The coffee is consistently fantastic. I think pour overs are what they do best. From my observation, Dogwood is primarily focused on the quality of their beans, so getting a straight coffee/espresso is my recommendation to best experience what they do. Their lattes are still super good, nothing wrong with them. But places like Five Watt, who treat their lattes like high quality cocktails, are where I’d go if I’m feeling a latte. As far as the space goes, it’s one of the coolest places to hang out or get work done. High end furniture, super open and vibey, and soon they’ll have a big outdoor patio.

This Northeast Minneapolis Arts District border town is the epitome of an insouciant hipster utopia. Completely casual, friendly and lacking any unfortunate airs of pretension, which they would be completely licensed to as their coffee is fantastic. Christa is a brilliant barista who makes you feel like you just returned to your hometown cafe, even if it's your first time gracing the establishment. The artsy interior betrays, yet compliments, it's initial back alley feel - and with ample parking - makes the whole experience well worth your time.

NEW coffee shop in NE!! Had the spumoni latte, which was fantastic! Great to see Dogwood has leveled up again! Plenty of really cool seating, and an epic ping pong table furnish this great new location. Great parking, and easy handicap accessible entry. A really cool spot to spend a few minutes, or hours. Atmosphere is excellent, chill, casual, and friendly.

Very good coffee, some of the best I had in the past year. I was happy to see this place was busy because it deserves to be. The staff was friendly and the environment was welcoming. They have a ping pong table if you want to get a game in too. Minneapolis is lucky to have a place like this.

Kid friendly, co-working, forward-thinking, civil-minded, chic and thoughtful all come to mind when visiting this stunning space. Plus the coffee tastes as good or better than nearby spyhouse while being considerably cheaper. This is now my favorite coffee shop in the region.

Awesome space! Got in early which wasn't too busy. Tried to go about a week ago and it was packed with no place to sit. Had the hot chocolate as I'm not much of a coffee person but I love the spaces. Very very good hot chocolate! Will be back again!

Extra points for indoor layout. What an amazing coffee roaster and shop. Little cubicles perfect for working with outlets. Good for concentrating while still being in an upbeat environment. Ping pong table, sofas, and spacious outdoor seating. Cortado was tasty. Milk steamed at good temperature. They were out of pastries when I got there which was a bummer. Carbonated water on tap is a plus. Spotted a couple of flies which doesn’t seem hygienic, but not a big deal. Would visit again. If it’s to work or hang out with friends, make sure to stop by and give it a try

So happy Dogwood is here! Their roasts have always been my local favorite, always smooth and never bitter or metallic. The space they've created is very modern but comfortable. The staff is so nice and welcoming. The lattes here are my favorite because they know how to flavor them without feeling like you are drinking straight syrup. They have their own parking lot as well with tons of space. I'm looking forward to their patio this summer!

I liked this place. I came here for a 30 minute meeting, and ended up staying all morning to work. Modern style space with a lot of open space making you feel like you're not sitting on top of the other people. I'm not a coffee drinker, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of other things than coffee to drink. I had one of their kombuchas. I would definitely come here again to work or to meet up with a friend!

This is one of the best coffee shops in the Twin Cities for those of us that enjoy working at a cafe. The shop is bright and spacious and has wonderful art painted everywhere. It’s in a prime location and has tons of parking available! We’ve been here a few times and even though it’s a long drive for us (30+ minutes) we will definitely be returning soon. All of the Dogwood shops in the Twin Cities area are great places to work and relax. They have a welcoming environment.

My experience was not great. The matcha was expensive and not great, and was surprised that the chocolate croissant wasn't heated up. It was also underwhelming, not very good. The overall vibe of the place is like office cubicles. I know people love this place, but it wasn't for me.

I ordered the subscription service. Advanced single origin coffee paired with awesome customer service. Have to update review to 2 stars. I spoke on the phone to set up another subscription, was lied to by staff who did not follow through on their word. They keep a star for amazing coffee but honesty in a business is huge to me and my rating

Holy moly this place is BEAUTIFUL. Dogwood has an amazing aesthetic that is part art, part playground, part workstation. Lots of space to sit and work, or to sit and relax. Or play table tennis! Big windows mean lots of light, and i love that the music was just the right amount of loud. Oh, and the coffee? Amazing. Just too good! My Americano was so good, i didn't even add cream or sugar, which you almost always have to do because of bitterness. The barista made it PERFECTLY. Come! Drink coffee here! You'll be glad you did.

Great place to study/work! Similar to an airport there are a lot of booths with outlets at most each one. They also have couches and "comfy" seating areas to meet friends. and a room with pingpong (?). The zamboni cold brew is FANTASTIC, hints of what my not-refined palate would call chocolate. I'll definetly be coming back, excited for nice weather when the garage door will be open!

The quality of people make this place truly comfortable to come back to, high quality coffee is an exhausting game to play but the staff here weekday mornings keeps it so cool...like they're genuinely not annoyed you're there in line. Great place to work on things! The music seems to always be jammin, but it’s never been too loud. The staff has always been super friendly. The windows make it bright and feel like we are outside even when it is cold out. Their drinks are good and they have a variety from coffee (obviously) but also a selection of non coffee things such as teas and kombucha on tap.

Tons of booths you're almost guaranteed a spot. Each booth has at least two outlets, so you will be able to charge your devices. If you don't want to sit in a booth there are so many other couches and chairs you can sit in too that are very comfy. On days with nice weather they will open the garage doors and let the breeze roll through. There's a ping pong room, and the bathrooms are themed. On top of all of this, the coffee is supreme. Please go to this shop. You will NOT regret it.
