Fantastic find tucked away in plain sight. Had the croissant and blueberry muffin. Excellent!! Can hardly wait to return. Well, I've been back for the muffins. Couldn't resist the cookies in the display case. Lemon raspberry was incredible!

Sweet Life serves your average American brunch. The cafe is very nicely decorated inside and you can sit at the bar, at the window, or at a table. There seems to always be a short line, which means it’s a very popular place! The left side looks like a bakery but they don’t actually have much of a selection so it looks a bit underused. Their menu itself has all the usual choices. The food is good, although maybe a little under seasoned. My table ordered the Irish Eggs Benedict and the Turkey Brie sandwich. The coffee is what you’d expect. Overall the service was decent although the wait for food was a lot longer than I’d image for brunch. The cafe is also super noisy so be prepared to yell a little as you try and have a conversation.

This was a very nice restaurant/bakery in Lower Mills, Dorchester. It has a nice ambiance coupled with really good food. The Sunday Brunch is very good, and their baked goods are a treat on your way out.

I am only giving them 3 stars. The food and coffee are good, service is flat but I would rather give them a 1 star because they don't open when they should. Standing outside in the rain with a whole group of people and they didn't open today. No notice, no sign, voicemail greeting is outdated ridiculously unprofessional

The breakfast/brunch food is actually really good. The baked goods are tasty but not particularly memorable. The service however is mind-bogglingly not good. Your food may come out quickly or it may take forever. So it'll taste good. And I did once order a cappuccino from a server who didn't know what that was...

Sweet Life is a friendly, casual spot. We stopped in for lunch today, and had a couple of delicious sandwiches served by a very nice server. We will be back to check out their breakfast and the bar. One thing we forgot to ask is that we not be given plastic straws. They are so wasteful! Looking at the other diners' tables, about half hadn't touched their water by the time they left. Why not save the labor, water, ice, dishwashing, and landfill space by asking us if we want water and if we want a straw? Then you could have paper straws on hand that can be composted. It's wonderful to have nice restaurants in Dorchester. Keep up the good work, and please consider your straw policy.

Come here regularly because it is in my neighborhood. I have always found the prices to be a bit high and service not very swift; especially considering portion size. I got over it. Then, this morning I go in for breakfast and find that they changed the hours from 7 am to 8. That was the last straw-done with this place.

Went there today with my niece for lunch it was utterly fantastic. We had the pick two we both had half a toasted chicken salad sandwich I selected the caesar salad she had the goat cheese salad. The meals were served with a bag of chips and a kosher dill pickle! Oh the establishment was immaculate and our server very attentive. Needless to say I will certainly be back and spread the word to all!

This neighborhood favorite is an absolutely amazing breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot. Busy busy busy on weekends, but so worth it even if there's a wait. From the omelettes to the quiche to the regular old deli sandwiches, everything is freshly prepared and tastes delightful.

I really enjoyed eating at the Sweet Life cafe. It's a place where a lot of service providers go to it's an opportunity to quietly mingle with people in your field mingle with union workers people from all different facets of Boston. The waiters are extremely kind and polite attentive and efficient. I enjoy their portions and I enjoy their Foods everything is nicely seasoned according and you can have it your way. I really like the Aviance of the Eatery it's really laid-back easy going happy place to eat a male.

I was looking for something really special for my wedding so I made a large order of macarons for a macaron tower at my August 2019 wedding. I worked with Kristin who was helpful and extremely easy to communicate with right from the start. She helped me decide how many would work for my guest count and we discussed flavors, colors and design. Their prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity that they provide. Kristin was excellent to coordinate with for the wedding day timeline for delivery and I knew I wouldn't have to worry about a thing. The end result was absolutely perfect and blew away my expectations. Kristin created a beautiful tower of macarons and even added flowers scattered between the tiers. My guests were extremely impressed and it was a complete hit! People couldn't get enough of the macarons! The best part? She saved me and my husband a little box of our own to eat! The macarons were soft and chewy and absolutely delicious. I couldn't be more pleased with our experience with Sweet Life and I highly recommend them for any event to add something really special for your guests.

Most importantly, the food is always good. Always. But sometimes their service is intolerably slow. I have spent close to two hours here for breakfast, and I have kids so that's a pain. The people could not be nicer, the food (and coffee) are both great, but they have to get more consistent with service yup be five stars

Visit after the renovations re-opening. Had a late breakfast with friends. I had an omlet with spinach, mushrooms and pepper jack cheese which came with potatoes and toast. Others had the sweet life special along with pancakes. I was pleased with my meal and so where my friends. It was busy but not too crowded. I will come back.

My husband and I wanted to find a place to have some brunch. This place showed up on google and we decided why not :) The best decision we made. In one sentence the ambience is upscale, the food tastes great, severs and very knowledgeable and friendly and prices are good. We had french toast with fruits and maple syrup. Since I am a vegetarian and have some diet restrictions, requested the server if they can prepare something for me. Had a toasted bread with avocado and home fries. The fries are the best that I have ever tasted. Coffee was simple, but we were there for the food so all good. Will recommend this place for a romantic brunch or if you just want to have food at a place and get inspired

Food was fine, but we probably won't be going back. We have an energetic toddler who hates sitting in high chairs and one of the hostesses insisted that she sit in one in a judgemental way. It made us feel very uncomfortable and we had to cut our brunch short. We'll stick to Zia Gianna, Ashmont Grill and home.stead for Dorchester brunches in the future.

Not only is the food amazing but the customer service from the staff is above and beyond average. I moved from across the country and came to sweet life alone, with a book, trying to find new places in the area. I was immediately greeted by friendly smiles with genuine conversation. They referred me to so many places, they remembered my name, and they treated me like family. Now 9 months later, I still come at least once a week. They made me dessert for my birthday, they know my friends, we talk sports, and they’re constantly showing the type of customer service you always wish for. Went in for lunch specifically to try their Sam's burger since highly recommended on the Phantom Gourmet. Waited 30 minutes for service was told only serving breakfast all day. Never had chance to try what I wanted noticed other customers being served items from their lunch menu. Staff completely confused inattentive and food was well below average. Highly recommending to select any other restaurant. This is one place I'll never go to again.
