Went for cat yoga on a Sunday morning and the cats really delivered! There were cats everywhere as we did a simple, relaxed yoga routine. The instructor was great, and it was nice to get time with the cats after, which was particularly worthwhile because there were only 8 of us in the class so it wasn’t as crowded as I hear it can be otherwise.
Had a great date night here! Totally worth the trip and the money. What a great place to support. We did the kitten experience and they were just so cute.
Nice relaxing hour at the cafe. Lots of cats to cuddle with. Some will come sit in your lap, others are very playful. We had a great time!
Truly inspired by the work that Crumbs and Whiskers does
Love this place. Great for cat lovers. We went to celebrate my daughter’s bday. She loved it so much. Staff is friendly and welcoming. They do great work rescuing cats and finding them homes. I wanted to take them all home ... if only our apartment allowed it.
Lovely staff, lovely cats, lovely afternoon!
If you're in the Georgetown area you should definitely come here for a lunch or a quick snack, the introduction was quick and informative, every cat had its individual personality and they are all absolutely lovely, I never wanted to leave, it also smelled really nice and the majority of the cat cafes I've visited smelled bad but this place smelled like lotus leaves!! Come vist crumbs and whiskers to experience fun for the whole family!!
Wonderful place and wonderful people. Over 1700 cats rescued. Brilliantly done, clean, and awesome to hang out with adorable kitties. I cannot recommend this more
So much fun! The cats were super friendly
Awesome friendly experience, full of lovely affectionate cats and kittens, with a clientele and staff of diverse hipsters!
Service was great. Cats could've been friendlier/less lazy but what can you do? Lion & Bronx were great. Abby eventually tried to kill me (not really) and the food/drink service was on point.
Awesome place with an even better mission!. ❤
The nearly stark white everything gives off a sterile feel. Staff were great but they need to improve the decor.
I think it’s a great place to see cats but honestly there’s really not much to do other than sit and play with like one cat because there’s too many people in at the same time. They should add more places to sit, although the place and cats are cute, the price is not.
Saving cats from euthanasia! Play and pet cats for a whole hour! And you can get coffee delivered to you. They also do private events. What more can you ask?
Really nice place and the staff are lovely. It's obvious how much they care about the animals. Went as a walk-in late in the day and they wouldn't let us pay when we went over time. Of course, the cats are really sweet and loving too!
I love this place. If I were able to have a cat right now, I'd adopt from here. It's a great environment to see a cat's real personality before bringing them home. (I loved Tyrion - he would be perfect for someone who already has a cat at home. He gets along with everyone and hardly reacted when another cat pounced on him.)
Such an awesome place. My 70 minute experience passed to quickly. The cats are happy, plenty of space to interact with the them. Has 2 floors of cat experience space. Spotlessly clean. Today there were 28 cats there. They can handle up to 35. All cats are up for adoption. The DC location has adopted out 620 cats so far. A great way to spend a day.
A somewhat constantly changing cat "cafe" in DC. I've been twice. The website was misleading the first time giving my friend and I the impression that we could order drinks and food. The first time there was free basic beverages and then pastries for donations. Second time they took orders and ran them over to local place. Cats are as expected.. Not skittish but also not really interested. Still a good enough time if you just want a place to sit and read or sit and chat with a friend.
It’s amazing! Cats and coffee what else can you ask for.
If you are a cat person you must visit this place
I love this place! The cats are adorable
I've been here a couple times and it's always a pleasure. The staff are friendly and attentive to any guests. And there's nothing like spending your time surrounded by cute, adoptable kitties
Through their website I was able to make a 1:30pm Sunday reservation fairly easily. Online waivers were quick & easy. When the weather forecast called for nearly a foot of snow I emailed them & got a reply within 24 hours. Parking in Georgetown can be tricky but we found a parking garage a few blocks away & enjoyed the scenery on our way over. The title cafe is a bit of a misnomer as due to health code regulations they can’t prepare the food & coffee on site. They partner with a local cafe & make runs every 75 minutes or so. The iced mocha I ordered was better than Starbucks & roughly the same price. I’d order it again. Even with two other multi-person reservations at the same time I felt the price was worthwhile. The staff are friendly & genuinely care for the cats in their charge. The location is small but cozy. They had far more cats than I expected & nearly all of them were up for adoption. They had a decent mix between cats taking a nap & cats ready to interact. For a cat lover this was heaven. I’ll definitely return.
Such a lovely mission and gem in Gtown!
I've been following Crumbs and Whiskers for sometime now, and I'm so excited to see it's been doing well! I visited a few weeks ago for the first time. Obviously the main attraction is the cats. They all have their own personalities and they're a joy to be around. When you step in, it feels like you're coming home. It's very comfortable and relaxed. The cats are fairly friendly and will come up to you on their own terms and own time. My advice is to never, ever force yourself onto a cat unless if you want a bad experience. If you're patient, you should have a nest of kitties around you in no time. I had a Chocolate Milkshake, which was phenomenal. It was a great treat after walking in the sun for a half hour, haha. Some of the food and drinks are out sourced for health reasons but they aren't terribly expensive. The employees are very helpful and courteous. They try to explain all of the cats' personalities, what they enjoy, and will even try to encourage them to play with you. My only complaint is I wish I could stay there for more than an hour!
This place is pretty cool! I don't like cats as much as I like dogs, but I went for my wife and I have to say it did not smell like cat urine which I was very surprised by. The place is two floors and well maintained, the cats are well taken care of and I they really enjoy cuddling...maybe too much. My only complaint is that because cats are lazy and selfish you should not expect them to be all over you. Be prepared for them to do their own thing, you may not get as much action as you expect.
This is really neat idea but when we walked in the ammonia smell was overwhelming. Also, some of the cats had runny eyes. I'm sure this place is doing great things, but they need to do something about that smell.
Wonderful experience and a fun little acitivty! The booking and checking in process was quick and easy. Staffs were really polite and sweet in making sure we knew all the information. They helped us getting to know each cats by their name, favourite toys, and habits!
Such a great concept! The cats get to roam free in a space built just for them. I had so much fun playing with all the sweeties and hanging out with friends. They have board games, plenty of seating, and the coffee and macaroons are phenomenal!
Loved going to Crumbs & Whiskers for the first time! Reserving a time was super easy online, and they also have walk-in options. We checked it out last Friday evening and definitely plan to go back in the future. The inside decor is absolutely adorable and the staff was very knowledgeable and knew all of the quirks and personalities of each of the cats. They clearly love what they do and wanted patrons to enjoy themselves and have a great time. It was so much fun playing with the cats -- next time I go, I'm hoping to adopt!
The staff are excellent and devoted to helping abandoned anomals. No walk-ins, scheduled sit down only. Worth the wait and necessary pre-planning to snuggle up with sweet cats and maybe adopt one!
Great place to relax and play with cats
I've been to one cat cafe before this, and was upset to find that the cats there were mistreated, and only cared about food because it seemed like they were undernourished. Here at Crumbs and Whiskers, each employee knew and cared for each cat, and the cats were clearly kept happy, healthy, and allowed to roam free and play. If I had had the money, I'd have adopted one of the little furballs on the spot. Cannot recommend a visit enough - highly therapeutic.
We love Crumbs & Whiskers and always look forward to visiting while we're in DC. The have plenty of cats to snuggle with and they are all up for adoption - which makes it hard to leave without one. If you pre-order coffee you get it much more quickly but it's hard to drink when your hands are busy giving homeless cats love, so we usually just take ours to go anyway. People are usually friendly here and excited to be in such a great place, so it's always a fun experience.
Loved this place and the people working there. The cats themselves were super sweet and fun to sit with. I find cats really relaxing so this was a good trip. I love that they’re taking care of shelter cats and making sure they’re loved. Overall, a wonderful place that’s super cute and fun.
Lovely location full of adorable cats. The macrons and coffee (from and outside cafe) were both high quality. We went for a mid afternoon reservation, and make if the cats were a bit tuckered out, which many more snuggles, but less interactivity. If you want them lively, I would imagine (but can't personally attest to) that an earlier reservation might be better.
Crumbs and Whiskers is a great place if you like cats... Actually it's a good place even if you dislike cats. I don't like cats a lot and I loved this place the staff was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend going here
Went for a special event. The cats were adorable and the staff was super friendly. I will be coming back.
I never thought sitting around petting cats would be so fun! The staff were kind and helpful and gave good advice about interacting with the felines. Given the wide range of cat personalities, there was a cat that got along with everyone. It was a surprisingly delightful time!
An interesting experience, cats, coffee, macaroons, etc. It's all for a good cause!
So cute, so relaxing, and honestly well priced for the value of the time I had. I also love the work the cat cafe does to save the cats and I’ll definitely be coming back!!
This is a golden business model. By donating a modest fee you can nuzzle and cuddle love-hungry kitties till your covered on cat hair. Not only does your donation keep the kitties fed and healthy, but it promotes adoption efforts, benefitting the cat community at large. If you are a friend to felines, you should frequent Crumbs and Whiskers.
By far the best Cat Cafe I have been to. The atmosphere is so peaceful and everything is spotless and cosy. I love their day pass idea for remote work. Such a wonderful experience!
The employees are very nice and welcoming. The cats are playful, and enjoy interacting with people. The interior design is very clean and modern as well. The food and drinks are not made at the cafe, but they are still good. Our visit was overall very pleasant. I just wish the cafe was bigger, when we went there was a huge group of people and it was hard to find seating and was very crowded. Appointments are definitely necessary! Parking is a little hard to come by, so you may need to plan to spend some money at a parking garage a couple blocks away.
All around great cat cafe. The cats are awesome and so is the staff who show genuine care for the cats under the care.
Such a great place to come and chill with cats. Staff are great as well .
Worth it if you need your cat fix. Great friendly staff and amazingly chill cats.
Very fun place! Exactly as advertised. Staff is very friendly and caring of the cats and people. Cats are very cute, and pretty friendly for animals that's are messed with all day. If you like cats well worth the money and time. Coffee was good too!
Wonderful place to visit and they are doing such a wonderful service saving cats
too cool, a cat friendly cafe! wish I could find a dog friendly one too. make me wanna own a cat lol
This place is horrible! The lady at the front desk was really rude! We drove there an hour with my friend and didn’t even get to go in because they were “booked” even though the place was empty!!!!
We had a wonderful experience at Crumbs and Whiskers! The staff was so friendly, the cats were adorable, and the facility was instagram worthy! The staff offered us a free visit next time because of a party of children during our booking, which certainly wasn’t necessary, but really a nice gesture! We had so much fun, and it was definitely worth the money. Make sure to book your party ahead of time. You’re in for a great time!
Love the cats! Good food. One of the cats was a little aggressive though.
What a lovely place! They truly love their cats who all seem extremely happy. It's a great environment for these kitties who are all looking for their forever homes. I think it's a little on the expensive side as it's $22/70 min and then coffee drinks come from Olivia Macaron and are about $5 and not that great, but it's all for a good cause. I'll definitely be back.
Horrible customer service. Super disappointed.
My daughter loves, loves, loves cats. I liked that there wasnt the typical odor that there is in a cat cafe. There were several cats and I appreciated that they identified the fiesty cats. There were several places to sit and cuddle with them.
Cute little place. I got my cat fix. All cat lovers' paradise!
Khy and her team were amazing! Adopt Merlin!
What a lovely place to spend a cozy afternoon! Cats are friendly and pretty, and staffs are nice as well. Would definitely go back! I hope we can get more cat cafes in the DMV area! If they lower the price I would go back more frequently lol
Fantastic idea. My girlfriend and I quite enjoyed it!
Lots of fun. Soft, cute, fuzzy kitties were everywhere. Unfortunately, most of them were sacked out during my visit. Great staff that are very friendly, communicative, and clearly love felines. I had a good time and would do it again.
Cats and coffee what's not to love! The establishment I'd well run by a staff of individuals who genuinely care about their work. All cats in the building are up for adoption so the staff does a great job of making sure these felines are well taken care of and putting their best paws forward! The coffee comes from an off site location but the staff takes your order and goes and picks it up for you. It is fun to sit around and play with the cats, more so if you're in the market for a cat. I can't see myself going back often but it is definitely a fun experience!
The staff were lovely, the service was exceptional, and the cats were very friendly. I've been to many different cat cafes the world over, and this tops the list.
It was so much fun! The staff was very sociable and friendly. The cats were all cute, of course. And the coffee was delicious. I definitely recommend it to anyone in the DC area who loves felines.
Cozy atmosphere, cute cats, staff/volunteers that know all about the kitties.
The cats were very friendly, and always open to a cuddle! The staff there put collars that tell you boy, girl, or a bit sassy. They have a comfortable lounging space to really bond with the cats, and you can even adopt one. I loved it, and I think you would too!
Lots of cats to interact with. Staff has a great handle on things and made it a nice experience.
fun and relaxing! adopted my kitty from there!
I can't have a cat because of my lease, but having time to spend snuggling these sweet kitties made up for that! The cats were so great and the staff was clearly made up of cat-lovers. Met some cool people and I'll definitely be back!
So friggin cute
Are you a cat lover? This little Haven is a must!! A multi story storefront, it houses approximately 20-30 kitties that are spoiled rotten with pillows, beds, hammocks, perches and shelves. You need to pre-register for your 70 minute time slot and can then wander among the felines, petting, playing and watching. There are toys for interaction, too. Don't bother with the cafe part - it comes from outside the building and is a distraction rather than an addition. Great for out of towners who miss their kitties!
The East Coast sister cafe to the one in LA, this is a cat cafe in Georgetown that lets you play with cats and potentially adopt them. You can use toys, pet them and enjoy treats when you visit. While you can do a walk-in appointment, it's easier to go online, book a time and fill in the waivers. It also skips the line, which sometimes forms outside! A 70-minute visit is $22 each, so it's not cheap. But it's worth each visit to see the kittens and know they're getting loved and will find homes. All proceeds also go toward caring for the cats and helping them get adopted.
My son and I visited for the first time today. I've wanted to take him for a while, but had to wait until he turned 7, the minimum age. He is obsessed with cats and I thought he would love the opportunity to hang out with a room full of cats. I love that it supports a rescue organization and I think it's a great way to help socialize the cats and prepare them for their future homes. I asked my son which was better, Hershey Park or Crumbs and Whiskers, and he said Crumbs and Whiskers! He wished we could stay for longer than an hour. Remember that this is DC, it's an old city and the buildings are generally small and there's no where to park. I think they did a good job creating seating for the space and limiting the number of guests for a good cat:person:seat ratio. Also remember to reserve online in advance and fill out the waiver!
Very nice and alternative place to adopt your new feline friend.
The cats were so friendly. And the staff was so amazing.
What a wonderful way to relax than to spend an hour or so with kittens and cats
cute
Greatest cafe I have ever been to
We adopted two cats from here. They love their cats.
My daughter booked an hour with the cats as a gift to me for Mother’s Day. Wonderful experience! I love cats so much I hope I can adopt them all! The staff are top notch! Good job, more power, and hope more and more cats are saved and adopted.
This is an Extremely Awesome, And Friendly Place ! I Completely Love It. What I Would Love More About Crumbs And Whiskers Is If It Opened Up More Places Especially In Arlington, Annandale, Fairfax, Falls Church .. Etc Because there's quite a lot of happy customers talking great Things about this place especially about wanting to work For this perfect place while helping out with the adorable Kitty's-problem here is that it's not in some people's area . And You would be helping out lots of Cats while in Business.
I love this place! Kitties, drinks, great staff.
Excellent way to desired and support rescue cats.
This was my favorite place ever. The cats are so lovely. They were super duper sleepy but it was understandable. When they had their rest they were lots of fun and totes adorbz.
The best hour spent with cutest cats. Clean and very inviting. Cats are healthy, well taken care of and very friendly. They love to play with the guests. There is plenty of cat toys to entertain kitties. Staff is very friendly as well. Will come back soon.
We had an amazing time. The set up was great, the staff is fantastic, and (of course!) the kitties were so fun!
If you love cats & haven’t been here then what are you waiting for? Go meet and interact with rescued cats (do make a reservation for either 15 mins or an hour, visit website for more details). You get to play, touch and cuddle them but can only pick up few of them (staff will let you know). Staff is super friendly & enjoy coffee while you are there. When I went, there were 44 cats if I remember correctly. Had a great time, looking forward to going again.
Love it here! Great to chill and rewind by relaxing next to cats. What can be better? Awesome staff and great mission.
This place is great. Great for families and kids are ok too as long as they treat the cats with care and are supervised closely. There's an orientation in the beginning then they go around the corner to get your drink orders since they can't be prepared in the building. Staff is friendly too and professional. Would highly recommend for date nights or families. Was so impressed I ended up adopting on their cats.
AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING.
A place where you could hang out, drink coffee, eat macaron, and play with kitties for a good cause. What else can anyone possibly want??? The kitties are in a better mood the earlier the day, so go early.
Service was great and employees were very friendly. 10/10 Experience!
This is not a real Cat Cafe. Extremely overpriced for a 75 minute slot to hang out with cats. The room is very odd and uncomfortable. I've been going to these cafes since they began popping up in Asia, and this one was full of itself and weird so I decided not to stay long. Cat cafes should be relaxed and interactive...sip your coffee while a cat comes by to say hello, not some weird room with toys that smells like a changing table doused in febreeze. $22 just to come in? Get over yourself.
This is a wonderful concept of combining adoptable cats with a Cafe experience. The staff are delightful and of course the cats are amazing. It's a purrfect place to relax and enjoy some kitty cuddle time.
All the cats were well taken care of. I enjoyed my time here a lot. It was a good way to conclude my trip to D.C. If you need to relax this is the place to go.
My daughter loved this place. She had a good time with her friends.
Adorable cats, wonderful place to go to relax. The drinks are pretty expensive and there isn't really any space to wait if you get there early, but other than those small details this is definitely worth checking out if you want to spend time with lovely, friendly cats.
The best place I’ve ever visited the cats have so much charisma and personality and are relaxing to just be around
This place is so fun. Just chillin' with a bunch of mellow cats. They also adopt out the cats. This is about an ideal a way to get to know a cat in a stress free environment before deciding which one is a good match for you.
I could go on and on about how amazing this place is. They have the friendliest cats and they're all adoptable. They help rescue a lot of cats and even if you're not looking to adopt you can help by going to play with cats!
I love that all of the kitties here are up for adoption! It is a great way for someone to find their perfect feline companion.
Giving Southwest Virginia cats a home - loved this place!
I had such an amazing experience! I don't normally write reviews but this place is so special so I had to share. The staff were all very friendly, professional, and willing to help, from telling us about the different cats to picking friendlier ones up to being to guests to taking pictures (they walk around with a Polaroid camera and you can take home the pictures they take of you!). The cats themselves are very friendly and well socialized; the "sassy" cats (as described by staff) that may not like sudden pets and attention are also marked with distinctive collars to help guests know to slow down when approaching them. The place itself is also very clean and the decor is so cute! I had such a fun time relaxing, playing with cats, taking photos, and texting my sister if she was jealous (the cat cafe in our hometown is like a dump compared to this place!). I love that the cats are all rescued from high kill shelters, so when you visit not only are you supporting a fun small business, but also a philanthropic cause. I will definitely stop by again next time I'm in DC and bring a friend.
Did the cat yoga experience and had a really fun time! It’s exactly what you think it is, yoga session with a cats all over the place. It’s very lighthearted and fun not at all means a serious yoga class. You’re encouraged to take videos and photos and pets the cats while doing some yoga poses in between. The instructor was a super nice guy and made it fun. Afterwards they transformed the first floor into a little lounger with comfy fluffy pillows and music where we got to spend more time with the kitties. I think it’s plenty of time and I was happy to know I helped love you for some of their food and litter etc. will def be back and bring more guests with me!
Lovely! My husband brought me for my birthday. I enjoyed it so much. Food was a bit pricey, but it was worth it. Everything and anything to help the kitties. I loved them so much, they are all so well socialized. I miss Tay, I hope he is doing well.
Great fun! Most of the cats are friendly and playful. There are a few that you need to be a bit cautious around, but they're labeled with a special collar. They limit the number of people inside so they won't overwhelm the cats, so make a reservation in advance.
They were amazing I totally recommend 10/10, the staff and cats were sooo friendly. Definitely going again!
I'll be honest. I only came here because my date LOVES cats and I wanted to take her somewhere nice. This place has a very friendly staff that you know loves and cares for each and every cat. The cats are all up for adoption and are pretty cool. Just. Don't play with a cat's belly, or else you'll end up getting mauled like I did.
Fun place to go and have coffee with a bunch of playful cats. Friendly staff.
I am a cat lover and this was heaven!!! If there was a $1million prize or going to crumbs and whiskers free for 1 year I would choose crumbs and whiskers!!! I love captain Morgan!!! He is adorable!!! I would recommend this place definitely! The olny thing is the shirts are a little overpriced but you don't have to buy a shirt because the give you free crumbs and whiskers stickers!!! We stayed there for 70 minutes and it was the best time of my life!!!! I loved the stafff they are sooooooooo nice!!!! I hope all cat lovers get a chance to go here!!!
I'm in love
Crumbs & Whiskers is a super cute and chill environment. Small venue but two floors and controlled amount of people per booking. A great variety of cats, some who like to snuggle, some to play. I like that there are lots of areas for the cats to go if they don't want to be pet. Fun place and a great cause!
Nice place. Don't care so much for the wait outside.
Friendly staff & cats of course, fun place to hangout & meet some furry friends while sipping coffee!
Purrrrrrfect place for my fellow cat and animal lovers. Took my baby sis (13 years old ) for her birthday and she had such a blast. Staff was super friendly and the kitties were amazing. Thanks for a fun time.
This place is super fun! The staff are kind and really knowledgeable about all the cats in residence and the mission of C&W in saving/placing kitties from kill shelters. Would highly recommend a visit—especially for felineophiles!
Had a ton of fun here! Cats are all friendly and adorable. 75 minute reservation block works plenty fine. Drinks and snacks do take a while to come out.
10/10 would recommend
Great place to simply relax!
It's a little weird at first, going somewhere with a bunch of people all following cats around & playing with them, but it's pretty fun. The cats are all quite used to people & don't mind petting at all. The cafe only has coffee that they order out from somewhere else, and it's pretty good, so don't feel shy ordering it. For actual food there are several places in the same street that all serve food at good prices.
What a wonderful experience. The staff were as wonderful as the cats
It is really relaxing and the cats are sooo cute and friendly. I really like how they take care of the cats and adopt them.
Definitely worth the price of the ticket if you are a cat person. Bought tickets as a birthday present for my mom and we loved it. The staff are great and the cats are sweet/friendly. Makes you want to bring one home. Drinks were a little pricey but we were mostly there for the cats so it was still worth it.
A fun unique place to go with any cat lover. They have like 25 cats that are well taken care of and knowledgeable store employees. The cats are from shelters and can be adopted. Highly recommended!
It's a AMAZING place! Great for a date. Cats are very sweet and you can adopt them!
Great staff, tasty coffee and adorable fine feline friends!
Pure Bliss! Cats everywhere
Very heartwarming and altruistic outing. Staff is so friendly and inviting you will want to stay!! Please give them your kindness!!!
Coolest place ever if you love cats and coffee!
I got to hang out with cats. What more can a cat lover want in life. Staff were friendly and engaging.
Love this place! Went for the first time and adopted my cat from here!
incredible passionate friendly staff that know all there is to know about cats and clearly love their jobs. The cats run the gamut personality-wise, so there is one for everyone to fall in love with. My absolute favorite coworking location EVER, I just wish they opened earlier so I could stay longer!
I had a great time here. The people and cats were great!
If you love cats, worthy causes and unique experiences, this is the perfect spot for you. I found this place thanks to Yelp that's relatively close to the hotel I was staying in for a conference. Basically, it's a speed dating service...for cats. The owners have saved these cats, about 17, from an untimely and unfair fate had they been left at the shelter. All of the cats are adoptable but for a small fee, you can enter and socialize with them with no pressure to adopt . The fee goes towards the upkeep of the cats/business. You make an appointment ($18 for 75 minutes) and arrive a few minutes ahead of time to get the 411 on the do's and dont's. You may play with them, pet them and take photos (without flash), but unless they're in one of the baskets, you're not allowed to pick them up for your safety. Oh, and please don't wake them! If you choose, you can order from a menu of a little place down the street that sells macaroons and coffee. The workers go out and bring it back to you so don't forget to tip them ! Glacier was one of my favorites. She's a diva, and she's tailless, but that doesn't take away from her cuteness. I was super excited to get the opportunity to visit Crumbs and Whiskers and wish them all the success. I hope all of the little kitties are adopted soon to awesome homes.
If you like cats, seriously this place is a must. Each visit lasts about 75 minutes. You can order drinks upon arrival, but they do NOT make them onsite due to DC health codes so they will take your order, close off orders, and go get them for you. ALL of the cats here are up for adoption, so if you fall in love with any of them, feel free to let one of the employees know and they will walk you through the process. The employees here are amazing. They do know each of the 20+ cats that are there and talk to you about each of their personalities, how to interact with each one and where they came from. During our visits, there were 2 cats that came from Kuwait, and 2 from Afghanistan. The youngest cat here is about 5 months old and is absolutely adorable. Reservation is a must! Honestly, the worst part about this place is emotionally detaching myself from the cats before leaving.
Only stopped in to see what it was all about, because we happened to pass by. Gotta say, I thought it was a bit unusual, complicated, and expensive. Need a reservation to pet a cat, for which you also get some coffee or something. Clearly I didn't take in the sales pitch too well, but not my thing, for sure.
Me and my fiance can't have animals in our apartment but we love animals! This place is great to grab a good snack or coffee and play with with some cats or kittens. I love how clean the environment is and it definitely makes the cats feel safe and well cared for! The staff is really friendly and I love that you get to take a Polaroid home as a memento! Great place!
SO FUN! Visited on a sister date and had a blast chilling with the cats and taking pictures. It is less of a cafe and more like someone's fluffy living room. They don't make the coffee, drinks, or macarons in-house, they have to have their employees actually go across the street and get what you've ordered, which is why they ask you to get to your appointment 10 min early. Our drinks were really, really late but they comped all of our refreshments completely and gave us a free voucher for another visit! Very hospitable of them. It's clear that the employees love what they're doing, and that the cats are taken care of
Reserve your spot online for an hour of CAT TIME! There were over 25 cats spread out over 2 floors for petting and playing and snoozing with a limited guest list.
I absolutely love Crumbs and Whiskers. As a cat lover, my friends recommended it to me, and I checked out the website. I immediately wanted to go. I had an amazing time! The cats are adorable, the food is very yummy, and the staff was friendly. I also think that the concept and idea of a cat cafe is wonderful. Helping local shelters by taking some of the cats and putting them in a fun and engaging environment is a great thing. I also noticed that all of the cats in the cafe seemed very content and cheerful to be there. It was such a happy environment. The decor is really cute, the cats are of course really awesome and overall I just loved it. I plan on visiting again in the near future!
The staff was amazing and all of the cats were very friendly. The coffee was good too! Hard to leave without taking one of these guys home.
Interesting place. Staff was friendly and really seemed to care about the cats.
So much fun! Loved playing with the cats, it is a good way to relax after work. also good if your looking to adopt.
The seventeen cats here were so amazing. Very willing to cuddle or play. They have lots of toys, and the employees there know each cat's favorite way to play.
Love the cats! I love to come here and relax.
Such an amazing place! Great staff and lovely kitties, would definitely go back
I forgot about Crumbs & Whiskers and it being located in Georgetown. I stumbled upon it while yelping for coffee so I decided to check it out to see if I would be a good cat lady in the future. It's been open for over a year so I thought no reservation would be needed, but I was wrong. DC still has plenty of cat lovers because it was pretty much booked up all day. They let me go in for 15 mins., for a small price ($5). It's a great place to chill for an hour and drink coffee and attempt to play with cats. Its two levels, but place is small. Because they're adoption cats, they are not the curious or cuddly bunch, but you'll still find yourself following them around hoping that one will love you back! The cats are so adorable and beautiful! The place does not smell and I didn't see cat hair everywhere. They have an air-freshener machine running. Sometimes I'm allergic to cats and will sneeze uncontrollably, but I had no issues here.
