I LOVED Joe's Donuts...I even order their hot dinners and one time for lunch i ordered something that was nothing like i expected and not any portions at all!!!! I tried to go and talk to a manager and he was very rude didn't even want to hear anything I had to say. As good as they are I will never go back again...that was very hurtful!!!!

My family was in the mood for donuts while waiting for the stroke of midnight for New Years. We visited around 9pm. There was one person managing the front and looked to be one in the kitchen. I entered the establishment and the counter person was all over the place and I was told she would be with me shortly. There was maybe 3 to 4 people in the place. The phone rang a couple times and she took those orders while I stood to be told 9 mins later that they had no glazed donuts. Total waste of my time.

The service was very good quick and friendly, however, the food was cold when I got it, toast not really toasted, a slice of processed cheese placed on top of my grits not even melted just sitting on top for 75¢ extra I could have brought my own slice of cheese! Grits tasted watery, anyone use milk anymore? Apparently not! If you just want hot coffee and a donut or maybe French Toast than this is the place for you but if you want a full on "country" breakfast not so much. I recommend Huddle House further down at 9 Mile Point truck stop. Much better food there and more reasonably priced. Too bad.... the staff is very nice but I won't be returning to eat in, maybe grab a donut and coffee to go but unfortunately for the wait staff... I don't tip for just donuts and coffee to go.

Awesome Average Joe's coffee and beignets. A great New Orleans area local chain cafe. This place is 24 hours and the staff was super. They have a full menu which includes poboys, jambalaya and gumbo, and fresh baked pastries. If you want to experience New Orleans style at local resident prices, this is the place.

Ordered mini burgers, was on a time limit because I work for a funeral home and had to go to the airport. I waited for about 25 minutes before they came and said they didn’t have mini burgers. Then the cook or someone from the back comes out and says what else are they getting and the waitress said 5 donut holes and the person said why. First of all it’s your fault for not being clear and don’t ask why because you didn’t take my order so mind your own business. Very upsetting. Customer service should be #1

This place has AMAZING food to just be called a cafe. Their Cajun Eggrolls with pepper jelly and the Fried Fish JoJo (although I had mine with grilled fish) is to die for!!!! And let's not forget about their apple fritters and buttermilk drops!! And as if it could not get any better, Joe's is open 24 hours with a drive thru!!!

They have one of the best burgers and hot sausage poboys in the country. I usually add fried egg on my sandwiches. super friendly staff makes you feel like you are home. Donuts are great too. Breakfast is really good. Again, if you are looking for a that good ol' human interaction and great food then you are in the right place.

If I could leave zero I would... Ordered a Large Chili Cheese Fries TO-GO over the phone. Recieved a 6×6 (small styro) container of cheese fries and was informed they were out of chili upon my arrival. Was asked and like a fool agreed to some gravy to top the (now cheese fries). What I recieved was watered down bag gravy mix and obviously water. I then asked for some crawfish egg rolls and 2 apple fritters. Bill was over 20.00 after what I assumed was an appropriate (20%) tip. Got home and was VERY displeased with what I received. CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Even better advice is order from the Harbor on Ridgelake. They were closed for hood cleanings in the kitchens. Next time ill go to bed hungry before ordering from Joes

The waitress forgot to put in our order, notices 15 minutes later and forgets to put the order in again. cook comes out and try’s to start argument with the us to defend why the order was forgotten 2 times but the two customers after already have their orders. Had their donuts once and really enjoyed them. But the next 4 times I tried to come buy more, they never have any. Last night I go and ask when they were going to be more and the "worker" (whom was rude) told me at 4am. That was two hours later From when I came there. If you know any other place that sells donuts, go there. If ever on the North shore, try ButterKrisp. Best donuts and THEY ALWAYS HAVE SOME READY TO SERVE. unlike this bum place. I usually go to Joe's whenever I visit LA. Tonight I had the best experience ever on regular basis. Every time I am there the staff are super friendly and he food is amazing. I love to eat but the unprofessional workers baffles me.. I was there early hours in the time the 2 ladies were switching shifts. The night girl was leaving and the day girl coming in.. The day time worker had an awful attitude and was not polite. She and another worker from the back were dicussing the display that the night girl didn't do.. And how it should have been done. Its seems to me that place is full of drama queens. Im a manager and the owners would probably fire me if their business was handled with this much unprofessional behavior.. I mean really who freely uses profanity like that in a place for families. I will not be back.

The last two times ive went, I have gotten the peanut butter and jelly donut and also the apple crumble donut except when I get on the road and start to eat them...there's nothing in the middle of them. Just plain thick donut with some peanuts or some crumble on top. One more strike.

All we ask for was tomatoes for the omelette and was given attitude we gave them a very good tip and still treated us poorly. The food was cold and they never offered to heat it up. We spent a lot of money on breakfast and bought donuts. What would it cost them for a few tomatoes. There was plenty of people behind the counter but no teamwork. One gentlem shook his coworker so hard she cried out in pain and he laughed about it.

Assumed they were simply clearing the line at the counter, but then three employees left the register together to apparently take out trash- still without even greeting us. My boyfriend and I order food here pretty regularly and are generally happy with the food. We love their donuts and other pastries! We have ordered dinner there a few times and enjoyed it as well. Unfortunately tonight when he ordered the chicken strip dinner, the chicken tasted sour and like it had gone bad. It was very unappetizing! My fish was delicious though.

I have been a customer for 2 years now. I get multi dozen donuts for my work every friday for the last 2 years. I always call the night before to put in my order to be boxed and ready for pick up friday mornings by 6 am so i can just grab them and go. I've never had any issues until tonight. The waitress working the dinner shift was extremely rude to me over the phone and had a horrible attitude. Instead of greeting me when she answered the phone she answered with a very rude hello.When i told her I'm a regular and asked to put in my order she told me she was to busy to help me and for me to call back at 5 am then hung up. I came in to fill out an order a couple minutes later since she was to busy to help me over the phone and it was just her there and she was still very rude to me and had a horrible attitude. She acted like i was a burden. It was disappointing to be treated this way after being a loyal customer for so long.

The red headed girl working behind the counter had a lot of attitude towqrd the customers and her co-workers. It made for an uncomfortable atmosphere. Combine that with the fact that it took over 20 minutes to get a bacon and egg biscuit (to go) and you have an experience that makes you not want to return. Here's a tip for the employee. If someone orders a breakfast sandwich to go, let them know it may take 20 minutes. Most people can't wait that long and will just go to Wendy's down the street. I wasn't the only one who was upset about the wait.

Food was good but service was unacceptable,, Angelica was our server as we first walked in she had a nasty attitude on her face, didn't take the time to take my little sisters drink order, was too busy trying to rush to the back to even get my older sisters order, didn't check to see how everything was didn't ask if the checks needed to be split up(we were a big group so that's what a server is supposed to ask when she has big tablets) when I asked if she was able to split it she had an attitude and said no. And wanted to argue back with my sister when she spoke up about the food order, we weren't gonna say anything but after everything else couldn't hold our tounge any longer.

Do not go if you want hot donuts!! I even went at 7:35 in the morning, donuts could only be colder if they were put in the fridge. I beleive they were just under 6 dollars for a half dozen, pretty steep for donuts. So I payed 6 dollars to eat one, and I'm abandoning the rest at work. Coffee must be a decent price total for half dozen donuts and a medium coffee 7.60..

The best donuts ever!!! This place is fantastic and I can't recommend the burgers and cajun egg roles enough. Again, don't walk out of there without a donut. They are the best I've ever had. Lacey the waitress was incredibly nice, too. I just had an awesome time.

This location is in a good area and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I think the prices are a bit to pricey compare to what you get from other establishment. I ordered a pancake brkfs with sausage Patty and I didn't say patty as two but only given one sausage Patty with eggs scramble and cheese which the damage turned out to be 10.63. Which didn't include toast nor a biscuit! Add American cheese for .75 cent "Wow"! But my sweet tea was only. 99 cents which was delicious! This establishment has a very good menu selection but for the price you pay it should be more items included with the price your paying for! There Donuts look fresh and there staff members working there are outstanding but there pricing could be alittle more lower for the customers! Go see for yourself what I'm talking about in the price you pay for what your buying! Ms. Angelica and all the other staff that works at this location does a great job and are valuable assets to this company! I want to point out this establishment is very clean and the staff team are very customer's orientated and welcomes all that walks into the doors including myself! I would recommend this location to my followers and family and friends! Joe's Cafe Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!

Best greasy spoon cafe on the Southshore! You get the regular old diner feel, with all the quick table service of a regular restaurant. Staff is very friendly, large menu choice, and food cooked to order. Delicious options at reasonable prices. Definitely make this a stop on your way home!

The terrytown location i would give 5 stars to, especially since my girl TABITHA rocks the house there, but the westwego location...hmmmm. we placed a to go order late at night. Food was good, but the person at the counter seemed like she didnt want to be there at all. I work in the service industry and i always tip well. I tipped at least $6-7 for our to go order and i still received attitude. They also forgot my side of okra.

Really wish i could give zero stars, Pulled up all three employees who were working this shift were outside, One of them went back inside, (im guessing to help me, but that didnt happen) , I walked in and the lady who i thought was going to help me was in the back and im sure she heard me come in because theres a bell that went off when i opened the door, I waited for her to come to the front to help me, I waited there for maybe 5 minutes, and the lady never came to help me. So as im leaving the other two workers are outside smoking a cigg, and I asked them if they were closed and a guy employee told me they never close, and i replied "well no one is up there" and the other worker who was an elderly lady said "oh she didnt help you" i told her no one came to help me , then she replied "oh im sorry" and continued to smoke her cigg, without anyone else offering to help, ridiculous, awful service. They didnt even give care! In response to owner under the comments, I never ordered because the Lady never came to the front to take my order I was standing there waiting while two other employees were outside smoking, which they didnt offer to help me even after i complained that no one took my order.

Don’t order the breakfast. Stick to the donuts. HORRIBLE! Nasty eggs scrambled in two tons of fake butter grease, old biscuits, and literally SPOILED hash browns. Waitress made no offer to replace or even as much as an apology when I told her the potatoes were ROTTEN. It was obvious I didn’t eat anything. Was hoping to try one of their burgers at some point. That AIN’T HAPPENING. I’m too afraid of getting food poisoning from there now. Stick to the sweets. Close the kitchen. Never seen breakfast this messed up in my life.

Ordered the pork chop dinner with Mac and potatoes. The first time they brought the Mac and cheese out it was over cooked and hard the second time it was cold. Then I order the donut and it was mushy in the middle. Did not enjoy this meal today. When I first came here order the surf and turff burger and it was amazing with the shrimp stuffed in it. And the donuts were good. The sleeve with the bill was falling apart and needs to be replaced. Waitress was nice tho.

We went for National Waffle Day to enjoy the waffles. The staff was most welcoming and knowledgeable. The facility is a cross between an old-style diner and a donut shop. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a good selection of options. The place was busy with dine-ins and take-outs. Adequate parking. The service was quick. We ordered waffles and they were out quickly. I placed butter and honey on mine. My wife had butter and syrup. Although the waffles didn't stay hot, we still enjoyed our time with one another. I gave Joe's a 3-Star rating...leaving room for an increased rating when we return. Yes, we'll give them another opportunity to woo us over with their food. Enjoy.

We had the experience of visiting Joe’s recently. The first night the food was delicious and the service was excellent. A very nice waitress waited on us that night. The second night was not good at all. Our food was not great and when it was time to pay, the waitress or shift manager took out both bills on one credit card when she had both in her hands. I asked if it could be reversed she said No, you have to come back tomorrow morning when the Manager is in. What??? Bad food and bad service. No more Joe’s for us in New Orleans!!

This is the worst place I have ever been to to eat. I ordered roast beef with Swiss dressed with gravy toasted. They served me roast beef not toasted. American cheese. No gravy.
