Server was good. We each really enjoyed our meal and the prices were reasonable plus the food was served relatively quickly. I had the burger with pepper jack cheese, fried avocado, arugula and pepper cracked bacon with chipotle mayo. It was to die for. And the deviled eggs potato salad was also delicious.

We visited Alisson's for the first time and it was a solid 5-star experience. Because we had eaten seafood elsewhere for lunch, we ordered a couple of sandwiches for our dinner here. A reuben for my wife and a mushroom burger for me. Both were outstanding. The sides were great also--coleslaw and really good potato salad. They saved the best for last--blueberry pie. Because the portions were so large we actually split the pie. Mouth watering and spilling over with LOTS of sweet blueberries. The only disappointment, and we have decided it is a "Maine thing," was the iced tea. Certainly nothing like we are used to drinking in the South. We were seated immediately and were served by a delightful young lady named Bridgette. Sandwiches were in the $10-12 range and a slice of the best blueberry pie on the planet with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was $6.95.

Absolute Entertainment

After 7 at night in the offseason when they roll up the streets in Kennebunkport Allison's is the only thing open. That gives it one star. Parking is easy as we're practically the only people in town that gives it a second star. It has food that is warm and the service is friendly and that gives it a third star.

This restaurant really delivers on the food! The seafood risotto was so very good, as was the clam chowder. Service was excellent as well. We were so glad that Alisson's was one of the all year round restaurants open in Kennebunkport, as many are not. Very good food, great menu, and great service in a casual but comfortable place.

I can't imagine what this place is like in the peak tourist season but I'd say it was a bit slow when we were there near the end of September. The food was pretty good though perhaps not worth the $70 I paid (with tip). I'd probably try another spot for dinner before I'd repeat at Alisson's.

Wonderful pub food and great atmosphere! I came in and ordered takeout. I ordered one of their lobster rolls that they had, and let me tell you, they make the best lobster rolls ever!! Decent priced food, phenomenal staff! Yes it can get loud, but it is a pub style place and you would want to consider that pub places can get quite noisy. If you are in the area and looking for something new or get together with a bunch of friends and have drinks, I highly recommend!!

Friendly restaurant in downtown Kennebunkport. The restaurant's lunch menu features a huge selection of craft brews and lots of local lobster and seafood plus the usual pizza and salads for lunch. The dinner menu begins at 5 pm. The food is good....but traditional. You won't find an imaginative signature dish here. What you will find is an impressive beer, Mead and cider menu. I posted a very light and reshreshing Mead I would recommend on a hot summer day.

Allison's was good. Not special in anyway, but the food was all decent pub food, the service was very good, enough variety on the menu that all in our party were able to find a good choice for them. Prices are reasonable. Large number of draft beers, but too many fruity choices.

Friendly staff, great food and lots of it. Sitting at the front window was a little chilly and the waitress forgot about us. Parking on the street is free, but unavailable. There was plenty of parking behind the restaurant ,but there is a toll gate. Parking cost us 6.00 during the slow season.

Alisson's was a great restaurant and the staff was very friendly. My wife and I liked it so much we went twice during our four-day stay in the area. The staff was especially nice to our two-year-old son and went out of their way to make sure he enjoyed his food and chocolate milk! Highly recommend this restaurant.

I was not impressed with Alisson's wait staff this rainy afternoon, 9/2/19. My mum and I went in to have a beer, the bar was full but the tables directly behind the bar were not. We sat down, a waitress came right over to us and asked if the host had sat us there, she had not. The waitress told us that we couldn't not sit there if we were not going to order food, we left. The restaurant had other empty tables scattered around the room. I will not be returning.

Got the full lobster, the Mac and cheese, the picnic and the original rolls and the trio rolls. Good amount of lobster on all of the rolls- my favorite was the picnic. The trio rolls had more bread but also enough lobster to make it a larger meal. The Mac and cheese was just ok- more soupy. Oh and the bloody Mary’s with bacon were super good.

The best restaurant in Kennebunkport Maine. The service was extremely fast and friendly. The Lobster Rissoto is a must try. Loaded with lobster. The lobster bisque was also loaded with lobster and better than most I have tried in the Northeast. The lobster mac and cheese is also killer with tons of lobster and various types of cheese. Huge draft beer options (at least 30, they change daily) with a large selection of bottled beers, wines, and cocktails, this place is an outstanding place to unwind and enjoy an evening. Must try the blueberry ale mode (with Maine blueberries of course)

Entered in hopes of getting regular table asap in order to catch return bus within hour. Greeter accommodated us well within the advised 15 min wait time and offered a table on 2nd level. Gladly assisted 2 guests with stair climb. Very pleasant and courteous. Immediately got our order in and provided beverages. Lunch served in 10 mins. Had plenty of time to enjoy the view overlooking the town square. Very relaxing, excellent menu. All servers were attentive to needs and provided prompt service with a smile. We were passing through and decided to visit this quaint little town. Being in Maine we wanted Lobster! At the recommendation of a local we tried Alisson's restuarant in the heart of the town. Of course most of us got the "Our Famous Maine Lobster Roll" off the menu, $20. It was full of big lobster chunks lightly rolled in Mayo, on a bed of lettuce in a big bun that was toasted. The lobster is the star of the dish as it should be, and it taste fantastic! I got the deviled egg potato salad and again it was a winner, well seasoned without over seasoning. That's probably what I liked best, the food is not drowned in seasoning. Appearances: clean, smells good, and well kept. The tables looked clean, I liked the big napkins and silverware. Def worth a stop if you are in the area.

Allisons has live music, great customer service, good local beer selection, and great dishes. The New England clam showder was AMAZING. Overall, great place.

Good place with the family. Waitstaff was excellent. The online name list is a little wonky. Signed up for a table being quoted a 50 minute wait. We were a solid 20 minutes away, and we alerted our table was ready in about 2 and half minutes.

Only downside was how busy it was and it's an old building with very close quarters which makes it a little too warm and has that a bit too cozy feeling. But overall very good! It was good. The lobster wasn’t as buttery soft as other places. The clam chowder was warm, not hot. Had the lobster trio. Very nice to be able to try different lobster rolls. Their signs say lunch served between 12-5, but we received the same exact menu as the dinner menu. Doesn’t seem to be a difference in choice or price. Would probably try another place next time. Also our waitress seemed too busy to check on us.

First time at Alisson's and it was packed. We had a short wait and were seated within 15 minutes. The staff is very helpful and professional. Terrible. They seated us upstairs where it was uncomfortably cold. Ordered burger medium and fries well done. Server said they do fries in batches, so no guarantee she could accomodate that request. Burger came out well well well done. Ordered soup and mini lobster roll. Soup came out cold and dripping down the side of the mug. She took it back after saying someone else also stated it was cold, microwaved it and brought me back the same mug (drips down the side). Had time for one meal in Maine....what a disappointment.

Went there with two friends. We had eaten at two other places in town, and this was the best!! Service was great, pricing was great, food was great. We had the Petit Lobster Roll Trio, the South of the Border Lobster Roll, Pan Seared Sea Scallops and Lobster Bisque! It was all cooked perfectly and flavor was fantastic. Our waiter (Derrick?) was very attentive, professional, made great suggestions and a pleasure to deal with. We are leaving Kennebunkport tomorrow morning, but had such a great dinner at Allison’s, will recommend it to anyone interested in a relaxed, reasonably priced, great food restaurant!

Great place to visit in the winter. Food was exceptional with service to match. Best risotto ever with each fork filled with fresh seafood topped off with a large lobster tail. Lobster roll was overflowing with lobster meat. The potato salad was served perfectly.
