Services always good. Food choices are good are buffets always fresh and services friendly

The sideboard is a sincere delight, a beacon in the wasteland of skyway lunch options. They have the meats. The flank steak, tritips and brisket are done with perfection. I enjoy the salad bar as well, with soups you will not want to miss.

Mike Ahearn

The brunch buffet was great but the service was even better.

Absolutely fantastic brunch!

The atmosphere and service was great. We enjoyed the Christmas decorations. As far as the food- my husband and I both ordered corn beef hash. While the hollandaise sauce was delicious, we were disappointed to discover that the actual corn beef seemed canned.

A really great spot for lunch in the lower level of the St. Paul Hotel. The service was friendly and attentive. I had the Crab Cake salad and was not disappointed. I especially liked the light and fruity dressing.

We were here for Mother's Day and it was incredible---the buffet had the usual breakfast items along with several hot entree selections---their hollandaise sauce was out of this world! There was another room set up for all the dessert items--the presentation was beautiful. We had breakfast the next morning before heading home and I tried their "short rib eggs benedict "which was something I had never seen before----it was just great!

I was a bit surprised that this restaurant was in a basement but then again it was the lower level of the St. Paul so of course it was amazing. As my wife and I got to the bottom of the stairs we we're warmly greated by the hostess and taken to a table for two. Once seated we were immediately greated by our server Steven who got us drinks right away. The whole time I was there I don't think I ever had less than half a cup of coffee. Since neither one of us were all that hungry we decided to split the huevos rancheros that comes with the on site made salsa. It was excellent. Between the fantastic service and excellent food, I would definitely recomend.

Went for mothers day brunch. Server was pleasant enough. Everything we had was cold. For the two of us and one child it was only $100 but I could have gotten a hot breakfast at McDonald's for $12 .

Great Sunday brunch. The omlettes tasted great, the waffles were superb. The service took a bit to fill our initial drink orders but was spot on afterwards. The only other complaint was the salmon hollandaise was dry. I'd still recommend because the prime rib was awesome.

The food was all good quality. The waffles, dessert, large shrimp and smoked salmon were nice. Skip the eggs Benedict though, if that's what you're after try The Saint Paul Grill upstairs or Meritage across the street. Only problem here is that nothing stands out, it's good as far as hotel breakfast buffets go, but not worth the price.

Fantastic downtown food in a beautiful setting. Enjoy the "Cinderella staircase" as you descend into the cafe. Great tasting food at great prices. Perfect for a business lunch. They'll validate your Lawson parking ramp ticket for two hours as well!

Easter brunch was a nightmare for us, had reservations for 4 arrived on time had to wait 15 minutes to be sat as we are looking a dining room full of empty tables, get sat in a closet like room that was too hot and crowded. Once we were sat we had to wait another 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us to even get a glass of water. The busser finally got the male host to come over and take our drink order (which we never received). When I asked if we had a server I was told Sally would be right with us. A few minutes after that I see 2 servers discussing who was going to take our table, the whole time we are just sitting there waiting for some sort of acknowledgment and our drinks. Well it turns out that Sally must not have wanted to take the table because we had sat there so long. After asking for coffee & tea for a 3rd time we finally were able to actually receive our beverages. As for the food, 3.5 stars. I definitely will not be returning for any further brunches.

My husband and I are regulars at the M Cafe in the St. Paul Hotel. The food, ambiance, and service is always first class. You can order off the menu or order the buffet. We always order the buffet as it includes omelettes made to order, waffles, sausage, bacon, prime rib, potatoes, salmon (both poached and smoked), yogurt, fresh fruit, and many choices of pastries and desserts. They coffee is hot and fresh, and the utensils are of high quality and table linens are of high quality. We also enjoy descending the elegant, curved staircase which leads from the equally elegant lobby down to the lower level.

Great place to grab breakfast at the St. Paul Hotel. They open early, at 6:30 a.m. The eggs, bacon, and sausages are prepared nicely. Toasts are very good quality breads. Pancakes have a nice flavor and are served with a dusting of powdered sugar and real maple syrup. Fresh fruit cups were ripe, fresh, and delicious. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. Coffee refills are quick and often. Your cup and belly will be full!

Best. Brunch. Ever. House smoked salmon and shrimp cocktail. Malted waffles with freshly whipped cream and berry or banana caramel sauce. Eggs Benedict that is done right. Omelets made to order. House made pastries and desserts. THIS is brunch done right.

Nancy

Check out the monthly sideboard schedule, select the day when they offer Smoked BBQ Beef Brisket so you can enjoy the Roasted Corn Succotash. I could have made meal out of that alone. Chef explained some of the ingredients of the Roasted Corn Succotash include smoked bacon and cream, so I can't bring myself to making it at home with that many calories, so it is a treat worth the calories at M. ST.

We went here for Easter brunch and not only is it beautiful, but we also had some of the best prime rib we've ever had. They had quite a spread, a piano player, and good service. We would absolutely return.
