Usually pretty tasty. I love all of the drink choices, and it's all pretty cheap. They don't have a lot of pastry/dessert options. Occasionally I have gotten a salad with really visibly bruised lettuce, and I am not a huge fan of the deli meat on the sandwhiches. Other than that, I really enjoy coming here, and those things are easy to fix.

Definitely not the most amazing coffee I have ever had. The atmosphere wasn't super friendly, the Barista who was a male didn't even say hello when I came up to the register and acted like he didn't really want to be there. I would go again if I just needed to run in and out for coffee but don't know if I will go again to sit and stay awhile.

Coffee was great. I also got a scone and it was delicious as well. The décor was nice and homey. But they didn't offer soups on Sunday which was kind of a bummer. And the barista was not that friendly. She kept referring to my and my friends drink choices as "Starbucks drinks" which seemed very condescending. My coffee selection is what I like. If I wanted to go to Starbucks I would have but I came here because I wanted to go to a coffee shop that seemed spiffy and fun. I brought my business HERE and making fun of my drink choice does not make me a returning customer.

Everyone seemed nice and friendly, except the guy that served us. He was very abrasive and short with us. My wife asked for an iced latte and he made it hot. When she said something he blended the hot latte. I think we just got unlucky. The guy with the goatee is the one to avoid.

I have been here for various events. The first time I went was for an improv show. I also went for a breaking the silence party with the Glo Center and GLSEN, after the day of silence. It's a nice little place. Seems to be pretty LGBT friendly, since they let us host events there. It's cozy and cute.

Atmosphere is great, the staff is nice and the food is yummy. It was my first time visiting friday. I did half sandwich half salad. When I ordered the chop salad it says that it has red onions in it. Being allergic to onions I made sure to order it without them, unfortunately when i started eating my salad it tasted like strong onion, sure enough there they were and it was too late i ate raw red onion. I stopped eating and brought my full bowl back and told them ( again) i am allergic to onions and that it was full of them. Without hesitation they took it back and remade my salad. They had great attitudes and were very kind. I will still come back. I highly recommend Big Mamas.

One of my favorite coffee shops in the world! The berry wheat bread is amazing as is the foccacia bread. If you are a tea enthusiast try the chai latte hot or cold. Or even the double bergamot earl grey! The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable!

Never been in Big Momma's, just moved back from California my daughter went and got me a "tall dark and handsome" ie coffee and breakfast burrito. This is so good I haven't even finished it yet had to stop to do this. Thank you Big Momma we will be regulars.!!!

Don't go here. Just don't. The young man taking my order did not know if their syrups are vegan so he went to ask. Out comes an older man who was incredibly rude. His response was that he doesn't know if they are vegan. And he kind of acted like it offended or annoyed him. He just stood their looking at me and I him until he said, "Well, do you want me to find out?" Uhhhh yeah I do, Sparky. How am I supposed to order unless I know that? Then he continued on the vegan talk by saying he used to be vegan until he came around. He even rolled his eyes when the guy who took our order told him I wanted almond milk. So here's want you need to know about this place. This particular staff member (who might be the owner for all I know) is rude. So customer service is a zero. And the coffee is a tad under mediocre. The bathrooms had no soap, the floors looked dirty, and it just looks all around dirty in here. The menu is cluttered and hard to read too. Instead of this place try nearby Eurasia. It's much better all around including how good their coffee is to how customer service is supposed to be. And guy if you don't like vegans then don't offer vegan options. We will gladly go elsewhere (including all of my non vegan friends) right down the street to Eurasia or anywhere but here.

Really fun place! I would recommend for lunch when you are out and about the town. Really great location off of commercial street where the buildings and streets are well kept. The staff is what really makes this coffee joint, they are exceptionally friendly and my friends two year old stood at the door of the kitchen as the boss who took our order walked to the back and started making our food, started making him laugh and was having just so much fun doing his job and that's always refreshing to see. Then two other members of the staff came in younger very friendly as well was joking with us and each other and it was a very comfortable place both on the wallet and the overall atmosphere. I WILL be returning! I recommend having them make you a French vanilla cappuccino they make one of the best I have ever had! And of course you have to try out their breakfast our group sat on the couch and passed each other bites it was that good!! If you are having a fun day stop by and make it even better!

I love this coffee shop! They have a large back room with many tables for study and work. Also some comfy couches and chairs. I got the half-sweet Gingerbread Man latte and it is spiced perfectly. The WiFi is fast and easily accessible. One of the baristas offered me a student discount I didn’t know about - great customer service!

Came here for a group meet up. The back room was not kept up very well and appeared unclean. I stood at the front waiting for over 5 minutes for a person to come take my order. I finally kinda yelled in a friendly voice, "hey anyone back there?" A guy yelled back rudely that he would be up in a minute. He wasn't friendly when he took my order either. Even the coffee I ordered was lukewarm. The only reason I give this place an extra star is because the food was really good. With all the other coffee shop options out there (where I don't have to park 5 blocks away on a weeknight) I doubt I will return here.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming from the second you walk through the door. This place has charisma that is missing from a lot of coffee shops. The staff is wonderful and and hilarious, making you feel like an old friend. If you don't stop in, you're missing out on something great. Oh, and the food is amazing. Try a smoothie, let them pick the flavor. They'll do great.

Everything about this place is amazing! The food is fantastic and ALWAYS fresh. I have never gotten something I don't like here. they also have some vegetarian options for any herbivores out there! Their soup is made fresh everyday and always delicious if you can get here before they sell out and they do everyday (which shows how delicious it is)! They have really great coffee and other drinks as well if you're not feeling like coffee! They also have really good desserts and sweet snacks. I literally cannot think of one thing I would complain about. And to top all of that off, the staff is super friendly. They help make this place even more extraordinary. The elderly man I take care of has been coming here for almost a decade and everyone here truly cares about him and his well being. They have even helped walk him to his car when it was icy. This place is absolutely wonderful! It is good for the soul!

I love finding local run cafes and coffee shops in a small community that is trying to revitalize their downtown. I'd throw money at that all day! This is a wonderful old building with lots of character. Such an extension menu of espresso drinks and coffees. Eggnog latte was yummy!Food in case was "day old" breads. Coffee of the day was lukewarm. If we had been greeted with a "hello" or "good morning", it would have made us feel welcome into the establishment, instead of the glances while mulling around, both baristas did. We felt like we were intruding on someone's private space. Not a good impression for travelers. Maybe the locals are okay with it.

Located in an old, brick building flavored downtown setting, its place on Commercial St. puts the railroad tracks in view through the back windows, which are up on a little stage that hosts an open mic on Monday nights. The smoothies come recommended, and the atmosphere is divided evenly so it's comfortable to stop in the front for a minute on a hot day or to stretch into a warm sofa in the back for a long afternoon. The staff has been friendly to me for every visit over the years, and the draw is to come visit the Historic Commercial St. area as a whole and its burgeoning little Bohemian scene.

I really like the atmosphere at Big Momma's. I like going in sometimes before class and getting a pot of tea, listen to some music, and write a bit. I get loose leaf tea there, and the quality is great! The staff makes suggestions towards other things that you might find of interest based on your likes, just let them know what you're looking for!

I will always love this place. Monday's free to listen to live music from locals. Love love love the foccacia(sp?) Bread. My favorite sandwiches is the Jefferson or the Jacqueline. Love the hot tea selection. Try every coffee they have. AND! Either snag a BIG cookie or a piece of pie/cake...must go and chill here.
