The maple latte is magical. It has the perfect amount of sweetness. Not overwhelming like you'd get at a chain. The owner and staff are great and they are really good at sourcing, roasting and brewing fantastic coffee. Any time I'm passing through or staying in Lutsen, this place is a required stop or two, or three.

Don’t let the outside fool you as a trading post style vibe, they have the best Iced Mocha’s I’ve ever tasted. They use some sort of chocolate powder, and the price of 6.80 is so worth the amazing goodness of this drink. The staff are friendly, the one bathroom is clean, and plenty of space to soak up a mocha, coffee or drink of your choice. To anyone visiting the north shore this is a great spot for an early morning pick me up, not to be missed!

We stopped for gas and were so pleasantly surprised by this charming little coffee shop. The interior is very clean and smells AMAZING since they roast their own coffee right behind the counter. There's not much for seating--only a couple tables and a few barstools--but most people get their coffee to go. The staff was very friendly, their merch is cute, and the coffee is great--SO FRESH. Thank you for introducing me to the Swedish concept of fika! I will definitely be back the next time I'm around Lutsen.

I love this little place. A little pricey, it's true. But everything that they serve is top quality. For instance, if your order the iced mocha (which I recommend) you don't get chocolate flavored sugary syrup in it like everywhere else. You get actual shaved chocolate. High quality chocolate at that. The maple latte is full of actual maple syrup. It's worth it. Your taste buds will thank you

"Smile...there's coffee." First greeted by this happy little sign outside the "Swedish" coffee shop which is pronounced "fee-ka." Very kind, friendly & knowledgable staff. We had Americanos & Maple Lattes...I esp enjoyed mine hot, very smooth (others in our party also enjoyed their's iced). They roast their own beans, have Bonavita coffee makers & hot water tea kettles as well as tees, coffee mugs & recipe books for sale. They are a unique, privately owned, family run biz. Would stop again.

Fika is a quaint little coffeeshop, perfect for locals and visitors to Lutsen. Their coffee is reasonably priced and has great flavor. Their whole beans are a little expensive $16/12oz. Definitely worth going for some on frills coffee.

Blueberry Scones are to die for! Not a huge coffee drinker, but the service and friendliness of the staff is great. Josh is very good at what he does and is very generous with his resources. He is definitely making the world a better place to live on so many levels. Really great to see young families fulfilling their dreams and giving back to the community. Great small coffee shop! We highly recommend the mocha and donuts. Limited seating inside so go early if you plan on hanging around but there is also some benches outside and some patio chairs sound the corner. Great place to stop in the morning before you start you adventures along the North Shore!

We were staying in a nearby lodge for a wedding weekend. We all needed coffee badly! Josh was super helpful! He brewed a fresh pot of coffee to fill a carafe. The coffee is so fresh and smooth. He roasts the beans onsite. His story of entrepreneurship is inspiring and I encourage you to order his coffee on his website, or stop into his shop in Northern Minnesota.
