This trendy spot was worth the drive from central. Like most shops has all the fixings the same. The staff showed loads of care in making and serving coffee. The effort showed with a great espresso topped with well made foam to complete a cappuccino. Coffee was bold yet carried a smooth finish. Had wishing I could of had a second cup.

Pretty cool. They have a bar you walk up to and order your coffee from a menu that sits at the counter on a clipboard. There are lattes, cappuccinos, hot cocoa and a good house coffee. You can see pastry and cookie choices at the counter and they call your name when your ready and bring your drink out. It's a cozy friendly place.

Really great coffee shop and roaster. If you care about where your coffee is coming from, how it is made, and how it tastes, this is the place for you. It's at least as good as Sump, which was previously my favorite coffee shop in St. Louis. So that's high praise indeed, and Blueprint deserves it.

My wife and I get our coffee bags here every week for espresso and drip coffee. Place is always busy, so if you're looking for a place to sit, you might have issues. Baristas are all pretty good. Not the best in town, but definitely do a satisfactory job. If you buy a bag of coffee you can even get a free drink. Not a bad deal for such high end coffee. Also my wife loves their homemade vanilla syrup for lattes.

I really loved how you could choose where your coffee was coming from, even in specialty drinks (I got a mocha with non-dairy milk). The food was also very good. I got a vegan lentil dish. The only reason I give it four stars is that seating is pretty limited.

Spent an extended period of time in St. Louis for work and frequented this coffee shop initially because of the proximity to my office. However, the quality of the coffee, food, and staff is what had me coming back. After a few visits, the staff welcomed me by name and knew my order. Would recommend Blueprint to anyone I know!

very good coffee, parking is a hassle and the weight is usually ridiculously long. Even to get a cup of coffee can take up to 10 minutes. Unless you have nowhere to go, I wouldn't recommend ordering food, it is overly price and took me a half an hour to get a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. Food was very good, but not worth the wait or cost.

Got their Nitro brew and a latte. Definitely an extensive cup of coffee, but it was tasty. Very busy spot on a Saturday afternoon, easy parking around the corner. They have printed menus to order from and a small selection of pastries as well.

I absolutely love coffee however my office buys this coffee and our whole office finds it to be the most bitter tasting coffee we have had. I am going to start bringing my own coffee maker to work from now on unless I can get them to change vendors.

Best coffee in town. The vibe is upscale coffee house. Great place to meet up with someone. Grab a bag of in house roasted beans while you are there. The owner and staff is super knowledgeable and friendly.

A hipster coffee place. They have their own beans that they roast in house. Literally just next to where people are drinking coffee. It’s a smaller operation but the coffee is pricy as one would expect in a place like this. It was pretty busy with students and young professionals and not a lot of room to sit and work.

As a midwesterner living in Portland, I have some definite opinions on coffee culture, hospitality, where the two do intersect, and where they don't. While my daily life is filled with expertly pulled shots, it's also often filled with gruff baristas who have ran out of effs to give about my patronage. So, it was with a breath of fresh air when I walked up to the counter at Blueprint Coffee in Saint Louis. Physically, this place has all of the trappings of a too-cool-for-school Portland coffee shop. But personality-wise, this place is midwestern all the way. The baristas were genuinely friendly. When the woman at the counter asked me how my day was, it was like she actually meant it and listened to my response! Oh Missouri... I've got plenty of gripes about your politics and harsh winters, but damn if your people aren't friendly. Back to the coffee. I got an almond-milk latte and it was fantastic. smooth and rich, with some really great latte art, considering almond milk is a much less forgiving medium. They do a lot of pour-overs, and they seem to take their caffeine seriously. It's all roasted right in the back, which explains why they know their stuff so well. Food options are pretty legit. Lots of breakfast sandwiches to choose from, though i just went with a biscuit with butter and jam. It was SO good, people! The biscuit itself was pretty light and had a really buttery/salty taste. Went so well with the jam, which during my visit was an apple butter. A great morning snack. Free wifi, lots of seating (though it's so popular you still might have to wait), and good lighting. A solid 5 star experience!

Spent about a year in St Louis on extended consulting job. Had no Friends to hung out and don't know where to spend my free time. This was the place to relax, enjoy, and to do your work or study without feeling lonely! Great latte and great small size high quality BK food. The staff / owners are so nice, professional and very kind. LOVE the place and left city with w/great memories. If I ever go back to St. Louis, for wok or vacation, I'll visit this place again and again!!!

Had a lovely experience at Blue print. The turmeric tonic was absolutely enjoyable. My companion throughly enjoyed a latte and vegan oatmeal cookie. I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie, in which, was not my cup of tea. I'll visit again for a turmeric tonic and vegan cookie. Super nice and knowledgeable staff as well as nice decor. Update: Day two, another turmeric tonic and a cinnamon roll. I'm more than satisfied.

Best coffee in Saint Louis IMHO. Bright vibrant coffees roasted right there in the store. Take advantage of the cupping (coffee tastings) about every week. Only downside, it's a little over the top "hip" for my taste. Coffee comes in a beaker and chairs, while aesthetically pleasing , aren't comfortable. Great coffee more than makes up for it though!

My grandfather, bless his heart, always freaked at these types of places, because "a cup of joe shouldn't cost more than a dollar". And for St Louis, a hot filtered coffee almost $4, you might feel like you're in the Mission District of San Fran rather than the Midwest. But excellent variety of coffee, and wonderful cherry and other flavor profile to the Nariño I'm having. Free WiFi, chill atmosphere, and nice vibe on a Sunday morning.

The service was slow and the place was just a little on the grimy side (especially when you can see inside the kitchen). All this and it’s only 830 in the morning. Not a place I’d go back.

Very high quality coffee, of the sort that is easily enjoyed without sweeteners. Excellent baked goods as well. The only improvement to the products themselves would be the serving of room temp butter rather than cold butter with the biscuits. Service is great; pleasant and efficient. What stops me from coming more often is the ridiculously uncomfortable seating. I suspect that maybe their goal is to have some turnover? To discourage the crowd who would linger for hours with study materials? I don't take issue with that goal, but these chairs are so anti-ergonomic, you're going numb halfway through an espresso. To add insult to injury, the damned things make the most awful nails on chalkboard scraping sound whenever some poor soul stiffly and heavily rises to leave. There's a bench to simply stand at while taking your coffee, but that's less of a solution if you're eating.

Only place that I have been to, that imports their own beans, roasts them onsite, grinds the beans in front of you, and does a hand pour over for a cup of coffee that I have never needed to add sugar or cream! If I could give them 6 stars I would. This is my go to place for coffee every Sunday morning before riding my motorcycle for the day. And the fresh pastries, like the Orange Cardamon is fantastic! (get it heated and add the butter...delish!).

I was excited to try their coffee for the first time. I went to the Delmar location. I love the industrial feel of a coffee shop. Blueprint has that. However, the reason why gave 1 star is because there are flies in the area where I was seated at. Yes, flies and not just a fly. I can't leave my coffee even if I wanted to go to the restroom because of that. Who wants to have flies in a food/coffee shop anyway? I tried the nitro muddy, it's not as good as I wanted it to be. My taste for coffee is a subjective opinion because I'm no expert in coffee tasting. So don't hold my words on this.B I've tasted a number of Nitro coffees but this one tastes odd for me. I hardly touched it. $6 is wasted.

Great coffee and espresso. Scientific, third wave approach to their java. Excellent espresso drinks and tasty breakfast treats. The coffee is high class and the atmosphere can be a bit pretentious, but don’t let this turn you away from a great cup of the coveted, dark, caffeinated elixir that keeps us all (well, most of us) going. Their biscuits and jam, housemade granola, and other breakfast options are tasty. Your gonna spend $$$, but if—like me—you have picky (and expensive) tastebuds, this is your spot.

A good solid cup of coffee. The barista knew what he was doing and pulled a sweet smooth espresso, and perfectly microfoamed milk. The espresso was a tad light roast for my personal taste, but I enjoyed this cup to it's last drop. Cute atmosphere, and it looked like they had a small food offerings menu as well as a pastry case.

The BEST coffee in all of stl! There are two locations in St. Louis, but I have only ever been to the Delmar Loop location. Their beans are also brewed at a few cafes around town (one being Half & Half, one of my favorites as well). Service is always fast and coffee is ALWAYS fresh. They select unique coffee from around the world and meticulously roast and brew it. My two favorite blends are Penrose and Nariño Select. I highly recommend this coffee to any person seeking out high quality beans!!

Robust coffee (organic Arabica beans from Papua New Guinea) makes this a top coffee shop. Very urban cool environment with the coffee roaster churning in the back and coffee aroma permeating the whole place. They offer a small variety of baked goods too. This is laptop central, so don't forget yours.

Coffee wasn't right. Was told it was my fault. First time I bought a coffee it was great, second time, not so much. Customer service is so important. You should never try and make someone feel dumb. I spend a lot on coffee a month. I've had coffee all over the world. No matter how good the coffee may be, not worth being treated poorly. I am glad these kind of places exist in St. Louis but servers and baristas are too young and inexperienced to know that you only have 1 minute at most to enjoy an espresso at the right temperature. Watched them chatting for a good 10 minutes while banging the cup to the counter for no good reason.

Yuppie heaven. Or should I say Millenial Hell. Making coffee shouldn't be so Damn complicated. I miss the old Mr. Coffee machines... Not a place for non Millenials (ie Normal People).

Great spot to grab a coffee and study for a bit. There is a decent amount of seating available and some standing-room bartops even if it gets crowded. Staff seems to know their stuff when it comes to coffee. And, as the picture suggests, they are good at their craft. All in all, one of the better spots in the loop to stop in for coffee.

Oh Blueprint, how I love thee. You always make my coffee thoughtfully and with joy. I can taste it. You come out from behind the counter to deliver it to me with a smile. I feel so good after drinking your magical elixir. God bless you. Seriously this place makes amazing coffee. I get decaf almond milk lattes (don't judge) and the alternative milk is not an afterthought. The place is always jammed with people working and studying so if you want a spot to squat you better get there early. The pastries all all amazing as well if you get a sweet tooth. The 15+ times I've been there I have never had a bad experience. Oh and there's a free lot behind the building which serves all of the restaurants in the building.

I love quality roasted coffee but the shop itself — the ennui of the staff and the vibe — is all wrong. It took 20 minutes for them to give me the wrong drink. We bought 3 bags of beans bc I’ve heard good things so hopefully those make up for a terrible in store experience.

Blueprint has the best coffee in STL. Their Delmar location is a bit small, but the vibes are so cool. Minimalist atmosphere with tasty bites and fantastic coffee. They also offer top notch coffee equipment for sale. Parking can sometimes be tricky due to their location on Delmar but thats to be expected. Wish they had longer hours.

Went in just to buy some coffee beans, but glad I didn’t sit and have coffee there. The coffee was great! As stated in other reviews, I think the owners are political activists. So you’ll have politics shoved in your face if you come here. This, combined with the VERY strong hipster vibe, could make some people uncomfortable.

Best coffee in town. Their hand poured coffees are excellent, as well as their lattes. A great place to work with lots of outlets, free wifi, and plenty of seating. It can get a bit loud sometimes, so if you want a quiet place to work I would recommend trying to come during the early morning or late afternoon. Don't forget to try some of the pastries or egg dishes if you are hungry.

This is one of the best cups of coffee you'll get in St. Louis. You can tell that attention to detail is a main priority -- from the beans and roast to the water temp and brewing time. I've eaten small baked goods here a couple times, and the food was good, but I can't speak for what comes out of the kitchen. I come here for the coffee, and I will keep coming back for the coffee.
