This is a great, not-quite-local, but with a local feel, coffee shop. It is connected to the Ace hotel. They provide well crafted coffee drinks and a lovely inviting atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and get your coffee to drink there. Hang out for a while on a comfy couch, enjoy the A/C, and relax.

Excellent coffee. I've learned how to make a French press coffee better thanks to the tips that they gave me. This location is convenient to the warehouse and French quarter districts, and located adjacent to a hotel. It's a little different and smaller than Stumptown in other cities, but still the same great coffee.

We tried several hot and cold drinks. I dont drink coffee but my friends said theirs is better than cafe dumonde. The chai was delicious. The hot chocolate was thick and creamy not overly sweet. The barista decorated it with a beautiful leaf The staff was very nice. We ducked into get out of a torrential downpour. Glad we did. We recharged our bodies and phones. They have lots of outlets and usb ports at the big wooden table in the back. And free popcorn

Very very friendly staff and the best coffee in the city! After a 12 hour flight we started our holiday with a cup of coffee in the sun on the small terrace outside. The barista brought us two cups of ice water because it was warm outside. Would highly recommend this place for coffee lovers.

I'm a homebrewer and am always looking for opportunities to learn about coffee. The staff, particularly Rachelle (sp?), was really helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to take time to give tips, resources, etc. It was really a great experience to give me a break from spending time in the hospital with my dad. The single origin coffee selection and flavor profiles i tried were great as well! Will definitely plan on returning and highly recommend this place to anyone.

TL;DR: Lovely place, shame about the coffee. Stumptown *ought* to be good, right? I came in on a hot day for a nitro cold brew and, after having to persuade the server that I wanted a *nitro* cold brew, I got a sour, under-extracted glass of flat nastiness which looked like it had had been pulled with CO2 rather than nitrogen. Kudos to the barista - when I complained, she pulled the brew off the menu and gave me an espresso, which I appreciated, but it wasn't what I went in for. It's a really nice place with a very chilled vibe, but their thing is coffee and they need to work on that.

Beautiful, hip cafe with delicious coffee. Located in the ground floor of a hotel which offers a lot of seating. Free WiFi, a good place to work on a laptop. Try an espresso or pour over coffee here. There is a small selection of pastries and snacks. They also sell their own coffee roasts and will provide you with a sample or feedback if you need help selecting the right beans. Small selection of Stumptown memorabilia available. Best coffee shop staff I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. I love this place, highly recommended.

One of my favorite spots to grab a coffee in the city. The latte is always delicious and worth a wait. I enjoy sitting in the attached Ace lobby and people watching. The shop is always meticulously clean. The baristas are friendly and take their time to create delicious beverages. Their chai is great, but I often order their special. This past trip they had a divine brown sugar latte.

I usually try to keep my pennies pinched for food and new restaurants, but I had a serious need for a mocha latte today. So I decided to give Stumptown Coffee a try. There was quite a line when I arrived so I knew it must've been worth a wait. And it did not disappoint. Props to the friendly barista who had to deal with me fumbling over my order precaffeine. The atmosphere was posh but laid back and relaxed. Very soothing and clean. There were three rooms to sit to enjoy your coffee and a two small tables outside. You can also bring your cup [&baked goods] to the lobby of Ace Hotel as well I'm sure which is well lit with lovely tufted couches. The front room of the coffee parlor has one larger table where caffeine seekers may sit communal style [and avoid eye contact] whilst sipping, reading, etc. The second (middle) room had two armchairs and a couch with small table to relax and sip. And the back room (assuming it is open for all) is more of a study, removed from the hustle and bustle of the front area. There is one long table adorned with study lamps/lighting where customers can qork/study in quiet. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a spot to study, read, work or lightly socialize while enjoying a coffee/beverage.

Delicious coffee options and the atmosphere in the hotel lobby offers a fun eclectic atmosphere. My one complaint would be that the coffee shop does not seem to offer it's own internet option for it's guests. The hotel lobby does have a guest internet option, but I have had a hard time accessing it on my personal devices.

This became my home base and go-to coffee shop during my recent 5 day stay in New Orleans. I did not try their espresso drinks because I was too busy trying pour overs of their broad selection of roasts with recommendations from their awesome baristas. It was my first time drinking Stumptown coffee and I was really impressed. The baristas were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the location (inside the Ace Hotel) is an awesome place to stop by or to hang out for a while.
