We have the opinions of people who buy the services of Caffè Nero (Coffee Shop) in the state of Massachusetts.
As of day the firm receives a score of 4.4 stars over 5 and this score was based on 173 reviews.
As you can see the average of ratings that it reaches is high, and it is based on a high number of opinions, so we can think that the valuation is very reliable. If many people have bothered to leave their review when they are satisfied with the business, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to place opinions when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Coffee Shop belongs to the category of Coffee shop.
Good almond milk latte. Decent atmosphere. Nice outside patio.
My favorite coffee shop in Boston. The atmosphere, music, level of noise, staff, and - most importantly - the coffee are all amazing. I bring my book or laptop and spend an hour or two hours there.
The one in Allston is full of BU students, it has a good vibe!
The coffee is some of the best I’ve had, and the chocolate milk was amazing. I don’t know how but the chocolate milk was so damn good. The pastries are amazing too, this is a great coffee/breakfast/lunch place
Good coffee and baked treats, plus light sandwiches.
My go to coffee place in the morning. Most of it is out of convenience but the coffee is still good. Food is honestly overpriced for what it is. You get a tiny breakfast sandwich for about $6-$7 for what feel like not much after you've eaten it. The pastries are good, especially when they are freshly made. The staff is pretty much always on point. Super nice and always attentive!
Atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The perfect space to get in out of the cold and enjoy a Caramelatté with your boys.
If you like to share table with stranger. It will be good fit. Good place. Good environment.
Good indie coffee, some seating but usual campers.
The place is usually crowded and you can barely find a seat. However, the coffee is really good as well as the pastry selection. It reminds me of home in Europe.
The usual excellent Nero atmosphere and coffee
Often busy, not ideal for writing screenplays but great place to get a quick bite
Best coffee and chocolate croissants
Love the vibe of this place. The staff is very kind and Johanna, especially, is so welcoming, fun and professional. I love coming here to study.
Wife thought the fruit smoothie she ordered was one of the best she has ever had. The turkey and cheese croissant had a bit of honey and it and paired well with the turkey and cheese.
very nice customer service with a smile I recommend this place
Stunning decor. Could sit and sip forever!
good coffee, nice people
Great environment for working. They provide 3 hours of free wifi. Large coffee selection with a good selection of sandwiches as well. College atmosphere. I imagine this place gets pretty packed during the school year.
The iced latte was incredible, the sandwiches and pastries are delicious.
so glad that cafe nero come to USA, excellent hot chocolate and coffee
Best place to take a coffee break, relax, and meet friends. They have free water always.
Very wonderful coffee and ambiance!
Great cup o' joe - not bitter and not too sweet. The service was prompt and friendly. Thanks!
Great place to sit and work in Boston. Good selection of baked goods and sammiches
Very nice place on Commonwealth Ave no ear Boston University. I ordered cappuccino with a muffin. Service was professional, food delicious, and the setting is very welcoming. I liked the place a lot and will definitely visit it again. 3 hours of free WiFi are also offered here (no Netflix or YouTube though).
Coffee's ok, though, not exceptional. They close early at 9:00pm.
Good place to drink coffee in downtown Boston MA
Cute place for coffee/pastries/sandwiches. Gets very busy during lunch and hard to find seating with all the folks who are “working”. Don’t forget your coffee stamp card !
it's a cozy shop with a nice staff but the drinks and food are over pricey. Maybe because of the great location. I would recommend!
Perfect as always
A nice cafe with actual Italian style coffee, unlike a well known coffee shop competitor. A good food selection as well. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Great coffee and pastries in an elegant setting near Downtown Crossing.
Great coffee and food. I recommend the breakfast sandwich.
Cute place and open late :)
Nice cute atmosphere. Drinks are nice, a little pricey, but it's a nice place to study with a warm bev
One of my most favorite cafe here in Boston. Always love to visit here.
The cups are small, but a good shop
Great place to do work
One of the finest coffee shop in Boston downtown. Located in the heart of Boston Downtown. You could try their signature coffee / Hot chocolates and some pastries. Price is not expensive and i assure you it is worth the money we pay. The place is always busy but not over crowded.
Great atmosphere. Nice people. Plenty of seating to hang out or do work. Espresso and pastries were great.
My favorite Cafe in the United States!!!! Best coffee and tea. The pastries are amazing as well. Decor is beautiful and I can spend all day there. I visited this location at least 6 times during my 5 day stay in Boston. Love love this place. I hope one day, they would open a cafe in Houston!
Perfect Coffee!!
Excellent study vibe, excellent food, excellent coffee, excellent people. I have never been to Caffe Nero and not overheard a riveting conversation. It is fairly difficult to get a seat, so I recommend this as the type of place you go alone, not with other people. I especially don’t recommend this as a date location; you would have a very awkward time trying to get seats together.
Plenty of room to sit, and good hot chocolate!
Totally ok.
The place is cozy. Had an iced tea which had a nice flavor. Nice decor and great service.
Friendly, cozy place to hang out with a book, laptop, and beverage.
Coffee is burnt and food is dry and poorly heated. Atmosphere is nice inside but lacking in non-dairy options and the copious use of plastic cups is concerning for 2019
Great place to sit and sip a nice cup of coffee. Beautiful surroundings
Simple yet beautiful decor; stylishly done. Love the books and the woodwork! Lots of comfortable and cozy corners by the window. Got a cappuccino and a double chocolate espresso muffin. Both were just right. Will definitely stop by during my next Boston visit and suggest it to local friends.
Loved the atmosphere. Loved the coffee for sure :)
One of the best coffee shops I've been in!
A nice place for breakfast, the coffee was good and there was plenty of comfortable seating. There is also free WiFi which is useful for those foreign travellers like myself.
Good quality coffee and good snacks. Great space to study or work or just hang out. Music can get loud so i needed to use my headphones or ear plugs a few times. There is something about the heating/cooling system there which my friends and i have experienced in 2 branches everytime we went there. At one point the AC is so high that we get real cold and then suddenly it gets very warm and keeps on fluctuating. So bottom line bring headphones and an extra layer and you'll enjoy working or studying there. If you're there for a quick hang out it'll be a pleasant one.
Had a really rude employee
The coffe was average at the best quite expensive for the quality the sandwiches pretty good but also quite pricey
Good food in a perfect location downtown.
This Italian style coffee shop seem to me be the best in Boston. They also great food. I especially love the view when you're seating out; you see beautiful people from all race and background. I also observed the people here got active a very active life style. Everyone seems to be on the move.
Very nice place to eat. Good food. Good coffee. Perfect start to the day on our way to walk the Pariot trail.
Very cute cafe, coffee was great and at a good price, and the ambiance was great. Looked really nice and enjoyable to relax with a coffee with friends or come to study. Would recommend!
I can't believe I didn't save the picture of the pastry selection. My next cheat day will be here. Pumpkin praline something, croissants, muffins, lemon cake... But also! The coffee is good! I'm not the coffee connoisseur that my husband is, but I really enjoy their coffee. And the setting is cozy and quirky while being surprisingly good for accomplishing actual work. Highly recommend. (And they have healthy stuff too! I just got really excited by the pastries)
Good atmosphere, good coffee and sandwiches but don’t order smoothies... It is way too sweet. I think they put literally a cup of sugar...... ewww
It's a good place to do homework, assuming you don't need a fast internet connection.
While the coffee and treats were OK, the service was atrocious. The waitress grabbed the cups for coffee with one finger on the inside of the cup after handling cash. She was also very slow as she was chatting with another waitress non-stop. She forgot the cake I ordered and I had to get it from another server. By the way, the plate with the cake was dirty. On another note, I don’t think they ever clean the bathroom. The trash bin was overflowing, there were no paper towels, and the place was in desperate need of a mop.
There's a lot of seating but poor cell service, which can be good but also frustrating since there is no streaming on their public WiFi. It's a good spot to study or work and the staff are typically friendly. My only gripe is that they check out people out of order so your order speed and experience is entirely based on the barista that calls on you. This applies to all Caffe Nero locations. I think they're trying to give a personal beginning to end experience but with the failed attempts at multitasking it is honestly just a mess. Starbucks may not have the best food but their process is leagues ahead of Nero. Is it so hard to check out customers that you didn't start with while they wait? It's just awkward and inefficient. Overall, for a Caffe Nero, this tends to be a good one despite how terribly slow they are.
The environment is great! I especially love avocado BLT.
Cozy place with real good coffee and decent food. Customer service is amazing as all employees are friendly. Need I say more?
Good
Great Cafe! Coffee and food was phenomenal
They make a really good cup of coffee. The place is usually packed, tough to get a seat but good people watching if you do
Excellent coffee and amazing place!
Great coffee and pastries. It’s frequently crowded so you might have to wait around for a table but if you do get one; it’s quite cozy.
Great selection.Outstanding service.Awesome environment.
The decor is beautiful. Place is cozy. Good coffee and pastries.
Nice place to do casual reading. Good hot chocolate and croissants. Knocked off a couple of stars due to a racist lady who is extra obnoxious to only Asian customers. When cleaning the tables she is polite to most customers (ask whether one is done with his/her drink before taking the cup away) but never bothers to ask if the customer is Asian. Noticed it several times while sitting here. Even heard a few rude comments.
Hard-working staff, cozy place to get work done, and generally good coffee. They are constantly understaffed and that has occasionally taken a hit on my coffee quality. Nevertheless, it's probably one of my favorite places to go if there is a seat open and enough employees.
Super aesthetically pleasing and comfy. It's the perfect spot to hang out and get your homework done and to study. Great staff too!
Woww......soooo cool
A Wonderful experience.
I love it. The Mangoo Smoothie is my favorite. Cool, nice clean place.
Best location. Extra busy but manageable.
I have traveled around visiting all the "best" coffee shops in the Boston and Cambridge areas. This is my hands-down favorite. The space is great, with plenty of seating and beautiful decor. The scenery outside the window makes the interior brighter and more interesting (I won't tell you what it is so that you'll enjoy the surprise). Most importantly, the coffee is great. The roaster of the beans is a mystery, but the flavor is great. The specialty drinks are also delicious.
. . . I love their double-espresso . . . Frankly, am thinking of trying double double-espresso.
This was the coffee shop I had been waiting to find in my stay in Boston. A local chain that makes you feel at home, has baristas that engage you with an atmosphere that is right out of an Italian style cafe. I will definitely be back and hope that they still have the honey spiced latte.
good coffee shop. they are everywhere...
Maybe there's a legitimate explanation but they literally ran out of soy milk and almond milk today (and apple cider). That's kind of unacceptable... right?
This place is one of the finest coffee shops in Boston. The prices are not too bad and they give you awesome cups which signified the feel of a fresh coffee shop. I had a mocha and even though it took some time to make, it paired well with a cookie which I liked. Overall, there is a lot of seating indoors and outdoors and it's a good place to have some coffee, drinks, and light fare.
Amazing
Unfriendly staff. Spilled coffee and simply didn't care. Too bad, because the cafe itself is clean and good looking.
Nice place for a tea and snack with friends. Seating is comfortable. Power outlets ample. People were polite and chill.
Base coffee was "OK". Didn't get to try the fancy stuff.
The real London niche found at Nero in Boston. The taste of coffee and cake is just a tasty snack. What a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in this cafe. In March on my way to Halifax from Pittsburgh when transited in Boston I went to Nero to have coffee there then back to the airport for my flight back!
Great coffee and atmosphere, but seating is always a hot commodity.
Not really good espresso. But the frappe is excellent
Regular to this coffee shop
Exceptional service from Guesline. Made my day with her personality and small talk. My latte was on point and atmosphere has this intellectual/library feel to it, which I dig.
I can’t find a bad thing to say about this place. Cozy atmosphere, great coffee and fantastic prices.
We stopped at Caffè Nero while waiting for the show at Boston Opera house. Very clean and cordial staff. Everyone who were waiting there for the show were very accommodating as there were not many empty chairs at the Caffè. Finding the restrooms was a game in the maze.
Had black coffee here - it was okay, not that great - George Howell is a better option around the corner!
Nice caffe nero, good servicie
Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere at cafe nero. The coffee was brewed to perfection and the croissants were delicious. Highly recommended!
Good food, however I was hoping to see the people working there putting a smile on their faces
Love this place. So much atmosphere and the croisants are out of this world.
So cozy. Not too loud. Coffee is good.
Best tasting muffins compared to other coffee shops. Most importantly they serve drinks in mugs instead of paper cups which is good for environment. I wish other coffeeshops did this too.
Used to enjoy coming here for coffee on a somewhat regular basis. Unfortunately the staff (managers in particular) are extremely rude and selective when it comes to what customers they treat with respect. Customer service skill re-training desperately needed, also maybe an understanding of what discrimination is and how to treat all people (not just the ones you like best)? When I voiced my concerns with manager he replied "there are other coffee shops in town besides us." Thank you for that, you are right. Why did I ever come here in the first place? Thinking Cup and George Howell are right down the street with MUCH better coffee and service.
Yummy Chai
Great coffee every time and super hard working lovely staff! Nice peaceful spot inside off the busy street with clean toilets.
Good coffee
The place is OK. I like their chocolate muffins and croissant sandwiches. It is usually crowded with students, so it is sometimes hard to find a seat, especially on weekends. The part that I don't like is the attitude of the baristas. Some of them are very moody and their attitude almost borders on rudeness, especially near closing time. Also their practice of asking everyone in line what their orders are while still serving the first person is stupid: they forget what you said by the time it is your turn anyway. 08/04/2019. I still get coffee at this location, but I stopped buying food items here. In my opinion, the hygiene has become unacceptably bad. Here are some examples: the plastic bin of dirty dishes is often overflowing, with bunch of small flies around. The milk, sugar, etc. are placed right next to the said bin of dirty dishes. I have seen many small flies/insects walking on pastry items. And the locks of bathroom stalls are broken. I hope the management is aware of these issues and planning on fixing them.
Nice place to have coffee and work or read a book. WiFi is great. Not crowded on Sunday mornings.
This is one of my favorites, but apparently this time I wasn’t lucky. The staff wasn’t as friendly as they always are in other locations. Ice water was contaminated, but the food (I got turkey cheese croissant) and coffee was great as always. Hope it’s just me and just this time because I really love the place.
Came here for an impromptu coffee stop and got a flat white and a pastry. I absolutely love the atmosphere and could totally see myself getting comfortable here with a book or working on my laptop for a while. Highly recommend!
Mad expensive
Great espresso bar cafe! Prefer it to the other coffee shop chains...
Because the people are friendly and helpful
It is great, it has comfortable chairs, couches, and tables. The baristas are friendly and the food is high quality. They even serve cheesecake and the style of coffee is great. I would definitely recommend a stay at cafe Nero.
Good coffee and specialty drinks, nice environment, friendly baristas.
i was denied food because i didn't have any money, thats illegal
Pleasant people, pleasant atmosphere. All around a nice place. Nero consistently is a good chain for me (Maybe a little pricey but not ridiculous)
We had coffee at the one near Downtown Crossing. This place is why Starbucks exists. Nice setting but completely absent minded and ill trained staff. Coffee ordered extra hot with soy came back barely luke warm with regular milk. Medium latte ordered came back as a small latte.
Great place to study
Very nice traditional Italian style cafe, with a modern twist allowing lots of casual seating but done in that hipster sort of industrial way.
Bad service
Love this coffee house! Great coffee, fabulous staff and such a cozy atmosphere. Oh yes!! Lots of goodies too!
Great atmosphere to meet friend for business or casual conversation. Some good vegetarian options and great coffee
Cute cafe, nice place to work but it does get crowded pretty quickly. food is really good and fair price. very clean cafe :)
Good place for hot chcolate, staff was rude
good place to do some laptop related work
Great location, really nice interior, and a great place to work, study or chat with friends. Unfortunately, the cappuccino I had was just awful, undrinkable. The milk was scalded and I saw when the barista pulled my shot that he used a portafilter that was already locked in from before I entered the place. I get it, not all coffee shops are "third wave", but serving up a good cup should be the first priority of any coffee shop.
Nice spot to stop for a coffee!
Love this place, but their coffee is way too hot.
Nero is one of the best cafes in boston! I've almost went to all its New England branches, it's amazing. The staff in this branch are so great, but only con with this branch is that it's always crowded and busy, it's often hard to find a seat and hard to concentrate if u wanted to study, but I mean it's normal it's the downtown branch soo :P In summary, it's a wonderful cafe!
The staff is slow and not very friendly, there arent many food options and they either serve your sandwiches burnt or frozen, the cheese on my salad one day had mold on it. Its too bad because the set-up / ambiance is very cozy. They make good drinks so if you just need a coffee and arent in a rush then this is a nice spot
Ordered an iced coffee. Was really weak and watery.
Liked the atmosphere and the coffee choices. I had herbal tea and my husband liked his cappuccino. The desserts also looked good but I was full. Looking forward to returning next time I'm in Boston.
Bad service
the baristas at this location take pride in their coffee, also love the gas fire place
My boyfriend ordered a machiato and got a double espresso instead. The service was very curt and they just assumed we were ordering to go, as if to rush us out. The drinks and the place is nice, but the service isn’t.
It's fine. If you drink decaf don't go here, they serve nothing decaf I was told by the staff. The hot chocolate I got instead was flavorless. All the tables were taken at 3pm on a Wednesday, had to stand around waiting to get one. The chocolate cake my friend ordered was dry and also rather flavorless. Basic cafe, nothing special.
What kind of coffee shop that encourages you to do work and sit has no wifi for a week. And when you ask the servers who have no concern they look confused on what you mean. Literally this was a waste of my time when to do work.
Cafe itself: like this Caffè Nero very much since there are a lot of tables with outlets (if you need to work) and also tables next to the huge windows (if you want just talk). Once I waited my friend for 30 minutes and read a book in a single chair. This, you will find your spot. Parking: Very bad. It’s not their problem, this is an air with very small amount of parking locations. Most of customers are students. They always walk. So, it’s not a problem for them.
Good place with 3 hour Wi-Fi
Coffee was excellent
A good place to take a rest when walking around Downtown Crossing. Smoothie was a little bit sweet but acceptable.
It's only getting 4 stars because I know in 2 weeks it's going to be overrun by undergrads and not worth going to anymore.
Good to take coffe
I love this place. It is one of the earliest ones I remember opening up in boston.now there are everywhere. The ambiance is great. As it's in the theater district it's going to be crowded around showtimes including matinees. While I was here i did notice that there were lots of guys and amusing twice I stood in line for the men's room while the women zipped in and out.
There are soo many things I love here, but to keep it short..the smoothies and the caprese panini are my go-to! Not the cheapest coffeehouse, but well worth it!
High quality coffee without the crash
The atmosphere is what you go for. Loved the book shelves and extra antique touches. Seemed to have a good menu for food and pastries too. Coffee wasn't the best in Boston, but it held its own.
Stopped to get a coffee for an afternoon pick me up & because they have Tiramisu. Man behind counter around 1:35pm-2:15pm was very rude & short with customers. After hearing his tone of voice towards customers ahead of me, I decided to leave & go elsewhere. His attitude was terrible & made it seem that customers were a bother. I’m sure coffee is great, but his attitude made for a terrible taste. I give it zero star but couldn’t post this without star rating.
The decoration is nice and the place is amazing. Go there!
Great place to sit down for a cop of coffee and a good conversation. Plenty of space to study too.
Not clean
Todo café Nero é uma experiência nova. O menu é bem organizado, o local sempre limpo, os atendentes sempre dispostos a ajudar e o café sempre quente. Vale a pena experimentar o muffin de cramberry! Ah, o Wifi é gratuito também
One of the best coffee shops I've been to. Great coffee and even better atmosphere! Staff is super friendly.
I came by here to get some work done and enjoy an Americano while visiting Boston. There's a lot of seating but when I arrived around 3:30, most of it was taken with the exception of a few spots by the window and a few seats along the long table in the center of the room. I opted for seating at the long rustic table, where there's plenty of places to plug in. The Americano was really good, the staff was kind, and the place was cozy. An all around solid place for a good coffee
Ordered a frappe and very disappointed, watery and no taste. Not sure how this place can sustain. Need to train staff better.
Fair price and and beautiful building. Just a touch slow
Espresso done right.
Status quo for location in paying for where you stand lol
Customer service is amazing. Staff get the job done.
Just wonderful!
Nice coffee spot. Comfy seating.
A bit expensive. I only came here to get some work done so I ordered tea, it was only ok. The cafe itself was very loud and bustling for a Wednesday around 5-6pm. The other issue I had was that every time someone came in through the door there was a huge draft of cold air and I was sitting pretty far from the entrance. I also noted that there werent a lot of convenient outlets where I was sitting in the middle long tables. They probably only exist along the walks or booths (which is pretty limited considering the amount of people in the cafe at that time).
Super comfortable. Strong WiFi.. Try not to just came out on your laptop all-day and give others a chance..
Good breakfast sandwich, great cappuccino and comfortable atmosphere
My favorite European coffee shop, just as good here as in Italy.
Fabulous coffee shop that I wish was local to be l me. I got to visit on a trip to Mass and picked Cafe Nero over my usual Starbucks. Do not regret. The barista was super nice and very knowledgeable. I tired the cold brew with a touch of honey and it was one of the most delicious coffees that I've had. The atmosphere is laid back and chill, it's not ridiculously bright and very clean.
Love this cafe. Come to read here often.
Rude staff. First visit. Can’t believe how treated. Will not be back.
Great coffee and food, nice place to work if you need to get out of the office for a bit.
Wonderful, foamy hot chocolate made from scratch with shaved cocoa, just fantastic!
The first time I was in there had a very nice aroma of coffee very cleaned place and the service was a+++rating go try them out
fair price. much better than the Bucks. good quality coffee. cozy place. nice staffs. flawless. the only thing I wan to complaint is too many people love this place, I barely find a place to sit. just love it.
Very elegant and relaxing
High quality
Place closes at 9pm on saturdays not 9:30 like google states. Bought a hot chocolate and was told "we're closing in a minute". Literally one minute after a lady and a guy from the staff came to our table and told us that we had to leave. I still was not halfway done. Talk about rude.....Never again.
Favorite coffee shop in Boston area. Multiple locations, great coffee and the most comfy environment especially during the winter. They serve a variety of pastries and sandwiches plus cold lunch options. Ask for their reward programs because for every 9 coffees you get one free. Sounds like a lot but it makes a difference.
Nero has a great energetic vibe that’s a great place to meet friends for a drink or even a small study group. For a cafe, there’s a large amount of seating, but because of its booming popularity in Boston, you might have to guilt hover over people now and a gain to get prime Study seating by an outlet. The desserts are 100% better than your local Starbucks that could never compete on the dessert front. And of course there is the coffee, which is not La Colombe, but holds its own. Sandwiches are fairly run of the mill, but never disappointing, and prices for all are slightly less than DD and Starbucks (about $0.10 less for a small or medium). The service here is quick and friendly and the decor is far more eclectic, interesting, comfortable than Starbucks or cafes opting for a more industrial feel.
Thank you for this beautiful NYE Happy New year to everyone and All staff who make this place nice and warm
Pricey, but really good coffee. I spent some time here before an appointment at Tufts. Comfortable chairs
Apparently a place for the young and the older higher class clearly the likes of me aren't welcome I'll be taking my business elsewhere in time. Disappointment. Restrooms are for customer's only with a special combo lock key code to get into the restroom like many around the area. Not cool in my mind. and I was a customer that I was told no I was rejected. For no reason. It's discrimination not personal preference period.
Great coffee house with solid coffee, food and drinks. Staff are friendly, my only gripe is the cost, but they seem to be doing well... And a new Nero opened two blocks away.
Excellent staff and service. The ambience was great. The overall atmosphere did remind me of Italy. The drinks and food were delicious.
This London based cafe gives you everything you could ask for, from top notch coffee, pastries, and a warm comfy place to sit and chat or work. This cafe doesn't go unnoticed, and is almost always packed. Don't let that deter you, it's well worth the circling around trying to find a table.
Great food and really good smoothies, tea, coffee, and snacks. They have AMAZING baked goods too. I would love to come here again
Fire was off today again. I asked the guy at the register about it, and he said he wasn't cold. I asked if he could turn it on since I walked at this tense and past 3 coffee shops just to go to Nero with a fire. Manager said they were closing in an hour and 15 minutes so he wasn't going to. I asked if it was part of the branding. He acknowledged it is, but said he wasn't the one to turn it off. It's gas so it just requires flipping a switch......
Decent coffee
Awesome set up inside the cafe also great coffee.
Reliable coffee with a calm environment lends this location to studying, but the bathroom situation is horrible. Toilet paper is almost always gone, pee on the floors, etc. I would come more often if they took better care of the bathrooms.
I absolutely love the atmosphere at all of the locations so far. The coffees very good. The staffs always friendly. I could spend so much time in here. Definitely a good place to just hang and have a good conversation or get some work done. They also have pastry’s and desserts that I haven’t tried yet but need to.
The worst. One of the staff is very rude. I ordered ice americano but she made hot americano so I complained it she just put the ice in hot americano lol very upset ....
I love this place.
Okay place for coffee, wish they had more seating for parties of up to 4. Instead they have multiple tables for 10-12.
The new vegan sandwich was extremely bad (Washington St. Boston). It's all the most generic veggies that typically come on veg sandwiches (avocado, roasted aka mushy red pepper, cucumber, and what appeared to be cilantro still on the stems) and that was it. I thought for a second there might have been a thin layer of hummus but I genuinely couldn't tell due to the fact that the bread was sopping wet from having all these wet veggies sitting between two pieces of bread in the counter top fridge all day. My friend and I were really hungry and ate them anyways but the wet bread was just so gross. Another woman ordered it and we watched her sit down and then stare at it and pick it apart looking really unhappy also. Places like this that don't "get it" always resort to some boring vegetables instead of searching for some creative/cheap ways to make a sandwich vegan. Like some mashed spiced chickpeas, tomatoes, spinach, maybe a dressing with the chickpeas, simple stuff, would even be better than what I had today. smh
I really like that place!
Great coffee!
Brand new to the neighborhood. Very clean. Not so full of students and excellent staff.
Good tea delicious pastry and very nice service
Always love Nero. Everything is good. Try the café au lait. Great place to relax for a bit.
Good place for coffee and hangout. They have different options. Its good place to work
Service was bad and very slow but atmosphere was ok and the food and drink were pretty good.
It was great, sitting by the live chimney fire in such a cold Boston day and sipping on hot coffee with Bacci chocolates and company of friends, priceless!
Great place.
great coffee and atmosphere
Great
I’m sorry, but the staff are always fairly rude here and Caffe Nero acts like a low budget chain over a speciality coffee shop.
This Nero is like my second home. I like to work in coffee shops. Nero has plenty of space for that, except for weekends! I come here for the super friendly staff and comfy chairs. My favorite drink is London fog with pump of vanilla. The food is so so, a bit expensive for what you get. It is always crowded on weekends, especially during the afternoon.
The Classico coffee is the best tasting coffee in Boston. I love the staff who are friendly and knowledgeable. They usually have the Boston Globe, NY Times and WSJ available to read. Just a great caffe to chill out and relax!
I have to say I'm very pleased with my experience here at this location for Cafe Nero for the most part. I would ask that maybe more outlets could be added for customers that have electronics that want to stay and study or do work! Otherwise, the service from the employees was great. They are very polite and respectful and I will definitely be coming back again!
A great coffee shop, it gets busy and so finding a seat can be a problem. Their coffee is great.
A good coffee shop with a good Italian expresso in Boston Downtown
We are from France visiting Boston . It's the first time I try the l'obster with ginger and scallion. 3 pounds just 57 dollars. It's very delious. We also ordered the roasted duck canton style and a vegetable. The boss came to chat with us. The service people were very friendly to us. Offered us dessert. Very nice. We has very time in this restaurant. Surly come back again.
Loved the atmosphere and the vintage decor. We stumbled upon this place after our flight and enjoyed some delicious tea and sweets. Also pick up the stamp card! Its valid at all locations and makes you wanna go back.
Great atmosphere, the coffee, espresso is also really good.
We offered cappucino and hot cider, both were amazing! The stuff was nice. We enjoyed authentic interior with book shelves and relaxing armchairs.
Closed way too early for the location right next to so much night life. The seating is cozy, though.
Everyone working there is really nice, and there is ample seating, though I imagine it is PACKED during the school year. Good OJ.
