Never will we order food from here again. Our school had Native America Parent involvement day, we were to have fry bread tacos and ordered the bread thru Richard. We NEVER recieved the bread and did not even get a call to let us know that he gave our bread to another school rude rude rude. We had to make the tacos with tostadas instead. VERY sad

Emm Pensa

I had an iced caramel latte and it was just too sweet. The nice perk is there's free parking.

It’s a great resource for the community but the food and service is “meh” at best. The owner seems pretty disinterested too.

Heather Strand

Small quaint coffee shop. They serve fry bread tacos on Friday. So good.

pinky da baddie

Tacos dont waste7.50 on them..the frybread has no flavor. Its hard cooked to much. The meat is old like it been sitting in crock pot all day. The meat is dry and crunchy. Worst taco i ever had. Your better off going to a powwow. Cheap with the cheese. Will only put a sprinkle such as 5 lil shredded pieces on the taco. Watch out for the white girl looking native there shes cheap when making the taco.

Great spot to grab coffee, listening to interesting community discussion and check out art at the contemporary Native art gallery that is connected to it.

Patrick Berry

There's a wonderful art gallery and this is a native owned and operated business that supports the native community and the mpls community in general. I have had the enjoyment of eating the food they donated and the coffee they donated at protests and they are a safe, positive, and inclusive force for good. They have quiche!!! The workers have jokes and tease a little and it's just where I like to go when the world has me really down to remind myself of who I really am since I live intercity and its easy to forget. Spend your money here. Please. Promise it's a nice cafe and a beautiful gallery.

The barista was friendly, made a delicious turtle mocha, and gave me wonderful customer service. He (the coffee shop) received a phone call and was about to find his manager regarding the phone call, but decided to wait until after he served me. Also, he helped me with the price of a drink when I was a few cents short on my giftcard.

A simple way to connect with and support the indigenous community. Plus the coffee is solid and there is a gallery attached.

kevin tiaden

This was a nice, small coffee shop. Not many seats. A bit minimalist. The restroom, although very clean and nice, is in the connecting business and requires a key from the counter. Coffee was good. Servers were good. Just small and not much beyond the necessities for this kind of business.

Michael Frazer

Janet Hassinger

I moved away a while back, but I used to live a block away and I have to give big ups to the place. The owner is a wonderful man with a heart for his community. Bright sunny space with chicken wild rice soup to die for.

Cooper Johns

This place is way more than a coffee shop. It's an empowering establishment for the local indigenous community. In addition to an entire art gallery that showcases indigenous artists, there are all kinds of information posted about native issues. The coffee is amazing as well. The turtle mocha will give you life!!! Whether you're an activist, a coffee enthusiast, an indigenous person or just in the neighborhood, check out pow wow grounds! You won't be disappointed!

Lou Vikler

$7 for one mediocre taco, $4.50 for a "smoothie" that was just shaved ice with some strawberry syrup. The customer service was kind of cold as well, contrary to what other reviewers have said. Maybe the coffee is good but I wouldn't go for the food.

Best iced cappuccino in the World. Okay in the 22 countries that I have visited, I have never had better coffee. Ever. Absolutely fantastic!

Joaquin Munoz

Wonderful coffee, indigenous snacks and food, and an amazing art gallery next door. One thing i love about this place is that you can purchase an "elder cup" which allows folks to come in and get coffee when they might not be able to otherwise. Their work for the Native community is amazing, which is another reason to come. And super friendly folks!

Crystal Cohen

Really nice people. Good blueberry muffin.
