Best roast beef sandwich I have ever had. Super tender with just the right balance of fixings. Also got the chai latte and blueberry cheesecake bar. The chai latte was just right, not too much clove and the cheesecake bar was yummy and creamy.

This is an incredible place. My first time, it's already my new favorite! From the decadent pastries and baked goods, flavorful soups, fresh ingredients, you can tell that everything on the menu was made with love and care. The prices are unbelievable for the quality and flavor. Vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, outdoor seating, and everything in clean display cases make for comfy and welcoming atmosphere. The amazing organic juice and beverage selection and the bulk candies in the back solidified it for me. This place is perfect.

I have been a patron of Clayton’s for at least 15 years, first when they were still on Main Street (where “Gathers” is now). I go at least once a week for soups, sandwiches, and an occasional treat. The sandwiches are terrific! My favorites are the Curried Chicken and the Greek, although I have tried them all and have never had one I wouldn’t order again! Soups are outstanding, and the bakery treats are sinfully good! I almost always order lunch ahead of time, but if it’s a last-minute thing I can chat with their always-pleasant and efficient staff. Go!

Stopped by on our way though for lunch, after looking places up on Google maps. It was excellent. The eating space was pretty full when we came in, but the turnover is high and we were able to find a table by the time our food came. I had a chicken salad sandwich, and it was excellent. Really fresh bread, good size, good price. I will definitely be stopping again next time I come through.

How CUTE is this place? Yarmouth has a little gem in this cafe. Exceptional service, deli items were great, a star away only because falafel is not their strongest wrap and definitely not a specialty. Will absolutely come back and try the variety of other sandwiches and soups they have to offer. Happy I found them.

Extremely SLOW for the amount of employees wandering around and I DO mean wandering around aimlessly, trying to look busy doing zippo. 21 minutes for a sandwich to go...NOPE WONT BE BACK. The sandwich was good, the Cookies Better. But not worth the wait. The place is also very weird. A strange coffee counter but its the payment checkout register area, not a sit at coffee bar....I guess those cashiers get your coffee?? Out back is kinda, but not quite a candy shop that people can eat their sandwich in and the center is the order counter and the front has tables ..but they sell casserole things to take home, none for eat in. Just VERY STRANGE ... Like someone was VERY confused at what they wanted..hmmm a deli? a take out coffee place...maybe a xandy shop? How about take home casseroles? Wine anyone? very weird.

I'm in town for work. I went in for a crabcake sandwich, the woman at the counter was quick, efficient and friendly. The place clean and open with a friendly atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious, their homemade ice tea hit the stop! I will definitely return before my assignment is over!

One of my favorite places to meet a friend for coffee or lunch. The offerings are numerous, including muffins, scones, breakfast sandwiches, soups, salads, a large variety of sandwiches, as well as heat and eat to go dishes for grabbing dinner on the way home. They also have art work by local artists on a monthly rotation. Don't forget to visit the candy corner with apothecary jars filled with all your favorite candies by the pound. To avoid a long wait to order and eat at lunchtime, I recommend calling your order in ahead. Grab a menu on your way out to keep in the glovebox.

This place is really great, and was an awesome little respite on our 8hr drive. They have a huge selection of sandwiches, including their signature chicken salad. Claytons is a great place to grab a bite while passing through Yarmouth and a great place to eat if you live in Yarmouth. It offers a great selection of amazing sandwiches, delicious home-made soups, and many other dishes great for lunch. It also has a nice selection of old time candies, a whole area of chocolate sweets and a great selections of drinks. I would highly recommend this place for lunch as you will be very satisfied after your meal here.

Clayton's Cobb wrap with the bacon on the side... that's my jam. My hubbie goes for the famous chicken salad. Pick up a little something sweet to share from the dessert counter and it's an amazing homemade lunch with fresh ingredients for 2 for under $20. Can't beat it!

Came he with my 2 teenage sons for lunch. Hadn't been here for quite a spell and glad we came by this afternoon. They are right off route 1 in Yarmouth with plenty of free parking. It is spacious and plenty of seating both in the back and front rooms. They offer a variety of saneuches and everything is made from scratch. Great food and great friendly service makes for an awesome combination!

So sorry to have gone so far out of my way today to pick up a pint of Clayton's delicious balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing as I have done on numerous occasions in the past, only to be told "we don't do that." If there is one thing I am sure of with my precious time and busy schedule it is the fact that I did not wake up this morning, decide to drive all the way to Yarmouth, to pretend at Clayton's that I had purchased their dressing in this manner, many times in the past. Ho hum no fun being sent home empty handed AND being called a liar. Thanks Clayton's.

Before reading my review, please, please do not take the 3 Star rating literally. Clayton's Cafe is nothing superb, but surely will not disappoint. Pretty superb food, had a large cookie from a small but grand little bakery section of the cafe and was yummy. Have a vast array of bakery items and a little area for the candy sweet tooth. Employees attitudes were very nice. And they also have a pretty sizable patio outback to eat outside, which my family and I did, and was very nice with the weather and sun. +

I have always loved the food here. In fact I have been a weekly customer for years. Disappointed at the new prices. Its not about money it's about value. My favorite breakfast sandwich increased by over a dollar (with taxes) and then when I got to work to eat it the bread was burnt and the eggs were over cooked. Won't be a weekly customer anymore.

My sister is a regular and suggested it for our lunch date when I visited from out of town yesterday. She suggested we order ahead as they are usually have lines out the door. There was a misunderstanding about the name we ordered under which led to some frustrations, but the staff were very pleasant and provided excellent customer service! We had her recommended BLT and pulled pork sandwiches which were fabulous! They packed them full of ingredients too. They use bread made locally and fresh ingredients. They have fresh baked goods and deli items available in their display cases. The building is small and crowded with little seating inside but offer picnic tables outside. It is very clean though and nicely decorated.

A visit to Clayton's Cafe is a good idea. You might be wondering if maybe you should go somewhere else. Listen to me when I say that not going to Clayton's would be the biggest mistake of your life. The breakfast sandwiches at Clayton's are the best I've ever had. I want to stop eating them, I really do, but I just can't stop going there. I imagine this is what addicts go through day in and day out. The wraps and lunch sandwiches are always delicious, and the soups are insanely good. I never buy soup, ever, but I'll buy theirs. Give them all your money in exchange for the food that they make. Chase the breakfast sandwich dragon. You won't regret it.

I only have good things to say about this place. I've never even once had a negative experience, and I can't even count how many times I've been to Clayton's because it certainly exceeds the number of fingers I have. Order the curried chicken sandwich (accompanied by a hearty pickle spear), pair it with Deep River Sweet Maui Onion chips and your beverage of choice, and be not just happy as a clam but HAPPIER THAN a f***in clam, which is telling.
