Great neighborhood diner. Good food for a fair price. Staff is always friendly. Love their burgers with the grilled onions. They're as bit bigger then a typical slider, but you'll want two or three. Or get their 5X5 burger which is like a third pounder. Great breakfast served all day.

I have never been to this location until now. But, I have to say that it was absolutely amazing. Each one of our meals were great. Fresh ingredients, homemade stuff. Also, amazing service. It was so good, we went back the very next day. I highly recommend this location.

I haven't been here in awhile but the original burger was delish.....I still have memories from when I was a kid and my dad would take us to the Travis on Gratiot btwn 14 &15 mile road. It's a used car dealership now but it was the best!

My friends dad chicken was cold, waitress was slow as hell. If u like chilli fries dont get it here if u dont like beans in it and chunks of meat in chillie then dont get that

Food is always good, service is good, and the atmosphere is very cozy. They do a great job decorating around the holidays. We've been going here for years. I would give it 5 stars if the service was a little faster. It often takes a lot longer than it should for diner food, but it's made well once it comes.

Went in for a late breakfast, ordered blueberry pancakes, they were a little undercooked. Ordered cheeseburgers to go and they warmed up really well. I liked them better than Telway and brays. Will be back for the burgers!

I dined there with my mother about 4 this afternoon. I ordered a coffee, iced tea and a diet coke, it took almost ten minutes to get our drinks. I would understand if the restaurant was busy, but not when I was one of four tables total. The server took our order, myself the veal, which I was told you did not have any of. So I asked for the restaurants pot roast. When our dishes came to the table, I did not receive pot roast instead I got meatloaf. I don't like wasting food and I was hungry, so I started to eat it.. The server was told that I was allergic to dairy products. Halfway through eating the meatloaf I noticed that a white stringing substance. I asked the server what it was and I was told it was cream of mushroom. Do they not understand that CREAM is dairy? My stomach was already turning and I just wanted to get out of the restaurant. I asked if the Apple pie a la mode was hot, the server said yes. My Mother was going to eat the ice cream while I had the warm apple pie... It came to me cold. I asked for it to go, I had felt severe discomfort from the meatloaf, I never received any refills and was not asked if I wanted more to drink even though our glasses were empty. I've dined several times at this location, I don't know what changes your restaurant has made, but I suggest that you re-evaluate. When your staff stops caring for the welfare of it's patrons, your going to loose business.

Hamburger bun was too soft, needed more sauteed onions. The Onion Rings were very good. Fresh hand dipped taste and crunch. Dinning room was too cold. Caused the food to get cold quickly.

Fast friendly service. Great food .. Service with a smile. The only thing i don't like is the first 3 booths when u walk in the door, the servers hand your food over the side with the set-ups, ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, etc.. I only wish theyd walk around and serve u from the open side. Maybe its just me bc i used to manage a restaurant, but i feel like it portrays a level of laziness. (Not so much when its busy, everyone cuts corners to save a few steps then). But all in all, i love the people that work there. Great job Janet!

Great burgers especially for the price! Cooked well and tons of flavor. I like the somewhat thinner buns so there is a lot less bread per bite. Really makes the burger stand out. Perfectly cook fries as well! Great place!

I love Travis and go there a lot. They’re sort of known for their sliders which is what I usually get with cottage fries. The waitresses are really friendly, they have pretty much everything you could imagine on the menu and the service is usually fast unless they’re really jammed. Seating is mostly booths and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you’re in the mood for a great burger and fries give them a try.
