I really enjoyed this store. They were open early, the staff was friendly, and they had a decent selection. My bagel and cheese with all the veggies treated me right and my iced coffee was large, cheap, and tasty. If you're nearby and need some coffee or breakfast this place is the way to go and much better than a Starbucks.

Looove their coffee! I'd try their teas if it wasn't so expensive. It's definitely worth it every once in a while when I'm close to that area. 4 stars because they're always nice and helpful, I'm always happy with what I get, and I like their free drink after certain amounts of purchases. For 5 stars they'd need to take .50¢ off the price, or have better/easier vegan food options. If you aren't worried about spending a little more money (for higher quality of course) or veg options this place is amazing!

Ok. Its a coffee and tea shop...like 100 flavors of coffee and samples. It smells like grandma's kitchen on Christmas morning. But thats not what I'm here to discuss. Its the sandwiches. I have had the chicken salad and the turkey bacon and brie, thats what i want to tell you. It has bacon. Not just bacon, but crispy bacon melting into creamy brie cheese. Over turkey. Did I mention it had bacon? Lile the kind of bacon that makes the sandwich crunch when you bite in. The salty kind that complements the sharp cheese and makes you forget the assulting smell of coffee. Seriously. Good. Sandwich.

I've ordered from them once, a breakfast sandwich, and it was delicious. I liked the atmosphere of the place it came off friendly. Until the other day when I was asked to leave because I hadn't ordered anything. I work at the Jimmy John's across from them, and I always thought it was nice that they let me sit there after getting dropped off for work, as I have no vehicle. I can understand if they were busy and needed the tables, but that wasn't the case. My shift starts at 11. The friend who I'm currently staying with drops me off at work around 8:45, because as a thank you for letting me stay at her home, I try to help get her kids off to school. So I have time to kill in the morning. I don't have any money, I'm saving up to try to get back on my feet. I hopefully will save up enough to get an apartment or room nearby, but the one time I did have enough money to order something, I did. I could have waited in Jimmy John's store for my shift, it wouldn't have been a problem. I just liked the atmosphere better in the Baltimore Coffee and Tea house. I like to draw and listen to music on my phone in the morning to kill the time to wait for my shift. The employees were usually very friendly. And a nice lady came up to my table and told me I had to leave if I was not to order anything. I do carry a bookbag, maybe it looked suspicious? She wasn't rude about it at all, and I understood where she was coming from, but I had been there almost every day for at least 2 weeks. I did leave. But I still wonder why I was asked to leave? I am overweight. I carry a bookbag. I was wearing a flash t-shirt and a Deadpool beanie. Like I said, I would understand if the store was very busy and their has been times I did not go in due to unavailable tables. But that wasn't the case this time. If I had the money I would have ordered.. It was a little embarrassing, but nothing I couldn't have walked off.. I didn't see a sign saying no loitering anywhere. I can only assume that I must have come off as threatening. I do enjoy the place, their breakfast sandwiches are incredible, and the aroma of the coffee is enough to fuel my caffeine fix for the day. I have had co-workers say very good things about their cinnamon roll coffee, as it is to die for. But very friendly atmosphere and staff makes this coffee house give off a friendly vibe. And to the nice lady who asked me politely to leave, thank you for being so polite.

Nice casual atmosphere, amazing selection of coffee, teas and related accoutrements that you may not expect; chicory, filters, coffee pot cleaners, etc. oh and a nice selection of "Good things to eat!"; bagels, salads, paninis and more... I enjoyed a nice pour over of the the barista's favourite. Staff was very helpful and kind despite the busy afternoon... Oh & one more thing, I greatly appreciated that coffee can be purchased by the 1/4 lb. if you like; a great way to sample their various blends!

The people there are very friendly and welcoming. One of the women explained their coffees to us and pointed us to the samples of the coffee sense it was our first time there. They had all different kinds of bagels to have with the breakfast sandwiches and they have different flavored cold brews. Also all there coffee flavors are made with extracts and not from syrups so they are perfect for people doing low carb.

I can't believe people are giving this place 4 stars and saying it sucks at the same time. My wife and I ordered frozen coffees and they gave us a lukewarm thick textured liquid that tasted like dirt. I will pay the extra premium and go to starbucks next time.

Who else hates those days where you sleep a little too late, wake up a little too early, and get a little too tired early in the day? Yeah. That happened today and it sucks. Especially when you have a platter of tasks that you have to muscle down before the end of day. I decide to look up a coffee shop close to the new office and I end up taking the additional 5 minutes to drive to Baltimore Coffee and Tea Company. It was well worth the trip. The atmosphere is great, not crowded at ALL. You can have your personal space and be able to breath while doing your coffee shop thing. The employees were extremely courteous, which is pleasantly surprising when they’ve probably already been through hell and back from the morning/lunch rush. I got the largest Americano to really put this review on the chopping block and it turned out great. Double par on the back to the guy making the coffee. Thanks bro.

Great-tasting coffee with a good atmosphere. You can get a cup of black coffee for a little over $2 with refills. The refills are self-serve, and you can choose between several coffees, including decaf. The staff are friendly, and the place always seems clean. Customers are friendly as well, and we almost always see at least one regular who we recognize when we go. As if that weren't good enough, they have probably at least 100 varieties of whole beans that are on display and available for purchase. Not to mention lots of loose-leaf and bagged tea, other coffee and tea drinks, pastries, and plenty of giftables. It has quickly become our favorite coffee shop. Good prices, great coffee, and the perfect balance between Starbucks and small ma and pa shops.

LOVE this coffee shop! It's so easy to select the exact beans that you want, as they are displayed in burlap bean bags with a clear plate on top. You can scoop out a few to smell it taste, a CD they will even make you a single cup. This is the go- to for gifts for coffee loving friends, add they will wrap your bag complete with colorful tissue a CD a bow. There is a huge selection of teas as well, and a pleasant sitting area both in and outside. The only difficulty is trying to enter the shopping center. Enjoy!

Coffee is bitter tasting to me. I tried it a couple times. Not impressed. I hate to say this but I prefer Starbucks drip coffee over theirs. I'll try a bag of coffee next and see if it taste fresh.

We stopped for coffee and breakfast on our way out of DC and were very pleased. The coffee is excellent (much better than other more recognizable chains), and they had agreat tea selection too. The bagels were good and they make their own flavored cream cheeses. The women behind the counter were some of the most pleasant I have ever encountered. Definitely worth a trip if you want to be reminded that there are still people who take pride in their jobs and bringing a smile to someone's face.

My husband loved the fact that they had organic roasted flavored beans without artificial flavoring. They use essence to flavor the specialty beans. However when ordering iced latte to there are ok only 2 coffee options and the flavorings were artificial and sugarfree...yuck. iced tea was great and I also bought 2 bags of loose leaf tea. Pass on the gluten free bagels,expensive,flat,gross.

A really broad selection of coffee, tea, sandwiches, and pastries. They routinely stock numerous unique whole bean coffees as well as corresponding single serve “k cups.” My wife is always impressed with their selection of teas. They stock loose and bagged teas (and perhaps single serve cups as well). The staff is very knowledgeable about their products and they occasions that I have had any questions they have always been extremely helpful and accurate with their information and recommendations. I have not sampled their sandwiches but they smell delicious. I have had a few of their pastries and am always pleased. They also have several options of pre-packaged gift boxes and accessories such as coffee mugs, tea balls, etc. if you’re a fan of coffee or tea be sure to stop in for a visit.
