Still my favorite coffee shop in Lexington. Sure it's busy, that's part of the charm. So expect to wait a few minutes. Handcrafted beverages and food takes a minute, but it's so worth it. The place draws a wonderful type of person, so there's usually someone friendly to strike up a conversation with while you wait. If you're the shy type, there's plenty to enjoy visually as well, great decor and fun gifts.

Must be the coolest friendliest coffee and sandwich shop in Lexington! The locally roasted coffee was strong and balanced and perfect for an iced coffee. We tried the classic Olive Nut sandwich, and the Ham and Cheese. Both were delicious on fresh bread, and great prices for everything. My daughter tried the raspberry seltzer and loved it! Was not overly sweet, but nicely balanced between seltzer, syrup and whipped cream. Great art and decor, lots of comfy seating inside and out, excellent wifi, and awesome staff. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a unique cafe experience, this is exactly where you will find it. The environment is cozy, the music is funky, the art is out of a story book and there is free WiFi available. I make sure to visit everytime I travel to Kentucky! The Bold Peruvian Shade Grown Coffee with a sprinkle of Coconut Milk is out of this world. There are many options available to those on a vegan, gluten-free or non-lactose diet.

Had coffee here this evening. Atmosphere is great, the little shop is so much fun to poke around in. When I realized I'd locked my keys in my car the staff was concerned and made sure I was getting help (I called AAA, no worries lol) and were great at not pressuring me to order until it was resolved. Keys in hand, I ordered the mochanut, on ice, and it was REALLY good. I only drink coffee sparingly, because I'm rather picky and I would definitely some back here again. I'm only not giving 5 stars because I didn't stay for food or try the baked goods, so I don't know how EVERYTHING is, but the drinks and staff are top notch.

This is a nice collection of lexington. Coffee from Lexington coffee and tea, vegan cookies, brownies, cakes from local bakers. We had a pumpkin bourbon cheesecake for two that was to die for from Backroads Bakery...yum!

A customer for more than 10 years, and from time to time I've slept in the parking lot in between apartments, and was always treated with respect. A great spot to kick off political activism rallies, or coerce with underbelly degenerate writers and musicians. The food is wacky pricey, but they have the best espresso machine in town and I would recommend anything made by it. I've made life long friends with some of the talent that works here, and they've been stand in art instructors for many a patron, myself included. The homeless regulars are also treated with kindness, while the patio remains comfortable. Thankfully Third Street Stuff survived the recent wave of gentrification, although the city drastically changed. I live in the mountains, these days.

I'm glad you replied. I thought I had hit 5 starts not 4. Tonight was the first night I had visited here. The atmosphere was great and it had a great mix of people it seemed from all ages and walks of life. The decor is a little retro, a little funk, a little class, but all unique. Although what I ordered wasn't on the menu, the staff said they could do it for me anyway. This makes it a memorable place and one I will return to. Only negative was that there was a couple of empty mugs on the tabke we saw we wanted to sit at. But that isn't enough if a negative to even lose a star for. I'm glad I came here. I'll see you soon again. BUY LOCAL!!

Quirky and hipster coffee shop. The decorations are loud and visually stimulating. Even the outside of the building is colorful. It's small enough to feel intimate, but when a couple sat at the table next to me, I could hear every word of their conversation. It was distracting, so I moved to another room that had a couch. The staff were a bit odd. The person who took my order barely said a word. He just stared. When I asked what teas were decaf, he just pointed at them.

I keep hoping when I visit that I might be able to convince her to open a coffee shop in Georgetown, but I don't think it will happen sadly. It I hate to replicate such an easy going and welcoming atmosphere! Great job to the staff here on always being amazing.

Unique and so colorful! The only place I can go to focus on my dissertation. The decorations are great for people with ADHD to sit down somewhere and be able to get constructively distracted, and then get back to work! Also, the desserts are delicious! I totally recommend the white hot chocolate w/ marshmallow, and you can get it FROZEN for summer!!!

One of my favorite coffee shops in the city. Cozy and fun. I wish they'd play weirder music. It used to be that coffee shops went out of their way to play weird stuff. Now it's all 80s. If I'm going to hear bad music, I'd prefer that it was bad music I've never heard before. Of course, that's a general critique of our whole society, not this coffee shop.

What a cute, interesting place. It had a loungey, cafe feel. The decor is awesome, you can tell the owners paid lots of attention to every detail of every inch of this place, even the outside. They having coloring books and crayons and colored pencils!! I was saddened that I saw Jones Soda in one of their photos, that’s the only reason we went there; but no Jones! Still a very cute place! Oh and the items they sell are hysterical; check out the hand towels in the photos!

Sometimes the drinks come out lukewarm or not properly mixed (all the chocolate at the bottom in a hot chocolate), but they will remake it if that's the case. It's got a nice vibe. Limited couch space is available.

This shop definitely has a fun, boho vibe to it. I especially love that they're human friendly, meaning beyond that, they don't care if you're any one or all colors of the rainbow ;-) They offer great tasting, free trade coffee at a fair price (refill 50¢). Otherwise, they seem to offer mainly sandwiches, salads, & bagels. What I've had of their food has been ok, but seemed a little pricey to me ($23+change for 2 espresso coffees, 2 of what was essentially cheese sandwiches & grapes). They also sell a modest section of postcards, candy and other small odds & ends and are open a wide range of hours.
