My girlfriend and I went to get breakfast here. I ordered a Croissant Sandwich, which I enjoyed very much. My girlfriend ordered the Breakfast Platter, and said it was ok. She commented on how the eggs tasted like they were powdered, and jazzed up a bit with green onions. To be fair, their grits were fire, so was the bacon. One thing to note was their coffee cup sizes. I ordered a medium, my girlfriend a small, both "to go". I noticed the medium was taller than the small, but much more slim. When we got back to the apartment we filled up the small cup to compare the size to that of the medium one. Turns out they were exactly the same. All in all it was an ok spot. Hence 3 stars.

Staff was not helpful to people from out of town. Also very racist! Maybe if you were part of the 21st century and had a diverse staff as I do at the restaurant I manager, people of ALL RACES would feel welcome here! Also, just Fyi, scrambled eggs don't work on an English muffin!

This is a nice, casual lunch or coffee stop near Lakeside. The menu is primarily salads, sandwiches and soups. They also have a pastry, pie, and cake assortment by the slice. Today at a coffee meet up I had a divine mug of hot chocolate and whipped cream.

Decent place. 25th anniversary, so it must be a local favorite. Heard one of the staff say this is the lull (between breakfast and lunch), so that may be why it seems a little lack luster. I’d say, seems fine for soup salad type of meal. Coffee only ok. Pastry is is fine in quality and variety.

I can't comment on the coffee but I have eaten the from the lunch menu a few times. First off, the staff is usually very friendly so no issues there. The actual food itself is just too bland for my liking. I have eaten four different salads and they are never worth the price. The vinaigrettes always taste like 90% oil and 10% actual flavor. They use mostly romaine for their salads, which is fine except for when the salad is described as "mixed greens" and is still romaine with one or two spring leaves thrown in. I don't eat meat but have heard their chicken chicken salad is good. Overall, it's a cute little coffee shop but expect slightly overpriced bland food.

Have been a customer for so many years--since the Clearview location opened. I only go to the North Hullen location now as it's closest to my house. I'm really disappointed in how small the portions have become over the last year. I'm a very petite female adult & leave hungry after eating a "lunch" sized portion. Really upset about this as for so many years this was my favorite lunch spot. Bring back the larger sized portions please or lower your prices to reflect the smaller servings.

Scrambled eggs dont work well on an English muffin. It would be nice to have other options. Staff was not helpful and seemed to have negative attitudes on full display. This is not how you want to start your day. Go across the street and eat at the kosher deli.

Caffe’ Caffe’ has gone above and beyond both times I have used them for a customer luncheon. Every order was correct and included all the necessities.
