The food and service (for us) was great. Will definitely go back. Took off a star because while we were ordering, a staff member verbally assaulted another customer who was leaving and didn’t bus his own table. Bottom line, you don’t yell insults at your customers.

Okay, if it wasn't for taking a lunch / breakfast out with my Mom, I would never have known, or even ever gone to this little town. This place is a diner, grocery store, and post office, all in one. When we went in, my first thought as a vegetarian is, are they going to be able to serve me anything in this small town place that I would eat. The answer is yes. They said they aren't VEGAN, but they do have gravy without sausage, and can scramble eggs without milk. That was all I needed, until it was served. It was fantastic food. It tasted just like something sourced and prepared at home, not frozen from a food truck. When you're done eating, step out back on the deck, that overlooks a peaceful creek and country scenery.

The Dixie Cafe is a wonderful place to have breakfast or lunch at! They serve breakfast all day, every day (Mon-Sat). Their country style setting is nostalgic & the back deck overlooking the creek is a quiet getaway!

Great place for breakfast! They make more than just breakfast though. From the 3 egg scramble, to the pancake stack, it is hard to go wrong! They also have a refrigerated case with soda, and a few shelves of snacks for you to take on your way.

Great place to eat! The food is really really good! Only wish they stayed open longer. Door says they close at 5:30 Monday to Friday. They use good quality ingredients and the prices are very very fair. I spend about 15$ plus tip but I eat A LOT the average person could eat for under 10$ here and fill up, I do not eat like the average person more like 3 times the average persons. Everything I've had has been outstanding and I'll be coming back for more!

I have been here for breakfast several times and always enjoyed it! The food is wonderful! They have some really great "normal" foods, but also several combinations that are unique and really fun to try. I can't wait until the weather warms up and we can get out on the back porch again. Aside from the main cafe, their gifts and Irish groceries are great as well. The staff is especially friendly. I would definitely recommend taking the short drive to stop in and visit for breakfast or lunch!
