I've visited owensboro and the creme a handful of times in the past, this is my first time since it has been redone. Coffee is subpar. Bring back an actual good coffee roasting company (sunergos). Whoever decorated needs to retire. I have no words. Sometimes quirky is okay, but in this case it is neither comfortable nor functional. Why do all the chairs look like they are out of a doctor Seuss book? The only reason this review isnt a one star review is because the baristas are friendly and welcoming, so no hate towards them. I'm assuming it isnt their fault that this place is what it has become.

Pretty good specialty drinks for which they are creative. Support small business but expect to pay little bit more than others. However the amount you get for a drink makes up for the cost per oz. Overall pleased with creative laid back atmosphere as well.

Nice to have a non-franchised, local coffee joint that offers a rich atmosphere bent on growing a community. They don't open early enough to make it convenient for any early-morning risers, so I didn't spend any time here other than date nights or walking around after dark.

I've been here numerous times after several great meals downtown and have never been disappointed. I hope you give it a try and have the same experience I did. The chai frappuccino was awesome and the chocolate chip cookies and muffin were incredible. Great job guys!!!

Been coming to The Creme for about 8 years. Love the Almond Joy and Peppermint Pattie drinks. I have mine as coffee, but latte and chillers are available, also. Free WiFi is also available and I've noticed students doing homework while in the House.

This coffee shop was so unique with big chairs that were so cool for photos! They have coffee sleeves you can leave and take from different places. A must visit. I tried the vanilla honey iced latte and my husband had the rattle snake. We both enjoyed our drinks. They were however very pricey. For two larges and one with soy it was $13. Its location was in downtown surrounded by many cute little shops and food places by a waterfront with great views.

I ordered my go to honeybee latte. I was talking with the barista/owner (?) about how much I loved European cappuccinos and he made this for me. It is a “breve-something or other”, I can’t remember. This is the best espresso drink I have had in the USA. Amazing depth and layers of taste. Thank you so much for the hospitality and experience!

Stopped in with a friend and got a couple cappuccinos and a blueberry muffin. Almost over-the-top quirky, funkified interior with miss-matched items and confusing floor/seating areas (we heard this was fairly recent new interior and it looked like the owner had a blast making this place look and feel eccentric). Counter staff was friendly and the cappuccinos were very good. Best thing was all the locals who came in--of all ages and occupations--and no hipsters!

I go here all the time and service is wonderful. If you've tried everything on the menu, and its all good, they're always having new drinks and food available every month. The atmosphere is comfortable and the design is cute and quirky. They're always hosting events like trivia, open mic, ect. It's a great place to get a good drink and relax, or try something new.

As soon as you begin walking up to the coffee shop you begin to feel how awesome and classy this place is going to be. The exterior showcases a large-scale model of a coffee mug above their entrance and the building that Creme Coffee is centralized in is of an old rustic type. Simple but definitely not artless. Especially once you see the inside. Very tasteful and the props/artwork utilized are wonderful. Excellent selection of specialty drinks. I felt very relaxed in here and comfortable. Loved the energy of this place!

This is a wonderful establishment with the most genuine faculty. My friends and I have a weekly bible study and The Creme is our gracious host every week. Besides the study, we enjoy walking around downtown and always have to take a stop at The Creme. I would recommend this coffee to anyone who enjoys a fine cup of joe.

Love this place local coffee shop with food and snacks the atmosphere is awesome and the coffee is 10x better then weird lady thing on the cup. O and they can put CBD oil in your latte to make you relax even more. Ok only thing that does suck is they need one more person to work to take orders so you don't have to stand in line so long. But the wait is worth it .

They saved a lot of the original features of the old building they are in like the old tin ceilings and the brick work, also loved the floors especially in the rest room the new floor matches the old vibe of the coffee shop.

Used to be a really nostolgic feeling place, something about it made you feel good when you were there. Now there are chairs that stretch awkwardly high that would make perfect sense in a 60's or 70's themed place but not a coffee shop. The Spot seems to look much more appealing and homey. Also not very impressed with the way management has handled things thus far.

When we travel, we always look for a locally independently owned coffee shops and not the franchises or corporate stores. I came across this in downtown Owensboro, Kentucky. What a treat! I tried their macchiato and it was delicious. You will need to ask for the real macchiato and not what some presume to be s macchiato. The atmosphere and the decor was exactly what I go for. Funky and comfort.

I’ve been going to the Creme since I was in my early teens and the atmosphere has changed into something I really didn’t expect. Instead of calling to all ages, it particularly speaks to a demographic above 30. Being a city with 4 colleges, shouldn’t it focus on a more broad demographic? Not to mention that 2 small lattes cost more than $10. Loved the drinks, a welcoming staff, just a few things that turned me off.

This place really used to be one of my favorite places in town, always loved to go. However under this new management it has started to go downhill. First of all the ‘king and queen’ chairs are way too big for the small space. Not to mention how the prices has gone up a bit. Now they are throwing in tea parties and birthday stuff, rather than just a cozy coffee shop that it used to be. No offense to the new owners but I suggest going somewhere else with more space and a more modern landscape, I really prefer the old antique cozy atmosphere that this shop once held. Where you could feel inspired and be able to meet new people, the books they used to set out to write in really made the place feel like a kind of home. To me it has treasured so many memories and has sparked some of the best ideas, not to mention my go-to spot if I want to go anywhere. I apologize if this seems rude, I just hope the old Creme can come back.

Order was incorrect, but I kept it due to being out of time, after 30 minutes of waiting, I had to eat something, I ordered a double shot of espresso and ended up having to ask for a refund after waiting 40 minutes and having to return to work.
