I always like the food at La Madeleine. But something has happened at this location. Every time I come here it’s filthy. The sliced lemons for iced tea are in a container that’s so unbelievably dirty it can’t have been washed today. I ordered a salad, and the person who made it went from sweeping the floor to making my salad without washing her hands or changing the glove on her one hand. Every table needs cleaning. The floors have food and bits of paper on them. A customer here brought a jacket to the counter that someone had left. The cashier didn’t thank him and said, “Just put it on the counter.” I’m disappointed to say I am not ever coming back to this location. It’s disgusting.

It was Friday, my daughter suggest the place. I agree. Needed a coffee and, and also a salad. There were two cars in the place at 7pm. and that call my attention, 2 months ago it was hard to find parking. Well I realize after, why. Coffe was old and cold. It looks they left the leftover since the morning, I notify the counter about and they offer to reheat it, I explain then it was old, needles to said they don't want to give e me a fresh cup. Salad was ok. But overall I will not comeback there, that is why there were no cars. Service is bad. ,

La Madeleine is so good! Your salads are perfect every time I get them. And I can great the whole thing. The feel of the restaurant is very nice and compliments the French atmosphere! The customer service was very good. I spent my birthday here with some family and we all had a great time. I will definitely be joining y’all for lunch soon.

This place was very nice! The coffee had a lot of grinds in it! The kitchen staff saw to it immediately! We were not rushed, just sat and talked a good bit and no one attempted to get us going. The service was great and the quiech was tasty!

We just relocated her in Mandaville and this was my first online delivery order. When we only received half our order I called and the young lady was lazy and lost. She couldn’t find my order. Didn’t look it up and said I need to come in and prove things were missing. I was ordered from other chain restaurants and have had great service. They need to work a little harder to take care of their customers.

Food was excellent. I got the French dip which was fantastic, mashed potatoes which were amazing, and some kind of French hash brown patty that was delicious. The mango tea was really good. There's also also a bread bar with all you can eat little slices of fresh baked bread with butter, honey, and different jams. An excellent filler if you like carbs, which I do. One star down because of the confusion in ordering. I didn't know where I was supposed to order or if I'm just supposed to walk around with my menu.

I really like this place. Their food doesn't have a lot of seasoning but the flavor of the ingredients truly make up for it. Inside the decoration is great and makes a vacation vibe. And not only that but the bakery is good too. I'll definitely go here again.

Food was good, but trays smelled of sour water. They had someone take care of that. I know it was not their fault, but AC was not cooling, so it was hot. I know that was a temporary situation, so probably all good now?

**I love this chain, BUT... the staff at this location was just rude, slow- and just dodnt care how the buyer/patron wants.. I've given them 2 oppurtunites to change my mind- They fail miserably both times. STAY AWAY!!!

I love this place and so does my little one but this location has terrible customer service. Last 3 times I have been there the tables stacked high with dishes and crumbs. The staff not friendly. They ran out of ingredients so they just decide they are going to give the customer what they feel like giving them. I heard a lady repeatedly asking for tea from the time I paid until I left. The last time it looked like a ghost town. I stood there waiting maybe 10 minutes. Catching glimpses of employees and no one said I will be right there or someone is coming. I just walked out and vowed not to go back. Even my little one was ok with leaving. It is a shame. I expect more from this location.

Chicken pesto pasta with a zip tie in it ... called management but they said they don't use zip ties? Lol unbelievable. So happy I didn't feed this to my kids cause they definitely would of choked. Never again will I eat at this place. the past two times I ate here was just terrible.

Over priced cafeteria food only thing nice about this place is the outside. Smelled of nothing but bleach when we walked in. Food was cold and nasty. Also no changing tables are available if you go there with small babies.

The food is average honestly. It comes off as very fresh, but unfortunately the taste just isn't that great. I usually get the French Dip sandwich, but it's very bland. The one thing that is AMAZING is the strawberry dish with the yogurt or whatever it is on it. Trust me, that stuff is amazing. The only thing I wish they'd do is slice the strawberries instead of serving them whole. Biting into a whole strawberry isn't as enjoyable as biting into smaller slices. The pricing is also a bit high for everything in my opinion.

Would have made this a 5 star a few months ago, but last 2 visits have shown that the food is going downhill fast. Old/cold/overcooked would describe my last breakfast there and old/stale/soggy describes my last pastry item (on a completely separate visit from the breakfast, several weeks apart). I hope it improves again soon, it used to be amazing!

OMG!! First time visitor and I have a whole different opinion. Need some fresh delicious bread? You have to pop in!! I was always of the opinion it was a fancy place, I could not just go in. No! The bakery is right by the front door. Cafe type seating off to the left out of the way of the most mouth watering treats ever. Lucious cakes by the slice, custards, pies by the slice and the list goes on. A must try!!

I love la madeleine, The pesto pasta is amazing. unfortunately, EVERYTIME i go in they run out of the bread they give with the pasta. Maybe its because i usually go in after work so like around 7pm? its not that big of a deal for me though. Last time i went in i asked for the bread and minutes later a worker came up to me and said they had no bread but that they were happy to give me a croissant if i wanted one so that was really nice.

Great casual atmosphere including a fireplace. Large variety of entrees, desserts and drinks. I had a french dip and my husband had an entree similar to a shepherds pie. Both were delicious. Will definitely be back.

Terrible experience! Ordered at the counter and proceeded to wait ( on the bench by the takeout counter, front and center) for my order (just the half sandwich,soup,salad). It was 11:30 didn't seem very busy. I felt like I was quietly ignored. After numerous people came and went picking up orders and no one acknowledging me, I approached the counter and asked about my order, oh yeah it was ready, seemed to have been ready and if I would just wait for the people that had come after me then I could pay for my order. I decided that was enough and I left without my lunch. I must mention that I am also 9 months pregnant, maybe slightly emotional but still hungry and deserving of decent customer service. I will not try this establishment again or recommend it.

Excellent experience here. And just the restaurant for a breakfast meeting. Food was exceptional I highly recommend the waffles with a special syrup adding a topping of strawberries along with maple-bacon trust me you cannot go wrong with this combination... The area was quiet and very conducive to holding a small meeting of four.
