Terminal Frost

Simple order. Celery and blue cheese as well as the spinach and grilled chicken salad. No complaints and to be honest, that salad was really good. To bad the dirty table takes away from an above average trip to a restaurant that's never on my immediate list of places to visit.

All you can eat wings fail. Ordered all you can eat wings. 1 hr passes, only 10 wings and lost intrest after little $ .30 cent wings. 10 x 30 cent wings =$3.00. Still pay $14.00. Sorry will not return.

The food was great, the seating is comfortable, you can see the TV's from almost every angle. The service is good, very polite and cheerful, and the building is very well done. It's the first and oldest Hooters restuarant in Kansas City, they've remodeled several times and they sure did a heck of a job too!

We ordered from Uber eats and the wings were so hot we couldn’t even eat them. I think they should rethink the wing sauce and have a spicy meter like Buffalo Wild Wings has on their menus.

Really management!!!! Someone was victimized and you call the police on the victim. I’m embarrassed for every person who works for you. So the food is basic for a Hooters, but the thing that's stands put is the customer service. Since I walked in, i was greeted with smiles and as i was being served none of that was changed. I am glad I visited this location and plan to visit it in the future. My server Brittainie (Idk, if i got that right) but she met every request i threw at her. Food came out fast, I didn't even have time to finish my appetizer (Cake)

It's a little silly that all of the birthday, veterans day, etc. freebies are boneless wings only. Which forces you to make a purchase or leave since no one wants that. The food isn't good enough to make a purchase.

What happened to this place? We arrived before the rush came in. Took us an hour forty minutes to get our burgers. They dont tell you about the extra charge for sauces on the side. I even asked for mine on the burger. They forgot it on there and still charged me for it coming on side. We won't ever be back.

Wings is always good but of late, the service sucks. We had nights where we didn't have a waitress come our way for a long time after the initial service was done. People go to Hooters for a bit of flirty fun, but not here. Very boring at times. Not sure what the waitresses are up to .. hiding in the kitchen? So now we avoid this place. Again, the unlimited wings is awesome. I just wish the vibe was more suited to a Hooters.

Heard about the wings: Per waitress "Angel" the smoked wings and curly fries are to die for.....Well, I Lived to see another day: The Smoked Wings were soooo Good (and to die for) I recommend those along with dessert shots.....Curly fries not too much.....Maybe next time tater tots.... 11 of us went the on march 7th 2019 & it was our 9yr old grandson & our nephew's birthdays , we informed the waitress 2x & the manager it was there b day & theu never did come over & sing tp them BUT we saw a different guy across the the bar getting a song & dance for his b day, next time we will go to twin peaks !!! Our grandsln was so disappointed it seems like if u r not a " single " guy u dont get the attention. Also whem we FINALLY got 3 waitresses to come for a pic they appeared to be less than happyfor a pic. Hooters Sux !!

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a hooters the food was horrible and im not sure but I think I was over charged. For me my wife and our 2 kids it cost me 75 bucks. My wife and my meals were around 15 each and we got 1 appetizer and 2 kids meals. And 2 cokes. Our daughters had water so where did all the extra charge come from

Sat at the bar for 10 minutes before being asked for my order. There were 2 other people at the bar and it was 6:00 on a Thursday...in other words, there was no rush, and no excuse. The bartender checked her phone twice before asking me if I wanted anything. I didn’t even bother ordering food cause the guy next to me told me it took them 45 minutes to bring him a couple wings. This place is trash

My wife and I have been going to Hooters for many years and yesterday was mother's day, we had a very disappointing experience with the restaurant. We got half of our food and we waited for the rest of it. We were finally told that it would be ready soon,as my wife finally got her salad. We had already got our shrimp, which was rubber,best was the tater tots. The wings when they finally came were very disappointing and so were the shrimp they were remade. A bad experience in all. Probably won't go back.

Dudes at the bar rail you would likely see on any given visit afternoon hours. Hooters girls are personable and easy on the eyes. Food and wait times for bar service have always been acceptable. Will spend $12 easily on two big Bud drafts .

As always a wonderful meal. I love this place to eat. Everyone is so amazing. We do not eat at very many big chain restaurants, where the manager comes around to each table and checks on the customers. I love this place. Oh and I forgot to say.... I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

Hadn't been here in awhile at this location on Metcalf. The burgers were great. I server wasn't great. Drinks say empty for too long. Waitress didn't check up on us enough. She only had two other tables. She was friendly but just not punctual. I saw one other waitress working four tables and doing a great job. She was really on it. Wish she was our waitress.

Once a great place, but hasn't kept up with times and I believe it is just waiting to die off. The wings are great and the servers are friendly, but you feel like you are in the 80's everywhere you look, girls included. Corporate should have paid attention sooner as competition (Twin peaks) has taken over with a much better experience, gaining the patrons hard earned dollars (like me)!

Ridiculously slow. Order was called in for wings and I arrived when they said it would be ready. I checked in with the bartender and waited at the bar for 35 additional minutes (68 minutes total) for my small order of wings. Do they not care about take out food because they think theres no tip because I'm a tipper.

My wife and I met up with a friend there last night. When we got there we were told that we were going to have to wait. More then half the restaurant was empty. The manager told me they don’t like to overload the servers. On a Friday night and you only have 3 servers working ridiculous if you ask me. The food wasn’t great either very dry. If you can avoid this place I would. I can say I will never spend another dime at this location again.

Poor customer service. Poor food service. No attention to time sesitivity based upon ticket times. Ordered wings, shrimp .Pickles and chicken sandwich. 30 minutes to get pickles with no shrimp. Because another table ordered 150 shrimp, i get cold shrimp. Why do have to wait??? Had to ask for refills even when empty cup in front of waitress. For all that, free shrimp. Wow, no more business for this location.

Food was good service was a bit slow. We had wings. Right amount of sauce on them, cooked right. Fries were a little off... Not sure if they were over cooked.... Crunchy all the way through not just the out side. Drinks were slow to come out. Our waitress was really nice. We will go back. Hopefully the fries are better next time... My husband and I went there Friday night at 6 p.m. We love the food and that was great but the service was absolutely horrible. We had a waitress who was training someone, no worries BUT she was not training her well!!!! Many times we had empty bottles and trash on the table piling up but no one would pick it up unless we stopped and asked. I had to go up to the bar to get a glass for my beer, despite asking for one. We were not brought enough plates but when we called the waitress over and asked she said you need another one? And we said yes so we can all have our own and she said yeah ok I guess.

Came in yesterday to enjoy some wings and watch the fight. Upon arrival, the hostess and manager were VERY VERY rude to us. There was a big fight showing yesterday, and we came early to eat and to watch the fight. We called ahead and they told us seating was first come first serve. When we got there we noticed there was a lot of open seating, but they told us they had no open seats, and the open booths were reserved. We are black, and came in with a couple of other Africa Americans. The people who came in directly after us, happened to be white, were seated immediately. As we tried to explain to the hostess that this was unfair, the manager came over and demanded that we not “argue” with her hostess. After finally being seated, the manager came over to apologize for her actions earlier, as the hostess was “her daughter”, and she’s protective of her. This place, and the clowns who run it are an absolute joke. This was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had at any restaurant. If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would.

The service was terrible. I asked for a big beer and was given a small one. This also happened to 3 others in my party. When I asked why I wasn't given what I ordered, the waitresses excuse was the mgr type it in wrong. I jokingly asked if we get a free beer and see very rudely said it doesn't work that way. I've been going here for over 10 years for my fantasy football drafts and have never had this type of service. Everyone that ordered food had to wait like an hour, even for quesadillas

My recent visit to hooters on Metcalf in Overland Park Kansas was absolutely horrible. I was a corporate trainer for hooters back in the heyday many years ago. The wings are more absolutely horrible they forgot on my to go order The celery and blue cheese. When I worked for hooters in the past we took pride in our service and our food quality. I could have gotten better wings from Pizza Hut who are not known for their wings but their pizza. The one shining example was a bartender named Britney, who was 1st class in her customer service.

Rachel took good care of us! The buffalo shrimp are a longtime favorite of mine, especially with some lemon juice on them. The dipper fries were pretty salty, especially with the queso, but they were good dipped in ranch. I also had the mahi mahi sandwich and it could have used more flavor and a different type of bread. We bought two of the tiny desert cups our server brought out and they were fantastic! I'll be back for those and the buffalo shrimp.
