I normally do not shop at Somerset generally because it's a higher end mall and I personally do not spend very much money on clothing or shoes. However, I received a gift from a friend that was purchased from Somerset. The item was a pair of shoes (too small). Upon exchanging my gift I had no problems at all. The sales aassociates were pretty busy for a Monday and serviced me as quickly as she could. Maybe thats normal for a Monday. Seemed a little short staff but I think I received good customer service considering the situation. Overall, not bad in my opinion.

Typical Nordstrom! Somerset opens at 7:00A the weekend before Christmas. Most stores are either open then or by 9:00. Nordstrom still won’t open until 10:00A. Luckily there’s stores open I was able to complete my Christmas shopping at without having to spend a dime at Nordstrom! Business must be good to miss out on all that morning shopping!

I had a Nordstrom online return to do yesterday evening. The woman helping me at the quick service station was super helpful and friendly. The return was easy. I then went up to the third floor to look around. I wandered in the women's area for 10 minutes, not one person asked if I needed help. Not a huge problem, as I didn't really see anything or have questions. I then went to the lingerie department. Again, never approached. I had grabbed 4 things to try on and had to seek someone out to open a fitting room. I then tried on the the things. I needed a different size. No one ever came to the room to check on me. I had to get fully dressed again to go grab a few more things. Pretty irritating. This was near 7 pm. The store wasn't dead, but it also wasn't busy. Needless to say, I went elsewhere. I love Nordstrom and usually the staff is so friendly and helpful, but makes me want to stick to Nordstrom online.

Found an amazing sales associate in the Encore department. She was happy to take half the store back to the fitting room. She found my friend a seat and a coffee. She was patient, friendly and still smiling at the end where I remarkably found several different looks to purchase. Usually I give Nordstrom high marks but today left me irritated. I tried to use a gift card for 2 buys. The first buy good, 2nd buy bad. On buy #2 tried to use $10 dividend, the salesperson missed it, voided transaction. Went thru 2nd time but now gift card no good until void clears. If you can take it off my card in a minute, you should be able to replace it quickly too.

I am now a Nordstrom fan instead of Macy's. Macy's lookef like a bomb went off. Every department had a clothing everywhere, all over the floors, hangers all over the floor. Boxes of Legos all over the floor in the children's department. Trip hazard! For the prices they charge, this is completely unacceptable.

I've always heard that Nordstrom has an amazing return policy. However, this particular store does not seem to adhere to the corporate POV. Today I tried to make a return from a purchase I made a few years ago and was denied. The item was broken and I was told I could either buy a replacement out right (no credit or return/exchange credit) or I could just call the manufacturer of the product myself and have it fixed in my own. I even had the original receipt & original packaging. Very disappointed in my experience at the Somerset Collection Nordstrom store.

Disaster! It looks like a Target. You walk in and the first thing you see is racks and racks of customer pick up boxes and bags. It looked like the Post Office. The shoe department has NO inventory. There are racks of mixed clothing everywhere. Not sure what Nordstrom is trying to become? A mail order only or a Target with carpet.

Very poor experience in shoe department. This new system with taking a ticket and waiting in line is very poor. Waiting time is longer and it feels more like a grocery line in supermarket. I used to enjoy going to Nordstrom, but not anymore. It feels more like Macy's now, which is sad.

Always a staple, I count on Nordstrom for everyday essentials from head to toe, and each layer, for my young daughter and I. Customer service is generally great, although some sales people at the Somerset location can tarnish the brand a bit. You retailers are all in competition with each other. Who's ever better stays on top. And keeps theres doors open. You guys can afford to sweeten things up for customers, you mark up things enough as it is.
