Great little coffee shop with a ton of variety and a colorful history. Very welcoming place - and good coffee to boot! The atmosphere was open and cozy. They seem to have some outdoor seating out back, but I was in a rush and couldn't venture out. Ultimately, a great quick stop!

First time visiting ended up making visits. Got a nice fresh unsweetened green tea at 10am came back for lunch at 1:45. Very nice owner and my lunch was EXCELLENT no pics of sandwich I was so hungry from plant shopping all day. Also tried 3 desserts. The cheesecakes are great.

Tart shell wasn't good and cream inside was nothing special. Fruit on top was good and pretty. Small portion of egg bake. Good idea but I wasn't impressed

Absolutely amazing experience! Delicious teas, pastries and coffee! Enjoyed every moment out on the private patio sipping tea and enjoying the small town atmosphere! A small shop with a mind blowing experience! I work on the road, and I personally would drive many hours to experience this little place again!!!

The food and desserts are all homemade and taste delicious. The owner and staff are super friendly. Best part is that I can bring my pupper in with me. Also their outdoor patio is great. Give it a try, you'll totally enjoy it.

A great find in a small town! We stopped here on our way to Lou’s Greenhouse after I read the reviews on Trip Advisor. This place is everything you want in an independently owned coffee shop! Friendly staff have a passion for pastries and customer service. Yummy, fresh lunch options, but make sure you save room for dessert! One look at the pastries, cakes, and pies will make you agree with me! If it’s nice weather be sure to stroll through the small shop to grab a seat in the back courtyard. What a great addition to Mainstreet Ortonville!

This place is super cute! I LOVE the back patio and all the beautiful landscaping there. The service was decent enough, and the egg dish I got and the caramel roll my husband got were divine. My chai was good as well, but my husband's blended coffee drink was waaaayyyyy too sweet, so just know that before ordering. I love that we can stop here on the way to South Dakota on trips. There is really nothing coming from MN near the Cities, so we almost always have to stop at fast food places that are pretty gross if we need to eat on either way. So this is a total new favorite! However the hours would make it pretty impossible for us to get there when it's open, but knowing that it's even a possibility makes me pretty happy. :) BTW if you have any food intolerance like gluten or dairy, I'm pretty sure all their stuff has both in it, so just be aware of that. I don't expect any more from a small town SD/MN bakery, but I guess we just see it more available in the Cities. OH! And they serve things on styrofoam plates. Lose those for sure- I'm sure you could get some interesting real ones donated from friends that don't want china anymore, or have mismatched plate sets, or even just check out a goodwill. Do that for mugs too and you'll have a more intimate feel, AND help the environment.

The best spinach and feta croissant I've ever had. Fresh baked local goods and solid coffee, if you find yourself in ortonville stop in for a lazy morning of oldies and baked goods. Delicious, relaxing, right on Main Street.
