Not impressed, PJ’s was close last night and ordered a medium cafe mocha that tasted like some kinda cheap powdered coffee. Cost was maybe $4.38... I had to pour it out the window, absolutely disgusting. Race-trac coffee is way way better. That medium was pretty much a small. Mental note never go for coffee there.

A bit disappointing. Beignets were hot and fresh but it was disappointing that nothing else was offered besides coffee or milk. The beignets tasted just like any other beignet or donut. Glad we got to experience the Louisiana treat though.

We planned on going to the Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans but where forced to change our route for to flooding. We were very happy to see this was along our new path. This is a great location just off the interstate in a small shopping center. Our group ordered beignets expecting the famous fresh pastries everyone has heard of. What we received were cold chewy dough squares that were pulled from a storage box below the prep station. I wish we braved the flooding on I-10 to try the real thing.

Had the "typical" Cafe Du Monde beignets & coffee (as seen in the photos). Arrived early/mid afternoon, Thursday. Not busy or crowded. Workers were making them fresh, courteous folks. Just looking for a great snack on a long drive back to Texas from a vacation in Orlando (Aug2017). The Cafe "delivered" on the hot sugar coated beignets, coffee, quick service, clean bathroom. Tables were a bit sticky but still a lot less sticky than the ones in the French Qtr. Definitely a key stopping point every time we go by this area.

OMG.... I love this place. Staff is super friendly. Coffee is hot and delicious. The beignets are to die for. So much powered sugar it should be a crime. Not as crowed as the French quarter location, but the same quality. Why wait in line for the same thing, will definitely be back to have more. This place is an icon in New Orleans and rightfully so. Always fresh and hot. I can't wait to return, just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Hit here first and have time to see the sights of New Orleans instead of waiting in line at the French quarter location. Plus let's face it, you know you are going to eat half a bag on the way down. Order 2 bags. Did I mention a drive thru, you don't even have to get out of the car to have this treat. If I lived here I would be a total fat ass.

My dad always tries to get us all together once a month for breakfast and this is our go to place! If you have friends or family coming from out of town and you want them to experience something New Orleans with the trip to New Orleans go here this is the perfect place!

Can’t comment on actual items, only on service. It’s non existent. Got off interstate specifically to get a coffee here. Drive thru had two cars ahead of me. Waited several minutes for my turn and then sat there for many more minutes without anyone taking my order. One clerk held a finger up but never came back. A younger guy just stood around with his hands in pockets. They were well aware I was there, but I ended up leaving empty handed. Won’t be back.

What can I say, it's Cafe Du Monde! Just like the ones on the South shore except cleaner and less crowded and less noisy, making it a very pleasant experience. This place does have the window for kids to watch them make beignets ! Fun!

Get there around 4pm on black Friday so not much people around where most people still shopping. Nice staffs and off course great dessert and coffee. My kids love especially the fine sugar part. Frankly still love the original main store and feel that the coffee taste better. Hope you enjoy it as I do.

Have eaten at other Cafe Du Monde locations, this one was terrible. Stopped in here on a Saturday evening. The first table we sat down at was completely sticky. The beignets taste like they had been fried previously and just reheated a bit. And the staff chose to hide while people were coming and going so couldn't even ask to have some made fresh.

Always hot and fresh beignets. Tonight the dishwasher was broken and so we had to drink out of to go cups but the quality is always great. Hope soon the dishwasher is up and running again for that full experience. I hate Styrofoam cups. Kills the coffee.

The cafe au lait was nowhere near what I remember when I was young. When I was young it was strong and rich with cream. This is weak and I cannot tell if what they put in it was cream or a little milk. Of course this is not the one in the French Market. The store is clean and has a nice, relaxing, comfortable atmosphere. There are only 2 receptacles to plug your electronics in. I will come back but I won't order the cafe au lait.

We were so excited to see a Cafe Du Monde outside of NOLA so we stopped in to give them a try. We were a bit disappointed. The beignets were hot and delicious, but the milk was expired and the restaurant was filthy! It was not busy at all, maybe 3 families, but there were no clean tables, milk all over the floor in one area and trays stacked 4 deep on the souvenir counter. We were there about 30 minutes and as we were leaving someone finally came out to clean.

We stopped in quickly to grab beignet mix on our way out of the area and appreciated the clean setting and fast, friendly service. Beignets are not a great to-go item, however, and I'm not sure how fresh ours were before they sat in the bag for a few minutes on our drive. They were certainly heavier than we're used to. But even slightly sub-par beignets are better than no beignets. ☺️

Delicious frap here and the beignets with powdered sugar are so delicious!!! the prices are a bit high but so are all coffee houses. Small frap & a bag of 3 beignets cost about ten dollars. The place is very clean both inside and outside the restaurant. The staff always smiling and happy every time I've been there.
