I found this place on accident while traveling between Louisville & Lexington. This must be the best coffee shop between these two cities. The shop is in a transformed historic building. The coffee was good, I’ll need to try some more, and the staff was friendly. Will be going back.

The cutest local coffee shop. They have a great menu of basic drinks and always have even better seasonal ones cycling through the shop. It is small and quiet enough to get work done. They have the cutest store attached to the back as well.

The coffee sizes were a bit strange, the regular was quite small and the larger size was a LOT. They were on the sweet side as well. Maybe I just need to try something else than my usual go-to at coffeeshops to discover the best thing here, I don't know. The place itself is quite cute and cozy, and right next door to a nice lil shop.

Really nice quiet place to have coffee and chat with a friend or browse on computer. It was a nice day so we sat outside to have coffee. It would have been nice to have tables located on side further from traffic and fumes, but it was nice. Also took time to browse the shop. Coffee was really good also and competitive with other coffee spots, even beat them price-wise.

I stopped in at 8am on a Saturday. Let’s just say this little coffee stop was worth it. The coffee was good and so was the company. I chatted up the barista and enjoyed my light roast americano. The scones were also very good. When you’re done getting coffee you can browse the eclectic shop next door; or, if coffee isn’t your thing, get a bourbon two doors down. (Although probably a good idea to wait until after lunch)

This week's specials were what brought me in today...that and I am back in town from Michigan visiting my daughter and her family. I had the Bourbon Caramel Iced Coffee. Great coffee and service once again!

Today, for small business Saturday, my mother and I decided to drive from Cincinnati to visit the Amsden in Versailles. We arrive around 4 and began shopping. We found some cute pieces but were puzzled when two young workers turned off all the lights (without saying a word) as we were shopping. I asked one if they were closing because we had looked up the business hours before coming. The website says that it closes at 7pm. The girl said yes and quickly walked away. I pulled up the website to double check myself. The other girl came into the shopping area and I asked again if they were closing because the website hours said 7. She said “yeah my manager texted me and said to close since we have been open a long time today” and walked away. I was shocked. I asked my mother if she still wanted her items and she decided to put them all back considering the way we were treated. Little did we know, it would get worse. As we began walking out, the two girls were in the coffee area giggling and we heard them talking about us. We were both very upset, we told them to have a nice day and left. We were absolutely stunned. I have never been treated this way in any business, especially not a small business and ESPECIALLY not on Small Business Saturday. Very disappointed in the Amsden and it’s employees. We will not be returning.
