I was there with my family couple days ago we got some shawama sandwiches with fries and Hummus We took the rest home and next day smelled really bad specially the Hummus and i know Hommus can stay for days with out getting bad! That's mean their food definitely not fresh also very pricey I don't recommend it to anyone and I'll never eat there again

Came in very hungry after a long day of moving, got a chicken shawarma platter and it was excellent, really hit the spot. Refills on sodas are self serve and perfectly chilled. Staff always polite friendly helpful. Brought a friend with me for the first time they got the mixed grill and loved it. Initially when the food came out the bread and garlic sauce was forgotten but was corrected immediately. Only have to go when visiting family in the area, and I've never been let down by their service, food and opening hours

I love this chain! Authentic Middle Eastern food. The one on Congressional Plaza, - is a place to go for a Harira soup. And Harira soup is a sicret ingredient for heppiness, - when I need to talk out problems, ask for advice, or share good news... Yes you have it! I just type the code "Harira?" to my WhatsApp friends circle. It works every time. Despite ... don't laugh, - I am not a soup eater.

It's amazing... the falafel is absolutely the best in North America as well as the hummus. You habe to try the beef Sharma and I can't explain why the rice and pita is so addicting. If your in the mood for or have never had true lebanese cuisine I would very adamantly recommend the Lebanese taverna.

This is my go-to for Lebanese food! The hummus is light and creamy, the pita warm (or gluten-free crackers if needed), I love the Salmon Harra with tomotoa sauce. Delish!

The food is good.. but the service sucks. Ive gone to this location 3 times.. first time was good. Second and this third time not so much. They always forget the sauce.. this time it was a to go order brought home by my bf.. and they forgot the bread and sauces. No garlic butter.. thats like your dog running away. Im so sad. Just go to rockville town square.

The most Amazing food! We like to call ahead since they get busy & there can be a wait. But you can also peruse the great nearby shops while you wait. We also buy soooo much because we love it all ;)

So disappointed with the new location. Also they only moved across the shopping center, however decided to change the menu. I used to be able to buy a container of the shawarma. Was rudely told by the lady working that they would no longer sell me a small container of it. I was then told to drive to a different location that sells the same exact food. You would think a place that has the same food, the shawarma was not taken off the menu, would still sell it. Absurd! I do not recommend you go here. I do hope the manager reads this and reaches out.

They recently moved locations to a smaller space, which was probably a good move for them with the amount of people who are getting takeout at that area. However, everything is a bit more cramped now and they took off a lot of good menu items such as the chicken kabob. Their pita is still great but it might be a good idea to go to another one of their locations if you're looking for their full menu, which is undeniably great.

The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the staff here is still awesome. Same great people from before. But that aside... This place is not what it is was just a month ago. It has been completely changed from the menu to the cramped sizing. I understand trying to save on rent especially in this area, but I got bumped into 3 times while eating at one of the high tables. The menu got rid of all the better food options like the chicken kabob and the salmon. I'm guessing because they took to long, but they were so worth the wait! Sorry pescatarians, no fish here any more. Also worth mentioning that the lady at the table next to us asked to talk to the manager. The nice lady on the floor staff went to get him and said he would be out in a few minute. 15 minutes later he had still not shown, and when the customer asked where he was she was told he left. If your management does not want to hear from its customers, your have a MASSIVE problem in management. We loved this place, but I can easily say we wont be back to this location unless there are some serious changes. Maybe try the one in rockville town square.

Very disappointed in the remodel. Newer is not always better. Less seating, a cold atmosphere, smaller portions, no more "real" dishes when eating in, total loss of warm and welcoming ambiance. We have been coming here for more than 20 years, probably not in the future.

The smallest falafel's that you could ever see anywhere. The soup quantity has become no more than 3 or 4 large spoons. The sauces are kept open and without any refrigration....the open kitchen is messy. Lebanese Taverna used to be much better, cant believe this place is so bad! I always love any of the lebanese taverna restaurants. A local business with helpful, generally friendly employees and where I tend to see the same staff over and over, which is a good sign. I love their roast chicken and the garlic sauce is killer. I can't have the fresh pita anymore but I can tell when dining partners get it that it is just as good as it always has been.

Food is good and seems healthy. Getting your food is weird at times and inconsistent. Sometimes someone brings it to you and other times you have to go to the counter to get it when it's ready. Same goes for your trash when you're done. I don't mind either way I just wish they were consistent with one way or another. Some things seem over priced but there are budget friendly options.

The service has never been good, the man behind the counter is rarely friendly and extremely slow. The woman who has been there forever can't seem to respond to requests for additional condiments after 3 treis. The pita was very stale , the woman agreed, took it away and never brought more! This location seems to be going downhill. I will go back to the one in down town SS.

A great "fast-ish" food option for the Plaza. Their shawarma and kebabs are great and fresh, my kids loved their chicken tenders, and as I'm from Astoria, NY, their roasted potatoes are seasoned just right and remind me of the terrific Mediterranean cafes I used to slum in.

My family used to LOVE this Lebanese Taverna’s food and we’ve been eating there for the past 15 years. We aren’t happy with the recent changes to their recipes. The hummus doesn’t have much flavor and the chicken shwarma is missing the shwarma. PLEASE go back to using your old recipes!!

This was my first experience with Lebanese food. I feel lucky that it was after the lunch rush, and the woman there was kind enough to help me navigate through my options. I decided on the Salmon bowl. It was a good choice for me. The salmon was grilled and not over cooked, and it was served with a slice of Roma tomato, some lightly cooked, but still crisp onion, and a couple of pickled, pink bars of something I don't know. There was a tomato concoction on the side, to dress the salmon, and a very generous helping of basmati rice. Finally, it came with some lovely pita bread and dipping sauces. My request was for something healthy, flavourful and not spicy. Mission accomplished

Very disappointing changes in menu items and overall atmosphere. They eliminated all the good things from their menu: kabobs, kafta and rotisserie chicken. They have completely downsized and turned into a fast food restaurant. The salad is terrible and they have left out spices and toppings that go into the sandwiches. I've been coming here for years and don't plan on returning. It's a good thing other locations are actually still real restaurants and offer all the authentic dishes that this location now clearly lacks. The stars are for the friendly staff and service, but nothing more. Hopefully they will not damage any other locations with these awful changes.
