It's one thing for a coffee shop to tout themselves as fancy and eccentric with a chalkboard and vintage aesthetic. You expect that coffeeshop to sell overhyped brews smothered in buzzwords and descriptors. An aire of snootiness pervading the room. Well throw those expectations out when you visit Réve. Faux-vintage aesthetic? Check. Exotic coffee? Check. And yet not only are the staff really darn nice but even their fancier coffee isn't any more expensive than a cappuccino would be elsewhere. So don't be afraid to let your curiosity out; the barista will gladly help you choose a drink from their sprawling menu. Sit down, relax, and enjoy the fact that your wallet doesn't have to die to find a new coffee experience.

A local coffee rooster which does amazing coffee to order as well as sell bagged coffee. All the staff is experts at their craft. They are helpful and friendly. Even if you aren't really sure on what you are ordering or how to order it they will work with you and help you where you feel comfortable and happy with your final product. If you aren't a professional coffee drinking or even if you are this small shop will definitely make an impact that will be positive and life changing.

I'm writing this review after a few years of coming here. Whenever I first started coming here, I didn't like the coffee at all. I felt that it was too dark and the flavor wasn't for me. Since then, the coffee had gotten significantly better. I enjoy the coffee at various spots they serve it too. I'm knocking one star off due to the service. During my latest visit, they put my nitro coffee on the counter and barely spoke loud enough for me to hear that it was done. I can deal with that. But, the thing that really made me sad to see was whenever they forgot about my friends green tea while it steeped. 8:27 was the time it went for. I still think it's a great place to get coffee, but the service is hit and miss.

Best locally roasted coffee in town with two locations; downtown Lafayette and in the heart of River Ranch. Great modern atmosphere and knowledgeable staff.

Another local favorite of mine. Reve has great coffee and a chill atmosphere. Its a great place to read, study, relax, and hang out with friends. They even have some old board games that you can play and books to read to pass the time. My go to drink is the voodoo elixer. If you order it instore they bring it to you on a trey with all the different ingredients in seperate bottles (like a little chemistry set) for you to mix together. It ads a little fun to your caffeinated experience here. THey have nice artwork and a cool "honeycomb hive: of all the other local shops that they support. It's really helped to revalialize that area of downtoen Lafayette that had little foot traffic 2 or 3 three years ago. I'm currently on a hunt to collect t-shirts from all my favorite local stores in Lfayette and this one is on the list.

Great place to hang out and study. Sometimes the smell of the beans roasting is pretty strong, but definitely adds to the experience. Their black coffee is well caffeinated, so approach with caution. All of their creations are worth a try as well.

Best Coffee Shops

This is easily the best coffee shop in Lafayette! I would personally say that they don’t even have much of a rival in Louisiana until you head into New Orleans (unless you count their second/third location). Their espresso is fantastic regardless of what kind of drink you have it in. Their menu hasn’t changed much as far as their signature drinks go, but what they have on their is all worth exploring. Their customer service is on point! On top of it all, the space is an excellent spot to either hang out with friends or get work done. If you’re coming through Lafayette looking for a great cup of coffee, look no further

Everyone working on the other end of the bar is experienced and considerate, the space is open with lots of great lighting, and the espresso that comes out of their Slayer is top notch! I visit other coffee shops in the area, but this is certainly my go to as well as the place I would most highly recommend.

Very slow service this afternoon. Two coffees and a semi-stale cupcake. We sat down at a dirty table and I had to ask for a rag to clean it with. I was given one instead of the staff offering to clean the table for us! After a ten minute wait we were brought one coffee? Had to wait five minutes for the second one. Very unimpressed. Won't go there again in a hurry!!

Coffee was good here. I had the nitro cold brew. It was a little bitter for my taste and not as smooth as other cold brews I have had, but still a good coffee. I also had a blueberry muffin that was delicious. They have a nice vibe going on inside the cafe too, which made for a good workspace for the few hours I spent here.

A very modern and stylish coffee shop set in a historic building. Great window seating, lots of natural light, pleasant and knowledgeable staff (with good taste in music!) They've got good food (breakfast burrito for the win) and a diverse tea selection. My only complaints are that it is sometimes hard find parking during the day, and sometimes too busy to get a seat inside.

This place is what you think of when you hear "hipster coffee shop" There are a lot of great aesthetics that produce a pleasant atmosphere, as well as a great selection of coffees and teas that are delivered in mugs that compliment the atmosphere. It also has the typical coffee shop necessities: outlets, wifi, seating with tables, etc. It's also conveniently downtown with lots of windows to view the street! Also a bonus: There's boards games like scrabble or cards that you can just pick up and play if you're in the mood for it.
