Inviting atmosphere, wide selection of coffee shop standards like espresso drinks, cold brew coffee, and chai, they also have good food at reasonable prices- I enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich. Free Wi-Fi and friendly staff. They even feature locally roasted coffee from Oddly Correct!

Went there for a week trip to IHOPKC. first day I went girl at front counter rude and disinterested seemed like she didn’t want to be there . Next day I go , the same girl is in a yelling match with a customer saying “you can leave !” . Was so confused. Security came after that little blow up. Later heard the fight was over like a penny or something. Other workers seemed nice. Breakfast bagels very good. But that girl at the front counter totally ruined my experience . :(

Love this coffee shop. Coffee tastes great (I love their caramel macchiato!) and is a great place for studying. Plus I always feel super safe there, since there are a few shady areas around here.

The vibe here was not my thing, though I'm sure it works for some. Higher Grounds definitely feels like a spot for religious gathering before it feels like a coffee shop. While I'm glad this works for them, it didn't quite work for me. The coffee was okay--I may have just gotten a bad batch. I appreciate what Higher Grounds is doing here, but it was not for me.

So, I found this place on Google maps on my way through KC. When i pulled up and saw that it was nestled between a church and a Christian bookstore I was hesitant, but really needed a caffeine boost. What the heck, I was already there. I was greeted my friendly staff who expertly prepared my iced latte. Seriously the best I've ever had. I have saved this joint for the next time I'm going through town. So good, I'm thinking Jesus is blessing the beans in the backroom.

Really nice little local coffee shop. I say little, but this place is actually huge inside! With friendly staff, and a light food menu it has just what a coffee shop needs. I did notice they don't seem to have their own WiFi, but rather utilize surrounding public WiFi which works just fine. All in all, I would recommend checking it out.

This is a nice place for group bible studies or reading alone. Quiet conversations are hard here because the setting is quite open and echoey. Probably not a place I'd study

This restaurant is a good place to meet with friends or have one-on-one business meetings like job interviews. There is a selection of coffee, tea, and bottled water and juice. They also have some fresh fruits, muffins, cookies. It is a pleasant place to visit!

I stopped by to just check it out and try the coffee and snacks. The coffee isn't bad, but I wouldn't call it good. Just not my flavor or profile I guess. Also the bakery case was completely empty at 1:30, there were a few wrapped up items still and the one I had was pretty solid but nothing special. Overall just not much of a reason to come back or go out of my way, but nothing you'd particularly want to avoid.
