You have the feddbacks of real people like you who use the services and products of Pavement Coffeehouse (Coffee Shop) in Massachusetts.
To this day this business has a score of 4.4 out of 5 and this rating was based on 330 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is really good, and it's founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we can say that the evaluation is very reliable. If many people have bothered to leave their opinion when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to give scores when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Coffee Shop is included in the category of Coffee shop.
Their food is always spot-on! The staff are friendly, even when they have to tell you that they're out of an ingredient or the toaster isn't working. I'd rather know! This spot was super-tiny, so I subtracted one star.
Super cute spot. Great service. The lox bagel sandwich was definitely one of the better ones that I've had. Pretty reasonably priced for a little cafe too.
Coffee and turkey sandwich were good. Great place for quick chill out. Music was good but really loud, not the place for you if you're looking to get work done.
The café is beautiful, no doubt! However, the food was average. We ordered bagels and croissants. The bagels were okay-ish, the croissants were cold and they didn't have a proper arrangement to warm them up. Secondly, I saw the reviews an pictures with their coffee mugs, but sadly we were served coffee in paper cups. It was a massive disappointment to say the least.
Great food and coffee. Everything is house made and for the most part local (or as local as coffee can get). The space is a bit small so don't plan on being relaxed and cozy but it's definitely the best coffee place in the neighborhood!
The staff is super polite and friendly. I've been here multiple times and never have I ever had a bad experience. The food and coffee is great. My particular favorite is the Bagel and Veggie combo. For about $5 you can get a really filling sandwich. My personal choice here is the Bagel and Veggie with - multigrain everything bagel, spicy diablo cream cheese, red onions, and cucumbers.
Great espresso coffee!
Ordered a large coffee. Barista brought out a small. No big deal, I asked it be corrected. When prompted the first barista refused, and the second then poured the coffee into a large cup and announced, "I got a large coffee with room!"
Tastes good. But when we pointed out that the paper cup looked like it was dirty and had fuzz on it, without looking closely the barista dismissed the conscern and said it was just cinnamon. It may be there was cinnamon on the cup, but we sure did see a lot of fuzz on that cup, too. Disappointed.
Found this sweet cafe while on vacation. If I lived in the area I would go there regularly. The food and coffee were both delicious and fancy enouch to take pictures of (which, like a true tourist, I did for the coffee as you can see) but not super expensive and they have menu options for both vegetarians and carnivores so you can bring a meatatarian friend without going hungry or having to convert them to the green side before you can eat. I thought the table we sat at was hilarious so I took a picture of it too. Enjoy
My favorite espresso of all time, got the right kick and smokiness to it. Great atmosphere, and great choice of music. Barista's are nice and friendly. It's most certainly one of my favorite coffee places ever.
Along with Barrington, the best coffee on Newbury. They have really great bagel sandwiches and weird hipster music to boot. It's a very small shop below ground level, so there may not always be seating.
Great little cafe. Food was delicious. Drinks were good but not fancy.
Formerly a five star rating from me. The breakfast sandwiches are still good... But what happened to the strength of flavor in the chai? I went to pavement for the first time about 6 months ago and had two fantastic chai latte, however last week tried twice again and the chai had little spice ... Truly disappointing.
Perfect cozy place for a good quick breakfast
This Pavement is small, so good for in & out. Oat milk latte is great.
Nobody's raving about the coffee at this place? Simply fantastic, and the espresso is finely pulled as well. Drink both of them black, with nothing added, to get the true flavour. Always a friendly and eclectic staff, not to mention awesome music at this joint.
Ok, been there once, 3 years ago, one of the best coffee's I've had in the USA, and great service, thanks!
Fantastic staff, drinks, and environment. Don't count on a seat inside, but there's a parkway ~2 min walk away.
A Back Bay staple that features great coffee and surprisingly tasty breakfast and lunch food. This location is a little small, so head to the other location on Boylston if you can't find a seat
The bagels are pretty good but they're so tiny. It's pretty good for Boston but that doesn't earn it more stars in this Jersey boys heart
This place is the worst. Waited 20+ mins for a bagel sandwich. NONE of the staff seem to know what a smile is. The crowd is the worst. ZERO people of color walked into this place in the 20+ mins I was waiting. Do not recommend, especially if you're a person of color. Vibe was unfriendly...sort of like being in the seaport.
Wonderful service. The girl with the green hair that works there is the best
Nice bagels and coffee. Honey butter and bacon is a great combo! The bacon isn't smoked so it just ends up tasting amazingly sweet. The lox bagel was also great. Not too many raw onions, and the tomato kept it light and fresh. The store itself is way too tiny though! Now I understand why this place always looks packed. Even though there was a long line, the staff did not seem to make an effort to work faster at all.
The vegan tequila sunrise is the best sandwich of all time. Great, house-roasted, coffee as well.
It was gucci.. I messed with the cappuccino there. Good looks
Quality is excellent but it is a little pricey. Often busy weekend mornings, so not somewhere you can necessarily go to if you're in a rush.
Finally! Very good coffee. The real single source and very importantly roasted on site.
Serene little artsy haven in the crazy part of Allston! Such a great place to grab a sandwich, iced coffee, and red or write. My only complaint is that they close at 5!
Best breakfast sandwiches in Boston.
Lovely !!! I like this place a lot!
I asked if they had flavored coffee, and the guy had no clue what I was talking about. He asked, "What like a cappuccino?" He ended up putting syrup in my coffee, which isn't the same thing. The coffee was several inches from the rim, so I asked him to fill it up, since I was paying $3 for it. Then he kept yelling, "black or room?" He said this three times, like I was an idiot. Finally he said, "Do you need room in your cup for cream or sugar."
Coffee is okay, espresso is not great. Food is amazing!
One of my favorite coffee shops. Friendly staff and they also put out a pitcher of almond milk!
Really good coffee for a great price! Would recommend
Good muffins.
Great little coffee shop + fresh bagels ! Who knew the two could co-exist.
My bagel was yummy and the atmosphere was excellent.
Best espresso cortado in Boston.
I love this place. Right next to my office super convenient
Best expresso in Boston
Great coffee but small place so you need to wait a lot for a place to sit!
Great bagels, coffee and vegan options
Way too slow for coffee.
Loved this place! Nice little coffee house. Very artsy with great food and coffee.
Easy walk from Hilton Back Bay. Lots of choices, friendly staff, good food. When we went in there were a lot of people, but the service was quick.
I got the jerk chicken sandwich on a bagel and an aeropress coffee. Both tasted great. The staff were also friendly and welcoming.
The most flavorful coffee in Boston. Hot or cold it's bursting with flavor. And the breakfast sandwiches are great. A friendly staff and good vibes
Definitely the best coffee and espresso drinks in Boston. They make the best mocha too! The pastries are good. Biscottis are really good. Always friendly service.
Favorite coffee bagels and music
if you like your cup of coffee with a smile come here :) Great coffee, fantastic atmosphere!
Its nice!!!
I love this place and it feels like home and family . Hands down my favorite coffee shop in the city
This place is awesome-sauce! It's hard to get a good chia tea in this city but this place doesn't let you down. Also breakfast sandwich are super yummy with vegan options if that is your thing.
The barista was so friendly, only grabbed a coffee for take away, flat white was tasty, but a tad too hot. Would go back though!
Coffee is good but the customer service there is below zero. One of the cashiers hates his life. I think she should quit before he causes more damage to the place
Great little spot for a quick sandwich and a superb coffee. Will definitely stop by again whenever I'm in town.
They double charged my card and when I confronted them about it, not only did they not apologize, but they didn’t want to give my money back. I will be contacting my credit card company to try to dispute this fraud. Horrible service, I regret giving them a tip.
I had the tequila sunrise sandwich, it was fantastic, great service as well.
Best vegan breakfast sandwiches
Cold brew was a bit silty... Other coffee/food is reaaaal good
Coffee is solid, but not remarkable. Better cold brew than Starbucks or other chain joints but about on par with almost smaller coffee shops. Bagels are very blah and overpriced for what they are. Maybe it’s because I grew up on jersey bagels, but these are flavorless and way too expensive given that fact. Just don’t get the bagels, and it’s a dope spot for coffee.
Bagel shops automatically get at least 3 stars for being little circles of carb heaven. This place gets a bump to 4 stars for actually being extraordinarily delicious. My first trip was years ago in college, and a new friend asked me if I wanted to go for a "walk" to get a bagel. Sure I did! That was the day I learned that to her, a walk meant 3 miles at a very fast pace. Its a good thing there was a bagel waiting for me at the other end!
Delicious espresso and tasty bagels... what more could you ask for?!
Great coffee
Definitely shooting for that east-coast hipster feeling.
The service was very fast for just a cappuccino despite the place being packed. It seemed very popular and the decor is nice
Took Californian sandwich (cold, falling apart) on jalapeño bagel (old hard bagel impossible to bite). Chai late was good. Cappuccino horrible - nothing like real cappuccino - some milk and cream.
Delicious cold brew!
Love the vegan tofu spread!
I'm a vegan and I absolutely love coming here because A. THE COFFEE IS FABULOUS. Just a basic lattee is smooth and creamy and made with oat milk for the vegan substitution. B. THEIR VEGAN MUFFINS AND PB COOKIES are to die for! Great alternatives for the norm when wanting a little sweet treat. C. THEIR ITALIAN SEITAN SANDWICH IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. Whenever I'm in the mood for lunch, I always come here for their vegan sandwich. The best part is that I haven't tried all of their vegan menu options so there is still more to try. So exciting!!!
Love their classic lox
Very good breakfast bagel. Probably the best we had travelling the East Coast for two weeks.
Food was good and so was the coffee. Specifically the fresh bagels were awesome!
Super cute cafe with lots of vegan/vegetarian options for breakfast/lunch. Got a Spanish latte, which was great. They also have a lot of other interesting coffee/tea drinks, so I'd love to go back and try more! They do have seating, but it can get kind of crowded with people studying and hanging out.
Cute place to stop among the shops on Newbury. Creative coffee drinks, friendly service, and outdoor seating available.
Coffee is good but service is terrible. I asked for extra cream on my coffee and the barista hesitantly said "ok" with an attitude. Also they are very rude and not approachable.
Really friendly staff. Serving coffee they roast & it’s wonderful. Very few coffee roasters in Boston. House-made bagels. One drawback - Does not take ApplePay.
Delicious vegan options
Great saturday morning breakfast place. Amazing selection of bagels and bagel sandwiches. Get there early cause they run out of freshly baked bagels. Try the Ike sandwich!
Nice options in beagles
Excellent food and service. Bagels, pastries and sandwiches are awesome and delicious. Staff very helpful and friendly. Reasonable prices for the neighborhood. Limited seating inside and outside.
As with every Pavement, you are getting very good quality of ingredients and the final product is quite satisfying. My only concern really is the lack of space which makes this particular one quite uncomfortable.
Great coffee. Not talking about lattes. Talking aeropress & tasty, single sourced Counter Culture beans. Drip coffee is hit or miss on freshness. Wouldn't bother any time besides first thing in the A.M.
Really good coffee, and I had The Fix breakfast sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. Nice little shop. Service behind the counter was warm and friendly.
Best iced coffee and most unmotivated staff on Newbury Street.
My fav coffee place in Boston. Try Spanish latte...
Great place for a coffee
Nice staffs!! Delicious bagels
Best bagel I tasted in a while - Dec 2017
Nice and cheaper than others. Busiest also.
Slow, clueless about communication.
Mediocre coffee and sandwiches. ALWAYS long wait time even for a simple order.
Very good coffee and relaxing music. I had a gotta do and it's really good. I love it and I loved the music
Great coffee, nice place to take a rest in terrasse
Beautiful place. A couple of girls were at the bar when I was there and they were really nice. Definitely I will go back .Free wi-fi.
Yummy Bagel, I love the veg combinations and anything with their avocado spread is yummy. The only problem I have is that the bagel itself isn't that great. I guess I have been spoiled in New York but a better bagel would make their sandwiches perfect. It can get quite busy. They have some seating but I usually get it on the go. The prices are pretty good. Its a good go to though and I have never been disappointed with the making of the sandwich.
Need more people on bagel duty in the morning. I've stopped going because it takes way too long and my order is often wrong. Unfortunately, because it would take too much time to wait for them to give me the correct order, I have to leave with something I'm not happy with. Food quality is usually great, just inaccurate and untimely.
A cozy hipster coffee shop with amazing bagel sandwiches and coffee! The tequila sunrise bagel is to die for (if it is still there) they rotate the menu periodically. There are not many seats inside so don’t plan on bringing a large group of people but it is a great place to meet up for a catch up or casual business meeting.
One minute to order 15 minutes waiting for a bagel with cream cheese if I have to wait 15 minutes it better be exceptional it wasn't
Great bagel sandwiches!
Wasnt good. The breakfast sandwich was ehhh way over prized for quality. Oh I threw the latte in the trash on the sidewalk out front
Great coffee and breakfast bagel. Will get that again.
Great experience!
Love this spot ... but head here on off hours to really enjoy the space as it is small and can get crowded. The staff is knowledgeable friendly and an eclectic mix of humans. I love how this company staffs.
Waited in line for 20 minutes to be greeted by an overly unenthusiastic clerk. Waited another half an hour to be told they were out of the bagels we ordered, watched numerous employees walk right by us as we waited for a remedy, until we were given a bag of food that wasn't our order. Total waste of time for something you can get anywhere else in Boston.
Pretty good decor. Friendly service. Delicious egg sandwich.
It’s a great spot. I go for the coffee only, but the food is five star. There is better coffee in Boston, but Pavement’s seasonal flavors are wild.
Awesome drip coffee and "overnight oats." No waiting in line at 7:30 am, haha!
The Fix breakfast sandwich is delicious!! Not your normal egg and cheese sandwich - they added a hint of spiciness!
Fair price, excellent coffee, and an exquisite outdoor patio.
Great sandwiches! Very cute atmosphere as well
Awesome place for a quick breakfast and coffee. Breakfast sandwich with peppar jam was excellent.
Best cup of drip coffee I've had in a long time.
Pavement is awesome and super friendly
Aeropress coffee is delicious. Staff is friendly. Feels a little dingy, it could use a fresh coat of paint.
Great quality coffee and amazing bagel sandwiches. The vegan tequila is amazing. The staff aren't overly friendly, just straightforward probably because they're always busy
When this place doesn't run out of bread for sandwiches, it's pretty damn good.
Cool coffee shop. Cool vibes. Cool people. Too expensive. They have delicious lates and bagels, but the drip coffee is kinda sour tasting :/
Drinks are good, service is just okay. Space is small so there is not much seating. This location is more for "on the go" or a break from shopping in the area.
Love the classic lox bagel sandwich
Best mint iced tea around! I only go in for that tea but unfortunately this time, I was given plain iced tea instead. Didn't realize until after I'd already left :-(
Whenever I am craving for bagels This is where i get them Prices are within reason The sandwiches are awesome I tried the tequila, summer, and the BLT And no complaints at all The coffee is middle not bitter not to light
WAHOO THAT’S SOME HOT COFFEE DEFINITELY BURNT MY TONGUE ON IT.
Stopped during Head of the Charles weekend. Didn't have to miss my traditional Sunday morning bagel breakfast. Excellent food and service. Don't let the line scare you. It moves quickly.
Good service, impressively straightforward vegan options, but a smaller menu than I'd expect and all drinks that left the bar were only about 70% full, so I don't feel I was served the value I expected.
One of the best coffees I have had in a long time. Jalapeno bagel with habanero cream cheese was amazing. Great service.
Tasty bagels, good coffee and friendly service.
We stopped for breakfast one morning, and this place was packed. They're cranking out a lot of sandwiches and coffee. The sandwiches were good. The standard egg/cheese/bacon on a bagel was well done.
Had an excellent latte, very well crafted. They use counter culture coffees, offer pourovers, and the food looked good although I didn't have any this trip.
Awesome local spot inside and outside seating Great lattes and only $0.25 for almond milk
Delicious breakfast sandwiches (I had the sunrise) and great coffee.
Espresso far too acidic and is served with a shot of seltzer to cleanse. Ew. Teas are amazing. Breakfast sandwiches and snacks are great. Sunrise on everything bagel is a local treasure. Masala chai is delicious.
Great staff, delicious coffee and a good atmosphere. What more would you ask for?
$5.50 + 15 minutes to get a vanilla latte I think I'll be sticking to Starbucks
Standard American coffeehouse. Nice bagels and sandwiches with average coffee.
I like pavement coffee houses very much for their bagels and quality coffee. This location on Newburry street is smaller and busier and not as well suited for lingering as the other locations.
Fun place for breakfast but make sure you check the weekend opening times unless you want to be stranded on the street - and, if you are, don't expect them to open the doors a couple of minutes early when they see you standing in the rain. It's obviously yet another Boston rudeness.
Bagels are good, get an espresso drink friend
Yummy food
Like the other Pavements throughout the city this one has extremely good coffee and sandwiches at a slight premium. Not a lot of seating in this one so be prepared to take your drinks to go.
Had a very delicious cortado here.
Just sharing information on particular location located in Harvard, that does not appear on google: 1350 Massachusetts ave. Not a complainer usually. Worst experience with many customers backed up and extremely frustrated, took 30 min to get a latte employee they seem to not care about their job. Workers should chat with their friends outside of worktime. Feeling very sorry for the actual owner of the business.
Great coffee. Perfect for a quick trip. It's a very small location.
The Over Night Oats was wonderful- Coffee was top notch.
Coffee is excellent and they do various tasty bagel sandwiches but this location is tiny and usually jam-packed. Their cortado is
Good coffee, interesting staff
It’s a great spot. I go for the coffee only, but the food is five star. There is better coffee in Boston, but Pavement’s seasonal flavors are wild.
The best selection of bagels and cream cheese you can possibly find. Fight your way through the hippies and patchouli and you'll get a great bagel.
Their sandwiches and bagels were delicious and the servers were very nice. However, the lines are often very long during lunchtime and it takes a while to get the food I would not plan on finding a table here because there are not many places to sit, especially at lunchtime
Great service with a pleasant and accommodating staff. A+
Great coffee and bagels!!!
Great neighborhood coffee house! Awesome coffee and bagel sandwiches. Friendly staff.
Great food and coffee choices. A nice hangout with a young crowd.
Wonderful cappuccino brave as always
Great place!! Amazing vibe
went there on a friday i think.
I've had my fair share of coffer in Boston over the last decade I've lived here. Pavement is i think among the best, consistent coffee across all their locations, very very tasty, on the lighter side roast wise, which is my preference. Also, bagels are delicious.
I usually get either a cappuccino or if I'm feeling
If you've ever wanted to film the native hipster/"liberal elite" poster children in their native habitat here's the spot! It's a small shop where sitting becomes a hot commodity after 10 on the weekends. The service is good and so is the food but as previously mentioned, prepare to pay hipster prices 10-25% higher than you'd find at equivalent coffee shops. Essentially it's either right up your alley or it's not but either way you'll be paying extra.
Better than Starbucks. Do it.
The food is good and I like tea selection they have. the music makes me want to punch someone in the face! the AC is very cold... even in winter!!
Great coffee and bagels
A small hole in the wall for sure, but great coffee. If you come at off hours or are getting coffee to go, this place is great. The bagels are delicious too!
Good coffee, but cramped interior with way too many hipsters
Great independent coffee place. Excellent breakfast sandwiches
Very cute little spot with great coffee and amazing breakfast sandwiches. The tables seem a little small for a laptop but definitely a great environment to relax.
One of several Boston-area locations for this local chain. This one houses the Bakery Operations for all of the shops in the back, which leaves little room for seating upfront. It's got a cozy charm. Definitely great for an in and out order, maybe not so much a place to study. The bagels and breakfast sandwiches are phenomenal (I love "The Fix"), their coffee is solid, among the best in the area. Roasted at their lower Allston location a couple miles away.
The coffee was fine. I also got an everything bagel with cheese (Basic is what they called it on the menu). The bagel was kinda chewy and very very salty! Very disappointed with the bagel. The staff is friendly and there’s a good amount of seats! The outdoor seating is a nice touch.
Good food and cute place but poor customer service. We ordered and still hadn't received our food 25 minutes later. People that had ordered well after us had already eaten and left. When we brought this up to the staff they acted rude and unapologetic as if we were a big inconvenience for their mistake. They had to put in another order and after all that I got an incorrect bagel which didn't include the addition I had to pay extra for.
Pavement mocha iced coffee is extremely unique and delicious
Good coffee and breakfast sandwiches
The bagels taste great but the place is too small.
lt was an amazing fine dining experience.
I can't write home about the coffee here as I've found my coffee experiences to be unremarkable however the food is delicious!
Really and cute cozy little place. Just be mindful that it can get very pack very quickly. Great selection of breakfast sandwiches at a really good price considering the neighbourhood. God selection of veggie, vegan or GF options for food and drinks and a staff that clearly loves working there is always a plus.
Bit too frothy. Not crema
Amazing vegan breakfast bagel and coffee drinks. The environment is also cozy and pretty quiet, so it's great for studying and reading.
Great little coffee and bagels place. Trained and passionate barrista's - Nice to see.
airy space though small. superior coffee. fast service.
Newbury street level coffee tastiness. It's good. Acceptable but not top notch Pepperoni tasty. I'd rather head to a shop off the Tuftbury path, save a dollar, get better coffee, and spend that dollar on a tasty slice of pizza pie. Employees were nice tho. They seem down w the pepp
This place takes 30 minutes to make a bagel and when trying to order something that is plainly on the menu, was told that it’s not in the computer. Had to return food multiple times because it didn’t have anything I asked for on it
This particular location is teeny tiny! At 9am on a weekday, it's crowded, but most people are just grabbing coffee so you find a seat. The coffee is good and the muffin (blueberry) was amazing.
Killer coffee and breakfast bagels. Friendly staff. Nice (if compact) space. Prices are a little on the high side; $60 for 2 bags of beans and a mug (a very cool mug) - ouch!
This place has great coffee. Good service too! I did think that their bagel sandwhich I had was really lacking, like it had almost nothing on it, little flavor, no real substance, just a lot of bread. Good place tho!
This is a really quaint coffee shop on Newbury Street that makes great lattes served with lots of charm
Meal was pretty good. So was the coffee. Staff was pleasant. Prices seemed a little in the high end. Place is very small.
Best vegan spreads and sandwiches
Their Matcha Latte is sooo good!
Good bagels and sandwiches
Hip, local coffee shop with fresh bagels and full salad/sandwich menu for looking for more than a caffeine boost. How's the coffee? They have nice seasonal blends and daily coffee drinks that you won't easily find elsewhere. You can absolutely get a fantastic espresso pull here. Would recommend for anyone looking for less hustle + bustle with their coffee.
Great bagels and breakfast sandwiches alone we good coffee
Very nice coffee and staff are super friendly.
My favorite coffee shop (chain) in Boston. I love the bagels, particularly the Bagel and Lox and the Sunrise. Their everything bagel is amazing. Unfortunately, prices for their food have been going up pretty consistently. Their coffee is the best in Boston, if you like light roast. This location is small and busy.
Pretty nice coffee, and lattes.
Their bagel sandwiches are amazing! Their jalapeño bagels are great, their whole wheat bagels are also great. Even their chai is good.
Superb coffee!
Hip coffee shop with great breakfast bagel sandwiches.
Good coffee but place is way too small. Always felt in the way while waiting for food
Nice morning spot with good pastry and breakfast selection. Sometimes long lines and waits but not a deal breaker!
New to Allston. A little small in there but all of care in making the coffee
Coffee is awesome! Breakfast is delicious! Been living in Back Bay for a while and it's one of my top spots.
Excellent bagels and coffee! Quite crowded on weekends but nice cozy place.
It's rare to walk into a café with such a vibrant and happy team behind the counter.
Most tables are small rectangles, but you can definitely move them around and put them together in different ways to make some interesting shapes/ configurations. My pal made a HUGE rectangle. Was crazy.
Back in the day there used to be the go-to place called Bagel Rising that provided Allston/Brighton residents with a good cup of coffee and a delicious bagel sandwich to cure whatever debauchery happened the night before. They had lines out the door on most days, crazy waits on Sat and Sun. Pavement decided this was a horrible business model, so they took over and upped the prices on everything, took away some of the best sandwiches, and added a hipster attitude to match the prices. As you can see, I am bitter. I hate to see wanna-be Starbucks chains take over local businesses and ruin everything that was great about the place. The only reason I gave it two stars is the food and coffee are decent, but way overpriced for what you get in return - especially when you have to deal with the hipster attitudes. I'll take the stoners from Bagel Rising any day.
Get the Spanish Latte
Wow. Great iced vanilla latte! Fast service. The place is a little small so all the tables might be taken if you are going to study or work, but quality of the coffee is amazing!
They have amazing coffee and I love their vegan vegetarian options
A little pricey for what it is but great service
No place to sit, staff was rude. Got a refund and walked out.
This place has great bagels and hipster coffee. Breakfeast sandwiches are on point. Pretty small so it gets really crowded on weekend mornings with hungover 20 somethings.
Although the coffee is excellent, I found this experience stressful due to how busy and small the coffee shop is. You could get a bagel of lesser price and equal quality in dunkin but I came in here for a nice ambience. It was too busy to even sit down and enjoy my food...
I'm a serious, very serious coffee snob visiting from Canada and cannot generally stand most consumer espresso bars (to wit: I routinely skip drinking coffee altogether if the best on offer is Starbucks). This place got high early marks when I walked in because they were brewing Counter Culture coffee and using Mazzer grinders and a La Marzocco machine. Thankfully, their equipment accurately foreshadowed the quality of their drinks. On this visit, I've had several very, very good espresso and cortados here. I recommend Pavement without reservation. :)
The perfect coffee fix while far from home.
I love Pavement! Great cappuccino.
Just stopped in for a "redeye" coffee was nasty, I've had better coffee where people dunk donuts.
Coffee coffee coffee coffee all the time Wow Can you believe it.
I dont' care what people say: this place, with its expensive sandwiches, will never hold a candle to its ancestor, Bagel Rising. I weep for you, BR.
One of the few places in town that makes a Spanish latte, with quick service and consistently good coffee!
Small but a good place to have some coffee day or night. Custo.er service is great food is great but most of all the coffee is excellent. Smooth, not burning hot and smells great. All i have to say is come and try it out, i wasnt disappointed. Love this place
Excellent coffee.
The breakfast sandwiches are diverse and wonderful. I had the vegan Diablo and had to come back the next day to have it again. The coffee on the day I was there wasn't spectacular, but perhaps that's more a matter of taste.
This is a great place to get hungover coffee and sammiches. Also great for watching super shiny college kids whose allowances are definitely more than your annual salary be shiny and weird. Grab your giant tasty coffee and beautifully messy breakfast and run away so fast. Retreat to your lair! Gobble that sammich, guzzle that coffee - don't worry you are better than them. Try so hard not to cry.
Very cool place.
Eggs are precooked. Cappuccino is ok. Good service.
I love their Spanish latte! This is my neighborhood go-to when I want a change of scenery to read or do some work. The music could be slightly less louder.
Great selection of drinks, very helpful and friendly staff. We enjoyed our drinks at a table in the outdoor seating area and it was wonderful! Great location!
Good quality coffee and typical quirky coffee house staff vibe (with good musical taste!) but... I've also had consistently rude service from the same two counter staff which brings down the vibe the other amazing people there are about.
I liked the sandwich there. Place is clean and small but good for casual hangout.
After buying a $4 latte they want to charge for a coffee refill. Should offer a reasonable charge for a refill or free.
Baggles with herb-mixed cream cheese are quite good
Great coffee, and they have delicious sandwiches at lunch too
Great place for coffee and for getting breakfast options on the go
Great food and coffee! The sunrise sandwich was really good. Their mochas could use some work, but were still fine. Their almond croissants were great! Service was also quick.
