This used to be my go to place and my only complaint was the spotty WiFi. I'm done after today. They've had a complete turnover on their staff and the new staff is impolite and unhelpful. The quality of their coffee has gone way down and they now charge full price for a refill. There are more convenient places I can go to drink bad coffee, be spoken to rudely, and over pay for lousy coffee.

Let me start off by saying that I LOVE Dunn brothers. I had it first in Minnesota and was hooked! This Columbia location is unfortunately pretty inconsistent with their beverages, I never send anything back and have returned two drinks here within a few weeks. The staff is always wonderfully helpful and willing to remake it. And when the drinks are good, they’re great. Probably not the spot for you to hit up if you’re in a rush, and maybe not for your first Dunn Bros experience. Try the one in Jeff sometime - it exceeds expectations!

I’ve had their coffee before, and it was pretty good. Today I went for lunch, expecting to see the full menu that is offered online. Granted, the web site says it varies by location. Was just a bit disappointed they only have breakfast. Even the cashier said it’s a bit deceiving online. Might want to consider changing that.

This is hands-down the worst business in town. I've been a frequent customer for about a year due to the convenient location and the drinks are good sometimes. BUT, I've now had at least 6 drinks ( and those are just the ones I've noticed) made with bad milk, as well as twice having coffee put in my tea. It's very frustrating when you're waiting at least 5-10 minutes for a drink that's both overpriced and indrinkable.

Charged twice because theu could not figure out which order was mine. And then gave me a cup with so much steamed milk that i ended up with less than HALF a cup of coffee. Ill stick with starbucks from now on.

Been a frequent customer for 2 years. About the last 6 months or so the quality of drinks have gone down. It sucks to find a drink you like and it tastes different every time. Wait times have gotten extremely poor. I once waited 20mins on one drink. I've learned they prioritize their drive thru regardless of how many inside. They'll service 4 cars before they make your one drink. Also, expect to wait even longer (10mins) if someone orders a breakfast sandwich in the drive thru. I wish they'd make the drive thru a drinks only menu since sandwiches take too long to receive. I continue to be a customer as I live close to this shop. The staff that was there about a year ago made awesome drinks, and were truly friendly. None of that fake customer service talk.

Get the Belgium Waffle breakfast sandwich. It was AMAZING. The waffle had the perfect ratio of fluffy to crunchy, the egg was fluffy, the cheese was melted, the sausage was perfect. This is my new favorite breakfast place.

At Dunn Bros Café in Columbia, MO, the coffee roaster is placed by the entrance where ordinary coffee lovers can see the roasting process, feel the heat, and smell the aroma. They are confident in their products and believe in their brand. More importantly, they demonstrate respect and appreciation to their customers. The staff are not only friendly but they treat you like a family. When they see me walk in, I don't need to say a word, they know my favorite drink. Really cool!

I’ve been coming here for a while off and on. The most frustrating part is they don’t operate by the hours posted on the door. The drive thru is rather slow, however I love their Nirvanas and muffins. Just wish they actually opened and closed by the hours advertised.

Got a medium vanilla cappuccino, got charged $4.80. Stood there and watched the guy take more orders, no problem, then he sat there and talked to one of the coworkers, still no big deal figured someone else will be making it soon. Nope, he decides he will finally make it without washing his hands after taking cash. He hands it to me and the cup fills practically empty! I look and I see foam at top so thinking I'm just imagining things. I get out to car and decide where foam stops and drink starts by using my finger and tilting the cup and pushing. Got almost half way down and it was still just foam! I'm not a needy person mind you, but damn if I pay 4.80 for a cup of much needed caffeine I expect it to be slightly over half filled. I take it back in and asked for my money back due to fact I now have to get to work after waiting 20 minutes for a half a cup of foam. Suprise! I only got 4.53 back... serisously?

This Dunn Bros is somewhere between a Starbucks and a local coffee shop - the space is large, and the coffee is good. Locals like to use this place for meetings, but it's nothing particularly outstanding or can't-miss. If you prefer to spend your money in a regional business instead of a national one, I could see making a special trip here.

I've been a frequent customer at this location for a few years now. I love this place, but within the past few months the customer service has tanked. We've received the wrong drink every single time at the drive thru for the past 6 weeks. Today, the Almond Milk was bad and had solid flakes floating about the drink. We returned the drive thru and only to be met by hateful staff insisting that is how Almond Milk is. Funny, because we've never seen good Almond Milk with flakes before.

Gross, old, not taken care of, and the worst coffee I've ever tasted. Being in a prime business spot in Columbia is truly the only thing keeping the doors open. Recommendations: Put some effort into the appearance. Garage sale furniture, torn carpet, and fake plants coated in dust make it nauseating to be there. Get some hardy, real plants. Invest in some decent furniture, stabilize the rocky tables, and clean the glass. Adjust the roasting process. Coffee has tasted very burnt every time I have had it. The iced coffee is way too watered down. The espresso shots were very burnt and gritty. Train your baristas. Someone that does not know what a cappuccino is should have no business serving drinks. Respectfully, I understand being new is hard and I have no hard feelings towards learning. I have worked in craft coffee shops for 3 years and I know the difference between a traditional macchiato and a cappuccino, they should not even be relatively close to the same thing.

Ordered our coffee and while I waited I used the restroom which was extremely dirty, trash can overflowing, TP everywhere and just unkept. Went out and couldn’t help but notice how filthy the rest of the place was while I continued to wait for our coffee. The floors were covered in crumbs, wrappers, and filth. It looked like the place hadn’t been cleaned up in days. I’m not one to usually notice this thing but it was only 1 oclock in the afternoon so it was a little unsettling. Also, the chai tea latte I got was extremely watered down. Sadly, I will not return to this place in the future.

We just went there today and ordered a few drinks in the drive through. We got our hot chocolates and one was luke warm so we just asked if they wouldn't mind heating it back up. We got a rude look from the woman working the drive thru and then a couple minutes later we got our drink back and it was just as cold. Sad to say, we won't be coming back anytime soon :(

They often only fill the cups 2/3 full. They have a high employee turnover rate. This affects the taste of your coffee, as new ppl are seemingly learning on the spot weekly. I have gone here for years. Their inconsistency is terrible. I'll just go to Schnucks from now on and see Jake.

Its not bad, but it can take them long time to make your coffee in drive thru, even when you are the only car. Also, inconsistent with their drinks, and not cheaper than Starbucks.

This coffee shop serves good coffee and pastries. It does however need a thorough cleaning and dusting. Not always open on time, and the service is soooo slow. I have waited 25 minutes for a cappuccino before and with only one person ahead of me in line. Friendly staff!

Good coffee, mediocre service, inconsistent hours and lackluster atmosphere. The coffee is great but that's about where it ends. Every table wobbles, most have wads of napkins shoved under a foot for balance. The armchairs appear to have come from a hotel/garage sale (worn & dirty). If dust bothers you, don't bother looking up, the decor hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. The hours are only good for the morning (not early morning) and early afternoon crowd. They are closed by 5pm most days. At times they close in such an impromptu fashion that you arrive to find a handwritten note on the door. The WiFi would be ok if it worked well. It's in a great location. They have great coffee. Everything else is just sad. ***UPDATE*** Dunn brothers has now done away with free or even discounted coffee refills. This is apparently to promote their payment app. The app lets you pay but the loyalty reward system is not on par with, or close to, that of Starbucks or Caribou. Another minor change, some of the dirty armchairs have been replaced. Sadly, their replacements are hard as rocks.
