Cat Island Coffeehouse is not only incredibly scenic but the staff is very friendly, the business is clean and orderly, and the food choices is delicious. I ordered a sweet tea and grilled chicken Caesar salad while my colleagues ordered various sandwiches. We were all very much pleased by the portion sizes and how flavorful everything was. I highly recommend this place to any and everyone.

My Dad and sister stumbled across this place on a holiday visiting my Grandparents and introduced it to me while on another visit during Thanksgiving. I LOVED IT so much that I biked 8 miles to it on my last day in town. The baristas are friendly, helpful, and engaging. The building is cozy and warm, full of books and happy people. I sat outside during my time and enjoyed the ocean view and ambient noise of the cars and birds. Best yet - one free refill on their drip coffee - magical

This is the ultimate coffee hideout. It's my third visit, and each time, the service has been outstanding. The folks who work here must love their jobs. My go-to drink is a skinny or soy latte with 2 Splendas, which I get to enjoy on Cat Island's fabulous veranda overlooking Pass Christian beach. It's difficult not to love. And there is no other place like it for miles.

Evidently fresh-baked cookies and other sweet temptations. Indoor and outdoor seating, in case you crave the breeze. Easy parking and in walking distance of every life essential. Make it part of your plan!

If you'd like to read and drink coffee while looking at the beach you should definitely check this place out. There is a spiral staircase that takes you upstairs to a cooking section and extra seating as well as a desk. There is also outdoor seating. Great location. The cold brew was excellent and my husband really liked his latte. We'll definitely be back when visiting again.

Insanely good coffee! Very nice and attentive staff. They make in house syrups which was hard to find on the coast. I had the brown sugar latte and really enjoyed it. The only thing I would suggest is to reduce the amount of books in the shop or make it to where people have more space to enjoy coffee while they browse.

Definitely my favorite place to get coffee! I have never been disappointed. Usually get the Muddy Waters, which a great smooth but flavorful cup of cold brew. They have great snack options as well and service is top notch. Be sure to check this place out! Oh, and it's in a little book store with lots of books local to the area.

I love it here. It is like an escape from life for an hour or so. Wifi is available upon request and is speedy, the views are gorgeous, and it is a great place to study. My favorite beverages are the Caramel Machiatto because they always come out just right, and the Mandarin Silk black tea because it is so smooth and the shop provides all of the garnishes and fixing you could want with it. Truly great products and the staff are always looking to please.

Atmosphere - cat Island coffee house really stands out as the best coffee shop on the coast. This is hands down my favorite coffee shop. The architecture, the tables, the books, and the small details all create an environment that help you brace yourself for a warm and cozy experience. You won’t experience better service than what you get here. Espresso: the espresso is the best I have had on the ms gulf coast. They hold themselves to a higher standard. Cortado - I haven’t ordered a better cortado at any other coffee shop. Cappuccino - my first love at this coffee shop. Cat island cold brew - great when you are craving something sweet. You really haven’t had coffee until you have had it from Cat Island Coffee house.

Completely unacceptable treatment when my friend and I visited this coffee shop. We were asked to move from our table because “there were not enough of us” at the table. We kindully left to search for somewhere else to sit when we noticed one person sitting at the table we had just left, and they of course were not asked to leave. The staff asked us to move from everywhere we sat, so we eventually got our things to go. The staff acted very snobby (which is ridiculous) and made our time here very uncomfortable. The overpriced food and coffee is very good, but I highly recommend you take it to go to avoid some of the rude staff.

Biked to this place 1 day during spring break while I was on my way to play disc golf. Their bowl of sausage & grits was quite yummy. What I was most impressed about, though, is the scenery. Sometimes service is measured not by how well everything is performed, but how well you are treated when everything doesn't go as it should. Such was the case when my wife and I visited Pass Books for a cup of coffee. On ordering I asked if ceramic cups were available, told yes, and I placed my order for two cups of special brewed coffee in ceramic cups. When the coffee arrived (they brew each cup separately) they were in paper cups. I voiced my displeasure and was told they were out of clean cups, "we're washing them, and they would be out within a couple minutes." My paper cups were complementary and the ceramic cups would be out in just 2 or 3 minutes. Our server, Cody, was apologetic and very professional. He saved the day. The coffee turned out great and we will return. First class place and first class service. Thanks Cody.

An adorable, cozy little coffee shop / bookstore right off Hwy 90, with fantastic views of the Gulf. Workers were super polite and friendly, and the food I got (iced Mississippi Mocha and a White Chocolate & Raspberry scone) was absolutely delicious. The scone especially was amazing - wish I could come back every weekend for one of those! There's a loft with a little more seating and books. Wifi was available and worked well, I enjoyed spending the afternoon here getting some work done and savoring my drinks.

Stopped by this afternoon to try out this Pass Christian coffee shop, has a nice bookstore with placed to sit outside as well as upstairs. I had the Mississippi mud espresso and a chocolate chip cookie and my husband had the cat island cold brew with the espresso brownie. Everything was delicious will definitely frequent again.

First time there and not a coffee drinker but thought it would be a nice place to see with my young son. Asked for the wrong coffee not knowing and was told that was a Starbucks Coffee. Once again not a coffee drinker, but went with the suggested drink close. As we were waiting for my coffee less than 15 feet away, server proceeds to tell other employee I asked for a Starbucks Coffee and offended her. My son heard it and was stunned at the remark. Guess that will be our first and last visit and stick to Starbucks or Coast Roast. Sorry for offending your staff.

I come to this coffeeshop/library fairly often and have not once had a bad experience. Every one of the employees, including the manager treats all their patrons with kindness and respect. Always have such great attitudes and exceptional customer service. Yesterday I had a cold Dulce De Leche and a warmed turtle brownie which was delicious, however, I will usually have a hot chocolate which is my favorite there. The sandwiches are really nice and well done too. Always a great experience here. Would highly recommend it to anyone passing through downtown Pass Christian. What a lovely place! Stopped in with my 5-year-old daughter today while taking the scenic route back to Mandeville, LA after our day trip to Gulfport. Learned about this place via FB a long time ago and finally had the opportunity to stop in. Wonderful place. Ordered an iced latte with almond milk for me and a chocolate milk for my daughter. Sat and browsed the books and was impressed by the diverse selection of children’s books (our main interest these days). Read a few (you had some Mo Willems books! Our favorite!) Quiet, relaxing, and just a lovely view with which to rest. We will definitely be coming back. Never change!

A cute, small locally owned coffee house AND Book Store that faces the Gulf of Mexico. They have a small menu. My fav is their delicious brisket breakfast sandwich! And, a nice selection of coffee and loose-leaf tea choices. They do not have traditional "hot-chocolate" but my 16 year old son has for many years liked their Mocha Latte with their yummy thick foam on top (which he thinks to this day is Cat Island Coffeehouse's own special homemade "whip-cream" ;-)) They have a wonderful selection of Mississippi/Louisiana authors/books as well as children's books. They do not have a drive-thru. And, the seating is VERY limited. There is only one larger round table with seating for 6 max. 3-4 other two tops. There is also a few tables on the narrow, front porch area.
