Beignets and cafe au lait are always good but don't get the iced coffee because they don't sweeten it and if you attempt to stir sugar in iced coffee, it won't dissolve.

I love Cafe Du Monde. Prior to the Northshore cafes opening your only choice when you got a craving for cafe au lait, hot chocolate or beignets was an hour drive to the French Quarter. The atmosphere isn't quite the same, no cathedral in the distance or Mississippi nearby, but I leave with my stomach just as happy. Convenient hours, easy to get to and not nearly as crowded as the French Quarter flagship location, highly recommend.

The beignets were absolutely wonderful and a great way to start the day or end the night. Prices are super cheap (less than $3) and the service was fantastic. The Cafe au Lait is a great, authorization New Orleans coffee drink.

The history of the Cafe du Monde goes back to the 1800 in the French Quarter and they brought that history to the Northshore. It is a great place to go for french style donuts and Cafe au Lait.

What an absolute pleasure it was to visit this place the staff never let your glass reach halfway full before topping it off. The chef was nice enough to come out and greet us all personally and get our input on his dish which I thought was amazing. If you are a tourist definitely visit to Café Du monde on the north shore.

Absolutely a beautiful place. This was my first visit, and the beignets were fresh and delicious like no other. The fellow making them was also very nice to the kids. One minor complaint, the coffee tasted a bit old. (It was late in the afternoon) Not a big deal, obviously. My wife asked the lady at the register if she could have some extra milk to try to soften the bitterness. She replied, "Yes, but I'll have to charge you for" That was a big surprise! Maybe she had a bad day... Who knows.

The beignets are good, not better than anywhere else... coffee is also just ok. You're going there for the history, I guess. The line is too long, the seating is disgustingly dirty and the price is too high. I really wouldn't recommend but because of the history people are ok with it ignoring what no other food establishment could get away with.

This Cafe Du Monde definitely has a different atmosphere than the original in New Orleans but the beignets are always hot and fresh. The cafe is extremely clean! Their gift shop area has a very wide selection of items to choose from. My favorite time to visit this one is early in the morning or just before closing bc it is at its quietest. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I probably visit here 3-5 times in a 7-8 day time period while visiting with family!

Fun café right off the interstate. Great beignets and coffee. Iced coffee is not sweet which you don't need it to be if you are eating the beignets with it. The frozen coffee is great, but super sweet! Lots of souvenir choices as well. Clean and friendly.

Great little beignet spot. Nothing beats the atmosphere of the original in the FQ but it's great having a cafe du monde in mandeville close to home. Liz that works the floor is awesome. She always has a smile for you and brings hats to the kids. She is 5 stars all the way.

I paid with a 20 dollar bill and the lady gave me the wrong change. I even had my receipt that said 20 dollars. When I complained, she said that my receipt was wrong. The manager was extremely rude with the situation and finally decided to give the 10 dollars back saying “here are the 10 dollars since you seem to need them so much” in a very rude manner and infront of other costumers. Next time you go there, make sure that when you pay, someone is with you to witness your transaction.
