Good coffee, good atmosphere, fun location. Closes too early.

Super friendly staff that know their menu well. This South Portland location is a great addition to their cafe family. Bonus: They have really awesome stickers!

Biscuits, eggs, and coffee. What a beautiful start to the morning. I stopped by here with a friend for breakfast and I’m so happy she showed this place to me. I had to order the special biscuit and the eggs, added cheese. It was made perfectly, with the yolk still a bit runny. I also grabbed a local hot sauce that’s fermented and it was a great accompaniment. It’s even inspired me to try making my own fermented sauce. Love the vibes here. You can sit and eat upstairs and I was able to find street parking when I went.

They take their coffee very seriously and it shows. The nibbles are tasty.

John Turnmire

Cute coffee shop in a two story house in a easily to reach location. A selection of coffee beans and serving styles, delicious breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Friendly staff and an abundance of space for telework/studying upstairs. Wide selection of local craft beer! The lobby is a little tight and I wouldn't call the shop ADA accessable. Like most places in Maine there is no A/C so I'd recommend somewhere else if you find yourself looking for a place to work from on a hot day.

Jean Russo

Best egg and cheese sandwich in town! Good pumpkin latte, too. Nice neighborhood setting.

If you need company, bring your apple laptop, set it up and fake work on your novel like the other patrons. If you want to pay for good coffee, go eslewhere

The chai is on the more expensive end, but WORTH IT!! Rich, spicy flavor, creamy texture and just the right amount of sweet. One of the best selections of non-coffee beverages for a coffee shop. Never had anything I didn't like. Cozy, quaint, good for a relaxing break.

Harry Robertson

Very good space, coffee, and treats!

No bagels on a Saturday morning seems absurd for a breakfast spot.

Delicious honey everything!

Chris Slesarchik

Hip coffee shop with delectable breakfast sandwiches and unique pastries. Coffees were excellent and the pop tarts were good, but could have used a little more filling. Hard to notice this place driving by but definitely worth a stop

Lovely coffee and tasty breakfast options but a bit on the expensive side. Service is friendly.

Beautiful sunny sitting upstairs. WIFI, plenty of outlets near seating. Wonderful tea!

Was hope the larger latte could give a good start of my road trip, yet, the latte was terrible. Such a waste of the good coffee machine they have in store. Great atmosphere though.

First time there and we were pleasantly surprised. Coffee was great, breakfast sandwiches were good.

Katie Hatch

Alex Cox

Geoff Pennington

Great coffee and a noteworthy breakfast sandwich.

Rob Sheppard

Meh. Condescending baristas and this is one of those places where you order a cappuccino and they ask you, What size? Ended up with a mediocre latte instead. Was briefly excited to see dill cream cheese on the menu. Then my bagel came: plain cream cheese with dry dill shaken all over it. Nope.

Jenna Malley

Absolutely adore this little coffee shop! The coffees are delicious and the breakfast sandwiches are amazing! The pastry cabinet had me drooling... Plenty of seating upstairs, but they're happy to do takeout for you as well! While you're waiting, definitely explore their little gift shop. Lots of VERY local beers and wines for sale in addition to great gifts and merch.

Michel Ouellette

Breakfast sandos are wicked good, dude.

Tarek Hammour

Just a cozy beautiful place to enjoy a coffee, tea or smoothie.

I'm addicted to Omi's. I'm sad they're no longer in the west end, but the south portland location is absolutely worth the journey. Their creative coffee drinks (I'm a fan of the iced lavender latte, my roommate likes the honeymaker) pair great with a blueberry biscuit with honey and butter, or a homemade poptart, or a bagel with exciting spreads.

G Wood

I was so excited to have them in the neighborhood. Sadly, the staff is less than energetic or friendly- like it's a chore to wait on you. Although certain drinks are very good, the baked goods are common and nothing unique. And if you're going to advertise food, don't close the kitchen before you close. Can't recommend it. Won't recommend it. Sad- it had such potential.

Toben Cooney-Callnan

Nice place.

Moving to SoPo soon but the best in town no matter where.

NicksFort

Had a blueberry biscuit that was great and a pour over coffee. Good spot with a local vibe.

Susan Kaplan

JUST what the West End needed… this is the best little coffee shop with unique and interesting offerings (something for everyone) with personable and fun owners. I am thrilled Omi’s came into my neighborhood! It’s such an inviting space and I am always greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. This little coffee shop is worth going out of your way to visit!

Very quaint with helpful staff. Not a lot of seating but the shop makes up for it with a ton of beverage options. Might very well be my new before work place. Lavender steamer with coconut milk is a must try.

My latte was served in a nice owl mug. The shop is cute and spacious. Plenty of tables upstairs. I loved the mugs and all the cute T-shirts. My husband liked his mocha. They also have food and wine. Everyone was friendly.

The minimalist design and quite upstairs is homey with a productive atmosphere. Recommend for quite nice with a nice jar of water and espresso ☕

Timothy Neil

I still miss the old spot in Portland, but the inside, food options, and of course the coffee make up for the drive. I always enjoy their fall latte.

Michael Haefele

Mmm mmm. Omis is the best. Try the homemade pop tarts.

Melinda Hart

Adorable cozy shop. Played cards while we drank coffee. Little pricey but worth it. Great New England coffee shop. Tip: don't sit by the door!

Probably my favorite coffee shop in the South Portland. Breakfast sandwich’s are amazing and they always have homemade pop tarts!

Deeman

The sandwiches were good but Slow service and high prices, around $8 each! Took 20 minutes for a couple sandwiches. If you’re from out of town, McDonalds is nearby.

Mike

It was just average. Nothing memorable

Heather The Hedge Witch

Love this place but it's a bit overpriced.

Sean Taylor

If you are looking for local and really love eclectic setups you might want to bump this rating up a star. Overall I found the coffee to be on par, certainly better than most chains, but also nothing really mind blowing. The cost was a little high for the drinks we ordered and the place didn't really vibe with our typical atmosphere. We aren't from in town and couldn't stay long, so it's completely possible that a local or couple in less of a hurry may find the location endearing enough to win back another star. The coffee was ok, the service was good but I don't quite feel this place matches up with other coffee places I've reviewed. Note: we only tried two lattes, so you may want to look at other reviews if you plan to order some of the food!

Nicolas Warren

Comfortable staff, great biscuits, good little neighborhood spot.

I tried a lavender latte!! Very cozy, tucked-away location that gives the vibe you've stumbled upon a local secret.

The food and coffee is on the expensive side but most definitely worth it. They always have specials going on for each season, which is just delightful. The atmosphere is great and if you don't want to sit inside you can walk to the park next door and look at the Portland Harbour.

Fabulous coffee and fabulous bagel with salmon special. Do not forget to sample the blueberry biscuits with butter and honey. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. The best breakfast place around.

Makayla McCormick

The matcha latte, coconut cold brew, and egg sandwiches we ordered were really great and came out quick. But pretty pricey. Prices weren't listed for the sandwiches which already made me nervous but we were starving! It was great while we were visiting but if we lived here we definitely couldn't come here too often because of the prices.

Logan Martyn-Fisher

Love their honey sciracha sauce on their avocado bacon egg and cheese. Their store merch is also pretty unique and cool for a coffee shop.

David Duong

The quality of the coffee doesn't really justify the hefty price tag. Not many food options, just basic bagels and biscuits. There are too many good options in Portland to go out of your way for this.

Kim White

Michael Barrett

Very delicious coffee in generous servings. Great homemade pastry options, and super nice people. Fun space.

Jennifer Payea

Great coffee and lunch sandwich choices. Easy parking. Friendly service. Tables available on two floors.

The food and drink here is exceptional! The lavender latte is delicious and the baked goods are superb. This is an interesting set-up for a coffee shop in that it sells beer from a cooler when you walk in. I have never taken advantage of this offering, but I'm sure it is a nice option for people right close by to get craft brews. All of the seating is upstairs and there is ample room to spread out. I have never had an issue finding my own table which is great as I feel too many coffee shops are undersized. Lots of windows afford a high degree of natural lighting which makes for a nice, inviting atmosphere. A nice thing about the seating being removed from the kitchen area is the noise level is acceptable. Most patrons are quiet and it is a good place to go for reading or other activities requiring your focus. The staff is nice and go about their work at a brisk pace. The wait time is a little long, but the food and drink is worth it. The prices are a little, but this is certainly compensated for by the quality of the finished products. Therefore, I think the value is better than other coffee shops. It is my favorite coffee shop and I look forward to every time that I'm able to go!

Excellent coffee, quiche and the building (cute house) reinvented is great. The upstairs seating is quiet and happy colored!

Elizabeth Lowe

I don't mind a higher price for a great drink, but do they really need to pack the cup with so much ice that it's difficult put on a lid or use a straw? Maybe I should stick to hot drinks so I don't feel taken.

Lucky Strano

Great place to meet friends

Great coffee bar and a surprisingly awesome craft beer selection!

My girlfriend and I decided to try this coffee shop out after a recommendation from a coworker. The staff was very kind and willingly answered our questions we had about their menu. We had a Soy Triple Shot Maine Maple Syrup Latte and a Soy Triple Lavender Latter with two fried egg, bacon and avocado spread breakfast sandwiches on their homemade herb and cheese biscuits. It’s a little out of the way but definitely worth the trip if you have the opportunity!

Great coffee, friendly baristas
