Best breakfast spot in Baltimore. Chef Will is a fantastic host and made the dining experience that much more special. Breakfast was delicious and served quickly. Coffee is fantastic and is house blend unique to Saturday Morning Cafe. Grab a bag of coffee before you leave. My family and I come to Baltimore multiple times a year for sporting events and Saturday Morning Cafe will be a required stop for all future trips. Thanks Chef Will and we will see you soon.

Andres Moreno

Delicious and friendly! Danny at the front bar was super friendly and gave great Baltimore stories. Definitely worth a visit.

Judy Calhoun

It was great food! Will is Wonderful!

Bianca Bellamy

The food is always great and so is the service. It may take a bit long to get your order but it's well worth it. Great place to stop for breakfast and lunch that won't break your bank!

Joseph Norton

BEST. WAFFLES. IN. BALTIMORE!!!! Got the chicken and waffles- would totally and completely eat another full dish of it and more....after already eating a full dish

James Hedrick

Great atmosphere and food was awesome and delicious. Every plate that passed by me wanted to taste!!

Matt Breyer

Yes, it's a bit of a "hole in the wall", and on humid days, sitting at the bar means dodging condensation dripping on you...but the food is fantastic! It's not a coffee chop. So don't go looking for a latte, this is diner coffee. But get yourself a serious breakfast, that is delicious, generously portioned, and well seasoned. This was worth the walk from our hotel in the rain. I'd do it again!

Nicholas Manzi

Excellent homemade food at a great price! Highly recommend especially if your staying at a nearby hotel.

Sheldon Goudreau

Breakfast only all day, fantastic tucked away gem, food was delicious and hot, service was good. They have tables up and downstairs and a bar style counter, with about 3 tables for outside seating. l went twice while visiting, and will return when i come back to inner harbor. personal note: if you like bananas foster, get theirs, quite delicious. and i can't stress this enough, their breakfast potatoes are so good. my SO also got the apple pecan french toast both times and loved it. she wished more pecans the second time.

Paul Dillick

Decent food, small place

Risie M.

Very good and tasty. Great people working there, friendly and clean. I would go back anytime.

Zach Taylor

Great casual breakfast place. The food is top notch.

mrmnky S

Came with many open tables available, was seated at the bar and ordered. After 25 minutes of waiting, people who arrived before me still hadn't gotten their food and neither had I, so I saw where this was going and left more than enough to cover the coffee and food I never got. For a supposedly quick place for breakfast, it was anything but.

Jeffrey Campeau

Me and two friends came into Saturday Morning Cafe for brunch before our football team (Go Chargers) played the Ravens. Immediately when I walked in I felt at home with the cafe atmosphere. We even chose to sit at the bar instead of a table because people were so friendly. The ladies in front and the cook were incredibly welcoming, but still gave us a good couple of jabs joking around about the football rivalry. The staff was attentive to getting us drinks and recommending several of the food options. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked good, but I went with the Baltimore Benedict. It took awhile for the food to come out which is why I'm only giving 4 stars. The crab cakes weren't big, but they were good. The English muffin could have been more toasted, but it all went together nicely. The country potatoes were cooked well, but I personally would have liked more onion. My friends had eaten our free hotel breakfast, so one of them only got cheesy grits. He said they were awesome. Next time I'm in Baltimore I would definitely come back. Convenient, unpretentious, solid food, and great staff.

stuart pheil

Enjoyed the food service and scenery

phylicia c.

They were too slow we had to wait over an hour for breakfast. They also got our order wrong. So long story short we got up and left.

Ashley Brenneman

Really great local place to get all day breakfast! Has a very local feel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is a little small when you walk in but there is also a downstairs and they seat you very quickly. I had the Maryland Benedict and my husband had the biscuits and gravy, both meals were very good. Unfortunately he already dug into his before I got a picture. The portions are a very nice size as well, I wasn't able to finish mine due to being so full.

Sean Kellner

The berry oatmeal was scrumptious with two poached eggs on the side!

David Rhinecker

Great place to grab breakfast

Rob Washington

It took a long time for the food to arrive. The meals were expensive and the portions were small. The menu was lacking in selections. We also had to find parking. I wouldn't recommend this place.

RC3 Yank

Awesome food. It took awhile as they were very busy but it was worth the wait

Jeff Fox

App says "open at 7am"...better wait til 7:30-8am to be safe. Food was good. Not sure if there's new owners or what, but not the same welcoming vibe from a few years back.

Rosezetta H.

Me and my daugther went for breakfast for the first time. I got shrimp and grits and two homemade biscuits and my daughter she got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Both we're so good and I know those biscuits are homemade Finga lip-smacking good Yummie. No picutures because i was driving and eating....i love yall homade biscuits.

Elise Lynch

Great food, excellent service and price. The wait was not bad. Seated quickly. The waiter was personable and attentive.

Terrika Oliver

Nice spot for breakfast. It's hidden but worth it for a good price.

Debra DeAbreu

My family and I, some of us from out of state, came to this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. Thank you Wade and Danny for showing us the best of Baltimore! Next time we'll also go to Blugrass, Etc!

Kyla Camon

Great place to stop and enjoy breakfast. Their homemade food is well worth the wait. We are definitely coming back!

Holli Marie

One star is too much. Literally the WORST breakfast experience I’ve ever had. They sat us in the basement seating with a waiter who seemed like he was high. He clearly never put our order in as we waited nearly an hour before we flagged him down and asked that we could have them just box up our breakfast because we were already late to a prior engagement. 20 minutes later still with no food or sign of our food in sight we walked out. HORRIBLE PLACE. I will NEVER go here again.

Luis Graciano

The food is great, but when we visited the food took a very long time to arrive. Be prepared for a longer wait if tables are full

Sean OLeary

Great food! Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time! Service was friendly and outstanding! Have to try if you are going Camden Yards. You won’t be disappointed!

Michale Gray

Loved this place! I really enjoyed here. Food was fresh, well prepared and delicious. Prices were fair too. I would highly recommend to my friends.

cely coleman

Food is delicious, clever dishes and pleasant staff! The location is not the best. It's in an alley.

brittaney valentino

Great atmosphere. Great staff. Amazing food. Chicken-n-waffles and seafood benny's to die for.

Nikki Thompson

Poor customer service and bland food. I ordered a classic breakfast meal with scambled eggs, french toast, crispy bacon and potatoes. I couldn't tell from the taste when I was biting into the different items on my plate because all the food was bland and tasted the same. I'm giving 2 stars because the bacon was crispy. Waste of a meal...don't waste your time going here.

Danielle Crawley

Always good food and good service.

Priscilla Kelly

Whoa nelly the French toast was definitely much more than I thought it would be! I wasn't paying attention when I ordered and thought I got regular French toast but instead I ordered the French Toast Dream which was like a birthday cake. Waaaay too much for a weekday morning breakfast but hey it was good!

Crystal Semler

I really do wish this quaint little place off the normal beaten path the best... For the most part, I enjoyed my food today. It was served piping hot & smelled good from pick up. The french fries were fabulous. The chicken BLT I ordered could've been better... they put diced tomatoes on the sandwich instead of slices???? which made for a very soggy bun on the bottom. There were two skinny chicken filets that didn't quite fit on the bread right, so half my bites were missing meat.

Boardin Cuban

Find this place while looking for shots to eat on a business trip. I had chicken and waffles, my coworker had an omelet. We both really enjoyed our selections. Price was very good for the area. The staff was very friendly, and created an atmosphere where everyone was talking as if they were sharing breakfast with a bunch of friends.

michael stokley

Got the french toast dream for breakfast. Its awesome! My son loved the pancakes. Coffee was good to. Nice staff. Great place for breakfast!

Garry Ferguson

This restaurant will always be associated with the most positive feelings for me. The owner is the kindest and most welcoming person I’ve ever met. He makes every guest feel like they matter and he sincerely cares for everyone he meets. He treated my whole family like gold. The other staff members are also highly professional and very caring people. The food was outstanding. The price was beyond reasonable and the experience was one that I will never forget. Thanks so much to the owner and all the folks that make Saturday Morning Cafe the best restaurant in Baltimore!

Selena Pinkney

Stopped here for breakfast before heading home from a weekend getaway and the food was terrific. Prices are reasonable and you can sit inside or outside. It's kinda quaint, but the food is excellent.

Jonathan Horstick

Was here last year and it was fantastic this time waited over an hour for the 5 of us to get breakfast. They were out basic ingredients. One person got their food and it was not even correct. Waited 30 minutes just for waitress to argue with my friend. Seafood Benedict was good we said our piece. The manager was apologetic just felt forgotten and I think it revolved around wait staff. Just some communication would have done it justice.

Nataki Johnson

Seems to be a local favorite in the Baltimore area. Several people at the hotel recommended this as a breakfast spot and I'm so glad we listened. Will definitely return the next time I'm in town!

Loretter Boone

Waited 45 minutes or longer for food. I'm like ok this food is going to be nice and hot. Once food came it was luke warm with hair in the potatoes Informed the waiter. No apology at all. Breakfast was over. And still charged for half thd meal. This place sucks. Never again. Check your food. Sorry

Chan Sohn

Appreciated the feel of this place and especially the service on a weekday morning. Went in with two toddlers, they were willing to turn cartoons on for the kids (Curious George) and accommodate the additional that that come with kids (things like splitting an order of OJ, plastic utensils, etc). The food was great too, the pancakes were really good and so was the Benedict

Duane Rayford

This spot is small, but the food is Southern Style and it’s pretty good.. if you never been or eaten Southern Style you wouldn’t know the difference... but I would definitely come back

Gotham Nite

Great dive restaurant just off the inner Harbor, and open for breakfast. Warm reception from the staff, good strong diner coffee, plus the chicken and waffles were a plus.

Luciano Mueller

Excellent place!!! really loved the vibe here and snacks are delicious..

Frank Justice

Wonderful breakfast nook near Inner Harbor. We brought the kids here for some grub before making the 7 minute walk to Port Discovery. It was a great choice for both the youngsters and adults. The food is solid and notches above a regular breakfast place. We'd recommend chicken and waffles. The breakfast skillet was tasty but on the smaller side, while the French toast dream (see photo) had all sorts of sprinkles, whipped cream, etc. We will come back for the kind and attentive wait staff and an ambiance fitting for "charm city."

William Thomas

The food isn't as good as I expected. It tasted like everything was premade. I wouldn't go here if I was starving on a Saturday morning (or any day) when nothing was open. They didn't have scrapple on a Saturday so that was an obvious sign it wasn't all that

NICHOLE RENEE

Breakfast was beyond delicious!!! We just randomly came across this place visiting from out of town, such a unexpected surprise. Definitely will come back again.

Paul Persinger

I love this place. The entire staff has been extremely cordial every time, and the food is GREAT. It's not fast food, it's real food cooked when you order so it takes a little longer but so good when it arrives. I travel for a living and have a lot of favorite little places around the country....Saturday Morning Cafe is one of them!

Rebekah Macko

Good food, fast, great home fries

Luke E

Best pancakes, best potatoes. Best diner. Period.

Orman Anderson

Got seated and ordered right away and then waited more than 40 minutes and had to leave with no food to get somewhere. Staff were friendly and the menu looked good but they didn't do well managing our time expectations. Only try if you have ample time or when it is less busy.

Erika Ward

My French toast and bacon were perfect, prices were great, and the counter staff were delightful and attentive.

Timothy Smith

Nobody in the entire restaurant had any food, half the tables were empty and they still told us a 25 minute wait for a table, and then a 45 minute wait for food. Avoid this place, the waitress was also obviously tweaking off of something.

DaiLynn Dietz

Really good comfort breakfast food, and top notch customer service. Say hi to Ivan if you get him as a server for me

Andre Roberson

Steak was tough but shrimp and grits were good

Dulceee Godinez

Super delicious southern style food. Nice ambiance. Popular spot. Be ready to wait for a table. The service not as friendly but polite enough.

kamoka gibson

Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious!

Momcilo Gavrilov

I like this place. I occasionally come here for breakfast or brunch. The food is good and affordable. It can be busy on weekends, but on weekdays one usually get seated immediately. I prefer sitting in the main area. The basement has that wet (moist) outdoor.

Tiaga Phillips

Amazing hidden gem

Ashley Peralta

Great Food! The shrimp and grits were delicious and the fried chicken was seasoned perfectly! Cozy atmosphere. Feels like home.

Roberto Pagan

Asked for chocolate chip waffles. They didn’t have any yet they put these strawberries all over them. I didn’t ask for strawberries AND I am allergic to them. So they had to do the order all over again. It wasn’t busy at all yet I had to wait a VERY LONG TIME to get my order. When I received my order the waffles were undercooked. Eggs were decent. Bacon was average. Coffee was old. I will not be returning here.

Kendra Bee

The food was amazing and the staff were great! It’s a cute little place to go.

Kirstie Readnower

While our waitress was very, very friendly and professional, my food was really bad. I ordered eggs Benedict with crab. The eggs weren't poached, they were fried. Instead of Hollandaise, there was just extra liquid yolk poured over the top. That is not hollandaise lol. The crab was gritty and had tiny shell fragments in it. When I pointed out that the food wasn't made right, I got a profuse apology but no other offer to rectify the situation.

Roderick Demmings Jr.

Terrible customer service. Just tried pacing an order and homie on the phone acted like he was doing me a favor. Customer service is experienced before any food is tasted: LESSON. Won’t get my coins.

Matthew Barker

Food was delicious, but we waited nearly an entire hour after our order was taken. Server told us that food is prepped in order and that they were busy (which they were not), but a family of the exact same size received their order well before us, despite showing up 10 minutes after we placed our order. I understand things happen and orders get lost, but the inability to own up to the mistake is what bothered me. We were given a free cinnamon roll while we waited, but overall very disappointed with the experience.

Edwardo Fuentes

This place was very hard to find. Small and we were lucky enough to get there before Saturday morning breakfast rush. Everything went quick there. portions for large and set us on track for a day of Adventure through downtown Baltimore. We had our bill and were instructed to pay at the counter. But for whatever reason we had a hard time tracking somebody down so we could pay and leave. Really enjoy that place

Mr JRR

Good food. Takes forever

robert martin

Great little place

Denise Gibbs

Very cool breakfast place, Danny is the greatest server! He made us feel very welcomed, attentive to our needs and friendly.. Not to mention that the breakfast food is out-of-this-world!!! Large portions, best coffee in Baltimore

Basil Harris

Danny was friendly and accommodating to our (numerous) special requests. Dining with young children isn’t always a picnic, and his impeccable, polite service, combined with the casual, friendly, welcoming atmosphere, put everyone at ease. The food was delicious - simple and plentiful - with everything prepared and served well. I will always be drawn to a “breakfast served all day” spot, and SMC did not disappoint.

Zachary Sparber

Fantastic food and quick to come out! Great atmosphere and energetic staff!

Kristen Anders

Enjoyed this place so much! The staff were so nice and welcoming. They went above and beyond. The blueberry pancakes were so good! Saturday Morning Cafe, thank you for a great breakfast!

Amy Cruz

Small cafe with decent food. I got the chicken and waffles and they were good. My bf got the Benedict and there was barely any hollandaise on it.

Sheri Presley

First time in Baltimore.. this place is very cute.. staff is friendly.. food was divine! I dont understand how it only has 3.9 stars deserves more!

hetty nie

Food was tasty, not spectacular but definitely stellar. They have a pretty impressive variety on their menu. However, the service was pretty horrendous. Watched 2 tables get seated after but served before us. Had such high hopes when the server came back to refill coffee, but only refilled half the table and never came back to finish refilling. Requested additional creamer that was not received. Had to request napkins because none were provided when the meal finally came (about 50 minutes after ordering)

Cecilia Wetzbarger

Although this restaurant is hard to find, it is very good. The breakfast foods were excellent and the service was very good. Costs were reasonable.

Ralph Crongeyer

We waited over an hour to get our food, which was not worth the wait. The waitress was frendly which is the only good thing I can say about this place.

keith temple

My wife and I were in Baltimore for a quick stay. We were looking for somewhere simple but good for breakfast. This is the spot. Kris was polite, efficient and very helpful. The menu contained the staples, but also many Southern favorites as well. The service and food were both quick and the meal was delicious (Alabama loaded grits and bananas foster French toast are both worth a return trip.) This place definitely represents as one of Charm City's best!

Mr. Smith

Food was good, though many menu items were not available during Sunday brunch. No alcohol. No coffee drinks like depicted online, only regular coffee. Service was terrible. The busboys provided better service than the server. Drink refills are charged, but good luck getting a refill. But you can guarantee they will be back quickly to pick up the check! Would not recommend.

Eric

This is the gem in Baltimore you been looking for at breakfast. Southern hospitality with just the right level of energy in the morning. Everyone here will strive to make your experience just right. I love the Southern Biscuits in Sausage Gravy. The waffles also won’t disappoint. The Baltimore Benedict is a great go to if you need a little seafood touch to your morning.

Aaron Faulkner

Good food. Good service

K Verb

Okay at best. Seafood omelet had plenty of crab meat, but it was over cooked, dry and tasteless. There were only two, yes two small over cooked shrimp in the omelet. Bacon was over cooked. Potatoes were excellent. Very disappointed for an advertised all-day breakfast place. Followup: So a few days later, I decide to walk the half mile and give them a second chance, knowing the hours that are posted on the window and online. When I arrive exactly at 2:30pm on a Saturday, It is clearly posted, as I show in my picture, that it they close on Saturday at 3:30pm. The door is locked and I'm told by a wait person just going back inside they are closed. As I take a picture of the hours posted on the window, the manager comes out, obviously wondering why I'm loitering outside taking a picture. He confirms that the hours posted are wrong, and when I tell him I'm writing a post, he invites me in to order. I don't think I would have been invited in otherwise. After my previous experience, and dealing with this inaccuracy, I think another, better managed resturant should get my money.

Matt Handley

Slow service, despite being fairly empty. 20 minutes after we ordered the waiter returned to let us know they were out of what we ordered. My meal was delivered 15 minutes before my brother's.

vanessa swinton

Great Food. Beautiful presentation!

Kevin Smedley

Every time I go to Baltimore I stop here! Small place so plan to wait since you cannot rush perfection!

Sarah Campbell

Great food, cool atmosphere. Tucked in an alley in the down town area. Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. The waitress was friendly and attentive even offering to make us some coffee to go. Wish I could take this place with me back home!

Ray Liu

Excellent breakfast food but they couldn't make a cup of tea to save their life.

Michael Bruchey

My wife and I were in town from Atlanta for a wedding. We found grits in Baltimore! What a surprise and what a great breakfast. Check it out... You will not be disappointed.

Brian Scott

Seafood omlette was super fantastic. Fast, friendly service in a quaint atmosphere.

Aleksandra Rakowicz

Nice service, but in XXI century they should really discover that gluten free and lactose intolerant things are real.

Bernard Russell

It was a nice and cozy place. Food was great and servive wasn't bad at all. Yes, i would go there again.

H Smith

My favorite breakfast place in the world ... the food is beyond amazing and its a go to for me whenever I am in the area ! Shrimp and grits to die for ... the best way to start your day !

Awilda Torres

Food was good. Long wait once seated. The pregnant lady was out of sorts. Messing up people orders. The dude that was doing the seating had it a bit more toghether. Shrimp and grits. Omelette and homefries

Kenny Beans

A Nice place to eat

Sophia Stones

Excellent food and fantastic staff!!! I enjoyed my time here and would love to visit this place again whenever i'll come across this street.

Joel Wagler

We had a great experience! Our server was excellent. We loved our food. Good coffee. The atmosphere is great. I highly recommend this place.

Kyle Sexton

Charming southern feel in here, and the chef takes pride in the craft. My breakfast skillet was served on a wooden cutting board. Everything was fresh and delish. The decor is a bit underwhelming but the food is worth it. If you enjoy a pleasant surprise, give this place a shot on Saturday morning or any other day.

Justin Kuehn

Had a great experience here and their food was definitely worth the wait. The staff member behind the bar was very friendly!

Corey Schimpf

Good food, cute setting.

Lynn Faulkner

Good breakfast but no paper in bathroom, filthy condiment bottles. Go early!

Etyelle Pinheiro de Araujo

This place is amazing! Wonderful food, friendly environment and great service. We definitely recomend!

Julie Czesnowski

Loved this place! Delicious, fresh food and the service was fabulous! Monica was super friendly and recommended some tasty dishes. Would definitely eat here again!

Emmett Grissom

Good food...good people

Mike Klein

Monica was an absolute delight. This hidden little gem was a close walk from my hotel. If I lived here in town I would be definitely be a regular. Visit Saturday Morning Cafe. You won’t be disappointed.

Corrinne Martin

This was a great find for breakast. The place has a really eclectic and local feel, and the menu was really impressive. We tried the shrimp and grits and the apple pecan french toast. The food was unbelievably good and the service was fantastic. Amazing prices as well for large portions of food. We would definitely come again the next time we are in the city and would recommend it to others. If you like breakfast food, you don't want to miss this.

Stefan SchnabsiX

Nice and small restaurant. Nice service and good breakfast (also strong coffee)

Dustin Kauffman

Great breakfast spot

Liza Rodriguez

The staff are very nice and make you feel welcomed! Food is good. I wasn't a fan of their grits, tasted bland. Very affordable place!

Chanda Thomas

It’s a little restaurant rushed away in a corner but they’ve got big things happening in there. The service was immaculate to begin with. Our server Danny was super friendly & checked back frequently. But the star of this review is Chef V. She came in, made a custom order for us and now I’m hooked. You won’t be disappointed with the food or the atmosphere.

Colleen Coffin

We never had the opportunity to actually eat. After waiting about 20 minutes to put our drink order in, we were informed they only had 2 options left. Our party accepted this and waited for the drinks they were able to provide. About another 20 minutes later when we tried to order our meals, they were out of all of our requested items. At that point we politely asked for the check. I thought it couldn't be more than 5.00 for an ice tea and a Pepsi. It was actually 6.35. I tipped an additional 1.00 and left. I can't judge the food as I didn't get any but wouldn't recommend based off of my experience.

Polaire Woods

Cozy atmosphere, lots of cool vintage art, and fantastic food at reasonable prices and friendly staff. Some of the best chicken and waffles I've had! Definitely a great place to visit if you want to see what local Baltimore food and small business is like.

Ronald and Ellen Guggenheim

Excellent food, must go. Great service and fair price.

Meredith Ritko

Friendly staff, quick service, and delicious food. I split both the chicken & waffle (banana fosters style) and seafood omelet with a friend. Both were excellent in quality and taste. Overall a great experience, highly recommend.

Coryn Neff

Excellent and amazing breakfast. Staff is super friendly!

Leana Butler

Nice place great service and good food

Eva G

Awesome spot. Danny our serve was great. Super friendly and welcoming place. Affordable and good breakfast.

Brad Gregory

Good food. Friendly staff.

Alex Meyer

I usually hesitate to leave bad reviews for local eateries, but this one had so many recent 5 star ratings that I wanted to put a warning out. We waited 1.5 hours for our food. I finished my first cup of coffee in the first 20min, but had to wait another hour till I could get a refill. The food wasn't bad, but my French toast only had mounds of whipped cream and no syrup was provided. Unfortunately it was quite dry, and the pearl like sprinkles on top made my mouth bleed slightly and caused my boyfriend to exclaim in pain. Not sure if our experience is an outlier, but as a Kansan who wasted one of my limited chances to try local food this was a total disappointment. I think the manager realized, because he took my receipt from my hand and guided us to the register, presumably to make sure we wouldn't ditch the check. They took 10% off of our $30 for 2 people tab, but as someone who would never dine and ditch it seems very derogatory. Should have paid for the first cup of coffee and gotten breakfast at the starbucks nearby.

JC

Food was amazing. Ppl were friendly. Atmosphere of the restaurant was ok, more like a quick bite dinner vibe. But again, food was amazing... and that’s all that matters.

Richie Goodson

Good food quick service no complaints

Duncan S

A great place for breakfast and good value. Don't go if short on time- very slow. Coffee not great either but then this is the States!

Shawntá Angel Francis

Good food and staff

Lace Riggs

Quaint location and style. Overall, was not a great experience. Walking in, it was a bit crowded, and none of the staff made an effort to greet us. We almost left before being seated, because we thought the host[?] didn't realize we were even there waiting. Not long after being seated, we were ready to make our order, but our waitress came and left with our request for coffee and water before we could even tell her we were ready. She brought the coffee, but not our waters. We couldn't request the water again, because she didn't return to check on us. The coffee was burned foldgers that tasted like the uncleaned pot it was probably brewed in. I ordered the Seafood Benedict, which tasted good overall, but the eggs were definitely overcooked, with no runny yolks whatsoever. The spinach and tomato (one of the things that sets it apart from the Baltimore Benedict) were on the side surprisingly. What was confusing is that my husband's Baltimore Benedict had the same. The only thing that made the orders different was the single piece of shrimp on each egg on the Seafood Benedict, and that it lacked hollandaise. But then again, my husband's Baltimore Benedict lacked the hollodaise. They also were unable to fulfill the fruit cup side that was listed on the menu. The potatoes I ordered instead were well-seasoned, and had good texture. The crab was also well-seasoned, and probably the most enjoyable part of the dish. Unfortunately though, the food was cold. It took about 25 mins for our orders to come out. Throughout our entire visit, the staff were not personable at all.

Gabriel Sarch

Potatoes are the best!! Great service and food.

Jezmynne Dene

I really enjoyed my breakfast here! My food was perfectly portioned, the grits were perfectly prepared, my eggs were spot on, and my veggies were fresh. Everything was made to order and well prepared. I appreciate the fresh veggies; nothing was canned or frozen. The coffee was good, fresh, and robust. The meal was great, yes, but the smiling faces and welcoming attitude really made my day. I had a bumpy introduction to Baltimore, and coming in to bright smiles and kind attitudes set my day up for greatness. I really appreciate the staff, the food, and my experience in this little gem. 10/10 would visit again.

Natasha Dorsey

The food was good I had the chicken and waffles and it was good. The chicken was seasoned well...wish I ordered the French toast though the waffle was a little thick for my liking so in didn't eat it, but my hubbies french toast was delicious and I did eat that, and his bacon lol.

M K

Wow, we went here on a recommendation from staff at our hotel and service was really, really slow. 20 minutes before server showed up at our table, then another 35 minutes to get our food....This was breakfast folks, nothing extravagant! Food was good. Only go here if you have time to spare in case you receive similar results.

Becca Anderson

Great food, good sized portions. Super friendly staff!

Brent Dryden

Delicious food from an inventive menu.

B Yates

I really wanted to eat here during a trip to Baltimore last January for a trade show. We were staying at a hotel just around the corner and it would have been very convenient. We tried three days in a row. Day 1: Not open at time listed on door, but we could see some folks through the window. Day 2: Open, but cook did not show up. Day 3: Again, not open on time. We couldn't wait as we needed to be on the show floor at a certain time. We're going again this year in January and plan to give it one more try.

Rachael Versaw

Had great pancakes here, and our waitress was incredibly kind and made us feel extremely welcome. Very cozy, comfy place to go to

Mark Leney

Friendly and attentive service, plenty of coffee. This is a quiet little place just steps away from the heart of downtown. I ate at the counter and had a great breakfast skillet, but the chicken and waffles seemed popular and there was a range of slightly more interesting than usual breakfast fare, like a smoked fried chicken Benedict. I'll be back.

Eric Bown

I googled “breakfast near me” on a boating trip to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. What a pleasant surprise. Baltimore Eggs Benedict with crabmeat was great. Home fries were different and delicious. VERY friendly little place. Will be back tomorrow.

Sean Scott

Hidden gem in downtown Baltimore. Great food great staff. No complaints, fare prices.

Ernest Watkins

Food was absolutely delicious both my daughter and I enjoyed

K Sessions

I had a phenomenal experience this morning. After speaking with Kris, I decided to try the Saturday Morning dish with scrambled eggs w/ cheese, turkey bacon, seasoned potatoes and french toast w/ banana foster. It came out very fast and was quite delectable. I was able to find a parking spot on the street instead of in a garage ($2 vs $6). Give them a go!

One of my favorite breakfast spots in Baltimore. Make sure you get a loyalty card and collect your visits - you can accumulate points and get free food.

Good and easier to get a table than some of the really crazy brunch places. Basement can be a little warm and sometimes they are a little understaffed (service is good but typically only one person waiting tables!)

Great food, good ambiance, the service could be a bit better, but overall great little find. I recommend checking it out!

Nice little area, out of the way but close to everything. Enjoyed our breakfast

Delicious, no frills Southern breakfast spot. Can't beat the prices. Conveniently located near the convention center right off of Light St.

The food was amazing! I went one early Sunday morning and it was such a great atmosphere.

The food was okay, but the service was terrible. The cafe is cute. Two floors, very hipster. Waiter didnt take my order correctly and we waited a very long time for food. Unfortunately this was not just my table glancing around I locked eyes with a couple who commiserated about the long wait for the emptyish diner. Then once we got food we didnt get any cutlery. In all the cafe certainly has potential, but needs work. Maybe stronger management?

This place is just the real thing and just too awesome.

Really good grits with bacon, shrimp, and cheese!

Very please with the food. The shrimp and grits was really good, served with homemade biscuits on a skillet. The resturant space is small, so we ate outside. Staff was nice, very good food. Working in downtown Baltimore we try to visit different resturants on our monthly food-ventures and this place came highly recommended. We will definitely go again.

Delicious food! AMAZING shrimp and grtis! They serve their own fabulous coffee blends. Highly recommend to locals and visitors!

Went for the 1st time last year and was impressed so much that I wanted to make a trip back again. So not disappointed!! Service was good, especially for how busy they were. Staff was polite and friendly but stern when needed. The food was just as awesome as I remembered. I got the seafood omelet. Decent sized portions, so much I couldn't finish it all. LOL This place will be added to my go-to places anytime I'm in Baltimore from now on!

DO NOT attempt to get take out or delivery on weekends! They do not do that and also will not answer their phones all goes to voicemail with full mailbox. Found that they are open on Sunday and wanted to bring food back for my family so they can sleep in. They didn't pick up the phone so I decided just to walk over to order. Was turned away by the waiter with a "sorry" and no attempts fix their lack of communication. Absolutely one of worst service I have meant in my life and will not attempt to eat there even if food was delicious.

The staff is friendly and attentive, especially Monica at the counter. Mostly counter seating with a few tables. The coffee is fantastic. The French Toast Dream was excellent. The bread was the right thickness, not soggy, and e sliced was plenty. It was topped with fresh, ripe berries and just the right amount of whipped cream. It took a little longer than expected for the food to arrive, especially for another diner whose order was apparently missed in the kitchen. The cafe is a few blocks from Delta Hotel by Marriott as well as others. I'd definitely eat here again when staying in the Inner Harbor area.

Food was pretty good, service a little slow but the waiter was friendly and helpful. The Saturday morning breakfast was good as were the chicken and waffles and pancakes. Definitely try this place out.

The service here was outstanding. If you have India as your waitress, tell you she was highly recommended by a previous visitor. Everyone was very nice, but I was a little turned off by the hostess. At first she was very off-putting, like us walking into the restaurant while it was busy (although we were told it had been busy since 9:00AM and it was now 1:00PM) was a burden. After we waited for a table though, she seemed to brighten up and was very pleasant the rest of the time we were there. All of the staff were amazing, from India, to the other waitresses, to the cooks and even the runners. We were seated in the only table on the first floor and it was right behind the kitchen and also where the dishes were washed because every time the door would open is smelled horribly of syrup and dirty dish water. While India kept assuring us our food would be just a few more minutes, she actually had to come out after telling us a few times and ask what side my husband wanted, so either the fries were pre-made (they were lukewarm and soggy with oil) then I don't think the food was going to be a few more minutes. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his crab cake, but my fish was caked in grease. I don't think I'll be returning. The restaurant is cute, the area is a little hard to find (down some questionable alley ways), the service is great, but the food is sub-par.

Really enjoyed our time here. We were just passing through, on a long journey. Found this nook to be more than a pleasure. We were treated very nicely; food was delicious and prepared in a very tasty manner. Hope we can go back through Baltimore just to come here!

I just sat in there for over 5 mins waiting on a waitress to come over and take my order and they were just standing around doing nothing. It wasn't crowded at all. I watched one waitress seated a Caucasian lady and they all just looked at me like I was in the wrong resteraunt. Maybe because of my skin color but I wasn't treated fair and I have the same thing everyone else has in there pockets. MONEY$$
