Nowadays this business has a rating of 4.4 stars over 5 and this score has been based on 340 reviews.

You know that we do not usually stop to put tatings when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Coffee Shop is classified in the category of American restaurant.
Good food, the tres leches cake was far better than others I've had, still heavy but lighter than others. Our breakfast dishes were beautifully prepared and delicious. They food was seasoned a little less than I'm used to but that allowed the fresh local ingredients to shine. A little pricey but the quality reasonably justifies the price.
Fresh, Delicious and Ethical! I've always had a Great experience here. The staff is friendly too!
Curried vegetables were SO GOOD. Great environment for working. Also great environment for hanging out, drinking, eating... Just a lovely place.
Textures and flavors combine to make even a simple brunch a special occasion : )
Love it! Great food selection. Interesting and delicious taste. I had the Kim Chi bowl and loved it. Very nice outdoor seating option
Good food, farm to table.
Great customer service and good veggie tempura.
Amazing food, very helpful friendly staff.
Atmosphere is ok. Food is fantastic.
Had the packages and omelette to share. Wonderful compote and shipped cream topping. Wild rice toast was tasty too
Slow WiFi. Expensive food, even with "tip included" it's still expensive for what you get and it's only okay food. Breakfast potatoes are the one outstanding thing on the menu! However, drinks themselves are reasonably priced and there are alot of outlets. A lot of seating and tables and they are nice tables to do homework at. Overall, okay not amazing.
My go to place to treat myself to brunch or lunch when I'm on the go. Reasonable prices and a living wage for staff! Earl gray latte is delicious.
Too expensive
Service is good but prices are high.
Very cute little cafe. Got dessert, but they also offer lunch. Coffee, tea, beer on tap. They also have deals for Co-op members!
Good coffee at great prices
The breakfast gnocchi is one of the better original meals I've had in my life. One of those type of things where randomly I feel unhappy, and I realize it's because I'm only hungry for their gnocchi, and only that can fix my despair. In fact, I'm leaving right now to go get more.
Fresh and interesting food. A friend visiting from Seattle loved it
Food was okay but I didn't like having to order each thing separate . Also it is quite pricy.
Food is excellent. Always something new to try. Great place to bring a group of friends or to go alone for a study session.
One of my favorite go-tos for coffee in the morning, in the hot bar and salad bar for lunch. Grab & Go!
Today, I came here craving for a burger and, unfortunately, this cashier at Seward Co-op Creamery Café was rude and unprofessional. I asked her types of burgers and their ingredients and she was already mad and irritating every time I try to ask for help. SHE DID NOT SAY A WORD. I am wondering what did I do wrong? I understand you may be having a bad day but behaving like this won't get you any better. And it is not my fault you have this problem-IT’S YOURS. I believe her stupidity was real. This was my second time and I am not looking forward to being here. She has no reason to be a jerk. You can't act like a good person for at least 3 minutes? I don't think she is helping this business whatsoever. I think her name was Koka/Koko with the Afro hair. if I am not wrong.
Counter service isn't my favorite, but friendly workers and good food. The chilaquiles look better than they tasted.
Ever since the cafe was reopened, it fits the neighborhood much better. The food is amazing and the prices are good for this stingy diner (me). The curried vegetables are spicy and delicious and filling and only $6. Everything I've eaten here has had incredible flavor and good portion sizes.
The food is great, it's very laid back, and it's kid friendly. Some people complain about the price, but the Creamery pays its workers a living wage and there's no tipping. A great concept! So keep that in mind if the prices appear higher than expected. (Oh, and free live music on Saturday nights)
My favorite place to shop... Except on Sunday late afternoon!
Loved it so much I worked there!! Lol cannot wait until im cleared to work again!
Healthy options abound. Bright, old world deli atmosphere. No tipping; prices include service fee. Gender neutral bathrooms.
What a bright cafe with creative eats! The patio is simple and relaxing, with a secluded feel, despite the busy-ness of Franklin Ave. The menu is fairly extensive, offering multiple options to please everyone you're with; including all day brunch, vegetarian options, and food inspired by various cultures. As tempting as everything sounded, I ordered their fried chicken sandwich, and I was elated by my choice! Not only was it loaded with bacon, cheese, and guacamole, but it was topped with veggies and a sweet potato bun. All these components contributed to the best chicken sandwich I've had in a long time; don't forget to ask for ranch for dipping! I also tried a part of their black bean burger and fish cakes. Although I wasn't as thrilled by these menu items, they were still good. The quality and freshness of Seward's ingredients is obvious when you see the vibrantly-colored plates and taste the oh-so-satisfying result. VERY reasonable prices, exceptional staff, great environment inside and outside. Perfect low-key neighborhood joint to grab a bite while digging into a book, diving into some work on your computer, or catching up with friends and family. Can't wait to come back and try more!
What a great place with good food and employees! Our go to place for bf or lunch whenever we are near the Twin Cities.
I hesitate to review this place because it’s my best kept secret. Ordered the kimchi bowl and it was delicious. Also, you really can’t beat their bottomless coffee. Great atmosphere and fast internet.
Delicious food, good prices, quiet place to study or work with WiFi.
So good. This is a co-op so you can’t complain about the price. (though the price is super reasonable) Quality of food is great. Whatever meal you get will fill you up. I got the fried chicken kimchi bowl, and had a bit of the stack of pancakes. Pancakes are really flavorful, hard to find pancakes that actually contain flavor and don’t need to be drowned in syrup/butter to achieve that. The employees were kind. Their cold brew was some of the best I’ve had. I will definitely come back to try more things.
I enjoy coming here for coffee and to do work. They have self serve drip coffee (Peace Coffee) and and bright, open space. The food always looks and smells good but I haven't tried it...yet. The outdoor space is nice and in front of an incredible mural.
Great food, friendly service and fair prices.
Really good food, reasonably priced, in a clean, uncrowded space. They pay their help a fair wage so no tipping is expected. This is a great spot to eat if you wish to converse with your companion in normal tones.
Really good rotating menu with local and before options. Also, I've cream!
This place has finally taken off as a great place to meet and hangout, with quality organic foods and drinks.
Way over priced and food is just ok. Got my order wrong for take out, and when I called I had to bring it back for a refund. Huge waste of time...
Food was fresh and delicious. Ordered the veggie burger and loved it! My grandfather got a burger as well, but of the need variety and only had good things to say. We will be returning.
Breakfast burrito is fantastic and available all day. Highly recommend!
Food is good albeit pricey for what is offered. Great looking environment.
Everything on the brunch menu was delicious, portions appear small but are very filling
Friendly neighborhood place. Good food. Reasonable portions. Fair price.
Servers are well informed about the menu. Food is good...some very interesting dishes
Great food and kind staff
Great food. Clean, casual atmosphere. Off street parking. Friendly staff. Vegan and gluten free choices.
Great ambiance and food.
One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Minneapolis. Excellent food, coffee, ambiance, and location.
After hearing good things about the cafe, and being a coop member, I had good expectations. We went for brunch, I ordered Biscuits and Gravy, but disappointed. The biscuits were the size of silver dollar pancakes, no sausage in the gravy as described, gravy was made from reduced beer and all I could taste was the hops, and there were three burnt black slivers of carrot on top. The two poached eggs were fine, but the combination of yolk and runny gravy rendered a bowl of muddy soup with crackers. For $12, it looked like a $6 appetizer plate.
Best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life! Very reasonable prices too especially because there's no tipping.
great casual health conscious food.
Really disappointed in my scrambled eggs and bacon. Chef clearly walked away from both as they were over done. Eggs were flat like a pancake and rubbery. I've had this exact meal a few times here and eggs were fluffy and beautiful.
Decent food. Little pricey. Food was kinda cold, not big portions.
vegan friendly options. great takes on traditional and seasonal cuisine.
Portions were very small about half of what I'd expect to get. Fries were soggy. The fish Patty I had tasted ok but the flavor was too strong to taste the actual fish. Also the staff seemed almost entirely Caucasian which seemed odd compared to the neighborhood population. On the positive side the tip is included in the meal. There was an outlet available by my table. The tea I had was very good and actually came in a teapot. The presentation of the food was very nice. And the server was nice.
Great food, craft drinks and cozy atmosphere.
Food was pretty good. Atmosphere was comfy and laid back. Portions were small... For a $12 breakfast, I would have hoped they wouldn't be such small portions...
Accommodating for a larger group, great food and staff!
Really great, local options. Interesting menu items. Would definitely come back.
Good food and atmosphere.
A little pricey but definitely worth it. The chicken sausage breakfast sandwich is absolutely delicious and full of fresh ingredients that leave you feeling energized and ready to attack the day. Also has a nice little outdoor seating area between the cafe and the co op. I'd definitely recommend stepping in for breakfast/ lunch or just a coffee next time you are at the co op or in the area.
Quality food, deliciously prepared. No tipping but, you can round up to support the cause of the month. They're still finding their way on menu choices but, the service is very friendly and consistent. Now in their new cafeteria iteration since October 2016.
Great gluten free options, yummy local ciders and beers, great coffees, friendly staff, and they have a patio!
We will have w e you are not a non of
Great breakfast place.
Great WiFi, nice large tables, lots of outlets, vegan and gluten free options, all gender bathrooms, parking in the back
One of the best meals I've had in a long time! The have a very welcoming and knowledgeable staff with an inventive and conscious menu. Also, if you are a member of the co-op then your dividend shows up on your check.
Organic herbs and natural healthy foods
Very friendly employees, clean, can seat outside, love their muffins
Great place to have favorite hot or cold beverage, along with the food. The staff - a good bunch of people!! Try it for yourself!!
Very nice place. The food tastes great, I suggest the fish and chips as well as the earl grey tea latte! ... the prices are a bit too high for the little amount that you get though...
Looking for artistic presentation of local, quality food? This is it! Agree with other reviews that the servers are helpful and offer good advice. We had kolrabi fritters, pork, guinea hen and a wonderful banana tart. Definitely be back!
Great patio! And I appreciate the living wage/no tipping policy.
They have a good happy hour and nice outdoor seating.
Clean, spacious, good food and coffee! Great place to conduct small business meetings!
Service was great. Food was not. Breakfast sandwich was as hard as a hockey puck. And expensive.
Local and responsibly sourced ingredients, friendly staff, great addition to neighborhood.
The food was excellent and atmosphere was friendly and clean.
Great menu with tasty and healthy options.
We went for brunch and the menu is varied for dietary choices. I had chiliquilles which could be a vegetarian, vegan or meat eater selection. Pancakes for my grandson. Mmmmm. Attentive service tips are not accepted but a donation to the co-op is.
good, food. but thought that the selection was a bit lacking
Bought a cone for $5+ and gotta empty cone with the tiniest scoop of ice cream I've ever seen. Rip off!
Cuz when you want to go in people treat you right not expected but appreciate it
Always a great experience. The staff are friendly. The food is excellent. One of my favorite spots for breakfast.
We got a double ice cream dish for $7.25 which is about 3/4 of a cup. By far the most I have ever paid for ice cream in my life. Watching the guy chisel out the sorbet was worth a dollar so at least we got that satisfaction. The baby spoons are cute too. In the end the whole thing felt like a very weird experience. It reminds me of the time I paid to register my car in Texas and the person working at the city office accidentally moved the decimal place and charged me $2500 dollars to register my car when she meant to charge me $250. If you are really bored and want to be taken to the cleaners stop by here for the double you won't be disappointed!
The concept of this Cafe is nice and they have a lot of selections, but they only had an over-roasted French roast brewed (plus a decaf) and their espresso machine stopped working when I opted for an americano. The menu items are quite pricey.
Tasty food with good specials. Prices are good considering there is not tipping.
presentation and taste of food is awesome, but really expensive
This restaurant is affiliated with Seward Coop grocery store. Largely organic, local food. Local beers, meats, produce. Workers paid a living wage, so tipping not needed. Any $ coming in that way goes to a philanthropic endeavor. Superb genuine cheesecakes!
First time visiting, totally enjoyed the experience. Food and service was extremely great.
Great! Community-minded cafe with good food and coffee.
Great quality, healthy food in a cool building
I'm not a vegan, but their vegan options are so freaking tasty. I love the cauliflower po'boy. The homemade donuts are like eating happy little puffy clouds and they offer vegan options as well. There is something here for everyone, vegan, vegetarian, meat eaters and gluten free.
Great food, great service.
Amazing food!
I hate to do this but I was a bit disappointed. I came for breakfast and had the lamb hash. It was pretty good, for sure, but the portion was definitely small for the price, especially for breakfast. I understand that it is lamb and lamb is pricey but it could be made up for with more of the other ingredients. Or maybe some toast. Still, it was tasty... maybe a bit oily but good flavors together. As well, the cooks could not accommodate my request for overeasy eggs but could do scrambled or one poached egg. I don't get that... The staff was very nice and helpful. The place was clean and bright. The coffee was good. I will try it again to see if it was a one-off.
Food was terrible and they were extremely slow.
The food has always been good. The portions sometime look small for the price but I always go away full just from one plate. I like that I am paying servers a fair living wage and the service has always been excellent.
Best mocha ever!
Expensive ok food. However the staff is welcoming and friendly
Quick service, real food for carnivores and vegetarians alike. The vegetarian chili fries were great.
We live just a couple blocks from here and love how community focussed it is. We are always greeted with a smile and it's nice to see the same faced from both the workers and people in the neighborhood. The prices can be high but they have great vegan and veg options so we go here often. Good study space too with a great salad bar and sometime great hot bar
$17 for a breakfast sandwich and crappy small side salad. And that's before tip. I don't get why anyone would eat here when there's better cheaper places right next door (Seward cafe). I feel scammed, what did I pay for? Consistent with the Seward coop, mediocre food for insane prices, avoid this place.
I had a hibiscus tea here on a hot summer day and it was absolutely terrible! The tea was extremely tart, bitter and simply inedible. To top it off, it had a lingering aftertaste that resembled mouthwash. Staff were slow to refill drinks, unprofessional with their mannerisms and demonstrated arrogance towards customer service/interactions.
Food was good but expensive. Small portions. Rice wasn't cooked completely. I got my meal before my drink.
Great food, co-op owned, pleasent atmosphere and pays a living wage to employees.
Great experience! Many options for gluten free and vegan food. Live music every Saturday, and wonderful staff. I couldn't be more impressed.
Serving quality food in a unique setting, the Seward coop is a natural extension of the nearby Seward Coop. Pricey as it is, the creamery is nice for an occasional meal with friends or colleagues.
Bogus chefs. Bogus line cooks. Especially Anthony.
The food is normal breakfast food. Pretty nice atmosphere but the food is very overpriced. The location is pretty trendy so I can see why it would be that way. But if you want to get a good deal you are better off elsewhere. 2 omelets and 2 Chai teas was $40.
Great vibe. Great food. Some parking available. This is a good venue for meeting up with friends or grabbing a quick bite alone.
Great food and atmosphere
Food and drinks were good, but service was inconsistent. We started with coffee and a pastry which arrived quickly. Then my wife ordered a soup to go to take to a homeless guy we'd seen. It took at least 10 minutes to show up and the place was not busy.
Tolerated three-plus tables of children and their adults pretty well
Counter service with great ingredients. A little on the expensive side but at least you are not expected to leave a 20% tip.
The food here is delicious, and I love that they use so much local food!
Good food. Friendly service. Pleasant experience.
A best coffee place in Minneapolis
Went there first week of February. Ordered the Lamb Ruben and was more thna pleased with the preparation and presentation. My co-worker had carrot soup, he also raved about the taste. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
Clean, good food.
Really good food. Servings are modest, a more healthfully sized portioned meal. Flavors are great
Loved the food, people and interior design. Lovely spot!
Everyone is so nice here and everything is delicious!
Good place to get good all organic food, But they don't have much of an option for cooked food.
Yummy and high quality options, as well as picky eater options ! Ice cream, teas, coffees, and even wines are available. I loved the burger and spicy curry veggies.
The food is quite good and service is nice and friendly. There was a very intense chemical smell by the entry. So strong I would have turned around and found somewhere else if I had been by myself. The level of virtue signaling is seems unnecessary and somewhat over the top - this is the twin cities, Minnesota - these are non-statements that requires no courage nor any thought process.
Good coffee, breakfast and bakery items, and very friendly service. Their prices might seem higher, but it's because they don't ask for tips- the worker's wages are calculated in to their prices. They also have tons of space and tables for working or for meetings, and a patio as well! Nice place in a great location.
Although it's a pretty limited menu, the burger was out of this world delicious!
Amazing food, simple and great service.
I know how they treat their staff behind closed doors. And its not well. Its a job, not a cult.
This place is great! The vegan soup was amazing. and the atmosphere is cozy without being too close for comfort. It's a great place to just stop and have coffee and a pastry, or to have a real meal. Do it!
Too pricy. I don't get this place. The food is okay, nothing special. The space is nice thou.
Cool neighborhood.
Well, it's not really a creamery-so don't go in expecting ice cream. But, it blew my mind. The servers were fabulous and fun to talk to. I had the pickled pear, arugula, local Brie and walnut pesto sandwich on the wild rice bread, and it was insane. They also had lots of fun novelty drinks and great craft beers on tap, along with local kombucha. I couldn't suggested it more. They're open for breakfast lunch and dinner. I can't wait to go back.
I enjoy the 15% discount given to members on Thursdays. Good beer selection and free Wi-Fi, tasty food and relaxed atmosphere make this a good spot to get work done.
This is my favorite place for a lovely Saturday nosh. It's great to be a CO-OP member and support such yummy food and beverages.
Vegan options! Food was good with casual atmosphere.
These folks practice living wages, and have a no tip policy. Fantastic food and you feel good supporting the folks working there. Excellent stop for any meal.
I had the fried chicken sandwich it was delicious and tasty! Price a little high. Service was ok. They weren't that friendly or incurring, quite honestly, but their service was decent, refilled my water and got me my food in a good fashion. I'd go back.
Very friendly staff. I particularly like the jerk chicken special they've had.
Nice clean place with parking at rear of building. Some menu items are a little pricey but good quality.
Great veggie hash!
Fun place.. great food
Great service, cute/open space, and awesome happy hour prices. Food was good and well. cooked/served, but nothing hit it out of the park for me. We got the $10 burger/beer/ happy hour deal which was a simple burger on par for the price. I loved that the fries were a mix of regular and sweet potato. The cauliflower buffalo bites would have been much better if they were tossed in the sauce instead of the sauce provided for dipping. Barbacoa tacos had awesome ingredients and were definitely pretty but didn’t have much flavor.
I really like their new menu. The food is delicious and the staff is super nice.
Great selection of organic food. Their Buffet is wonderful as well.
Eclectic menu with lots of options for vegetarians, vegans and gluten free folks. Nice low key atmosphere for the whole family
