This Coffee Shop is classified in the category of American restaurant.
Awesome salads! Nice outdoor seating and very enjoyable on a beautiful summer day! The ice tea i had was amazing and refreshing! Very busy but well worth the wait!
Amazing food, drinks and ambience!!!
Good coffee. Nice atmosphere inside and out.
A must-stop place. Found while driving through Mass. Friendly owner and staff, took a small tour of the roasting facility and was impressed by the care and attention here. Just fantastic coffee.
This place is really small the staff is really nice the coffee is really good and we enjoyed it.
Awesome place to stop for coffee and a nice bite to eat. Super nice people running it.
Good food, cool atmosphere. Order at counter and they bring it to you
Fun staff, amazing owners. Lisa and Flavio are a core part of the WS community, and it is a gift to know them. Amazing coffee and tea tastings!!!
Great hip cafe with creative sandwiches and salads, in a beautiful restored train station.
Great little spot. Stopped in before the Norman Rockwell Museum.
Great coffee, nice people.
Great atmosphere and place to relax. I had the lemon ginger tea (they make their own tea bag from scratch) and lemon vegan muffins are addicting. So good I ordered two to go
Beautiful restaurant with GREAT coffee and amazing breakfast. Amazing way to start the day.
The food here is terrible. And the environment is sorta uncomfortable. First off the woman who gave us our coffee filled it up too much. After when we finally got our breakfasts my mother's eggs were filled with egg shells. The environment was very smokey I felt like the fire alarms we're gonna go off at any second not to mention the couple next to us that was basically jumping on each other the entire time we were there. I do not recommend at all if I could give lower than one star I would.
The vegan panini is incredible
Best coffee!
Love this place their coffee is amazing! The shop is in a old train depot and the side room is a super chill environment surrounded by beautiful artwork that can also be bought. All the local shops sale their coffee, as well as serve it and infuse it into ice cream. If you want a darker blend go for heart of darkness, something a little lighter the Bali blue moon. Or for simple the sumatra. You will not regret stopping.
An awesome local cafe with an excellent selection of breakfast items / pastries, sandwiches, salads, and drinks. A great location too and lots of local art!
Fantastic. WAY better than what I expected. Phenomenal coffee and a wonderfully ovewhelming and tempting food menu. Super friendly, too.
Excellent choice of coffee. They take a lot of care in preparing the coffee and it shows. The staff are knowledgable and passionate. As a hard-to-please coffee snob, I give Six Depot 5 stars. Try the Valentina and Belgian Waffles. Both are amazing.
Love this place. Great food, amazing coffee and awesome staff. Happy to go there on a regular basis.
Amazing loved it. The roaster was awesome the people very nice and helpful
Best coffee in the berkshires
Fantastic coffee and great brunch. Good gluten and dairy free options.
Excellent Cafe - gourmet and top notch coffee in a light filled spacious cafe and art gallery.
Great coffee, pastries and sandwiches.
Good food and great value
Great soup and coffee
Husband and I got 2 breakfast sandwiches a hot chocolate and a large. Our mistake for forgetting to say we were taking them to go but so glad we hadn't. We were surprised when the sandwiches came out and there was a side of chips with it but what I loved more than the chips was the delicious small salad on the plate too with lite vinaigrette dressing. Was a great combo with the sandwich. The sandwich itself had THICK cut bacon! Lots of bacon too. They didn't skimp on the serving size. 1 fried egg, almost seemed too little of egg but was fantastic none the less. Just a touch too much cheese on the sandwich but I'm sure it would had been all the better if I had ate the sandwich before the salad but the salad looked so good I couldn't wait to enjoy it. The sandwich with the chips and salad was a great meal to start our day after the mini nor'easter that came thru yesterday. Made for 2 very happy campers and our Chihuahua too who got a snack of the bacon when we left.
Good coffee. Poor atmosphere
A gem in western Mass This is a very small café restaurant that serves fresh brewed/ made coffee drinks with their personally selected roasters. The barista is outstanding and the espresso drinks remind me of the baristas from the PNW. They also make their own pastries all of which are outstanding specially the Nutella banana nut muffin. However the best part is it it’s their paninis. Freshly made bread and ingredients they have a variety of vegetarian, Salmon, roasted chicken, roasted pork or Steak paninis. There are all extraordinary. We were in the area for a weekend and had to stop there twice!!! The service is a bit slow. But it’s with the wait. Many major cities would kill for a place like this.
Beautiful place
Always great coffee and enjoyed a pastry with it this visit.
Nice surprise right off the Turnpike. Good food and coffee. We liked the menu, atmosphere and design of the coffee shop. We will be back to try more if the food and coffee.
At noon, be prepared to wait. But the food is worth it. Freshly prepared and tasty
Always a wonderful vibe... Not to mention great and interesting food.
One of the best spots in the Berkshires for food. One of the hidden gems.
Charming Very very good Panini options. Crisp out and soft in ..delicious fresh ingredients additional surprise elements added via mystery spice.. a sandwich with class and flare...in the far flung hills of Summer Holidays. Staff, from my point of view was young ,but excellent.
Having been in the home roasting world for years, I think the cappuccino and ambience here are among the top three I have experienced globally. In their wall of fresh roasts, you can see that a light roast for them is a light medium, and a dark roast is a medium dark Vienna, which I think is exactly correct. Trendy in the coffee world, roasters go too light or too dark. I'm very happy to receive a properly made cappuccino and with properly roasted blend.
Great place...nice feeling inside!! Friendly, efficient staff and delicious food...we both got paninis, Mercado chicken and caprese..both excellent. We ate outside..beautiful day..beautiful place!
This spot seems to have blown up. Maybe it's different in the off season but you can expect to wait at least a half an hour to eat if you're coming in for lunch. It's just that crowded. For a quick bite look elsewhere.
Coffee tastes good. Several different indoor seating areas, and also a nice outdoor seating area. Relaxed vibe here -- nice place to come read a book.
Great coffee
Hands down, the best coffee shop in the Berkshires. The ownership takes their coffee roasting extremely seriously, and has developed a beautiful series of flavors from choice selected beans roasted in small batches on-site. They also have delicious food and drink, with an emphasis on locally-sourced goods - like their hard cider, which as of this writing is produced in Hudson, NY. When you want the best drinks in the Berkshires, you won't find any place better than Six Depot.
Food was great and the coffee was amazing. Service was friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. We got to sit outside on the patio and it was very relaxing. Will most definitely be back.
I love this place. Their coffee is excellent and everything on the menu deserves a try.
Best cup of coffee around. Location is perfect. I go in there often. One of the times I went in, the owner was chatting with a friend/vendor, and as I was leaving he took the time to pause his conversation, thank me for coming to his establishment, and wished me a good day. That is impressive. There is local art on the walls and now and then live music. I will continue to go there for as long as possible.
From the unique depot ambiance, the really delicious food and coffee to the friendly staff and efficient service, No. Six hits a grand slam on each and every visit. Congratulations.
Great sandwiches and staff is fabulous
Great lentil soup
Excellent
This place is very very nice! All employees are incredible and food us on another level, and coffee is amazingly great!
The breakfast sandwich is legit and their coffee is some of the best I've had. Definitely pick up a bag for home - you won't regret it. The inside also has plenty of space with a variety of seating.
Great coffee and an awesome lunch. The coffee is pricey but worth it
Friendly service and great food and superb coffee!!!
Excellent coffee and small bites.
Great sandwiches. Nice staff. All in all a nice experience.
Just everything was done correctly here, from the drip coffee, to the cold brew, and the espresso and food. Decent beer selection and absolutely fantastic pastries. Really nice that they sell their coffee to take home too.
The ice tea was old tasting--beginning to turn. The tempeh sandwich would have been better, had it not been overpowered with the cinnamon spiced sauerkraut. We were surprised--its such a lovely site, nice art gallery in the dining space...wonderful atmosphere, and rather extensive menu, but I'd select something other than what we ordered.
Six Depot is a really cool spot with good coffee and delicious food. The setting is really nice and so are the people. I recommend it. The drip coffee is great on its own, but make sure you catch it while it's still hot
Fantastic atmosphere, great coffee, breakfast plates and ice cream.
Great Coffee and Great food.
Sandwich so good, cute area
Great tasting coffee and I’m picky when it comes to coffee. Food selection ranged from pastries to paninis and lots of nice combos of flavors. Good place to meet up and get cozy!
Great place.
Love the ambiance, the service and the food!
The food was really good.
I look for local specialty coffee roasters wherever I travel, and No. 6 Depot is the best in the area. The café served as my coffee home for the week I was there and I was so happy to see that many restaurants and cafes in the area also carried and served their coffees and teas. The food and beverages I had were wonderful and the staff are so welcoming. This coffee shop is a gem in the Berkshires.
Amazing coffee, reminds me of drinking espesso in Paris
Good food!
Absolutely amazing food! My biggest problem is trying to decide between so many delicious options. You can tell that they use local fresh ingredients and make their food with great care. The strudel is hard to pass up and the bacon, egg, cheese sandwich is fantastic.
Great food and drinks for breakfast and lunch, with breakfast served a day until 4pm. There's always a line due to the popularity, but it moves quickly enough. The fresh Belgian waffle with Nutella and fruit is awesome - my preference is to add a side of plain yogurt to put on top, making it a bit healthier and the best breakfast ever! The staff are polite and efficient.
Great coffee shop but very busy during peak season (summer and Autumn)
We enjoyed a couple interesting and tasty paninis with lemonade on the outdoor table on a beautiful summer luncheon date with my wife. It couldn't have been better!
Best coffee.... friendly staff
Lovely little place with great coffee
Argentina sandwich and Indian monsoon coffee. Can't beat that
Great food, great iced tea. Nice outdoor patio. Coffee ice cream is really good too.
I only been here once gardening it's fantastic the ways they can draw coffees and automatically feels honable to visit
Nice stop for us between the 91 corridor and Albany. Latte...yum.
Excellent espresso. I had a cortado and loved it. Food is great too. I'd order the bacon and eggs every day if I could
Great place for coffee
Tasty coffee (get a stroopwafel and put it on top of your coffee so the caramel melts!), gratifying food. Minus one star for losing part of our order, but props for cheerfully clearing everything up afterwards.
Solid meals and good coffee. Well worth stopping by.
Delicious sandwiches and very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.
Long wait in line. Long wait for food.
Good espresso and good lunch.
Very Berkshire experienced... whole grains , quinoa, organic everything which shows in the price. That said, everything I had was excellent, wish they offered at least one free refill of coffee (especially if I'm paying $4 for a small cup).
My favorite coffee within an hour's drive of where I live - The owner and his staff are all amazingly friendly, knowledgeable, and quick with service. The place is beautiful and spacious, and the coffee is researched, roasted, and served with incredible precision and consistency. Plus they frequently innovate on their offerings in coffee, and host events such as coffee tastings and other classes. There's a gallery in the back, a new ice cream contingent next door, and long communal seating in the front. They sell their own coffee at the site, as well as a small menu of food items - Baked goods are a bit limited and a mixed bag - the croissant is excellent, and the tortilla (spanish style - eggs, bacon, potato) is a great value - though I wish it were served warm and hot sauce was easier to come by. I've had a few of the salads and soups and they were really good, and their breakfast waffles come piled with generously with fruit I live about 40 minutes from here and still come weekly. It's definitely worth the trip..
Prices high and nothing I wanted to eat
Do you want to enjoy a cup of coffee do you want enjoyed lunch the best place to have a good life quiet peaceful with good food
Great food, delicious coffee, lovely people.
Scrumptious breakfast and lunch in a relaxed, art-filled setting make this a go-to place to eat or take-out. The hot panini sandwiches, large home-made soups, and wide selections of teas are particularly noteworthy. The service staff is friendly and professional.
Amazing!! When you first walk in you are greeted with a smile and the fresh smell of coffee... we stopped here on our weekend getaway from NY and made sure to stop on the way back home! It’s everything Starbucks was when they opened up in Seattle and more...
Despite its long line, No. Six Depot manages to maintain a tranquil coffeehouse environment with a multitude of seating options (indoor and out), satisfying dining, and exquisite coffee.
Whenever I'm home in the Berkshires this is a must have .
Amazing coffee and beverages! Very nice seating and atmosphere, a favorite for me in the area.
Great food, delicious coffee and tea. One can also get a good glass of local beer.
Best coffee in the Berkshires.
A lovely place with a nice atmosphere in a great little town. If the coffee was less expensive I'd give it more stars. If you don't mind spending 3 bucks for a modest sized large coffee, it's a great place to go.
Six Depot is one of the best cafés in the Berkshires. This converted train station has charm, old wooden floors, and full of light. House roasted coffee, fresh pastries, and breakfast and lunch menu items that are locally-sourced, always delicious, and not too pricey--served by knowledgable and friendly staff. Stop by for their rotating gallery and special dinner performances, or their other location at Jacob's Pillow Festival. Cannot recommend this place enough!
Best cold brew I've ever had, and I've had a lot.
Great little spot well worth a detour to visit. Great to have non chain good. Good options for whole coffee beans as well.
Best coffee and sandwiches
Bright space with its own art gallery. Good for meeting with friends or for studying/working. Tasty coffee, eclectic coffee menu.
Creative menu, nice outdoor seating (including shaded options for a hot day)
Went there for breakfast. Food & service were excellent & items are reasonably priced. The outdoor seating is also a plus. I will definitely go there again.
Be prepared for long lines. Food and coffee are excellent.
Best coffee I've had in Berkshire County and I have lived here since 1974. Laid back, comfortable atmosphere. Can be busy at peak coffee times in the summer months but sure glad it's there just the same.
Great food, great coffee, gorgeous space, natural light and lovely gallery of art in an open sun filled room. Helpful and friendly staff and owners who are generous and community minded. Check out all they have going on on their events page. My 24 year old daughter who lived in NYC last year is a foodie and loves good coffee. Whenever she came home she'd load up on buying coffee to take back to NYC. Now she lives in Edinburgh, Scotland and her #1 reguest when we come to visit is bring lots of Six Depot Roastery coffee for her. Now that says a lot when the coffee out ranks NYC and Edinburgh, UK!
Great food, new, inventive ,delicious, tasty , happy service! Best place to eat so much variety, generous portions of ingredients. Smoked Salmon ,pickled onions heavenly
I have had their coffee at the farmers market and I truly enjoy it. I thought it was a little pricey at the farmers market, but it is pretty much the same price at the restaurant. The breakfast sandwiches are fantastic and I highly recommend the shakarato. The food comes with a price tag but well worth it. Parking can be a little congested and confusing as there is no parking spot designation. It can get crowded but is good for small groups. Not much room past that and can be a little difficult to even find a table during peak hours.
Excellent pourover coffee. Efficient cordial service. Pleasant space.
I can't say enough great things about No. Six. Their food was excellent, coffee smooth, and ambiance welcoming. The food was so fresh and flavorful we couldn't get enough. We ordered a breakfast burrito and porchetta panini which were equally excellent. The fresh greens with berries on the side was a nice and unexpected touch. The coffee and espresso were robust and smooth. To be honest one of the best parts was being able to sit outside and experience a beautiful day while listening to a parade passing by for the Memorial Day holiday. Will definitely be visiting again on my next trip to the area. The picture is the beautiful view you can enjoy while e joying the rest of the experience.
I ate here for both breakfast and lunch. Maybe the best bacon I've ever eaten. Delicious.
Ok
Pleasant surprise. Very good coffee, interesting pastries in a comfortable setting.
Such a nice place.. paninis and coffee were both delicious..will definitely go back
The tasting notes don't come close to reality. Also, take note how none of their bags have a date on them, even though there's clearly a section on the front labeled "date". I think they're pushing a lot of stale coffee around.
Nice place. Great fresh food.
All goodness here. Don't overthink it. Just check it out.
Loved it. Quaint little town.
Unique. Great coffee and tea. Variety of food including vegan. Coffee beans roasted on site. Fun location.
Nice stop with great coffee and good food
Excellent coffee and food. Love it! Plan some time because could be crowded.
This place is tucked away in the middle of nowhere. It almost feels like it doesn't fit, but it's just so wonderful. Sitting outside looking around at the small town just feel nice. The drinks are wonderful, the food is fresh, and the staff is helpful. There is plenty to choose from. Make the trip and check this place out.
Love the menu. Great service and tasty meals. Easy parking. Outside seating. Fabulous coffee. Real small town gem
Excellent food and coffee
Delicious food and coffee, wonderful, literally traveled an hour to go here
Great breakfast or lunch option. Healthy, fresh options. And did we mention the amazing coffe they roast!
Best coffee or espresso in the Berkshires! Great food too and the people are always friendly.
Delicious coffee for a fair price and possibly the best GF bread I’ve ever had. Cute atmosphere with outdoor seating. I will return for more!
Excellent food and coffee. Great place. Go there!
bacon and fried eggs superb! and addition of what they call tortilla but it"s more like frittata was out of this world price and spinach, potatoes, cheese, milke, and eggs!!
The cappuccino was very fine, rich and delicious. A very substantial, yet refreshing quality in the coffee. The ingredients look very fresh and taste delicious, this place is a good rural getaway, close to Albany.
Some of the best coffee in the area. People are very nice. Room is artsy chic. Very recommended.
Best coffee around!
Slow service and too pricey for blue collar locals. Coffee was ok.
Despite the long line, our orders were taken and we were eating within 25 minutes. Food was delicious and healthy. Vegan/veggie friendly. Cold brew coffee was outstanding. Had to buy a cute t-shirt too
The food wasn't worth the wait
Their coffee is great. The Heart of Darkness is a wonderful brew. I ordered their apple strudel and it too was very good. The granola bowl was quite pricey, but the fresh fruit earned its value. So glad to have a great place like this in West Stockbridge.
Came here for breakfast, and loved this place!! Belgian waffle was on point but the coffee was even better!! Definitely going to visit again!
Food was very good.
One of my favorite cafes in the world. Fantastic freshly-roasted coffee beans, simple, delicious local food menu, and low key atmosphere at this previously old train depot.
Great food, spot-on coffee, really nice setting. Best coffee beans around, too!
this place is Amazing, from a coffee roastery into a restaurant into an art gallery leaving nothing behind, you get all of those and then some. The food is great, especially the Argentinian Panini, wow now I want one... it'll be packed, but the line is soft, and the soft sights when dining al fresco cannot be beat. Highly suggested.
Stopped off in Stockbridge by accident. Glad we did. Great coffee and a gluten free banana chocolate muffin that was simply divine. Worth a visit
Stopped for a quick drink and bit for the road and we're very impressed. This places is a gem that promotes their local community!
I fell in love with this place over the weekend. The coffee is amazing (had to take a pound home). The customer service was awesome and everyone was super nice. The cozy environment was inviting and the food was perfect.
Great coffee and beautiful atmosphere
It was ok but a long ride fir a cup if coffee.
Excellent food and coffee. Very unorganized. Kind of a free for all with zero service. Even though purposely set up for self serve not much though was spent in how self serve would actually function. Impossible if anyone in your party is compromised by age or a disability. The food is fantastic so it is definitely worth some trouble but to bring guests there is cumbersome and embarrassing.
Great Coffee..... This blend using Ethiopian Beans has a distinctive richness of berries and cocoa just the right balance, smooth.
Definitely more than just your everyday coffee shop. In addition to serving coffee, they actually roast their own beans. Aside from what's brewed, they will make you a custom pot of whatever you want from their inventory. I was given a tour of the roastery by the owner who took time to answer a number of questions. The food was great. A must visit for breakfast or lunch and worth going out of the way to visit.
Simple, good cafe with plenty of baked goods and coffee options. Art gallery is nice and intimate as well. Great date location!
Best espresso, beautiful natural light, the toilet paper dispenser is wack, if you know you know.
We absolutely loved this place— the coffee and the food are both delicious. We went five days in a row on vacation.
Pretty good sandwiches and baked goods.
