We’ve been here many times and keep coming back for a reason! Great food, selection, service and prices. Can’t go wrong if you decide to stop here for breakfast/lunch. Just a warning; you may need to wait 10-25 min. but it’s worth it. The one complaint I have is that sometimes when they are busy the food comes out cold. They are happy to warm it up and return it to you. Come in, and see for yourself, you won’t regret it!

Went here before and thought it was pretty good but today I have to change my review. After being seated we quickly ordered and began to wait for our food. 55 minutes later we were given our food. Every single plate our food was brought on had dried up hot sauce or random food items on it. My wife's food has random fruit in it. All of the food tasted old and dried out. Not like we had been given in previous visits. Once we got the bill there was extra charges and when I questioned them I was told "oh.. there was an extra charge for mother's day". This wasn't written anywhere and the food was the exact same price you can get any other day... So we paid extra to wait longer than we ever have and have worse food. We'll never return. This was hopeful to be one of our favorite places but sadly this experience ruined it.

The food here is pretty good however, the last and final time we ate here, my boyfriend found a piece of ham in his eggs. At first I thought it was tomato but he was wary to try it and called the waitress over. She confirmed that it was ham and informed us that they use the same griddle to make their chicken, ham, beef, bacon and sausage. We informed her that we strictly don’t eat ham. She didn’t apologize nor offer to change his plate. All she said was that it must have mixed in. We were disturbed by how casually she took this matter as I’m severely allergic to red meat and if that had fallen onto my plate, “it must have mixed in” wouldn’t have worked for me. They would be served with a lawsuit. I have informed all my friends who don’t eat pork about this incident. Extremely disappointed. I haven’t gone back since. I’m leaving this review in hopes that management attempts to change how they cook their meats, or at the very least separates the pork from the rest of their meats.

Overall, the food was delicious! And the orange juice too! We ordered the fruitopia pancakes and we devoured them under a minute basically because they were so warm and fluffy and just the right amount of sweet fruit with chocolate drizzle and powdered sugar. I also got the sriracha omelet which is rolled into hash browns and although with a little salt it was good but the hash browns overwhelmed the omelet especially because they were a little too brown and crispy (bordering on somewhat burnt). We went around 12 on Sunday and it was decently crowded but around 12:45, the waiting crowd was packed in. After being seated our food took at least 35 min to arrive so just a heads up, it wont be a quick visit around this time but I do think the wait was worth it.

Fun, upscale, but overpriced version of a Coney Island. The red velvet pancakes are delicious but I found myself needing 2 entrees as 1 was insufficient and left me hungry. So while 1 entree was small, it still was not inexpensive. I would likely go again but it would not be my first choice.

Stick to the flapjacks. All the savory options I've tried here have been pretty bland, oily, and strangely unsalted. The fresh OJ was a let down too. Fresh OJ is only as good as the oranges you start with, and these were as bland as the omelets, skillets, and scrambles. Friendly service though! I like what they're trying to do here, and with a little improvement I think this could be a greasy spoon joint worthy of this southern boy's affection.

We walked in at 2:15 pm and it was filthy. Probably the dirtiest restaurant I have been in in years. Food, napkins, straw wrappers strewn underneath the tables. We were not greeted, found our own seat and then waited forever to get waited on, and there was a grand total of 3 other customers when we arrived. The sweet potato fries had obviously been sitting around for a long time. Any positives here? Yes, the chicken tortilla soup was excellent.

Super busy local cafe that is only open for breakfast/lunch, but it's well worth the wait if you have the time. The food is really good and everyone is super nice. Our server was outstanding - extremely attentive, but we did not feel like she was rushing us at all even though there was a line the entire time we were there. (I'm bummed I didn't catch her name so I could give her a shout out. Young woman, high school or college aged with brown hair - thank you!) We had the Mediterranean skillet and the sriracha chicken "sandwich" with cheesy hashbrowns as bread, and each was super tasty. The skillet potatoes stayed crispy (the way I like it) despite being covered with the eggs and other ingredients. Both meals were available with pancakes instead of toast as our side, and we upgraded them to specialty pancakes for $2. Portions were very generous and a great value! They probably need more stalls in the women's restroom, and I wouldn't be be upset if they expanded to add more space/tables. The coffee isn't great, but the food and service totally made up for it. They also warm the syrup before bringing it to the table, which is nice. We'll both definitely be back!

We are regular weekend patrons of Jonny Cakes, and it is far and away our favorite breakfast stop. They have a good menu and a very friendly wait staff. We take our 3 year old every weekend, and the staff go out of their way to make sure that every visit is a positive experience for him. Vicky might be my son's favorite person on the planet. We tend to go early on weekends because it gets fairly busy after 9:30.

My girlfriend and I decided to try this place for the first time. We are a huge fan of breakfast and can be pretty picky at times. We both ordered omelette and pancakes. I also ordered a side of corned beef hash. The food was pretty good. The omelettes were slightly over cooked but still delicious. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The corned beef hash was decent. I’m pretty picky when it comes to corned beef hash though. The service was as expected. We had to wait for a table and we needed up sitting at the bar but I’d say it was worth it. Our server didn’t seem to be the friendliest but it was acceptable. Maybe it’s because they were going to close in roughly an hour but she could’ve been a little more welcoming. Overall first time experience was good and we would definitely come back.

This is my first time at their establishment and it was an okay meal. The service was friendly and attentive. The coffee was not great. I really enjoyed this place, I'm not sure if it is somewhat new or not but totally worth the try. The other thing that I think they might want to do is add more of a waiting area. When I went it was around church getting out time on Sunday, and there was a very big line waiting to sit down and eat and just not enough of a waiting area for all of them. Other than that the food came out quick, and the service was very nice and friendly.

I'm a chef, and I'm not huge on breakfast. But if I go out, this is my spot. The waitstaff is always very nice, even if they're busy. They also have gluten free options (I have celiac's disease) if you need, and they seem to be willing to make substitutions. I don't really like to eat out, and I've been very disappointed with the eateries here. But this place is very "home-y". I like it, I like the food, and the atmosphere.

The food is great...when you finally get it. It was a 35 minute wait, which is fine because we came during their busy time. But it took over an hour to finally get our food and the waitress has been at our table just twice within that time. The waitress wasn’t rude but wasn’t friendly either and she was quite forgetful. I love egg Benedict breakfast when its done right. Why are my eggs completely solid? I've ordered these Benedict's twice thinking the first time was just a mistake but again? I'm so disappointed, thank God I have an amazing boyfriend who decided to cook me (real) poached eggs. I liked this restaurant but I see the quality is definitely not the same.

Iced tea is weak. Always worth going. Pancakes and french toast are the best options. Omelettes and eggs are usually on the dry side.

This is one of my favorites places to eat for breakfast! I wish I would have found out about this place sooner. Their crepes and french toast are the best! I am a big fruit eater for breakfast. So the savory crepes with the fruit sauces and fresh fruit is mouth watering. So much better than I-hop. The portions are bigger than what I am used to. I always have leftovers when I come here. My fiance is a big eater and always finishes his food but when he comes here he packs almost half of it home! The staff is very nice and friendly. This place does get pretty busy. If you want a seat, I would suggest going early, otherwise you'll be waiting for a good 20 minutes.

Updating my review. The last two trips to get our Red Velvet Pancakes, one of their signature menu items, was just not good! Burnt pancakes on one trip. Gave them another shot. Raw in the middle pancakes. So chewy we didn't eat them. I hope they are able to fix this. Still great staff and would like to go back. But for now, we won't.
