The wait was unusually long especially since it wasn't really busy. Once my party was finally seated we again had to wait longer to be served. When the food came out, one order was wrong and a few weren't completely satisfied with the food. The server was nice, when she came around, but the food didn't live up to the expectations I had after the great things I've heard about this place.

I was pleased to have breakfast here once again. This is a cozy cafe with a friendly low key atmosphere. The special of the day was pancakes with cranberries and white chocolate with real maple syrup! It's worth the effort to come by!

Breakfast like you want it. Tasty and cheap with fast service. The line to be seated becomes long on the weekends so plan ahead. Tables turn at a good rate so stick around. Hollandaise is fantastic while the cinnamon buns are HUGE. Menu is small but covers all the basics. Our waitress was wonderful. Recommended.

The Freeport Cafe is our go to cafe. It's reasonably priced, good, cafe style food, and friendly service. It's grown in popularity over the past few years and can be quite busy. Breakfast is served all day which sometimes is just what I want. In addition to the standard cafe fare they have terrific clam chowder and a grilled haddock sandwich that's a nice change from a burger from time to time.

The restaurant was not overly busy, but the hostess was rude when seating us and asking for our drink orders, and failed to offer us menus, a fact that surprised our waitress when she arrived to take our orders ten minutes later. At least having a polite waitress salvaged an otherwise unpleasant breakfast experience.

Found this little gem by our hotel. It's super busy but they do a good job of moving you through. Probably cuz most patrons are polite and don't linger. Our breakfast was tasty. Manager and waitress were pleasant. Coffee not to shabby either.

The food is okay and the prices are pretty good.....just disappointed in the service....she wasn't happy and something was going on in her life, or she had a previous bad experience with another table....but she took it out on our table....we just ate and left....so this being my first time there wasn't great....I just hope her day just went better. Friendly faces ! Great coffee -- refilled while you weren't looking! The muffins were killer! And a wonderful local trivia-newspaper the "coffee news," was fun to flip through! Did you know one third of the earths surface is desert ? Or that in diner lingo , a cowboy with spurs is a western with fries!

I’ve only been here for breakfast. The food is delicious and the service is always great & friendly. The price is reasonable and the location is easy to get to with plenty of free parking! If your coming to Freeport to shop at LL Beans or to the outlets I would highly recommend stopping here for either breakfast or lunch as this is a real Maine experience to eat at this cafe.

Only reason i didn’t give it 5 stars is our waitress wasn’t that friendly and seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but working there while all the other waitresses were full of energy and friendly. Also she sat us right next to the bathrooms (tables should not be that close to the bathrooms)

You may have a bit of a wait coming here but that's for food reason - the food here is fantastic and the service is almost always superb, though given how busy it is, some of the staff can be a bit rushed. I've never stayed for dinner but the breakfast keeps me coming back. Plenty of options ensure everyone in the family will find something they like and the specials are always creative and delicious. My favorite is the corned beef hash Benedict with a roasted blueberry muffin. Best ure to stop in and don't mind the wait - it's well worth it!

Baked haddock was well seasoned and very good overall. Turkey dinner had good conponent parts, but the gravy was this odd translucent yellow jello. This was not bad per se, but it definitely wasn't what I expect in my gravy. Their buckeye pie was a solid peanut butter/chocolate cheesecake. Overall service was fast. Granted, I was not there at peak hours.

A mainstay in the Yarmouth\Freeport area. Good food, good food portions and a very good staff. When I'm in town I'm usually there for breakfast or lunch.

This is a nice little place to stop and just get breakfast. It's never very busy the wait is usually not that long. I've been there at least a dozen times and I've never had a complaint. The breakfast sandwich made on an English muffin with two eggs and your choice of meat with cheese is definitely the way to go. This is a perfect stop on your way to L.L.Bean.

I had a long wait for initial contact, beverage I'd requested, and my ticket. She never asked how my food was and didn't say goodbye. As a former server trainer that all should have been done. BTW the place was not busy. The kitchen staff got my food out in minutes so that was not the issue. I had breakfast here.

Best SOS I've ever had, thick creamy sauce on a home made biscuit. How ever I thought it to be a little pricey at $10 but it did come with 2eggs and homefries. If your a fan of SOS this is a good stop.

Great lunch here recently with family. Server was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable, I think it was Luke. Our group ordered crab cakes, lobster roll, hand made chips, giant cinnamon roll, and all were delicious. I asked for lobster Caesar wrap and it was prepared for me even though it wasn't a menu choice. Blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream topped us off, fab! We will be back!

Nothing special. My eggs were cooked correctly (medium) however they were cooked at too high of a heat or something because they had a tough 'skin' covering the eggs. I wasn't a fan of the home fries either, not much flavor in the seasoning. It wasn't that busy but it was only time here so I'll have to give it another go to be fair.

A great hometown feel for a yummy Sunday brunch. Eggs Benedict are a special treat prepared with the eggs poached to order. Coffee was very good, although refills were hard to come by. Tried to order a giant cinnamon roll as an appetizer, but it came at the same time as our meal.
