Christie's is iconic; a roadside diner atmosphere from 1950 when the Dixie-dieway WAS the interstate highway. It's not fancy or gourmet food, it's down-home food like fried green tomatoes and plenty of it with daily specials. Fresh, hot, delicious and plentiful. Service is always prompt and friendly and the Marilyn Monroe decor is delightful.

I've known Christi for quite a long time. All of her serving staff are usually in the family in one way or another. They all take very good care of the patrons and the food is always great. They are willing to do almost anything to make sure that your visit there is great. She always has that place decorated so neat. There's a retro, bling, young and old aura about the place I've had several different items from her menu and I have never been disappointed. Every menu item has been fantastic. So if you haven't tried this place I highly recommend it. It's great family-friendly and they have really good sweet tea haha

Food just didn't have any wow factor to it. I first order bean soup. But it was more like chilli bean soup. It was awful ☹️! The fry corn bread was falling apart from been in a warmer to long. Then I thought I would get a biscuit and gravy which was also nasty. The gravy was so over salted and the biscuit was over done. My over all expenses with the food was awful. Our waitress was very pleasant and was the best part of it.

Wife and I were hankering for a really good burger, and although we'd thought about going to some guys place we decided we needed our 2nd trip to Christi's as our last was at least 2 years ago (had been taking care of last parent previously). We are so glad we did!! I got the Big Mouth, she got the Big Mouth Bacon burger both with fries and a drink. Yuuuumy!! I also got a cup of bean soup and cornbread. Soup was good, cornbread..eh..it's good, but super close to pancakes. I personally like it with more cornmeal. Great little place with big flavor!!

I've always seen this place jam packed while driving by and wanted to try it. For a short order food place, it's ok. The biggest negative about this place is that it took over half an hour to recieve our food. The prices were great and my burger was pretty decent. My friends and family had some issues with their food, but nothing major.

Fair pricing for some super delicious food! Its priced like a steak and shake but with WAY better food. I always come here in search of some comfort food and always leave satisfied. The food was lukewarm. It was fairly well the first time I got it the second time I got it it was still lukewarm and there was a bad taste in the egg area. Almost like somebody had did something to it. But they claim it wasn't done. I don't know what happened I've never had this type of food before there. But they brought the second helping a gravy out and it was all so lukewarm. When you get lukewarm food it really don't taste good. So I don't know how you going to do this because there was very few people in that restaurant and I figured an egg and gravy it should have done been out there because usually the gravy is already done in the biscuits already done. Just my opinion service is not bad. But I don't know how long it's it back there before we got it there was one man that come in he got his food right away I don't know if they call in or not. Other than that Christie's restaurant I've been there several times and I didn't have this before

It's a pretty basic diner. Pretty slow to get the food out. Not a bad meal but nothing spectacular. Locals seem to love it but I feel like it's just because it's local and close by to some neighborhoods. If you're from out of town, go somewhere else.

Food was good. Service not so much. I asked for a very cold glass of OJ with the meal and it was never brought. My dining companion asked for jelly at the time his meal was brought, didn't get it. Was never asked if our water needed refilled. The place was not busy at the time. 3 severs a runner and 6 table with customers.

They were busy but they still waited on me quickly and food came out pretty quick and everything was tasty and cooked to order. I had smoked sausage breakfast with eggs over medium with onions in the potatoes and everything was great. They made sure I had plenty of hot coffee, very pleasant place to eat.

I hadn't eaten at Christys for sometime so I thought I would stop there today for lunch. I am very sorry I did. I ordered a BLT and a glass of ice tea. The sandwich arrived. The bacon tasted as though it had been sitting around for quite some time. The bread, white toast was so stale and crumbly it was served to me in pieces. The quality has either really diminished or they were having a really bad day. For $10 I should get more than a bad BLT and a few chips.

When we went there this evening the power was out due to the power company replacing a pole. We were met outside by Christi who told us what was going on. We were invited to come in since power was coming on soon. The staff was wonderful, brought us waters and asked if we would like a salad or coleslaw why we waited. Once the power came on the staff didn't miss a beat. They took everyone's order and soon we all had our food. The staff here are wonderful.

Great place to eat. One of the few with liver and onions still. Lots of onions and gravy which most places that still have skimp on. Was busy as normal but enough staff to keep drinks full and to stop by and ask if we were good. Parking was good plenty of space. Menu has a wide variety of things to pick from, also a decent kids selection. Wait time wasn't bad for food to arrive. Price is on par with most places. Would have been 5 star but went on a day it was 96 outside, so inside felt about 95. I understand when it gets to a certain point it's hard to cool off but bring in a few fans.

I had a pleasant experience. The very friendly staff took care of a couple of issues quickly (my child spilling her water, and our mysteriously misplaced appetizer). I had the liver and onions platter and enjoyed it a lot; it was just like my mother always made it: the meat was well done, the onions grilled al dente, and just the right amount and brown gravy on top. I definitely recommend the fried cauliflower appetizer also, as well as the fried green tomatoes.

This was my first visit to this lovely restaurant. The food was amazing and I'm glad I went there. My grandson is also a finicky eater and he liked the chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. I also saw my most amazing act of kindness. A homeless man came in and asked for something to drink. They gave him a drink but one od the waitresses asked him if she could buy him something to eat. Most places turn down homeless folks, it warms my heart knowing they didn't. This place was very busy ans I can definitely see why. The waitresses are wonderful, cheerful and alwaya have smiles. I had the best fried steak with gravy, mashex potatoes w/gravy and steames cauliflower. Definitely going back.

Steady stream of locals to dine in and for carryout during my visit in between typical lunch and dinnertime. The homemade cakes and pies alone are worth the trip! I enjoyed the flavorful hummingbird spice cake. To garner an extra star would be to serve all locally sourced homemade ingredients
