REVIEWS OF Five Watt Coffee, Kingfield IN Minnesota

Lacey K

Simply the best coffee shop in the twin cities. The staff is helpful, friendly, and charming. The coffee— from the humble americano to the latest seasonal drinks — are crafted with love and attention to detail. Even when they are crazy busy, they always have time to connect with you and make the perfect drink.

John Kasper

The kingfield is liquid gold! I always take it to go and feel guilty putting a lid on the cup. Nicollet Ave provides some tough competition but this is cream of the crop!

Dionne Sims

Specialty drinks are out of this world, and the barista was patient while we decided between them! Really love the aesthetic of this place, even though it's pretty small. They have seating outside though if you want!

cheyenne kelly-moll

People here are always so nice. Fun atmosphere, pretty hipster. All of their drinks are great, especially if you are into the whole tasting coffee in your coffee thing. There are dairy alternatives. All around a good place to go.

DJ W

The only americano I have had that is delicious all by itself! ❤️ To add anything would ruin it. PB cookie and an Americano - breakfast to smile about!

Christopher Howe

Great service and tasty drinks. There's all the coffee you'd expect and more. Stuff with bitters, not too sweet, and sometimes salty. Cold press on tap. Toast and tunes on Sundays. Tea and pastries galore. The staff here are people I would call friends. Stop in and chat!

kenji ito

Coffee is delicious. The envirornment is fantastic. It does fill up very quickly and a lot of people seem to come here to work so you might have an issue getting a seat.

Andrew Tiede

Great vibe, but always crowded and pricey

Nate Benyousky

Excellent mixed coffee drinks, cold brew, and espresso. Fine beans. Pastries from Patisserie 46, the best in town. One of the places I take visiting friends and relatives.

Taylor Tiedemann

The specialty drinks are always excellent, albeit sometimes odd-sounding. Classic drinks are equally well-done. Staff seems genuinely pleased to be at work and will offer helpful opinions on orders. Five Watt has a great neighborhood vibe.

Isaac Sanborn

I love the atmosphere. Very community minded and friendly staff.

Liisa Beckman

Sorry to say the cold press was weak and flavorless. I like to support local businesses but this was disappointing.

Desiree Yourczek

Five Watt is a favorite of mine! High quality drinks and they change up their specialty coffees seasonally. I recommend the Kingfield and anything with their lavender syrup.

Ilya Natarius

My favorite neighborhood coffee shop! All of the staff are very friendly and the space is great for working or just hanging out.

Zachary Smith

I liked the chocolate croissant

Misty Wheeler

Great coffee/drinks and chill environment plus a very awesome staff!

Stephen Weiler

This is the best espresso in this area. I stop by when I'm in for UMN parental things. Amazing every time. A must for me.

Christy Kaye

Best put, this coffee shop is a caffeine cocktail bar, sans alcohol. Creative and uniquely crafted coffee concoctions that are well thought out and delightfully delicious!

Erika Staub

First time here. Very cute space with an amazing open wall and outdoor seating. Super friendly barista made me feel like I'd been coming here for years! Will definitely come back with a book or to meet friends.

Cari Rivan

The Kingfield coffee is the best coffee I've ever had. Dont let the salt scare you - it's amazing.

Mary Jo Quay

Love this little coffee shop. Took a walk to go there for coffee, and got an amazing latte with black salt! Everyone was very friendly. A really nice neighborhood coffee shop.

Nick Magness

Great atmosphere and a killer latte. Open air front when the weathers nice

Jeffrey Bunes

Coffee is one of kind with extra friendly staff! Love this place!

Shawn Karber

I'm not a huge coffee drinker, normally only getting chai at coffee shops, but I saw the Hibernator in their menu and had to try it. Been going back regularly even though it's they minutes from my home. Worth every minute. It's sometimes a bit of a wait, but not because they're slow, it's because they're busy, read: popular--and rightfully so! Try 5 Watt and you'll never muster the energy to go anywhere else!

Wesley Butler

An excellent coffee shop with a very comfortable atmosphere and lots of natural lighting. The Americano was great and the staff seem to really know what they're doing!

Lord Jupiter

Very nice. First time there. Good coffee. Clearly very popular, quite busy when I was there. Definitely will be back.

Benjamin Beltrame

Really fun and interesting drink selection with the laid back atmosphere I want at my coffee spot

Michael Nelson

Great local coffee shop with the craft coffee, and pastries among other delicious things

Erika Peterson

Super friendly staff and top-notch coffee. Great community feel.

Teresa Morgan

I woke up this morning with my heart set on trying a paticular shop that I've been itching to get to. Much like every other time, it was closed. Apparently my cravings kick in on Mondays, the only day they aren't open. Perfect. Be that as it may, I still needed to be caffeinated or things would soon turn ugly. The hunt began - to the Yelposphere in search of plan B. What caught my attention here was the house made bitters. Intrigued, I needed to know more. Nitro brew also available... hmm... my very tolerant of my whims husband's favorite. My choice was made. I'd do this for him! (& because I really needed more input on these bitters... and black Hawaiian salt...) Seats were about 60% full, tho the majority were solos at 2-seater tables... and most were deep into the Matrix. No worries, we plopped our butts on the stage and watched - both of the guys behind the counter were surprisingly personable. It was easy to feel comfortable. On to what you really want to know. Is the coffee any good. My husband said his nitro cold brew was & he appreciated it not being full of sweeteners. As for mine, the kingfield, it was thick and creamy, with a taste as rich as the aroma. The touch of salt offset the sweetness and enhanced the flavors, adding balance and depth. The cup finished clean, no syrupy residue or unmixed settlement. Good to the last drop has an entirely new meaning! The added selection of toilet tissue was a fun touch and, obviously, a crowd pleaser. Parking can be tricky, piles of snow and limited space. Seating can be just as tricky. Totally worth a stop tho - if you like a lil craftiness.

Carin Skowronsky

Except for finding parking around the shop, this place is a delight. From their hip, friendly staff to their unique coffee drinks, it's one of my favorite coffee shops in town. The shop itself offers a welcoming and friendly "you're part of the neighborhood" type vibe. A mid day java jolt stop for sure!

Kaleb Rumicho

Great coffee, staff and space! Good place to study/get work done.

Jessica Simon

Five Watt is awesome - delicious drinks, super friendly staff, cool decorations, clean. Great place to meet up with a friend or get some work done (though note there isn't an abundance of outlets). Try the chi/cider drink. My only complaint is that sometimes the music can be a bit loud if you're trying to work, though having a conversation isn't a problem.

Nick Bauman

Staff pulls a fine shot in spite the undeserving bean quality (excessive malt taste). Service a little too laid back to my liking, but hey, they're not there to stack bills, it's ok. Just make sure you have enough time if you plan to come in on your way to somewhere else.

Sydney Sommerfeld

too expensive for size. chai tea tastes like water. but the one star is from the appearance.

David Henson

Excellent coffee. I often go out of my way to grab a cup when passing by on 35W. Seems like a good place to hang out but I am usually getting coffee to go. Great meat market/butcher next door.

Jenny Calderon

Amazing place! I never order specialty lattes but they had one with coriander bitters that sounded dreamy! Brought home their Costa Rica single origin and it's fantastic! Can't wait to come back!!! Sending love from Chicago

Zach Marino

This is an awesome little local coffee shop. The drip coffee is great. The atmosphere is vibrant and definitely a "hipster" hang out. Only tried one of the brews of coffee and it was tasty. They have multiple to choose from including a selection of other drinks and beers. They have baked goods and a small menu as well. If you are in the Minneapolis area and a coffee drinker, this is a must!! Stop on by!

James Christopher

Favorite hipster coffee. Forgot the exact name but it relates to Starfox 64 as a kid, brings back gaming memories.

Chris Faison

This place is the bee's knees!

Sumayyah Beck

I really only come here for the monthly 555 Reading Series, but the drinks are good/unique, the space is cozy but modern, and the staff is friendly and just awesome.

michu Dabala

the people are great and patient with newbies

Ben Wageman

Good coffee, service could be better

Andrew Djuplin

pretty unique coffee shop, very cool atmosphere

Agustin Bernaudo

Good coffee, great service!

Hai Ngo

Good coffee + free refills on their drip coffee! Reasonably priced.

William Lakey

Great coffee, can usually find a place to sit. There's a garage door that opens in good weather and let's in a pleasant breeze.

Karl Narveson

A neighborhood gem. A great space for meeting friends or hanging out Try the fancy coffee drinks.

Eli Johnson

This place is a gem. Their "coffee cocktails" are unique and delicious. The regular coffee is fantastic. I'd highly recommend buying their beans.

K Hyde

Meh. The coffee cocktails are ok, but the standard fare is just ok. The cappuccino was way too milky.

Anita Motolinia

Five Watt is a must visit place. Caleb is a coffee genius-the coffee drinks are unique and delicious!

Brianna Jean

LOVED this place. Amazing coffee, cool atmosphere, and awesome employees. Check this place out!!

Anthony Coppola

The coffee was bonkers good. We got an Ethiopian bag to bring home with us. One of the best bags of coffee we've ever gotten. The man who worked there was affable and knowledgeable. I'd rate him 5 stars too.

Rey Cavazos

Nice people good coffee!

Clay Meighen

Best matcha in the world. Beautiful barista kind setting ✌️

Jack Hays

The best.

Krista Davis

Holy amazing coffee! I travel a lot and one of my favorite things to check out are local coffee shops so I have experienced my fair share and this is by far one of the best. I just moved to Minneapolis and happened to move a block down from this coffee shop. I went and to check it out not knowing its already great reputation. The coffee is amazing and the service is just as great! Everyone is SO friendly here!! It is a dangerous thing for me to be living so close. Check them out! You will not be disappointed!!!

Emmy Kegler

This place is PHENOMENAL. Great service and incredible drinks every time.

Pavel Ushakov

One of my favorite coffee shops in South Minneapolis. Always best tasting coffee (hot or cold), my favorites are Kingfield (hot) and Gin Basil Smash (cold). Staff is always nice too. Can't go wrong there, highly recommended.

Andrew Heisz

Loved the coffee

Will Dinski

Best coffee in town. Best staff. As a someone who lives in the neighborhood, I wish I could get a seat at anytime other than within hours of opening the doors.

Jay Graham

A favorite Minneapolis coffee shop of mine with delicious and original options and decent prices. A must try. Their chai latte is amazing as well.

Tom Meckey

This is a great coffee shop. Great decor and good cold brew. Location is awesome as well.

hannah johnson

DELICIOUS COFFEE! I'm an out of town guest and wish I lived closer just to come here more often. Went on a busy, Saturday morning and was still able to get lots of work done while enjoying my privacy and latte. 10/10!

Suzanne Hanle

Good coffee, small tables. Very busy on a Saturday afternoon!

Sheila Cole

Always packed, and it's for good reason. Great coffee and staff.

Kendall Schneider

Best iced vanilla latte I've ever had.

Nick Anderson

Maple syrup in some coffee- what more could you possibly want?

Dustin W

One of my favorite coffee shops! Lots of ingenuity here with a great atmosphere! Drinks are quick and they taste amazing every time I try something new. Wish there were more around but I guess I'm that much richer. It can be a bit more expensive but always worth the trip.

Chad Haldeman

Very good, nice atmosphere, good coffee!

Liz Veaderko

Love when they open their garage door! Innovative drinks!!

Phillip Christenson

Interesting unique, and tasty coffee drinks. Very bohemian atmosphere.

Taylor Miles

Cute, quirky. Fun. Menue does not have much for non-coffe drinkers. However. The prices are reasonable. Would be a great place to study. They also have unique drinks so they stand out from the crowd.

Deepak Kumar

Nice place a and authentic coffee...some delicious their own house coffee...check them out...Great hospitality and nice ambience !!! Loved it ...near the down town ...!!

Amy Berge

AMAZING coffee and super nice staff. They're all one million times cooler than I am but they don't act like it. There's a reason everyone loves this shop.

Aaron Gruenthal

Solid coffee shop with interesting flavors and a chill atmosphere. I really want to give this place four stars because the service was so good—the gentleman at the register was willing to give me some great recommendations of things to do while I was in Minneapolis—but, when I compare it to other coffee shops that I frequent in Illinois, I had to bring the rating down to three stars because the roast I got in the bag was darker than the employee led me to believe. Great place if you like unique flavors, but, for purists, it’s just a little above mediocre.

K M

Love their coffees! Their fusions are amazing.

First Business

The best grilled bagel in town, been back multiple times, after it appeared in a dream or two.

Elisha Montgomery

Awesome coffee. I especially love their drinks made with cold press. Everyone I've had has been amazing.

Sheila Franchuk

Perfect cappuccino.

Uncle Bacon Face

Great drinks! I have a hard time deviating from the Kingfield, it’s really the gold standard of craft coffee if you ask me.

Alexis Bianchi

Very nice service and good coffee choices. I got the cortado, and loved it. Perfect milk, espresso ratio.

Paul Manoppo

Good and hot coffee, fast service.

Yasmin Banishoraka

Great employees and great coffee.

Michael Barthelmes

My favorite coffee in Minneapolis!

Joseph Kavanaugh

Five Watt is good coffee with hipster vibes. The coffee is unusual but excellent. I had on Ethiopian coffee that tasted like Earth and fungus. Sounds terrible but it was actually good. Because nothing says hipster coffee like overtones of Earth and fungi. The staff is friendly and will attend to your every coffee preference. The artisan goods in the back are expensive. Go to Five Watt for a good brew or two.

alec black

Great service, fast, good coffee, and rock music. Can't complain one bit

Andrew Zabel

Great local coffee shop. Although I think they put extra caffeine in their coffee, so watch out. But great quality everything!

Kyle Wright

Coffee here is good. The atmosphere is great Prices are high

Marty Flanagan

Best Coffee in MN - friendly encouraging team of people!

Murali Javvaji

Very cool and cute one. Not lots of varieties but interesting menu. Only thing lacking is they dont have medium only small and large not sure its same in all coffee shops. Been here couple of times, and staff is very good.

Melissa Adkins

One of the best coffee shops in the Twin Cities. You might have to wait a while to get your drink, but that’s because they’re carefully making it taste wonderful. I wish the store was larger, but that’s not a quick fix! The espresso machines are gorgeous and the double walled to-go cups are great. Five Watt is a treasure.

Hans Loven

World-class espresso drinks. Seriously. My wife and I seek out the best coffee shops everywhere we go, and this place easily ranks in the top echelon. A simple cappuccino or latte here is a dream--pronounced and complex flavors, yum! The staff are always friendly, and the drinks are always prepared to same high standard.

Josh Feland

great service. great coffee.

Mr. Compton

Small, but if you can get a table it’s very cozy. The drinks are unique, creative, and often exceed expectations.

Ivy Houser

Excellent place for drink

Emily Winters

My favorite coffee shop in Minneapolis FOR SURE. Super friendly staff, cool atmosphere, good music, and their drinks are delicious. They make my favorite matcha in the Twin Cities--Kung Fu Generation, and I've tried A LOT.

A Boerum

Great place! Relaxing Sunday spot where I was able to catch up on work. Decent black iced tea.

Daniel Dickerson

This place is very aesthetically pleasing, ataractic, and a solid place to come to do busy work. The employees are very kind and generous, and serve guests with a lovely smile. I would recommend this coffee shop to anyone in desire of a warm drink to keep them awake, a small pastry to satisfy a small appetite, or a place to set up shop up shop and take care of homework, computer work, or any busy work that needs all of ones focus. Also, they have public restrooms.

David Plourde

Versatile shop that can give simple cup of coffee as easily as a badass Nitro cold brew. Great spot to work. Plenty outlets. In the summer they throw open a giant door and you are basically working outside

Seth C

Over-crowded and over-priced. I've been here 3 or 4 times and there is never a place to sit. Very small space and crowded. Coffee is fine, but pretty high priced. Not worth trying to wrestle people for a place to sit, chat, or work.

Joe Reicherts

The drinks are AMAZING. One of a kind. They use a large spectrum of bitters, which equals unparalleled unique flavors. My only wish is that the place was bigger. The few tables fill up pretty quick. And, while they have a small selection of scones and miscellany, a few more snack options would be nice.

Brenda Llapa

Its pretty hipster-ish. Its not very big, but I would recommend this place to do homework as its not incredibly loud. I would not recommend doing big group projects here though as the tables are pretty small. I'd say that having dates here would be perfect due to the cozy environment.

lucas fenwick

Employees here are great. I got helped by girl named Kori and I must say it was a very pleasant experience. Cheerful, great greeting, and made that coffee perfect! 10/10 coffee house

Jessie VerBout

Great coffee and the PB cookie is ah-maz-ing!!!

Fleeks Fleeksfleeks

best coffee shop ever, especially their coldpress are awesome!

Ashley Bastin

Great coffee and staff

David Speidel

Great little place with good coffee and nice staff

Ameet Kamath

Delightful coffee, always. A tab bit expensive but worth it.

Isaac Permann

One of my favorite places for coffee

Michael Fleming

Ok local coffee shop, although its hype is hard to live up to. The service crew seems a bit distracted at times. And there’s plenty of the typical table hoarding by those who nurse a single cup for hours that annoys so many of us who just want to enjoy our coffee and move on. The pastry is not really superior, but a reasonable selection was to be had. I’d return if I was in the area, but not for a special trip.

Greta Z

Holy heck I sure do drink a lot of coffee and this place took my breath away. Great atmosphere and cool service. Genuinely impressed.

Jin Guu

Definitely good vibe, but a bit noisy and too warm

Karrie Kledehn

My FAV coffee place!! The coffee, whichever one you choose, whether it be drip, iced, one of their fab creations, or your very own creation.......IT IS "CRACK IN A CUP" good!! And I love Ezra! Well.....I love everybody there!! ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Anthony Trinh

Nathan was awesome and knows his coffee.

Patrick Daniels

The legal greatest coffee shop in the country. Delicious and creative choices as well as fantastic brewed

Virendra Soni

Wonderful lovely cafe with good option for cold press coffee. Seems popular with students and professionals alike. Though not many options to eat, wish they had sandwiches.

Kati Holland

I have high standards for lattes, and I love trying them at random local spots when I travel. Problem is.. It's so hard for me to find one that beats my favorite from the espresso truck in my hometown.. But Five Watt is the bomb. I adored my drink and the quality of espresso. The vibe and service didn't hurt either. My friend got one of their specialty drinks, Star Fox, and enjoyed his, too. Great spot to stop in and get a warm brew for sure.

Lawrence Young

Decent coffee (I've had better), very clean, with a great vibe and lots of energy. I love working on my laptop next to the big open window in the afternoons with a delicious bagel in hand. If you're looking for something a bit different this place is worth a try.

George Miller

Nice coffee. Great service

Joel Anderson

Super nice staff! Got the Star Fox 64. Great beverage!

Ferrel Xavier

Great coffee shop. The people are nice and the coffee is good. Just wish they had couches.

Israel Aranda

Nice friendly staff and nothing extraordinarily differenent of what an over priced coffee shop is in the U.S.

Cindy Wold

I said "I just want a good cup of coffee," and was presented with their standard brew. It was wonderful. They also have a creative menu of unique concoctions I chose to bypass for now.

Alarka Sanyal

Really nice coffee. They have some funny names for the coffees and drinks but if you are looking for something you can always ask and they will recommend you the best. Has a nice place to sit outside too if you wish. The service was really fast and the coffee tasted good. I will be back to try a few different things from the menu!

Abigail Mannelin

This coffee shop is just far enough from, and close enough to, my house to make it a good walk destination. Also near the hardware store and the co-op for multi-tasking trips. They have your standard drinks but also creative specials that incorporate unusual flavors, including cocktail bitters. Only downsides is that it is a small space so you can’t always get a table, not a lot of snack options, and it’s a little on the more expensive side.

Stephani Pescitelli

One of the first places I went in Minneapolis and still one of my faves. I biked there out of my way this morning before my 7am serving shift and the barista was generously patient and gentle with my grumpy fog brain. Bless him. And bless those deliciously creative concoctions. I’m the worst coffee snob and know that I’ll never be disappointed/bored/sad at five watt. Just go there. And plan on getting at least two drinks because you can’t and shouldn’t have to choose just one. Xo.

matthew gregg

Thanks for being the best coffee shop in minneapolis.

Clint Weathers

Residency is the best blend in the Twin Cities right now. Add an awesome jazz combo Sunday mornings for bonus points.

Christine B

Loved it! Amazing coffee, and atmosphere.

Stefan Green

Tasty coffee, so tasty that it’s hard to find a seat.

Cody P

My favorite coffee shop in Minneapolis. Unique "mixed" coffee drinks with all kinds of flavors, and fun hotspot of the neighborhood.

Rick Olson

Five Watt is located on a main street, so finding it isn't too difficult. The sign is somewhat small, so look for the open garage door wall and all the people sitting on their laptops enjoying some REALLY GOOD coffee! The staff is very friendly and makes the experience worth the stop. Wifi connection was smooth with no buffering.

Sean Wright

Very lively and noisy, if that's the type of environment you like to work in than this is the place for you. They have many unique. Baristas are attentive and very knowledgeable. One down side is the price of the specialty drinks. I had to give them three dollar signs because I've never heard of such ostentatious prices! I wouldn't go as far as saying the the toilet paper rolls in the bathroom are something to check out, ha ha ha!

Paul Tiegs

The coffee is delicious and on Sunday mornings they have a guy playing a Hammond B3 organ. You can't beat that.

Rachel Walker

Pleasant busy bee atmosphere! It was packed Saturday afternoon but in the best way

Sean Nykaza

Easily my favorite coffee shop in the entire city. House made bitters, fresh ingredients, and locally roasted coffee beens makes this place unrivaled in the breadth and taste of their offerings. Quaint and laid back, you'll be hard pressed to find a shop offering the quality and creativity of Five Watt. If you are hungry, be sure to pick up any of the bakery items made fresh by Patisserie 46. Simply a must for all coffee lovers.

Josiah Thompson

Don't expect fast service. And there's not a lot of seating. But it's always a delicious beverage and the folks behind the bar are chill and friendly. Get the specialty lattes.

Dee Hussein

I sometimes grab coffee early in the morning on my way to work. They're nice especially that early in the morning. I usually get the Kingfield with oat milk, I highly recommend it!

Joyce Norman

Delicious coffee, great scones, warm atmosphere.

Steven Livingstone

Good espresso coffee, strong. Cool vibe, lots of seating, free wifi. Good place to study with a coffee. My cappuccino was decent, a tad bitter (over-extracted). Overall, a good coffee shop that pulls a decent shot, would recommend.

Edwardo Ander

One of the best coffee shops in Minneapolis and Minnesota in general.

Shad Owen

I love that they don't try to cater to every taste and even if you have particular taste you're still sure to find something good on the menu. I was most surprised they have alternative milks for those who are lactose intolerant or who prefer to not consume dairy. Coffee is excellent, coffee art in your cup is amazing, baristas are outstanding. This place unabashedly has its own vibe and puts it forward with no gimmicks. It's a serious coffee shop for people who appreciate hand crafted quality espresso and the good things that accompany it; served with urban style and a high degree of sophistication. .

Elizabeth Terry

Always greeted with the best attitudes! Sometimes the lattes could have more flavor but their service makes up for it. Love it there! Will be incredibly busy on a Sunday and somehow they manage to make it fun.

Duane Lenander

This was an amazing coffee experience. We went on a Sunday morning so they had a toast bar and some live music. The coffee options were great and the staff we're helpful and knowledgeable. Best of all the staff we're all super friendly and we're enjoying their jobs which made it a great experience.

Jason Butler

I was there in April, so this review is pretty late. But after talking with new co-workers from the area who have never heard of it, I figure I'll write something about it. This is the local coffee shop you want to go to if you're going to Minneapolis. Their coffee is great with cool themes (such as the "Big Easy" with chicory as an homage to New Orleans, or "The Hibernator" with honey to draw an allusion to bears and honey like with Winnie the Pooh). Also, the staff is great to talk to and on nice days the front of the store opens for you to peer outside. Check it out!

James Martinek

Great service & great coffee!!

Christopher Gill

Excellent cold brew and nitro! Garage door opens on nice days.

Queenie Cheung

I decided to come here because it was rated as one of the best coffee shops in Minneapolis, so of course, the traveler in me has this "thing" where i like to go to local coffee shops to buy coffees i like to bring home to make in Toronto. This is no exception either. The place was buzzing with activity when i walked in. Loved the look and ambience of the cafe, and they also have a patio area for guests to sit on. There's wifi for those who wish to work off their laptops and the noise level is pretty good. I decided to try one of their cold drinks since it was a hot day and it did not disappoint! cold brew was great!! their drinks you can tell they def. put thought into it and it's super creative. their coffee here is definitely very good, and they do have a few options - i chose their darkest roast and bought a bag of it to bring home - excited to try making some expresso/coffee with these beans :) the baristas are also helpful in explaining about their beans and also their drink selection. Anyone who is in town should DEFINITELY check out this place!!!

Jenny Taber-Hanson

Coming back here to elaborate on my review four months later. I think this is a great coffee shop with great quality drinks and an inventive bunch of house specialty concoctions. Its quality naturally means that seating does run out fast and you may need to have some patience to score a spot. I work from here about once a week, though, and find the crowd really laid back and accommodating if you're up for sharing a table with a stranger or packing in along one of the two bars. If you need dead quiet and guaranteed seating, this is just not going to regularly pan out that way. It is, though, really good at delivering a great atmosphere and great coffee.

Louie Bertoncin

Great atmosphere and the Tim Curry latte is by far the most interesting and delicious latte I've ever had!

James Ferguson

Love everything about Five Watt Coffee. The staff is genuinely friendly and are always pleased to see you. The atmosphere is lively with that cozy neighborhood feel. And the coffee is amazing!

Zachary Zabloski

Pricey but totally worth it. It's a nice spot to hang out for a coffee or take it to go.

Amy Mullenmeister

Good coffee, and it's usually on the quite side so a nice place to get some work done.

Jasmine Jackson

Thought a small at almost $6 was pretty overpriced given the fact they don't even carry a caramel syrup, they "usually" don't this or that, and the coffee is pretty mediocre. However the staff was friendly, that counts for something....I guess.
