This was a wonderful little find. The cafe is attached to an inn full of quaint trinkets. The food was delicious and not too expensive. The staff were friendly. We went at 11 and there was no one there.

We stopped for lunch while traveling down the interstate. We arrived at an off time, but they were more than accommodating and the food was very good. This restaurant is part of a bed and breakfast called the Grand Victorian Inn and is about a mile or two from the Mammoth Caves National Park.

A beautiful place to share a freshly made meal! It was a little pricey but we would much rather have this than fast food. The building is worth stopping by, beautifully decorated and well maintained historic decor!

Oh my goodness! I felt like I was eating Sunday dinner at my Nana's house. The food was unbelievably awesome and the prices were crazy low! Service was wonderful. The bed and breakfast where it is located is gorgeous.

Such an interesting place! We stopped by for dinner on our way home to Alabama. It's a slight detour off the interstate, but well worth the couple extra minutes. The food was amazing and the owners were super friendly. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this place. The food was good, the prices were good and it's in a very cool old hotel. I came here on a Saturday night, it was very quiet and relaxing. The people who were running the restaurant that night were super nice. I will definitely eat here again.

Sadly our experience was not a good one. Cool place, nice people, historic decor, however just too many things went wrong. They were out of lemonade, salad makings and the dessert that we wanted was still being cooked in the oven at 5 PM. My husband ordered pinto beans and he got pork and beans out of the can. We had hamburgers that we believe were frozen patties with tiny little buns. The Fried Green Tomatoes tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The reviews advertised vegetables, but couldn’t find many on the menu. The handicap assessibility was pretty rough and I almost tipped over twice due to rough terrain, loose gravel and steep grade ramp. The restroom didn’t have any tissue paper and the motion detector light would turn out on you when you were taking care of business. We don’t like to write negative reviews, yet there was just too much wrong to write a favorable one.

Enjoyed a delicious, hospitable, and interesting lunch with my family. All our food was prepared fresh and tasted great. Bourbon chicken, chicken salad, Italian hoagie, chicken noodle soup, and deserts. Staff and owners were very friendly and the historic building was well preserved. Thank you for a great experience! We'll be back next time we're in the neighborhood.

Although this is not a "quick trip" meal it was well worth the wait. Our food was delicious, hot and freshly prepared. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The meals are fairly priced. We will definitely visit again.

Welcoming, very good food, homestyle and warm. Visited the cafe for a Saturday dinner on a weekend trip in the area. While you are still in "small town america" and the variety is not much, this place was a pleasant stop. Very warm and friendly staff and welcome and solid, home-cooked meal. Relaxing and enjoyed our quiet, cozy dinner. Will likely be back if in the area.
