This is the only coffee shop in the Valley Station area and it offers great tasting coffee and other items which shouldn't be ignored. Skip Starbucks a few miles down the road - go here.

Always a great experience! When you're here, you're home. It's that comfortable of a vibe and is the perfect place to relax after a hard day, concentrate on your work, or have a heart to heart meeting with someone. There is the sweet smell of Sunergos beans brewed with a gentle classic rock tune in the background.

Just stopped in for the first time.. Im a huge coffee drinker and work at another coffee shop in Louisville. I make it a goal to check out local coffee houses wherever and whenever I can. The place has a small town feel and I had a nice chat with the owner, David. I ordered a mocha with almond and its delicuous!! Definitely will go back :)

Stomping grounds has been, as the kids would say "A 1 since day 1" wonderful people the owners are very friendly and kind. Has a variety of drinks and has more of a welcoming atmosphere compared to the typical Starbucks. I love the vibes of this place, and it is one of my favorite coffee shops in Louisville. If you're in the area definitely check it out.

Great vibe other than the cheap furniture. One guy working the entire shop made the wait to order long and total time for a latte totally unacceptable, but that's not his fault. Espresso isn't completely dialed in to smooth shots, likely just inexperience. Being the only real coffee shop in the area and it being redneckville it fits.

I've been to Quills, Sister Bean, Sunergos (the people they get their coffee grounds from), a couple small places on Bardstown Rd., and of course Starbucks, but I still find myself going to Stomping Grounds, which is very surprising for Valley Station. As a latte man I really appreciate this places variety of unique flavors and their willingness to let you make your own. Otherwise the atmosphere is homey, the owners and the baristas are very friendly, and the music is good. The only thing I think they should work on is their frappuccinos.
