What an awesome find ever so slightly off the beaten path! We had a super friendly wait staff, great beer selection, and amazing small plates to round out a really cool location. Highly recommended!

David Beck

Fantastic breakfast with friendly servers

Samantha Shen

Do NOT come here for dinner. The menu is very limited and the entree section has a bimbimba dish and a tikka Marsala dish. The spring chicken is terrible with no flavor. Just grilled with bbq sauce on top. We came here years ago for breakfast and it was great.

James Hahn

Don’t know how the food is they wouldn’t seat us on the patio so we just left. That is simply the staff being lazy and not wanting to run that extra section.

Andrew Morris

Friendly, quick wait staff. I only wish they had a separate toaster for toasting gluten free bread! A wonderfully quaint library surrounds you as you enjoy your meal. Outdoor seating available as well!

Martin Flansbury

Fantastic eclectic menu. Small bites / tapas are a great option. Our waiter, Tony, was first rate.

Alyssa Juilfs

This is a cute cafe. I liked how there were books and art everywhere. Plus, our food and service was great!

James Shields

VERY GOOD OPTION FOR BREAKFAST OR DINNER IN BAR HARBOR. CREATIVE FOOD, WELL PREPARED, AND UPBEAT, PROFESSIONAL STAFF. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Tristan Harward

Seated us on the patio with our dog even at 5 minutes to closing! Super nice folks and delicious breakfast, the potatoes were amazing and eggs perfectly cooked. Great coffee too, strong and dark.

Michael Hendricks

The food and service were incredible. We stumbled into this place after quick trip to Acadia park, but were completely bowled over. Breakfast was off the chain! The coffee was excellent, and Im hard to please.

Kayla Yoder

Delish. Lobster Benedict

Diana C. MiLLer

They probably don’t even need my review. Holy hell. Get the carafe of mimosas and sit on the deck with doggos in the sun and slam a Benedict. Local climbing guide recommended this place and oh how right he was. Terrific food and service and fast as hell even tho busy!

Heather Chapman

Right next to our hotel, so we walked over for breakfast. Long line for a table so we opted to sit at the bar. Ryan was our server and he was so friendly. Our breakfast was amazing! We got the country breakfast with eggs bacon and pancakes. Amazing! Such a pleasant experience.

Tiffany Franke

Fantastic breakfast spot! We ate at a table on the porch in front of flower boxes bursting with summer color. Trout Benedict and fruit cup made for a great combo. Very friendly staff. It’s a busy spot but the wait at 10:00 on a Saturday morning was only a couple minutes

William LaMorie

Great ambiance, great help, menu with wide range of choices for any diet.

Brian Doss

Great blueberry pancakes.

Aavery Mundt

The food was good and service was prompt and friendly. I don't think it lived up to the expectations of people who recommended it to us. If you are in town it is one of the better breakfast lunch spots you can find.

Robert Annand

Great food, nice decor, friendly staff.

Brandon Wichman

Best breakfast on the island! Must have - blueberry pancakes!!!

Polar Bear

Kind and friendly wait staff , just follow the footsteps from Mt Desert st we had a great breakfast

Ted Grzesik

Elevated breakfast but home fries are meh

David Grant

I have breakfast here most Sunday's and enjoy it immensely. The host, Tony, is one of those people who meet who you know take pride in their job.

Krista Hanson

I loves their salty butter, grilled blueberry muffins, and omelets. The service is great and waiting outside is worth it.

Eric G

It was... fine, I guess. The food was decent, but fairly uninspired (the salmon benedict was some smoked salmon on an English muffin that was a bit rubbery, with nary a caper or any other flavor in sight). The service was reluctant. I had to beg for more coffee, after which I was granted a half cup. Of several breakfasts in Bar Harbor, this was the least impressive.

Alicia Cercone

My husband and I were in Bar Harbor last week for a hiking trip. Both mornings we went to Cafe this Way after the gym- before our hikes- breakfast. This place was HIGHLY recommended by all the locals we had talked to. Both mornings we were extremely satisfied with everything...hence why we went back for a second time. PSA- try to get there by 8:30, the blueberry pancakes are delicious (way better than the plain), egg burrito is delicious, and everything is so fresh!!! Definitely go there!!

Fabio Ribeiro

The best pancake I ever had. Very friendly staff. Espresso is just ok. With a good coffee it would be 5 star

Sarah Gilmore

Tasty food, very friendly staff, and a wonderful atmosphere! The barista was so polite and always happy to start a conversation.

Jessica Sobotka

Best. Cafe. Ever. So cute! Great food! Fast service! Helpful employees! Loved, loved, loved there! Cant wait to go back

Katie Sylvia

Unbelievable blueberry pancakes. Highly, highly recommend! Free off-street parking is a pretty nice perk as well.

Scott Dimmick

Get the pancakes. Enough said. They are thin like a crepe with a crisp edge. Smoke salmon Benedict is very good. Monte Cristo is also good. Coffee is the best on the island.

john shults

Our group of ten ate here for a special occasion and were pleased with everything. Service was attentive and quick, and food was good.

Scott Ream

Best pancakes in Bar Harbor. Great service, great food.

Rachel Depasquale

This place is amazing. So friendly, so delicious. I went 3 mornings in a row. I tried the pancakes, the bagel plate, and the Ann omelet which was all delicious. The coffee was on point and I greatly appreciated that. Go here now!

Mackenzie Lynne

Came here for breakfast before exploring the park one morning and it was such a great choice we came back the next day as well. Loved the atmosphere inside, very clean and cozy and inviting. Got the country breakfast with the blueberry pancake upgrade both days plus the breakfast sandwich on the second day. The food was cooked perfectly, exactly as ordered and seasoned well. I would highly recommend this spot for breakfast, has something on the menu for everyone.

Melanie DeWispelaere

Tony the host is the absolute best!! He makes the entrance a welcoming homecoming!!! All restaurants need Tony. We went back several time because they Tony greeted and seated us. Kiddos to Tony!

Morris Yen

Tasty omelette, friendly service, clean bathroom

Darrell Bowles

Enjoyed the Lobster Benedict and fried potatoes that accompanied it. Corned beef hash was greasy. Omelette wife ordered, with cheese, smoked trout and other ingredients would have been the best item we ordered, except that like so many other restaurants, the outside of the egg was dry, brown and overcooked. Good omelettes are cooked evenly inside and out, fluffy and moist, but not runny.

Brenda Bigelow

Locals favorite...good food and great service!

Kelly VanKirk

Awesome food, attentive staff. Pricey but the food quality was superb!

Craig Plazure

Wow! Fantastic breakfast - so good, we went twice in two days and had the same thing each time. Delicious and plentiful corned beef hash, a huge breakfast sandwich, and perfectly plate-sized, crispy on the edges and gooey in the middle blueberry pancakes. Great, strong but not bitter, locally roasted coffee with quick refills. Very attentive and friendly service and the food comes out in minutes. Terrific stop to fuel up before or after hiking.

Durand Smith

I am vegetarian and I like the "Vegan." The only complaint I have is that the potatoes are not completely cooked. I am sure the regular hash browns start out the same way and they are fine. I am guessing that they are cooked on a grill with eggs and meats. There is usually something for everyone. The blueberry pancakes are my wife's favorite.

Sienna

Food was very good and unique. Definitely a place that's worth going to. I got the goat cheese and spinach omlette and my friend got a breakfast Kit's burrito. However, I felt like I had a very hard time trying to get my server to give me the time of day. Since we were waiting to be seated, we already knew what we wanted by the time we sat. But he would keep running off every time I tried getting his attention, so we didn't order for another 20 minutes after our 15-20 minute wait.

Amy Gill

The blueberry pancakes were to die for. I dream about the crunchy edges and thin, chewy texture. The decor is stylish too, a color-coordinated literary theme that makes for a cozy environment. You can also stop in and buy coffee to go for $1.50 from the front.

H R

Quaint establishment in the area, full of character! It seems they draw a bigger crowd for breakfast, though the dinner we had was fantastic! The service was exceptional and the food was simply delicious. We enjoyed the shrimp with dipping sauces, beet salad, Cesar salad, summer spritzer, fish cakes and fried Brussels sprouts. The atmosphere was relaxing and the mood was great!

Shreyas Dube

Disappointing tofu scramble. Tofu tasted raw and veggies were uncooked. Poor service as well.

Belle Raab

Delicious, healthy food options for dinner. Reasonable (as in small and healthy) portion sizes and friendly staff. Fun/funky ambiance!

Alexandria Brown

Came here for dinner while visiting Acadia. The beer was good and the space is cute. I ordered a lobster roll, which was delicious but small. The fries were soggy, flavorless, and flaccid. I tried to eat them but I just couldn't. There were some green beans on my plate that were cooked nicely but the oil they were cooked in was so rancid I couldn't eat them. The waiter was nice enough but came to ask about the food after only about 2 bites of my roll, before I discovered the unacceptable fries and green beans and there was no second opportunity for feedback.

Mary Tuff

Great service and delicious meal Perfect breakfast nook in down town Center. Must try. Beautiful oil paintings on display for sell along with quaint old books contribute to a wonderful experience. Don't leave without trying the blueberry pancakes and bacon.

Cheryl Lesser

Grilled Halloumi and watermelon was sooo tasty, as were the brussel sprouts, lobster bisque, and shrimp & grits. Outstanding flavors. Great service and ambience.

Kevin Van Leer

Had breakfast there. Wait staff was really friendly.

Mak Bailey

Cute place kind of tucked away but considering they are one of few who cater to vegans in Bar Harbor it wasn't too hard to find. Definitely recommend even if you aren't vegan, go get some breakfast!

Yossi Negrin

A great place to eat in Bar-Harbor. It has a very unique menu (not common) and the food and the service are excellent. I also liked the way the place is organized. Will definitely recommend to visit there if you are staying in Bar-Harbor.

Michelangelo Mortellaro

Excellent choice for breakfast. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. You gotta try the blueberry pancakes!

Edouard Sunshine

Fantastic breakfast. Large portions and tasty. Service is a bit slow and the place is packed most of the time.

David Yost

Had a late breakfast. Prompt, friendly service and reasonable price. Just what I wanted.

Kenneth Fure

It was crowded, good places usually are. The host offered us coffee and muffins to make our wait pleasant. We had breakfast, omelet and bagel plate. Excellent as was the service. I recommend this highly.

Mark Rowe

Good service, tasty, nice atmosphere - best breakfast place we went to whilst in Bar Harbor. We had the corned beef hash and smoked trout benedict - both were great and quite large portions with home fries. Nice big airy place that was bright and open - really liked it and would definitely recommend

Urvashi Biswal

Everything we ordered was delicious. Our server was nice too. We did a walk in on a Saturday during the July 4th weekend around 7 pm, it was packed but they still got us a table in 10 mins which was great.

Zachary Young

Cute place with diner style food and nice staff. Nothing had a 'wow' factor, but overall a good breakfast.

Michael

Loved the cold brew and friendly service.

Sheri Chambers

Good coffee. Great atmosphere. Attentive staff.

Geoff Pennington

Always a spectacular breakfast.

Anurag Phadke

Awesome bloody mary's for breakfast

Anil Kumar

Food is awesome. We ordered country breakfast. I would come here again if I come to Acadia.

Hedy Linderoth

Dinner at Cafe This Way serves unique and tasty flavors in a stylish and comfortable space. You can’t get a bad seat in the restaurant nor a bad dish. The portions for appetizers are very shareable and entrees are perfectly filling if not more than enough. I ordered a Tikka Masala with Lobster and my husband enjoyed the Jerk Salmon. As expected, the Tikka Masala was buttery and fragrant. Surprisingly, the Jerk Salmon was mild in spice, sweet, earthy, and fresh. Both great dishes for different cravings. We will be returning, possibly for breakfast!

Londyn Korol

Cute local diner! We sat next to a wall if bookshelves and spent 70% breakfast discussing the random titles, which was a lot of fun. And the food was basically diner breakfast but slightly better somehow. Definitely recommend. Just know that if you go in summer, there's no a/c.

Chelsea Hall

Had breakfast here and everything was fantastic. Great flavor and fresh. They were quick and attentive and the prices were fair for the quality of food. I’ll definitely be back next visit.

Matt Miles

Best pancakes I've ever had.

Ben Greenplate

Great cool place to grab breakfast. Priced right and the food was amazing

Paul McDonald

Neat off the beaten path spot with super friendly staff and amazing food

Tatiana Porras

The prices are very reasonable and the portions are big. The wait time was minimal. The service was very good.

Bryant Kelley

Walk in a minute or two after the 1130 Mark and they wont serve? Not like the place is even busy. Won't bother trying another day. ✌

Mark Howard

The food was very good and the service was attentive without being overbearing. I especially liked the lamb kofta.

Lisa

A bit disappointed with my entree. The beet salad and Brussels sprouts were delicious. The fish cakes were cool, tasteless, sauce was too spicy and the potatoes were overcooked.

Samson gaming

Best pankakes ever!

Ruth Clarke

Great food. Friendly staff. Ordering food to table time very quick. Very nice place. We ate there twice and loved it.

Nate S

Great place for breakfast. Great coffee and breakfast. Unique eats. Great service. Definitely recommend.

Kimberly M

Local art hung around their packed bookshelves with each table uniquely decorated made this a fun and quirky place to stop for breakfast. The food is simple but really delicious and fairly priced. Real maple syrup with their blueberry pancakes was well worth the visit!

Kate Harris

Being local, we are pretty picky about where we eat. Cafe This Way has been a solid choice for years. When we go out it’s usually as a big group with family visiting and there are a bunch of us with dietary restrictions. Doesn’t phase them, and they are super knowledgeable and accommodating. It’s one of the few places in town with a parking lot so that’s a huge bonus. Plus taking reservations and being off the street are so nice. The food is extremely fresh with great attention to detail. This is a place we go to for celebrations. Vegan, gluten free and a garlic allergy hasn’t scared them into banning us from going! Definitely recommend the cauliflower hummus.

Kasey Senatore

Come here every year and I'm always happy with the service. They have delicious food, great and friendly service, a wonderful atmosphere, and a wealth of vegan options for those that need it. I very much recommend their breakfast/brunch fare, although I can't say anything for their dinner fare as I've never tried it.

Stevie Brown

Very happy little place with indoor and outdoor seating. Food choices where plenty, service on point, several tea options. Really enjoyed our breakfast & would go back.

Tobey Crawford

Cafe This Way is a solid tradition. The care and quality of the local ingredients is consistently top notch, year after year. My husband worked in the kitchen several years ago, and knows firsthand that the best of the best food is made here. A must for breakfast. So much flavor! And wonderfully priced. Fiddlehead Spring Scramble is exquisite right now. They never skimp on any of the good stuff.

Manish Thakran

Surprisingly quick service. Good food.

Yury Kastelyanets

Good. Could use an AC was very hot.

Zachary Elias

Not much too say besides the best blueberry pancakes I’ve ever had. Good service not the greatest but the food is excellent.

Nicole La Mattina

Hidden gem! Off the beaten path but right in the down town area. Excellent fish special!!

Minh-Hien Nguyen

We had been wanting to try new places in Maine and were happy to have finally made our way here. The decor was pleasant and the food quite good. It had an Asian flare. I ate the shredded duck banh mi and some fried seafood rolls.

Danny LaPier

Great atmosphere good coffee and food

Kate Braley

Great atmosphere, great food, great service. They have vegan options and mimosas.

Dick Porter

Outstanding service - friendly plus. Very nice breakfast.

Allan Chambers

Amazing food.. Great staff.. Its always crazy busy.. For good reason

VARSHA RACHA

Amazing breakfast.. just what I need before a long day. Will visit this place again

Lucas Marselle

Best breakfast spot in the Village Green.

Bill Lakenan

While on vacation in Bar Harbor my family ate nearly every meal at a local restaurant and this was easily my favorite. The decor is eclectic and artsy. The service was attentive but not stuffy. The food was very creative and very well prepared. Mostly small-ish plates with a variety of styles. Lots of options for vegetarian/vegan and meat eaters alike. If you are NOT looking for burgers and chicken fingers, this is your place.

Gabe Asman

Great breakfasts and super friendly staff. They have a pretty big outdoor patio which is lovely if the weather is right.

Alexander Johs

Best breakfast in town. The scramble with homefries was phenomenal. Build your own scramble by picking your favorite ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and delicous! Great coffee too!

Savoeun Loeung

The food was great and I am not much of a breakfast person. I had the breakfast special omelet and an Irish coffee. Staff was super cool and attentive. The building is located at the end of a dress end street.

Andrea Gomez

Amazing food!! I'm so glad we came across this restaurant. Highly recommended. Our server was wonderful too. Overall, it was truly a 5 star experience.

Rami U

Excellent service, atmosphere and food

Joshua Olney Zide

Great food and service, yet again!

Paula Lefebvre

My favorite breakfast place in Bar Harbor! GREAT food, generous portions, reasonable prices .. and wonderful wait staff! What more can you ask for?

Debbie Miller

An amazing breakfast!

David Scioscio

Food was good! Service was okay. Fast seating and everyone was polite and nice. Just a little slow

Matthew Merranko

Great breakfast (and prices), with unique choices and great wait staff. Environment was welcoming and friendly.

Bryan Niedermayer

Best pancakes I have ever eaten! Probably going back tomorrow for more or to try their corned beef hash. Service is amazing. Definitely check this place out!

Gal Ben-Shlomo

Great atmosphere, service and food! Prices are not too expansive and absolutely worth it for the whole experience :)

Prithivi Raj

Must try restaurant in Bar Harbor. Food is very fresh and good. The best breakfast restaurant near Acadia national park. Best pancake in USA. Coffee is great. Fried egg, turkey, veggie sausage are the best. Very busy restaurant so ready to wait for 15 to 20 mins. They have parking on site. Excellent service

Amber Brides

Three service was great, but sadly the food was not. After a recommendation and good reviews, breakfast was disappointing. It was overall below subpar. The coffee had such a strange taste that i couldn't finish it, the bacon had absolutely zero moisture in it (how do you even do that?), French toast was below average as was the corned beef hash. It was bland. The only thing that was nice was the staff and the speed at which we were in and out. We won't be back.

Jesse Lirtzman

The Mandala was delicious!

Nancy Elliott

Their breakfast meals are consistently awesome. Popular with locals and tourists alike!

Warren Hill

Great atmosphere, good food, friendly efficient staff

Becky Ayling

Great breakfast. They offer limited gluten free options but make no effort to avoid cross contamination. Fast, friendly service

Stephen LaRonde

Quality food..unique menu. Lots of different things to try. Kids meals are huge and legit tasty. Might return before I leave this place. Opposite of a tourist trap

Robert Farnsworth

Excellent, great staff great food

Kim & Michael Tasker

4.8. Yummy dinner. My husband had the lobster dinner, good price and he loved it. I had a steak dinner, meat was prepared as requested. Nice service; and atmosphere was casual and open. We would definitely return.

Alandra Mosier

Great breakfast! Fairly low prices ($8-$14 generally) for GOOD food. The Corned beef hash was really good, and my husband nearly died with the Monte Cristo sandwich. Enjoy!

Daniel Ramirez

No frills cafe offering up good breakfast meals. Seems like a staple of Bar Harbor. Between pancakes, toast, eggs, oatmeal, coffee and juices, it's safe to say we had a good sampling size. Nothing was out of the ordinary, everything was good. Service was friendly and especially fast. It felt like we had just ordered when our food was being served. Definitely a must visit if in town and they have a small parking lot as you approach the entrance.

Dan Grabowski

I usually judge a breakfast place entirely on the home fries. The home fries here were well cooked but under seasoned. Just potatoes. How ever I got the A and A omelette which had Canadian bacon, mushrooms and parmesan cheese. It was exceptional and why I am rating it 4 stars.

Tim South

Location off the beaten path, and the menu follows suit. Great service, eclectic and varied dinner choices. Limited dinner entree offerings.

Edward Jacquemin

Great food, worth the wait when busy. My wife and I constantly search for restaurants that serve really good home fries. This is one of the winners, hands down. Oh, and their pancakes are yummy too. They're thin, slightly crispy, and with blueberries, awesome!

Dennis Kuit

Good lunch. Very well prepared meals.

Pam Ruckriegel

Despite being very busy, the service was awesome and super fast delivery of our food after ordering.

Dominick Raimato

A lucky find after watching the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain. Great breakfast and delicious coffee. Wish we had time to try a other meal there, but we couldn't make it back. Fun and relaxed atmosphere. A must stop when in town.

Everett Kornatowski

Fast, and the nicest servers I've ever experienced.

rishi bnsl

Nice breakfast place. Loved the corn beef hash, family loved the kids burrito, the blueberry pancake and the “patty” omelette. The place is located in the main part of Bar Harbor off mount desert street. The espresso was ok, not great, but still 5 stars overall. The rest of the food and service deserve the 5 stars.

Joshua Jacks

Everything is perfect. Food, service, decor, ambiance. I am not a big reviewer, but this place is amazing.

Jeremy Kinch

Had a dandy breakfast here, Food was excellent and the staff was great. Would definitely recommend.

Sophie Shapiro

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE CELIAC. Menu lists “gluten free” options that are at high risk for cross contamination, even going as far as being fried in the same oil as gluten containing items. “Gluten free” is clearly a term that is used lightly around here and could pose serious health risks to someone who is gluten free as of an autoimmune disease rather than a lifestyle choice. Will not be coming back.

Deb Raber

Had breakfast here twice while on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. Quick service, great outdoor seating and delicious food.

Blake Dubin

Best breakfast in Bar Harbor and awesome dinners. Family friendly, great staff and quiet location. Favorite place to go during our yearly visit.

Zachary Storch

Tucked back in an alley, you wouldn't even know it was there if it wasn't for the big arrow sign that says "Cafe This Way" :-) Fantastic service despite how busy it was, and the decor is very homey, but very trendy. And the menu has nothing but hits, all of our dishes at the table were outstanding. My dad said his omelette was the best hes ever had! Great coffee, food, atmosphere, and service! Do yourself a favor and stop by :-)

Jared Fiacco

Nice spot to grab breakfast. There was a wait, so you know it's good. They gave us coffee and tea while we waited, and there was outdoor seating available while waiting. We ordered food and 5 minutes later it was there. Service was awesome, and they gave us free/real Maple syrup. Great taste, great service, friendly staff and great value! Would definitely go there again next time I'm in the area. Thanks!

David Skoda

Got to say the food was quite underwhelming. This would be two stars if not for the exceptional service. Don’t really know what the buzz is about since there are much better food options around town.

Jenil Gogari

Great place to grab breakfast or brunch after a hike. Very friendly staff!

Marika Astrid

Went here for breakfast, was pretty busy! Food was good, I had the oatmeal and my partner had the usual. Perfect serving sizes, not too much but not too little. Recommend before a long day of hiking !

Sam Covert

Simple, but very well done breakfast. Food is really good. Coffee also good. Be mindful of when you go. There is a line outside before opening, so around the turnover for the first round of service the food will take awhile to arrive. Staff is good. Only complaint is how long it takes to get more coffee, but considering volume, totally understandable.

Tamara

The coffee was good but the pancakes were not to my taste. Please keep in mind that their pancakes are Extremely buttery (fried in a LOT of butter/oil). If you are like me who likes a more standard pancake where you add butter to taste then this is not a place to try the famous Maine wild blueberry pancakes. I was a bit disappointed but to each their own taste!

Steven Erat

LOVE THIS PLACE! Spectacular food. Lots of choices. Cool staff. Fun place. They even have shelves of toys to keep kids happy.

Matt Justaddwata

Truly a gem in Bar Harbor. I think this restaurant Is the reason we visit this town (certainly one of the factors). Food here is brilliant. Service is fast and fantastic. The 15 minute wait was only 5 minutes. The food was on the table literally 5 minutes after ordering. Prices are reasonable. Never a disappointment here!

Kristeen Smith

Great breakfast options that are a little different than most breakfast restaurants. So good we visited twice while vacationing in Bar Harbor.

Monica Buckwalter

Finally a restaurant in Bar Harbor worth the price - with an interesting, eclectic menu, great cocktail, service and a pleasant surprise: parking! I think we've found our new go-to spot.

Jacqueline Rogers Hammond

Very good food and service.

Ranger Ben

Great food friendly staff

Pat Spear

Great service.

K Descoteaux

Great breakfast, coffee while you wait

Sri M

Tasty vegan and vegetarian options

Ann Chang

Fresh delicious food, friendly staff, dog friendly environment. Indoor and outdoor seating

Ryan Goldberg

I have to express my negativity towards this place simply for the lack of professionalism showed by the staff. I’m not sure where the manager or owner is but apparently the computer system went down and no one knows how to use paper... it is the busy season and I’m sure every dollar counts.... huge waits and frustrated people all over. All the workers seemed stressed and aggravated and lost. I run a business that has a system that goes down and we have paper redundancy and staff is prepared. I am extremely disappointed in the way this business is run. I wasted a lot of my valuable vacation time going and waiting here. To the owner and staff: FOLKS ITS HIGH SEASON - FIGURE IT OUT... YOU ARE IN THE SERVICE BUSINESS... JEEZ

Tim Dexter

My go to place for breakfast. Great staff.Best blueberry pancakes.

Logan Michaels

We had a great experience here on our last day in town. The atmosphere is unique and refreshing, our server was great, and the food was excellent. The prices were also fair, so an all around great choice for breakfast in town.

MARK MULLICAN

Great place for brunch/lunch. Awesome outdoor area!!!

Andrew Kerley

Dinner here is way overpriced. The online menu is incredibly misleading. Online, all of the plates are mixed in together, which leads you to think that all the plates are normal sized. Go into the restaurant and you learn they are divided up into $9-15 appetizers and $22-27 normal sized plates. All the normal entrees sound uninteresting, while the appetizers seemed to be the real stars. My wife and I spent $50 here and had to go to the grocery store after because we were still hungry. Now this would not be a problem if we had gone in expecting to drop $100 on dinner for a fancy place, but Cafe This Way is a cafe! We felt judged by the waitstaff for not ordering an entree. For an establishment that preaches inclusion, that only applies if you can foot the large bill.

Anh Dinh

Great spot for lunch and brunch in Bar Harbor!

Jodi Campbell

We love this place and try to stop by every trip to Bar Harbor. If you are planning on eating breakfast on the weekend in peak season, call ahead and try to make reservations, because the wait gets long.

Bill Bilske

Great menu.

pqw

The english muffin was a bomb. Also ordered pancake. Amazingly fluffy!

Jewel Tomasula

Blueberry pancake is truly exceptional! After a week of dining out in Bar Harbor, this was my absolute favorite meal. I also had the bagel platter with smoked trout, which was delicious. But I'll be going back someday for a full order of blueberry pancakes.
