Took my 7 year old nephew to catch Pokemon on Otsegos adorable little main street today. He was so pumped but was a little chilly so I walked into the coffee house on the corner and ordered him a hot chocolate. The barista (Maria was her name) was so sweet and helpful :) he loved it! She even put Christmas sprinkles on! Definitely coming back with him next time I come to catch Pokemon with him!

This is one of the best coffee shops in Michigan, if not the Midwest. The staff is friendly and the service is great! Every time I'm in the area visiting family, I try to stop and grab a hot beverage. I've never had a drink I didn't like. The fresh scones are absolutely delicious! There is a decent size sitting area consisting mostly of low top tables with standard chairs, a few high tops in the window seating and there are some armchairs as well.

***This review is based on their coffee only.*** How delightful to have an artisan coffee shop in Otsego, a tiny little town that's had some tough times in recent years. The factories and mills may have closed, but Mezzo has emerged and is serving great coffee. I've had a few offerings, including a flavored latte and their drip offerings, both were very good. I recommend their Miel, but be warned it will make you a honey addict. I did eat their food and it was ok, not great, just ok. But I haven't tried their sweet offerings yet, I intend to next time I am back in my "hometown." Keep pouring, Mezzo!

I really liked my iced coffee because 1, it was delicious, and 2, they had coffee ice cubes as an option! Of course I got them and it helped when the drink was almost gone, instead of being watered down, it still tasted like coffee. The young woman who helped me pick out a yummy flavor to add was REALLY nice. She made me feel welcomed and didn't seem annoyed when I wasn't sure what flavors to get.

I can't say enough about how great Mezzo Coffee House is. The machines and the business itself are very clean. The service is phenomenal. The owner Sue is very warm and inviting. I'm always disappointed to see gendered single-use bathrooms in this day and age but it's to be expected from small-town Michigan, I guess. Two unisex bathrooms would be more welcoming to people of all genders.

Today, I just finished up a really cold run that ended at the corner of M89 and Farmer in Otsego, As I was waiting for my wife to pick me I saw that Mezzo was closed, but I noticed a couple of girls walk out with drinks. I love mental coffeehouse the smoothies are the best and they also have a lot of food and muffins and cupcakes and there's a shop next door the wait isn't for is average for your average coffee shop and it is mostly quiet and there are tables a place for you to sit there is also bathroom and you can buy things in the shop next door that are very unique and have Michigan things Michigan the states not the team I hope you have a good time because I did and I love the smoothies

I should first say, I LOVE Mezzo. They know exactly what they're doing when it comes to coffee. Their service is top of the line and their coffee is to die for(especially the signature drinks) they even go as far as adding seasonal drinks with the coolest and most unique names and flavors imaginable. and let's not forget about their amazing pastries and lunch items like sandwichs and such, in their awesome and cute little display case. I seriously come in almost everyday. You walk in and you experience a different atmosphere! I no longer feel like I'm in Otsego when i come in(which I enjoy) I feel as though I'm somewhere like a Seattle coffee shop, it's the best feeling ever. This place is literally therapy with the classic Sinatra and indie music playing all the time. I can't stress enough how much I recommend this place. There is so much more to talk about but my fingers are tired. Mezzo is simply the place to be.

I don’t know how to say that having a perfectly surprised latte, that any of the wonderfully good looking baristas come up with, is so great. I personally just keep forgetting to kiss the barista that comes up with my excellent latte and whatever else I get. Because I usually get too much thinking about how perfect my surprise latte is. So I am going to ask you to go there and get a surprise latte! And then try to guess the correct flavors. Pumpkin and anything mixed with lavender, throw me off the most. Actually I usually get it completely wrong but WoW is it so much fun. And I am able to make very attractive women giggle without being overly creepy.
