This Coffee Shop corresponds to the category of Coffee shop.
Crowded. Coffee is good and scones are always fresh. Seats are not comfortable inside (cushions are worn and you can feel the wood in the seats). Good location for outdoor seating and get food to go.
I am not a coffee fan but the place was great and so were the baristas
Love this place! I was visiting from out of town and lucky enough to stumble across this cozy cafe. The cappuccinos and mochas were delicious. Wish I had longer to sit by the windows and enjoy the beautiful view.
Fantastic. Best lattes and cappuccinos. Great lunch items.
These folks rock. The perfect place to go before work... hearty greetings, great espresso and good food.
My husband ordered a double espresso and it was one of the prettiest things I've ever seen! Everything in served on a rectangular plate. At one end is your tiny mug of espresso. At the other end is a small glass of water. And on a spoon in between the two are two chocolate covered coffee beans. Luckily, my husband is awesome and let me eat those.. :) My only complaint seems a little silly...I think they were playing Tori Amos, a particularly wrist-cutting, annoying song. Her voice is pretty strident and took away from the laid-back atmosphere for me.
Nice vibe. Good place to study or meet friends. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They don't have salmon for bagels, if you're looking for a local sandwich go elsewhere.
I love this Kaldi's!! Everyone there treats you like family. Also located in the best neighborhood!!
Been a kaldis customer for 5 yrs today they messed up my order they usually give a wood coin for a free drink today not only did i not get the coin but when i asked for a refil on my coffee i drank while waiting for my order to be remade they charged me full price for it as well i live closer to kaldis wich is honestly why i choose kaldis but i think sump and rise have way better coffee guess ill have to start driving a little further p.s. i come in daily and spend at least $15 daily on food and drink great customer service
Staff needs a lesson in customer service especially the barista with half of her head shaved. I asked if they had a menu I could take to the outdoor seating and she exclaimed that she can't do two things at once. I was told that they don't have servers and that I had to serve myself when minutes later I saw them bringing out a drink to someone. Coffee wasn't that great. I had a latte. It was bitter/burnt.
Nice coffee shop, but I got a drink and specifically said for here please, because I wanted it rebrewed.... they do it for me all the time at other kaldis i go to.... The barista proceeded to simply tell me "well this is how we do it here" and wouldn't help me out. :( disappointed in customer service
5-star food, drinks and service. I can't speak for the other Kaldi's locations, but this one is fantastic! I ate lunch here about 3 days a week consistently for a year, so trust me - it's consistent! The salads are a great value and the …
Cool spot. Great coffee, good vibe.
How is this place not as big as Starbucks?
Good coffee and treats but a staff member was very rude to me while ordering. He had a beard, wore glasses, and has a small pony tail in the back of his hair. I seen another waiter taking my friends order so i just moved over to them . I couldn't believe the attitude . And later when i went in to get our coffee i over heard him say loud enough so i could hear , "he hates the sound of womens voices"
A St. Louis staple, Kaldi's has decent coffee and ok food. The price point for the drinks is fair, although their food is a bit expensive for what you receive. Customer service is mostly always great. Employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The interior of this specific Kaldi's is very nice. There is ample seating, a few reading chairs, and generally enough power outlets for everyone. This place can become quite busy during lunch hours and during weekend days. WiFi password: java2000
Good coffee. Good service. Reasonable prices.
Unique coffee house. All organic and plenty special flavors
A must stop for traveling folk. The coffee is better than your average local coffee shop standards. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a good experience. In addition, they have an excellent food selection.
Maybe this is a one off... but I doubt they alter their sandwich size. I got a Avacado sandwich for nine bucks which came out the size of a White Castle burger. The staff was unresponsive to typical pleasantries... such as 'hello', they just mumbled a bit and asked for my order. I like Kaldi's on De Mun, but I'll not return to the Clayton location for anything. I give two stars because I'm assuming it isn't poisoned. If no one hears from me again... reduce this to one star and send flowers to my mother.
Cute little shop, but unexpectedly crowded. I enjoyed their iced coffee
Their coffee and smoothies are fantastic. The one issue, that isn’t their fault, but is the reason for four stars, is that it is always crowded. Good for them, not always great for the customer.
A comfortable and warm neighborhood cafe. The baristas are good at lattee art
Coffee House, good food but was a bit cramped.
Everything you want in a city cafe. Great food, cool spot.
The girls working here were very rude to me about ordering a hot chocolate with a shot of espresso (so written on their menu), because I didn't refer to it as a mocha, yet there's a 5 cent difference between what I ordered and what they "corrected" me into ordering. Not cool, guys.
My favorite coffee shop. Espresso is excellent.
Amazing sandwiches, clean and friendly.
Coffee is pretty stellar but food leaves a lot to be desired.
Frozen coffee was great. They close at 6pm which is kind of odd.
Friendly atmosphere. Good coffee.
Best!
We're used to good coffee in Seattle and Kaldi delivers. Even got a free mug with our roasted beans.
Probably the best coffee shop I've ever been to in terms of quality. Very pricy, but most (including myself) would say it's worth the price. Only reason I gave it a 4 not a 5 is because it's almost impossible to find seating inside, it's always so busy!
Great location and beautiful atmosphere outside. We had a new Barista and our coffees were not very good.
Great coffee and food; the shop is quite cramped though.
A nice playground nearby for the kids to play basketball
Kaldi's is a great local coffee chain. Each of their locations is very inviting, and the coffee is delicious. Whether you are local or visiting, your time and money is well spent!
Very nice staff and delicious coffee from all over the world!
Good coffee at a decent price. They nice healthy options for breakfast.
They remember my name. :)
My favorite coffee to go get, particularly when I don't actually need to go into work on the weekend and can have a chance to sit and relax.
The team members were absolutely amazing regarding a late order that I changed the time for, and then was late. Very kind and accomodating.
Great coffee. Great location. Great service. I've had friends who have moved out of town, and request I buy them coffee from here for them!
I like this location. It can get busy on the weekends, but Demun is a quiet street and one can always walk around the seminary after you get your order.
Fantastic coffee and light food and snacks. Favorite vanilla latte and coffee cake
Really good coffee and food was decent. Everyone was really nice and there was a nice ambience to the shop. It did take longer than usual for the staff to make the coffee and my drink was messed up a couple of times. However, the staff were very apologetic and nice and fixed everything.
Excellent service and food!
Great staff, Service was nice and friendly . Ask for single origin when you order your cafe drink . Highly recommended.
They're basically Starbucks but better
This is one of my favorite coffee spots in the country. As someone who has picked my own coffee beans in the Andes mountains of Colombia and usually buy my coffee straight from small farms in Colombia, Kaldi's has become my new favorite. I don't frequent the locations often as I don't currently live in St. Louis, but I only buy Kali's Cafe blend now on their website. One thing I can say about the locations is that the food is the best food I've had at a coffee place. They have great healthy and great tasting options for both breakfast and lunch.
Great local coffee shop. They get you out quick even when it's busy.
Very good coffeeshop. Delicious coffee. Great place to work
Love everything about this place. Great location (hidden), warming/ cozy environment. The staff was excited about coffee and seemed to enjoy their job. I really enjoyed the business casual crowd at 7 a.m. The coffee is always good.
Avocado toast with faux-rizo = delicious and filling! The guy behind the counter didn’t mind my questions and the kitchen put the sauce on the side because it had butter as I had asked for no cheese. Very thoughtful. Also, the masala chai is super flavorful!
Their coffee is super delicious
My favorite coffee spot in St. Louis, hands down. Everything here is high quality, and it shows.
Always top notch pour overs.
The atmosphere and convenient location to DeMun residents is what makes coming here a great experience. The drinks are about what you'd expect from any coffee shop, and the food is tasty but nothing spectacular. But it remains as one of my favorite places to pop in for an hour or two to do some reading over a coffee.
One of the best local coffee shops! Friendly and helpful staff that are open to make suggestions if you're having trouble choosing. Delicious coffee. Nice vegetarian food options. Internet is usually nice and quick. I especially appreciate the later evening hours. Peak times can be pretty busy and hard to find a place to fit-- I'm in the way no matter where I wait.
Best Kaldi's in St. Louis. Can always count on friendly staff and top-notch drinks. They just updated their interior for a more modern and inviting environment. Try the mocha muffin - it's delish!
very sad
Grahams needs her fix
My favorite coffee in the STL area. Espresso has great body and ice coffee is rich and low acidity. Great atmosphere too with lots of outdoor seating.
This Kaldi's coffee location is very lovely but has a couple flaws here and there. The inside of this building is beautiful however there are no designated spots for people who just want to eat food and drink coffee. Instead many people are on their computers taking up space and not leaving much room for other paying customers. On the bright side the coffee here is Splendid. The Baristas are very kind knowledgeable and accommodating. The food is okay. If you are coming to this Kaldi's location I highly recommend the coffee and treats. If you're looking to fill up your stomach I highly recommend other locations.
The coffee here is downright amazing. I'm from the Pacific Northwest and this coffee is as good as anything I've had back home. The people here are also amazing and really go out of their way for you. Easy five stars.
Love this place
Nice quiet place to enjoy a cup of coffee. View of the park area across the street is nice too!
Went on a cross country road trip from Vermont to California with my partner, and let me tell you.... we drove 16 hours straight just so we can make it before closing to eat their breakfast sandwich
Great coffee
Great coffee.Awesome people I highly recommend it
Great Veggie Burgers, Friendly Staff.. Burger is So Good You will think that you're Eating A Beef Burger.. The Food is Always Piping Hot and the Chips are always Fresh.
Food is fantastic. Coffee great everytime. Mini scones. Fresh smoothies. Chill atmosphere
Great coffee with simple food and adequate seating. The scene is hipster mixed with upper class residents of the area. Parking can be a little bit tricky since it is near residential areas. However, across the street is a nice park that you can enjoy your drink while taking in the atmosphere and scenery, provided good weather of course.
Good coffee, a bit over busy. Staff friendliness varies greatly.
Good coffee and breakfast
This is my favorite coffee shop in St. Louis. They had a maple Rosemary latte that was divine. Their regular every day roast has a bold smoothness and natural sweetness to it. It's delicious and I would rather go here over Starbucks any day of the week.
Great service, great coffee. Sometimes it looks like its packed, but I've never had a problem finding a place to sit. Good place to read or study too.
My boss recommended I try this place on my trip to our St. Louis office. One step in the door and I understand why. My boss is from Austin and this place might as well be too. If healthy eating is your thing, this is your spot. The food is delicious and proportionate. The decor is inviting. The staff accommodating. I like this place.
One word: wedding cake cookie I've been coming here since the year 2001. Many things have changed since then, and Kaldi's is one of them. Pastries here are very good.
Nice coffee bar. Very good lattes. Haven't tried the food, but it looked good.
Very nice coffee shop! Highly recommend!
Nice little place. Lovely gooey butter cake and matcha latte.
Nice place to hang out with friends or get some work done.
Service is good but thats about it
Best coffee in Clayton
Lucky find for a drive-through traveler. Ideal, quiet location. Street parking galore. Large green park across the way. Super dog friendly. 4 when I arrived. Moms & strollers too. 4 as well :) Yup they have (must have) WiFi. Sparrows quietly nibble on unattended leftovers. Outdoor seating is perfect. Even a tree in the middle of the patio. I chose street, DeMun, because it sounds like DEMON and that's GOT to be a fun street. This is THE social location for the neighborhood. Drink prices are a wee bit high but they have punch card for frequent flyers. Blended toddy with dark chocolate ($6.50*) was smoother than a Will Smith pick up line. The owner must be loving his/her life. Great business, killer location/neighborhood with equally friendly people. Good on ya.
Great baristas, delicious scones and fantastic coffee!
A pleasant place to sit outside and relax, do some people-watching, and then stroll across the street to the Concordia campus.
The coffee is so magical and delicious. The staff is always super hipster, but extremely warm. They all seem geniuely happy to be making the best coffee in town. The Turkish & rose seasonal lattes are a game changer. Don't forget the food is yummy too, egg tortilla & their homemade granola bar.
always great coffee & lattes , Toney and crew always friendly
Friendly staff, fast service, great coffee, and even some vegan food options! The new vegan muffin is awesome and tofu is available to add to some breakfast / lunch items.
All around best Coffee Shop in town. Super friendly staff. Food is good and above average for Coffee Shops. Definitely my go-to spot for coffee. Back again and they always deliver on best brews!
Super tasty coffee! Lots of things to choose from, we got some seasonal drinks. The Mayan coffee was amazing, I'd compare it to a cinnamon mocha! The baked pumpkin latte was okay, they did warn us it wasn't as sweet as other pumpkin type …
Great place for coffee Not the best coffee I ever trying but a really good one Really cozy interior inside feels like home Go there in morning and in the evening
Great place but I wish they would stop using plastic cups for water and cold drinks. Sometimes the staff is rude, so I assume they are underpaid.
Stopped in very late had a good chai and coffee. Quick and kind service. Cozy seating.
Great coffee. Great atmosphere. Very popular neighborhood gathering spot.
While it’s nice to visit the flagship Kaldi’s coffee I grew up with, I miss too many things about the way it was run before it was bought out and turned into a major corporation. The food was tastier, the menu was larger, no Pepsi-Cola products were available, and I knew every barista no matter the time of day. Now it’s got a fairly bougie atmosphere due to the attitude of the staff (none of whom are over thirty or unconventionally attractive), tiny, bland menu (which has been shaved down to the absolute bare bones), and chandeliers (which will always feel distinctly out place inside a business which once prided itself on being a cozy, unpretentious spot to catch up with your Demun neighbors). #bringbackthekaldisof94
Excellent coffee and pastry shop in a beautiful neighborhood.
THE absolute best cappucino in St. Louis. We were there for our anniversary and went twice a day. They have several location but you have to go to the original on DeMun. It is a cozy non descript location im a quiet corner right across from the seminary. Watch the dogs run up and down the hill across the street..You will have to squeeze into a spot. The avocado toast with a fried egg is delicious a got to have. Tip it is a small location has outside seating if you want an inside table you will have to keep your eyes open and hustle to an open seat. My only concern was handicap seating. I did not see any.
Great service, delicious drinks and fireplace seating on a cold afternoon!
The space is a little small but otherwise great.
This establishment is always on top of their game. The team is efficient and actually like working there! the atmosphere is nice also. Outdoor seating is available.
Delicious! My favorite coffee shop coffee
Best staff and food for breakfast in the city.
a neighborhood classic. great food, nice staff, and everyone loves the coffee...
Love the new look! Great coffee and food.
Always satisfied with the high-quality coffee at this Kaldi's. They have a cozy fireplace to sit in front of with comfortable seats, or grab a booth for a nice conversation or meeting. Parking can sometimes be hard on the street, but you …
I tried the caramel mocha it was fantastic! I had an awesome morning release with my boss.
Good place to study, wish there was a discount on refills
Love this place for studying, catching up with friends, relaxing on a weekend etc. Great location. In a quiet neighborhood and across from a park. Their home made whipped cream is to die for. Vanilla latte is great (with home made syrup). Fresh baked goods, wonderful selection of teas.
Always amazing coffee, teas and a selection of yummy salads, sandwiches and sweet stuff. They are free traders and get good coffees from around the world.
Nice place to stop by at for a coffee or a quick bite. Food is responsible priced for being organic.
Decent place with great coffee
Pretty good! Atmosphere and location were great! Neat building and wonderful view of the park just east of the Seminary. Tight roads to navigate, much better with a smaller vehicle or bicycle. Coffee was meh. Tasted like it had sat for a bit. Not bad, but have had better.
Poor sevice
Great coffee shop in Clayton. Very busy all the time, but worth the wait. The staff here are all very friendly.
This place is truly wonderful! The staff is very friendly and the quality of the coffee and food is amazing! I would highly recommend going to Kaldis, especially this location because it is located near a field and in a cute neighborhood and so people come with their dogs and cute kids! It's also a really nice place to study (very close to WashU's campus) but there aren't a lot of working outlets so make sure to charge up before coming!
Nice local business offering quality coffee. There's a cafe menu, that I didn't order from, but what I saw being served looked very appetizing. Good product, excellent customer service, sociable staff.
Very nice location but does not have an accessible bathroom.
Love the coffee and the staff are great
Love this coffee shop. Pretty small but also has outdoor seating. I like that it is on an adorable corner in a cute neighborhood.
My favorite coffee in St Louis. House made syrup lattes are tasty too. Cranberry walnut muffin is my go to. The rest looks healthy good. Kosher, organic goods can be found here. Nice neighborhood cafe setting. Get a punch card and receive a free drink every 10 purchased. Limited seating. Outdoor seating. Street parking. Free parking.
staff was great food was great
It really killed me to rate this at 3 stars. I really love this shop for the location, ambiance, and neighborhood. At one time I would have ranked this as one of the top shops in the city but in the last year or so the quality of service, drinks, and food has really taken a hit. Last time I was in the baristas were inattentive, drinks were poorly made, and the food was cold. I was disappointed about my favorite spot to say the least. I think this shop could come back with a bit of training. I hope it does.
Great staff, they'll learn your name if you go there enough. Ask for single origin when you order your cafe drink because they've got a great rotation going.
Good coffee and bagels
Coffee was good not amazing. Definitely a study spot. Super quiet.
Kaldi's on Demun is everything a corner coffee shop should be, and it starts with excellent coffee and friendly service. With a wide variety of coffee and tea, baristas are helpful in making a selection. Great drinks are complimented by a great atmosphere; a cozy cafe space and a good sized patio create an place were customers can work, converse or study. I enjoy going in the evenings during the week because its a little quieter. Weekends are very busy. Parking can be difficult as well around the Demun neighborhood. As a tip, park in the neighborhood just north of Kaldi's.
good vibes. wishing it was open later on Sundays right about now
Kaldi's is a great place to drink coffee, enjoy a sandwich, and/or work on a computer. The staff is friendly and it's a cozy shop.
Wonderful environment. Great food and drinks as well.
I love the coffee and the gluten free options. So good!
Great coffee.
Fresh roasted coffee
I love your coffee!
This is the mother of all coffee shops in Saint Louis. Check around and you will find that many of the celebrity baristas in Saint Louis originally trained at Kaldi's or from someone who trained at Kaldi's. Kaldi's has ruined me for coffee, because nobody does it better. Follow the goat to this location by the Ritz, or the other one on DeMun.
Love kaldis
Friendly staff, and great customer service in an unusual location. Locating the parking garage is tricky, but space is always available.
Good coffee, nice quiet neighborhood
Great food, drinks, and staff
I was going to give this place a 4 because my breakfast burrito took so long to be ready, but dern it was worth the wait!!! It was super tasty, big, packed with flavor, and grilled for a great crisp on the outside! They have a lot of good tea latte options, which I appreciate, and a lot of good bakery options, plus smoothes and a food menu. Everything is vegetarian here which is pretty awesome and everyone was really nice!
I had the most delicious grilled cheese sandwich ever!! Very cool vibe friendly people great location but I wish they had their own parking lot
I'm a regular because of the scenery and the outside seating
Great coffee and great food. It was walking distance from where we stayed. Dogs are welcome. Great outdoor seating as well.
Visiting from Chicago, Kaldi's came recommended, so we started our day here. A fine location with amiable environment; coffee (Wahana pour-over) & food (breakfast burrito) were both spot-on. Service was flawless.
Fast service tastes good
I'm totally biased, but I do think it's the best coffeehouse in the world. Great vegetarian food, fantastic friendly service. Get a pour-over and a naked breakfast burrito.
Food is great, atmosphere relaxing and a nice place for meetings
Not a coffee guy, but I understand that it's good. I do enjoy the food I've eaten here.
Small, but nice place at the heart of Clayton. Staff is nice and a decent selection of food and pastries to choose from.
very positive bunch... not always the case and against the stereotype. they didnt flinch or even look itchy in the least when i said "large" instead or 'grande"
Great food, especially the Avocado Toast, with fried egg.. Good service. Recommended!
Gorgeous cafe with delicious coffee. Only knocked a star off because the house coffee I ordered was room temperature and had clearly been sitting in the carafe for a while. It was afternoon, but I felt like they could have offered a pour-over instead when it was clear that the coffee had gone cold and stale, especially because they were out of the Highlander Grogg that I had originally ordered. Even still, I'd be happy to come back because even cold, their coffee is clearly superior.
Excellent coffee. Best in area
Love this neighborhood gem. Always a treat to grab a coffee and sit outside looking at DeMun park or cozy up inside with a book. Their food is delicious and staff is always friendly.
Great food and friendly staff!
Love cozy atmosphere and of course the coffee is the best!
Gibraltar, get it. The monthly drinks always sound good and usually are, definitely try them. It's a tough space for flow, but it's in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood and a great place to grab a coffee to go or to sit a while, if you can get a table.
Everything is SO GOOD but SO EXPENSIVE!!
A nice quiet place next to a nice quiet park located on a nice quiet street in a cool old quiet building
Fresh, locally roasted coffee, expertly crafted by some of the nicest people in town. My favorite drink is the house made iced vanilla latte, with soy--and second favorite is just a cup of the daily drip brews. It's impossible to have a bad cup of coffee, especially at this location, if you're drinking Kaldi's. Bonus: they serve hot and cold snacks, plus Billy Goat chips!
Good place to work and get some coffee. I liked the breakfast sandwich!
Baristas were nice to our kids! Get the Orange Almone Muffin.
Excellent coffee! Highly recommend.
A few things have changed and I wish they hadn't. Unfortunately, you can't fill up your own coffee cup anymore. Also a bottomless coffee now costs around $5. The employees are still kind and helpful, and the coffee is still good.
I am a big fan of this coffee shop. Great location and great coffee!
Delicious small trendy breakfast place. I had their quiche, it was quite good.
give information about there diffrent blends and great food
Great experience here at the original Kaldi's! Great atmosphere, coffee, service and a friendly crowd. Outdoor seating is nice!
The best Kaldis in the city.
The coffee is excellent and I like the commitment to the sustainable products.
Perfect macchiatos and wonderful baked goods. Best coffee house in StL!
Not impressed
Space can be a little tight but coffee choices are always new and interesting!
The best coffee place in Saint Louis! If the weather is nice, sit outside!
Great coffee, quick service.
The friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and tasty coffee will make you forget about the parking issues.
One of my favorite coffee shops. Decent wifi anf moat locations have semi decent access to power outlets. Gluten free options available as well.
Excellent local roaster. Nice ambiance. Friendly servive.
Wondering where to go? Stop..go here. Breakfast Burrito was the best I've ever had. Hand poured coffee was exceptional as well
My favorite place to go on a weekend morning for looseleaf tea and quiche!
The only St Louis coffee shop that has remained on my radar. It's good. But there should be more competition for good coffee in this town.
Great service coffee and food! They were very crowded though customers acknowledged others coming in and made room for them or switched tables. It has a wonderful friendly neighborhood atmosphere!
I wasn't impressed by their beans, or hand brewed coffee. In my opinion this isn't a true third wave shop, and the staff wasn't very knowledgeable about brew methods. They also brewed my coffee and left it on the scale for 15 minutes; I had to ask about it and they said they totally forgot.
Nice view if you sit outside. Good latte and friendly staff.
I love other Kaldi's locations, but in this one I had a bad experience. We ordered Gibraltar, and barista made it to go without even asking. It had taste and look of a regular shot of espresso with some milk....not the drink I know they make well at Kaldi's.
This place is awesome. Their coffee is to die for, but the staff are the real treat. I was here for work, and the baristas knew my name and order by my second day. Everyone is friendly, personable, and positive.
Good coffee, nice atmosphere. Hope you like indie music, because that's what you're getting.
Great coffee and pastries. Location and atmosphere are fantastic!
Love kaldis coffee
Good but very pricey!
Best baristas in STL by far
Yummy, but a bit pricey.. $15 for 2 frozen Carmel coffees and a slice of gooey butter cake. (but the gooey butter cake is
Coffee is always amazing and the staff are extremely friendly. Very cozy place to sip coffee and relax.
Always a must when coming back to St Louis. Great coffee, good snacks, and perfect outside enjoyment.
Love the mocha! Great atmosphere for both hanging out as well as for running in to grab a coffee on the go!
Top notch local coffee shop.
Espresso done correctly. NOT Starbux swill, proper microfoam and the house espresso is fantastic. I'm a California coffee snob and rave about this place.
Excellent coffee. Great service. Friendly baristas.
Great coffee in a great location. Right beside the Concordia seminary and close to the west side of forest park. Getting coffee and walking through the seminary grounds makes a good start to a date. There have been some really skilled baristas here over the years. The food is also quite good. Nice outdoor seating when the weather is good.
Since this is the downtown Clayton location, the only critique I have is the lack of ample parking. Not necessarily the fault of Kaldis though. Great coffee!
Probably my favorite Kaldis. A hidden little corner spot next to a couple of great parks. The baristas were super friendly as well. Food was delicious.
Fabulous staff and uniquely delicious coffees, Kaldi's makes it hard to go anywhere else.
delish
Very cozy, tiny coffee shop. Nice ambiance and great patio right across from the park. Elbow to elbow, but it offers a "get to know your neighbor" moment. But quite seriously, decor and good coffee aside, it's pretty crammed! Can be hard to get a table.
The basil and avocado sandwich was amazing
I am an OTR flatbed truck driver ..the coffee there is fantastic
Great coffee
The coffee is alright. The attitudes of the employees are snobby and rude. No smiles, no happiness, just a stale environment with employees who seem like they would rather do anything else instead of be around a customer who just wants to order and be on her way. I don't think I would go out of my way to return any time soon.
Cozy place. Tucked in a great neighborhood.
Works for me!
Wonderful, progressive coffee shop. But don't go, I don't want it to get too crowded!
Good coffee
Great coffee, great location, nice people
The location is not ideal. It is kind if hidden in the suburbs. The customer service was excellent when i visited around 6pm, but they seemed understaffed. Unlike starbucks the service is a bit slower. But the drinks are always better. I would strongly recommend trying this place since it is a saint louis business, and a personal favorite. I'd strongly recommend their highlander grogg brew, and their mocha.
St Louis Ricks and Kaldi is the best local place to go for a cuppa
I love this place !
Love the coffee and atmosphere. I enjoy the burrito or the crust less quiche when I go.
Met a business partner at this location for a meeting. Great service and coffee. Even served it to me outside since there was a line allowing me to be more productive. Great staff.
My favorite coffee shop in the area! I come here to work on my laptop and for meetings. Sometimes just for coffee and sometimes for a full meal. The staff is comprised of upbeat, friendly people who give quick service. The space well lit, with full window walls on two sides, which is a huge perk for me because I'm a window seat lover!
Pretentious and smug. Coffee, not bad but no better than most. Chai tea, just milk with some spice. Asked for another tea without foam and less milk, got it back with more milk and foam. If it were not for the location I would never come back. This place has a history of professional snobery without reason.
Cool place to eat
This is my favorite Kaldi's and it has by far the most charm. The outside patio is ideal during spring and autumn and the coffee is always well made. Plus free fast wifi and tons of power outlets makes for a great coffee shop. Expect people working on laptops and lots of students, especially at night.
Small shop, but great service and product located in a convenient location in the heart of Clayton.
Nice little neighborhood coffee shop w/an extensive food menu. The cakes and pastries looked very inviting...however, I think all this delicious looking temptations should all be covered w/a sneeze guard...which I noticed was missing
Delicious coffee and food. Appears posh, but the servers aren't pretentious at all. Nice vibe and outdoor seating too.
Of course Kaldi's, the original one, is the best. So funky, such a great location, great hours, excellent espresso drinks. What's not to love? Their chairs could be more comfy.
Best Coffee in town
Great service in a relaxing atmosphere. Staff is friendly and the drinks come out quick. Wifi can be undependable at times.
I am new to the area and everyone I work with raves about this place. But today, I tried their coffee for the second time and it was the grossest coffee I had ever had. I have now tried both of their drip coffees and let me just say I wish there was an Einstein's closer.
The best coffee in town!
My husband's favorite coffee, compared to Paris coffee.
Has some of the best coffee in town.
Great place to grab your favorite Kaldi's coffee. I had the sidecar, which is always fantastic. Also serving breakfast and lunch items for a quick bite. You can also find whole bean coffee for purchase.
Chocolate covered coffee beans! Ty Sarah
Nice little coffee shop! Went there with a friend who used to go there all the time! if you didn't know it was here you'd never find it and that was part of the charm of it all. The employees were very nice and the tea I got and the coffee she got were both great!
Good coffee at a reasonable price and the service is friendly.
Had the day's brew of Ecuadorian coffee. Not really impressed with it. The roasting didn't do much justice. It also has a sour note which i didn't like. Took a chocolate cookie to go. It is also disappointing, being dry and crumbly. We had wanted to stay to enjoy the visit and experience but too many people are hanging out not really having coffee.
Great coffee! It is my first choice every time.
This place while slightly out of the way offers a nice small place to get a drink.
Very popular place.
Always great coffee, good place to meet with friends.
Good coffee, not over roasted, in a very peaceful setting. Seating space is a bit of an issue during the school semesters.
Best coffee in StL
The Carondelet Plaza Kaldi's is my favorite coffee shop. Overall, the atmosphere among the staff at Carondelet is consistently and sincerely friendly and jovial. They are interested in every customer and go out of their way to ensure a pleasant visit. And I know the pride that the baker takes in her work! Always a pleasant experience!
A St. Louis classic! One of the original great coffee shops, who are intensely mission driven. I once saw a barista in training who was being grilled on the mission and vision statement of the organization! They have great outdoor seating, too, so uh, what's not to like?
