From the outside, I wasn't impressed. Our daughter, and son- inlaw brought us here for breakfast. The inside was very small, but clean. The staff were very attentive, and friendly. The real star here is the food. One might think that the prices are a little high, but you definitely get your money's worth. The menu is simple. They have capitalized on an old adage. Do one thing, and do it well! We will definitely come back here again.

Service is the only thing I ever have an issue woth and its not every time or the same server every time. I go pretty often that ill have a lack luster service from a server then dread getting them again but then Ill be treated really well. Just not sure if they get treated very well consistantly. But food is always great and seems like it was freshly prepared.

It was so nice to walk in and be welcomed by someone (many people who worked there) and felt like they meant it. Food was good and there was plenty, I can't wait to go back. Sherry, it turns out is the owner and she goes and talks to everyone. She was so friendly, we will be back for sure. Check out the cinnamon roll. Good place to make new friends.

This place is awesome ! It's a step into the past, when people used to go to diners. If you're looking for a fun place to go for breakfast or some comfort food for lunch, this is the place. All of the staff is very friendly. And you can tell they love their work. Everything that I have had their was really good, Especially the pie . Also, check out their cinnamon rolls, they are as big as hubcaps. This place is worth the drive to McPherson just to experience it. Try it, you will love it, just like I do.

Fantastic hometown diner for either coffee with a friend or a breakfast and/or lunch that will make you leave feeling like you're going to bust a gut good. In the past year or so their prices have increased dramatically and it sort of left a sour taste in my mouth. All in all it's a great hometown sit down restaurant with a homely feel to it.

Well this was a special find. Definitely the local hangout. Everyone talked to everyone and asked about life acted like a family. The waiter I had was kind and asked me "so what are you up to on this fine day?" Old-school dinner feel with delicious food. Watch out waffle House( and I love me some waffle House) this place was really special! Friendly staff, excellent service, and professional. Kind of a hike in the wall space but only makes it better!

It was super fresh and the did it up crispy for me. This place made my trip that much better. Glad that little local places like this still exist.

Being from NJ, Diners are a way of life and I was pleasantly surprised when I found one in the small town of McPherson, KS. The atmosphere is perfect for a Saturday morning, bustling with patrons and servers rushing around everywhere in a long, very narrow space. A counter lines the one side, from which you can watch your food being cooked on the skillet. The prices are low, the servings large. My omelet and hash browns were cooked perfectly, and the coffee refills kept coming. The only thing missing is a local, fresh and organic focus, but I noticed I can't be too picky in Kansas. This place will be my weekend staple.

My wife and I were passing through McPherson and Google located this dinner for us. Pressed for time to our destination we still stopped for breakfast. We were not disappointed at all. The service was excellent by our waitress even while the entire dinner was full. The food was very good and we got our order within minutes. The owner was present and she made us feel welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. Also a die-hard hard Kansas City Chiefs fan with paraphernalia on the walls to show it. We will give this experience two thumbs up.

The owner cooked a pot of grits just for me. Lol. I shouldn't have ordered them and instead got some of their hash brown dishes. When in Rome kinda thing. They do bear down the heat on the eggs so they are a little overcooked but not enough to complain. The hash browns are where it's at tho. They do all kinds of things to them. They had a shaker of season salt behind the counter for us southern men. I kinda thing someone brought that to them. It's that towns only spot for early morning breakfast. I kinda wish places had more of these. They are getting harder and harder to find when you travel. They seem to be a labor of love. Anyway. Breakfast your way just about any way you want it.

Very cramped location. Only one bathroom shared by all. Pretty pricey. Food was good and waitress friendly. If a waitress was taking an order or delivering food and you were on your way to the bathroom or up front to pay you had to wait. There was no going by her.

Was an average diner. Had the clubhouse sandwich. Frozen crinkle fries. Had to put my own condiments on the sandwich which was weird to me. When I went to pay their debit machine crapped out and they were ok with taking what cash I had at the time so that was nice of them. Will probably go back just so I can pay them back the difference though soon.
