Found this great breakfast/coffee shop while traveling from West VA to Maine. Deliciously prepared breakfast of eggs over easy, bacon, and toast. Perfectly sized portions with a yummy iced orange scone for dessert (I know, you’re not supposed to have dessert after breakfast!)

Atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Coffee was good, but i feel the lunch was a little over priced. I ordered the chipotle turkey sandwich which was a glorified grilled cheese. My two choices for a side were either a pickle or chips. I feel that there should be additional options for the price paid. The only reason I stopped was due to seeing their lunch banner. I would've figured it was just a coffee joint had that not been there.

This is truly the best coffee shop in Hagerstown. The espresso is so good and the menu separates itself from traditional coffee shops with its take on traditional Costa Rican meals and fresh backed goods.

I have never had better food in my life! The egg and biscuit sandwich and it was phenomenal! Oh and the Galla Pinta is the bomb dignity!! It’s a great way to start the day and gives you great feelings! The service is wonderful and I’m so grateful for this place I stumbled upon while on my way to work!

This is my favorite coffee place. I have been to a good bit of coffee cafes and their sugar cookie latte is my all time favorite from every place I've been! I have had favorites before coming to this place, but once I tried their sugar cookie latte, that became my absolute all time favorite. I order that with almond milk and it is the best coffee I have ever had! It has a very smooth taste to it. I don't even need to add anything to it. Usually I add sugar or more creamer, but I don't with this :) Locally owned and the people there are so nice! The food there is great also! I love their vegetarian taco salad. Really good and filling! If you love coffee like I do, I highly recommend checking this place out! Great atmosphere and superb coffee!

Pleasant atmosphere. Good lattes, light food offerings. Portions a bit on the small size, but good quality and prepared well. Staff is friendly and personable. Open seating rooms; maybe 10 or so tables for 2-4 people. Good WiFi. Been here twice; will definitely return.

Not sure what you are looking for but it's a good comfortable coffee shop with a good story and cute stuffed sloths everywhere. The menu is based in Costan Rican cuisine, simple but delicious. Still trying to find my favorite blend but rarely disappoints.

This place ticks everything off my must-have checklist for a coffee shop: nice people, comfortable seating option, a nice variety of food (not just pastries!), and very tasty espresso. My husband and I are macchiato snobs and without instruction the barista hit it right on two separate occasions. Yogurt parfait is great- not too sweet and with fresh granola on top. Soup delicious. Pastries good- nothing too different.

This coffee shop/Cafe has a good menu with many house items. The servings were almost too big to finish. Wait staff gathered in the one room we happened to be in and talked almost the whole time we were. Latte was not steaming hot. Waiter offered to put more hot water in to hear it, but it was rather weak to begin with. They have no microwave.

I've always loved the coffee here. The food is good too albeit limited and slighty pricey. However, the quality makes up for the cost. My wife and I drive from the WV panhandle just to get their coffee. I highly recommend people to check it out!

Had a flight out of Hagerstown and hadn’t had time to eat that day. I dread eating fast food and had decided to just wait until getting to my destination to eat. When I walked into the airport I noticed the Pura Vida kiosk I walked over to ask if there were any sandwiches and to my surprise I was told there was a Turkey Cranberry on Multi-Grain bread. While waiting on the sandwich I look up and spy an Orange Scone which c’mon who’s going to turn down an Orange Scone? I purchased both the sandwich and scone and headed through security. Both sandwich and scone were excellent!!! Fresh and prepared to perfection. Thank you Pura Vida for the wonderful food. Full disclosure... I bought the same Sandwich and Scone on my return trip today and both were as perfect as the first time.

Great coffee, delicious food, stable wifi, plenty of parking, and the perfect ambiance for writing or conversing. This is the first coffee place I consider when I need to write since all others in the area pale in comparison. It's calm and quiet but not dead, the staff is friendly, there are plenty of items on the menu to satiate you for a few hours (drinks, breakfast, lunch, snacks, baked goods), and the average patron is courteous and respectful. I think they offer coffee tastings, though I have never had one myself because all of their coffee drinks are superb. (All their non-coffee drinks are also great, especially their lemonades). There are several card games that I always watch people enjoy (Uno is played by someone almost every time I visit) and the tables are always clean enough to bring your own cribbage board, Magic decks, or any other card came. If available, I recommend their honey and clover latte with an orange scone for breakfast, a lavender lemonade and chipotle turkey sandwich for lunch, and plantain fries as a snack. Can't go wrong.
