Just passing through and stopped here. They recommended the Lavender coffee, which I was very hesitant to try. This was the best lavender I’ve ever had. Most lavender coffees are either too sweet or too strong. This was so gentle, subtle, and nice. I found out they make their own intricate blend of lavender syrup in house, brewing actual lavender flower and other ingredients to make their syrup. Just delightful. So you may want to ask for their seasonal blends. The risk may pay off, as it did for me.

I come here a lot of mornings before work and the coffee is on point with rotating brews, so you get to try a lot of different kinds of coffee. The baristas are great and focused on what they do, with an obvious passion. There is also deceptively good amount of seating in the back, and a few patio tables for the ones that need some fresh air. Frequently showcases local artists and helps sell their work. I haven't quite explored the alcohol portion of this place due to my schedule, but conjecture would tell me it's likely in par or better than the coffee. Seriously tho stop in when you need a pick me up.

I love Lussi Brown so much. Great atmosphere and great coffee. Be aware though that since they serve alcohol this place is twenty-one and up. Regardless, it's an excellent spot to grab a coffee and do some work or reading. Really friendly baristas and really tastey coffee. They even have a buy ten get one free punch card!

I'm really glad that I found this place. I was driving through town and looking for a place to work for a couple hours. Parking can be tricky but there's a paid lot across the street. There's not a lot of tables here, but I like that because it prevents it from getting too crowded. The staff is very friendly, they have two unisex bathrooms and the coffee is outstanding. I even bought some art that I saw on the wall. I will definitely make this a workplace When I visit Lexington again.

Really cool coffee shop. I liked it better than most of the non-generic coffee shops I've been to in Lexington. They serve alcohol after 4pm and have nitro cold brew which is a plus. The staff is nice and helpful. The seating is a little small but they have a really nice atmosphere. I would definitely go back.

One of the tiniest and coolest coffee houses I've had the pleasure of visiting. The Carmel espresso drink here was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a light sweet taste added to their espresso shot drinks.

Came here during our stay-cation & anniversary as we were checking out places around Lexington we haven't been to yet and glad we did! Service was excellent and drinks were delicious (butter beer cocktail & nitro cold brew). We sat in the back which was really quiet (a lot of people working on their laptops), so we felt like we had to whisper to each other the whole time to be respectful of others. Not a big deal, but if you're looking for a place to have a conversation with friends this might not be it, at least around 4pm. I'm sure it gets more lively a little later though.

I really wanted to like this place. I visited one weekday after 4pm and the bartender/barista was not very friendly or nice. We were looking at the coffee menu and ordered some coffee but then the barista said she had to ID us and that they ID everyone no matter what drink they get. Probably 5 other people can in after us and not one of them was ID'd. Also, I bought 2 drinks at once and they have a "rewards" card but it only counts as 1 stamp per visit, which makes the whole rewards thing seem really silly. The atmosphere isn't great for a coffee shop or a bar. There isn't a place to settle in to do homework (there are a few tables in the back) and the bar has only 2-3 seats so it isn't a great place to hang out with friends either. It definitely needs some atmosphere work.

Chill, lay back, and vibe to the smooth sounds and intimate atmosphere of the cool that is Lussi Brown. The name is a combination of the owners last name, and is imbibed with all the comfort of a chic little getaway in the city. I loved their special of the season the Southern Charm as well as the S'more drink. Highly recommended for great service and sweet warmth on a cold night.

Great quaint coffee bar on a side street in downtown Lex. It was relatively quiet when we were visiting on a Friday night but we made ourselves at home with the extra seating in the back. The barista brought our drinks and they were the perfect temperature for drinking right when we received them. Nothing worse than having to wait 20 minutes for coffee to cool before drinking it! The chai latte was delicious and my friends enjoyed their latte and hot chocolate. Look forward to visiting again in the future!

This is definitely a cozy, intimate coffee shop. All the drinks I've tried have been great. The nitro cold brew is especially intriguing! The few tables in the back area seem like just enough. Wish I could stop by in the morning before work, but I rise before the sun so it's understandable they're not open!
