I've been eating at Doobys for years and it is always great food. Try the Fruity Pebbles Marshmallow cookie! While not really advertised, Doobys also does catering. The food quality and service are just as great as they are in the restaurant.

For coffee: Great! Their chocolate chip cookie is the best in Baltimore. For dinner: Nice casual restaurant but mixed results on the food. We went there for dinner & I got the Korean BBQ Cheesesteak, which was delicious. My boyfriend got a build-a-bowl with rice. The rice was hard, like it was undercooked, which made the whole dish kind of gross.

It's not top world class ramen, but it's probably the best in Baltimore. The pork is crispy but probably could use some time to get more tender. The broth is quite good and the spice level is well tuned. The coffee is fantastic. As a package, this place does a surprising number of things really well, even if it's not perfect at all of them.

Dooby's is a cute little spot that offers a variety of cafe food and Asian inspired dishes. While some of their dishes knock it out of the park (bbq Korean cheese steak, Korean wings, baked goods) a decent amount of the things on their menu are only ok (the ramen immediately comes to mind). Definitely worth a visit but be careful on what you're ordering.

The surprising twist ingredients they add to food is always delicious, and it's a great place to hang out to do work or meet up with a friend. Just try to avoid getting there during the rush times, or it's standing room only. My only complaint is it's a little more expensive than I think it should be, but I get that that just comes with the neighborhood.

food is ok...but having registers set up to ask for tips in this establishment is just ridiculous. I can’t help but think management is trying to make up for low wages . Who even knows if the employees are getting the tips. Regardless, Tips are for servers...18, 20, 25% tips (the amounts easily accessible on the computer screen when it get flipped around) are not for people taking orders at a register and running food (duh).. Who wants that awkward moment when the register employee scowls at you because you didn’t leave a tip ....when you just walked in?

Ordered the pork belly Benedict on a Saturday morning and loved it! A very unique dish - the runny egg, crispy yet soft pork belly, fluffy bun, and green sauce all blended together perfectly. It was the perfect brunch meal. Love the atmosphere here, too. The staff was super friendly and apologized for bringing my meal out late, even though I waited probably only five minutes. The vibe here is relaxed, and the decor is great. Dooby’s is a star in the Mt. Vernon area!

The food here is pretty good and it's a great place to work for a few hours. They have several tables, but a "no laptops" policy that I assume is in place to stop people from just working all day, stealing their excellent free internet, and just having coffee. I had an Asian inspired noodle dish for around $13 with chicken added in.

Dooby’s aesthetically looks really attractive. The service was polite and fairly efficient. The food and drink was decent to good. My iced green tea was excellent. The tea was strong and flavorful and tasted like what it was, real tea. My food was a bit lackluster- but fine. I tried the Korean cheesesteak. Parts of it tasted great. These were the bites that had a good amount of cheese and sauce. But the distribution of sauce and cheese was highly uneven, and so I ended up with dry, bland bites, too. The kimchi potato salad was a travesty though, in all honesty. If they didn’t call it kimchi potato salad I’d genuinely not have known it was in there, it was that bland (literally). It was a fine potato salad, but calling it kimchi potato salad was a bit much. I also had a few of my wife’s crab dumplings and they were lackluster though serviceable. Maybe I caught them on an off day. My brother said it’s a great place, so I’ll definitely give them more chances!

Great food, but very offput by the lack of wheelchair accessiblity, lack of signage for how to enter, and the apologetic but indifferent attitude about the building's 5-step elevator being broken. Luckily I'm strong enough to help my fiance in and get over steps, but no solo person with disability could have gone here.

The coffee is good. The food is great. The service is so spotty. You've got really knock it out of the park friendly people.......followed by incredibly cold people who tell you they are too busy to help you. Last visit better than the previous two. Like the place alot. Just wish that these young employees behind the counter could get their act together, serve guests timely, not goof off flirting and chasing each other, and take the 45 seconds to take an order instead of saying "this is a 4 minute brew" and ignore you afterward. Try the "Morning Glow Muffin"

I am visiting Baltimore and just happened upon Dooby’s. So glad I went in! Had an amazing pork belly eggs Benedict! Dooby’s is an awesome restaurant and the price wasn’t bad at all for what I got. Definitely going there again if I am ever back in Baltimore. Bonus is it’s right by the Washington Monument and a huge gothic church.

Oh my gosh this food was FANTASTIC! EAT HERE. It was a fabulous and full of flavors! I highly recommend the cheese steak. I never would have thought to add the fusion flavors to it but honestly I never want a different cheese steak now. Also the kimchi potato salad was genius. So many clever and yummy options and the atmosphere is very clean, trendy and welcoming.

The food is okay but consistently not well executed, the drip coffee is weak & sour but the espresso is good, nothing on the menu is very good but it is all "okay". They took off the one item which was worth coming for, of all things, a chicken sandwich. Their bite sized items are decent. The breakfast menu always seems to end as soon as I get there looking for breakfast (do all the ingredients disappear at 11am?). Generally disappointed in what could be an inventive, delicious spot.

The food is fantastic, although the menu is limited. The coffee...well, in my opinion, it's abysmal. But a lot of people love it, so it may be worth giving it a shot. The space is a bit small, but they make up for it with a strategic layout and lots of bar-style seating. I always enjoy the atmosphere, but it can get crowded and noisy during lunch hours.

Amazing place to grab brunch on the weekends! Limited outdoor seating and always packed. The pork eggs benedict were my go to so give it a try! People come by to grab a cup of coffee and people watch or work on their laptops. Definitely head over to sugarvale which is located next door to grab a cocktail once you're done with brunch!

Order at the counter and take a number for table service or take out. House made kombucha. Pastry case with assorted daily selections. Espresso beverages. Sandwiches, rice and noodle bowls, salads, snacks, and more. Located in the shadow of the Washington Monument.

I eat here a couple times a month for lunch. I usually get takeout. I've had the Dooby's Burger, the Turkey Avocado Club, and several other items on the menu. Everything was good. I particularly like the Hot Wings, which are also gluten free! I would recommend calling ahead with your order because Dooby's is busy during the day, and it can take 15-20 minutes for your order to be ready. I'm only giving four stars because the quality of the food can be inconsistent - sometimes the food is great and sometimes only good.

I've heard about Dooby's several times, and have been wanting to check it out for years now. My friends and I went after finals; however, we were a bit disappointed. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. However, the food was overpriced for the quality. We ordered two rice bowls, avocado toast, and pork miso ramen. We were very disappointed in the rice bowls, it didn't seemed seasoned properly. Maybe next time we'll try other things.

I really enjoy the food and coffees here, the atmosphere is cool, and the customer service is always amazing. They've got lots of vegetarian options and cool specialty drinks. My favorite was an orange blossom mocha with almond milk. Sounds a little strange but was so soooo good. My one and ONLY complaint is that the sweet potatoes in the 'build your own' bowls are never quite cooked enough. Maybe they could be cut smaller or sautéed or something but otherwise everything is great.

Cut the roof of my mouth on the banh mi, and it bled. Banh mi is not supposed to be rock-hard and sharp, it's supposed to be crusty and flaky. Generally, it's all too expensive. My partner once spent 8 dollars on ONE cup of coffee somehow. Every beer could be a dollar cheaper. Positive points: staff is very nice and professional and the place is clean and pretty.

Great cafe. Good food and amazing pastries. Can get a bit crowded, and not a ton of table seating. Good for a quick lunch or dinner, not so good for a long stay. In particular, it’s not great as a work cafe, because they strictly limit the hours during which you can use a laptop at their tables. But all in all, a nice neighborhood spot.
