A surprisingly good eatery located at NOMA. The portion sizes were on the healthier side. The service was excellent and old school for a Cafe with the server bringing food to our table instead of us having to pick it up and bring it. Seating was comfortable. Overall, a classy place. We got the soup and sandwich combo. The tomato and basil soup was really delicious and healthy. I enjoyed the portobello mushroom sandwich which was more of a burger (brioche bun) served with a piece of grilled portobello mushroom with cheese and veggies. The size was on the smaller side - I would have liked a bigger sandwich for the price. We also got the flatbread with cherry tomatoes and mushrooms- it was super delicious and the crust was thin and crunchy. Totally recommend this.

Fresh ingredients and helpful staff make this a nice place to grab a bite. The Salmon Bruschetta was very good. Stop by the front desk of the museum at the entrance to let them know you are just going to the cafe and they will give you a little pin to put on your shirt /no museum charge if just visiting the cafe. The cafe will be towards the middle right of the museum.

Wonderful cafe inside the New Orleans Museum of Art. It's a great lunch spot. I usually get the half soup half sandwich combo. I love the vegetarian beet slider which is so flavorful.

Love the open atmosphere, pleasant staff, and delicious small plates! Gorgeous view of the park- a wonderful place to study or chat with a friend. You can visit any time- even if you're just strolling in the park and not planning to visit the museum! Also, it's open after hours until 9pm on Friday evenings.

I haven't visited in a while, but what I remember most is the day I brought friends visiting from out of Atlanta a few years ago. The weather was so bad that day, although it seemed to be storming just over NOMA (you know how it is here in Nola)! It took an extra long time for the food to come out, only a few of us actually got our food, and ultimately the cafe (and maybe the museum itself) had to close. We were so disappointed because the food is so good! Plus were hangry - you know how folks get when they're hungry! At the end of the day, however, Cafe NOMA still gets 5 stars being awesome and putting safety first. Under normal circumstances the food is very good. I love the healthy menu and quality ingredients. They offer cooking demos and workshops and other fun events I highly recommend.

I eat there often, as am in the museum often.Have never had anything that was bad. All dishes average around $10 . There is coffee , tea , wine and dessert. Run by Brennan's.

Great food and of course great art at this Cafe in the New Orleans Museum of Art . Great salads, flat bread pizzas and sliders like the Black Forest and white cheddar on honey wheat buns. Come on Wednesday when museum admission is free and make it a day. Entry to Cafe doesn't require admission fee

Running around the three stories of the NOMA can make you work up an appetite. Where better to go than the Cafe that's already in the museum? Since this museum is in the middle of a vast network of parks, it's really the best option when hunger hits you with a brick. This "Cafe" has mostly $11 food items, coffee, and an expanded bar. The food portions are rather small for the price, and it sucks even more because the food you paid so much for tastes pretty bad. The staff were very nice and friendly, and the convenience can't be overstated. But, for me, if I could- I would have waited for another place to eat. They do offer free fountain drink refills.

Good museum cafe for a lunchtime break in the park. You can visit without paying the entrance fee for the museum, but you may need to queue for a pass.

Great place for a lighter lunch or a small bite later in the afternoon. I can personally recommend the turkey bacon panini, which was among the best sandwiches I've ever had.
